1. "Yo cracka, what chu be doing all up in here?" CJ asked Mario. Mario gave him a blank look. "Well-a.. I'm-a looking for Pokemon, of course." Mario said. Wasn't it obvious? "Aren't you?" CJ sheepishly looked at the ground. "Wella.. I haven't been 'aving much luck. These damn bishes won't chillax and sit down for one damn minute for me to chuck the bish ball at dem! Speaking of the damn ball, is so small! Like daaamn, how I s'posed to be able to catch sumfin wif this thang?!" CJ finished and sat down, stumped. "Well-a... why don't you-a give me some of your Pokeballs and I'll-a catch them for you?" Mario explained thoughtfully. The poor gangster wasn't having much luck catching Pokemon. CJ nodded and gave Mario 5 Pokeballs. "If you-a see the others.. do the same." and with that, Mario ran off because he tought he had heard a Pokemon. He looked back and CJ was walking the other direction. "Phraaa!" he heard. Mario looked to his left and spotted a small elephant.. well, it wasn't too small. It also had armor on its back. The Pokemon curled up into a ball and rolled at Mario. Pulling out a Pokeball, Mario leaped over it and chucked the small sphere right down on it. It was sucked inside and Mario's Pokedex started talking. "Congratulations, you have captured Donphan."
2. Hehe, I caught it when I was reading Sakura/JJ's posts that had Jolteon in it and remembered that Wraith had a Jolteon. So, as soon as I found the post where Sakura captured Jolteon I PMed Wraith. Don't you just love me? ^_^
3. Mario just barely dodged the lethal blow and scrambled to his feet. He carefully studied the Pokemon that was now glaring at him. It was a black and purple snake with an axe for a tail and fangs to go with it. How pleasant. The snake opened it's mouth and jumped Mario's head. His head! The plumber ducked and turned around, grabbing the neck of the large viper. But Seviper was too smart for Mario, within seconds Mario had the Pokemon's tail swiping down at him. He had to let go of the snake. So, Mario jumped to the side and Seviper stopped the attack seconds before impact on his own long body. Readying an empty Pokeball, Mario charged the fanged beast and jumped at it. Seviper looked in his direction and nimbly slithered out of the way, causing Mario to land on the grass. Mario got back up and charged again. Seviper ducked down but Mario was ready this time, he grabbed the Pokemon's neck and tail. Immobilizing it completely. Seviper was at least 8ft. long so Mario had to hold the tail and neck together. Now all Mario had to do was get to a Pokeball... somehow. He dragged the snake over to where he had dropped the Pokeball and carefully curled one arm around the neck and tail, bunching it together leaving one hand free. He slowly bent down and got the empty Pokeball, than hit it on Seviper's face as hard as he could. Mario did not like this thing. But the dazed Pokemon was captured. "Congratulations! You have capture Seviper." said his Pokedex. Mario gathered his things and orgranized them once again, putting everything back in its place. He continued on his journey and eventually found his way out of the jungle. He was glad to see the open field in front of him. It was completely covered in tall grass and... CJ?
4. Mario walked through the forest with both hands on his backpack. He only had 5 Pokeballs left and than what? What was he going to do after all his Pokeballs were gone? He was unsure at the moment and decided it would be best not to think about it at the current time. All his concentration had to go towards catching Pokemon. "Troaa!" the sound shattered Mario's ears. It sounded like dinosaur, but bigger. "Troaaa!" this time the roar was followed by earth quaking footsteps. Something was running, and it was big. Mario quickened his pace and eventually started running. Looking behind him he saw a huge dinosaur pokemon that was brown with leafy green all over. It had four legs and a long neck with fruit growing from it. And that was nice and dandy and all, but it was stampeding right towards Mario. Something was chasing it. Eventually, the Pokemon made it's way to Mario and with a short jump he managed to avoid being stomped on. Quickly pulling out his Pokedex, Mario climbed up the leg of the running dinosaur and sat on his back, feet flailing in the air. He pulled out a Pokeball and tapped it against the huge Pokemon. It was sucked inside and Mario fell to the ground with a large thump. "Congratulations, you have captured Tropius. Tropius' data was added to the Pokedex. Tropius, the fruit Pokemon. The bunches of fruit around Tropius' neck are very popular with children. This Pokemon loves fruit, and eats it continuously. Apparently, its love for fruit resulted in its own outgrowth of fruit." Mario sighed with relief. He was about to put his Pokedex away again when it interupted him. "Seviper, the fang snake Pokemon. Seviper shares a generations-long feud with Zangoose. The scars on its body are evidence of vicious battles. This Pokemon attacks using its sword-edged tail." Mario slowly looked up and saw a sharp red tail flying through the air. At him.
5. Mario sat down on a nearby rock, exhausted from all the running he had done. He took off his hat and whiped the sweat away from his forehead. All around him was sand and water, just behind him was the forest. But no Pokemon were to be seen anymore. He must've scared them all away. Putting his bag around his back once again, he whipped on his hat and trotted into the forest in hope of finding more Pokemon. Eventually he could no longer see the beach or hear the ocean. He kept on trucking until finally, he had to sit down because he was so tired. While looking for a comfortable spot to rest his buttox, Mario found a small hole in the ground. Mario inched towards it curiously. Just than, a small furry head poked out and looked around. It glanced at Mario and quickly darted back into the hole. Mario stomped his foot on the hole and within seconds it was now big enough for him to crawl through. Everything was dusty, but he could see his prey a few feet in front. It was nearly impossible to tell where it's long tail started and where it ended. Mario dived forward in the little tunnel and managed to grapple the tail. "Ah hah!" he yelled with glee. Realizing his Pokeballs were still outside, he slowly made his way out of the tunnel by crawling backwards only using one arm. Finally he made it out with the Pokemon. Woah! This Pokemon was skinny and furry but it was long. At least 5'11" in length. Mario tossed an empty Pokeball at the smapering scoundrel and watched it get sucked inside. 'Ping' "Congratulations! You have capture Furret. Furret's data was added to the Pokedex. Furret has a very slim build. When under attack, it can slickly squirm through narrow spaces and get away. In spite of its short limbs, this Pokemon is very nimble and fleet." Mario belted his Pokeball and threw his pack over his shoulder once again, eagerly searching for more Pokemon.
6. As soon as Mario finished listening to his Pokedex's speech on Gastly, he ran out of the Haunted Mansion scared half to death. When he reached outside he found himself in a graveyard. It was almost morning so he decided he would sit tight until the sun came up. That was a bad idea. It wasn't even 5 minutes before his Pokedex broke the silence. "Duskull, the Requiem Pokemon. Duskull can pass through any wall no matter how thick it may be. Once this Pokemon chooses a target, it will doggedly pursue the intended victim until the break of dawn." Shaking, Mario put his Pokedex away and slowly stood up. "Duskull.." "Wa-wa-wa-wa!" yelped Mario. He almost dropped back to the ground if he hadn't grabbed onto the skull behind him... Uh oh. He turned his head around and looked at the Ghost pokemon floating behind him. It's eyes glowed a bright red in the dark and its face was hidden by the front of a skull. A skull which Mario was holding onto. He let go and jolted back a few feet. "Wha-wha-what-a do you want...?" The Duskull advanced on him and Mario bolted away within seconds. The Duskull was hot on his trail and didn't have to worry about jumping over tombstones. Finally Mario haulted and grabbed a Pokeball off of his belt. He chucked it into the air and Gastly appeared with a flash. Mario pointed at Duskull and whispered to the gasious Pokemon. "Tell-a him to stop..." Gastly nodded and floated towards Duskull. They started saying their names over and over and eventually Gastly returned himself to Mario's Pokeball. The Duskull approached Mario once again, but stopped a few feet away. One of Mario's Pokeballs floated out of his back and whipped itself at Duskull, sucking it inside. "Congratulations! You have captured Duskull!" said Mario's Pokedex. Mario opened his eyes and realized he was no longer in a graveyard. He was now back on the beach. Which it seems where he was the whole time because his footprints were still in the sand. It was all a big illusion.
7. Chapter 1 "The prophecized... four?" "Sir!" yelled an eager soldier of King Tratus' legion. "Four villagers have now been chosen and rounded up in the room behind us. Would you like me to bring in Queen Esayal, Prince Jaspin and Princess Kulayla?" The King stood up and worked out the wrinkles in his robe, than sat back down. "Yes, send them in." The guard hollered something in a different language and a door to the King's right swung open. A women gracefully walked in. She had a flowing emerald cloak lined with white fur and a green robe covering the rest of her. She was very pretty and her skin was pale but attractive. Her hair was blonde and tied in a bun so she could wear her crown properly. Following behind her walked in a younger lady. She looked to be in her twenties and had majestically long blonde hair. Around her was a blue robe and on her forehead she wore a silver tiara encrested with sapphires. Not to far behind her was Prince Jaspin. He walked nobely along with a blue cape following behind. On his head, covering most of his short blonde hair was a silver crown, also encrested with saphires. "Welcome friends!" said Tratus, standing up from his seat. He walked over and hugged them all once over and motioned for them to sit down at the large table to his left. He sat down there aswell. "As you all know we have a problem. We are missing a prophecized warrior. Our priests only found four of the many who were summoned." he stated. The rest nodded and Queen Esayel spoke up. "It is a problem we cannot worry about. With or without the fifth prophecized one, we have to send out what we have. I'm sure they will find the fifth eventually." Outraged, Jaspin slammed his fist on the table. "How can you be so sure?! This is our whole world we are protecting!" His sister, Kulayla, grasped his arm and calmed him. "You are too much like our father, Jaspin. There is nothing else we can do. We have to set the four out on their journey." she said. "So it is settled than." Tratus explained. "We send out what we have." ~*~ About a day later, men and women from around Dae'mora gathered around the palace in Treada City awaiting to see the five Crystal Warriors. From a balcony up high, the four leaders of Dae'mora stepped out. First, King Tratus stepped forward and haulted the applause and cheering with a wave of his arm. He spoke loudly to all that could hear. "Firstly, we have a Minstrel from a small village located in the most northern parts of Treada. Please welcome, Naminé Valentine!" he shouted. Everyone broke out in applause and watched as a girl with whitish-bluish hair walked out of the castle doors. Tratus stepped down and Queen Esayel stepped into where Tratus was before. "Next we have a Knight all the way from the wilderness of Valera, please make way for Yavela Dubrin, formerly Yavella Maekros!" Once again, every cheered and anxiously watched another girl with short brown hair walked out and stopped beside the Minstrel. Queen Esayel walked back beside Tratus and watched as Prince Jaspen took her place. "Now. We have a Priest raised in Piot Monsetary itself, Andro Piot!" he started claping and the audience did the same when a pale, blonde boy trudged out and stood beside Yavella. Prince Jaspen turned around and let his twin sister step forward. "And finally, folks. Last but certianly not least, an Archer from west Haydeseu... Rain Avella!" The audience roared and clapped as the final person, a girl, stepped out beside the other warriors. King Tratus once again stepped forward. "We have one final announcement before we let our Warriors go." he shouted. Whispers and murmers of the confused crowd could be heard. "The priests of all 3 nations could not find a fifth Crystal Warrior. So, for now, we only have four." Everyone seemed so confused, some understood, others were frustrated. Regardless, the band played and everyone watched their heroes walk down the path and out of the city. When the warriors were out of sight, they all looked at eachother and sat down, pooped.
8. Welcome to the Crystal Warriors underground. This is where I will explain the chapters with much more detail and out of character (of course). You guys can also use this as a place to talk out of character what you're going to do and yadda yadda. So, in the first chapter, 'The prophesized... four?', we introduced our four warriors. In your first posts, you'll be introducing your characters to eachother and making your way to the nearby forest, Vedalia Forest. Let everyone post once over before you make your way for Vedalia Forest. Also, there will be no fighting or even seeing monsters yet. You can encounter anything else, though. Any questions will be asked here. Have fun!
9. Mario tossed his newly captured Pokemon's Pokeball up and down into the air. He was pleased with this one, it was hard to capture so he was sure that it had to be one of the Legendaries Mog was talking about. "Yanma.. the Legendary Bug-a Pokemon." he said to himself. He chuckled and walked on, latching the Pokeball back onto his belt. Grumble, grumble. Mario sheepishly rubbed his stomach and quickly glanced around for something to eat. Nadda. He kept on trecking until finally in the distance he made out what looked to be a nice mansion. He ran towards it as fast as he could in hopes of there being food inside. When he made his way to the mansion, he realized it wasn't what he had thought it was. Everything around the house was old and broken, it was pitch black out and only the full moon gave light. The Mansion itself was rusty and cracked everywhere. At every corner was a spiderweb and it was just all around spooky. Regardless, Mario was hungry, so he went inside. When he stepped in, the door immediately slammed shut behind him, scaring the bejeebers out of him. "Oh! Mamma mia.." he said. That's when he heard it. "OooooOOOoooo...." It sounded like a fake ghost trying to scare a child. "OOooooooo..." There it was again. Finally, a faint purple light appeared in front of Mario. He made it out as a floating ball.. with teeth. And eyes. "Aaha! A ghost-a!" yelped Mario. Quickly he ran towards the door searching for the handle to get out. It wasn't there! He turned around, back against the door. The ghastly figure was coming closer and closer. Then it hit him. It was a Pokemon! Scrambling for any courage he could find, Mario whipped out his Pokedex and pressed the button. "Gastly, the gas Pokemon. Gastly is largely composed of gaseous matter. When exposed to a strong wind, the gaseous body quickly dwindles away. Groups of this Pokemon cluster under the eaves of houses to escape the ravages of wind." Mario picked a Pokeball out of his pack. "Scare-a me why don't ya?!" he yelled just before he chucked the Pokeball at Gastly. Instantly, Gastly was captured.
10. Well, these are sign-ups are all looking very impressive. Although unfortunately I come baring bad news. The adventure, Crystal Warriors, will not be launching for at least another week (4 days if we are lucky). Even though I am now out of school for two weeks, I still have much to do including Christmas Eve Service, Christmas Day get togethers, Birthdays, Anniversaries... The list goes on. But with bad news, good news is always sure to follow. I have added another class to the list in my first post. Minstrel is at the top with a short description. So go ahead and read it. EDIT: The list is here. Naminé Valentine - Minstrel Yavela Dubrin - Knight Andro Piot - Priest Rain Avella - Archer I'll PM those accepted when I start the adventure. It may be a couple days though. To those that weren't accepted (especially KKC), good luck next time. The decision was horribly difficult for me to make and took 2 days longer then I had thought it would. Thanks, everyone.
11. Only eight Pokeballs left. Mario had come a long way since he had left his teammates at the beginning of the challenge. From climbing a huge mountain, to being sucked underwater, he was exhausted. Articunos flight was very comfortable. When Mario thought he had spotted land far ahead, he knew he was right because a bug Pokemon zipped right by him. Maybe he could catch this one to make up lost time. He tugged on Articuno and forced her to swing back around behind the red bug to catch up to it. It zipped left and right realizing that it was being hunted down. This Pokemon was only about 3'11'' tall with a wingspand about the same length as its long tail. It came to a sudden stop and flew straight down a couple feet causing Articuno to fly right past it. "Smart.. Let's-a see if you can-a avoid this!" yelled Mario. He jumped off Articuno to see if he could grab onto the Pokemon's tail. He almost had it but missed and fell down towards the ground. Hmm.. it seemed with all this chasing they had made it back to land. He landed softly on Articunos back and they swooped back up without a thought. Mario gently patted Articuno and they rose above the bug once again. Mario had a different plan this time. So he jumped off the large bird and instead of trying to grab the Pokemon as he passed it, he threw a Pokeball to where it wasn't. And, to his luck, it hit it when the Pokemon zipped to avoid Mario. The bug was sucked inside and Mario caught it just before he landed back on Articunos back. "Congratulations! You have captured a Yanma!" Mario groaned at his Pokedex's voice and listened intently as he got off Articuno when they landed on the beach. "New Entry! Yanma is capable of seeing 360 degrees without having to move its eyes. It is a great flier that is adept to making sudden stops and turning midair. This Pokemon uses its flying ability to quickly chase down prey."
12. The waves brushed against the sides of Lapras' body as they drifted further and furhter into the sea. The sea current was soothing as it lapped against the ends of Mario's feet. It was about an hour before Mario had gotten bored of riding the sea Pokemon. He patted her neck. "I need to-a catch some Pokemon.." he said, realizing it had been a long time since he had caught one, not including Lapras. Lapras slowed to a stop and looked back at Mario with those glimmering eyes she had. She plucked at her Pokeball and was sucked inside, leaving Mario floating in the water. "This isn't-a what I meant!" he yelped. He thought about all the Pokemon he had captured so far and couldn't think of one that would help him out of his current situation. Suddenly, something large and slimy wrapped around his leg and pulled him underwater. He plunged deeper and deeper until the top of the water was so far away that it was nearly impossible to get back to the top without having to take another breathe. That's when he realized that he was being pulled down by a Pokemon. It would explain the three huge sapphire eyes glaring right at him. They must have been at least a foot or two wide. The slimy arm threw Mario into the air and caught him with.. another arm? How many arms did this thing have? He had seen at least another three in the ocean below. Was this thing juggling him? At least his pack was shut tight. As he was once again tossed into the air and this time pulled a Pokeball off of his belt. He threw it down into the water and anxiously awaited his Pokemon to come to his rescue. Not 10-15 seconds after, Articuno came flying out of the water and grappled Mario with its claws flying him away from the tentacles reach. Articuno whipped an ice beam at the large octupsu that had risen out of the water and it was instantly frozen. Mario took this moment to his advantage and whipped an empty Pokeball at the frozen squid. It was sucked right inside and Articuno swooped down and picked up the now full Pokeball with its beak. Mario swung onto Articunos back and held on tightly, taking the Pokeball from Articuno and placing it on his belt. "Congratulations!" said his Pokedex. "You have captured Tentacruel. New Entry! Tentacruel, the jellyfish Pokemon. The tentacles on Tentacruel are normally kept short. On hunts, they are extended to ensnare and immobilze prey." Mario happily put away his Pokedex and rode Articuno back to the beach where he had been before.
13. It slowly drifted towards Mario. The sea serpeant that is. He jumped when it opened it's mouth and started singing. Having an 8 foot blue creature wade towards you with its jaw hanging wasn't the most soothing thing in the world. But the song was nice. It was.. very nice. In fact it was so nice that no more than 5 minutes of Mario listening to it he fell asleep. Swish.. swish.. Mario peered open his eyes and looked around. There was something jabbing at his butt. He sat up and saw he was in the middle of the ocean.. on the sea serpeant. How pleasent. Staying as calm as possible he moved forward and held onto the Pokemon's neck like reins. "Hello-a.." he said. "I realize.. this is very exciting. But I have some catching to--" he stopped right there. As fast as humanly possible, he snatched a Pokeball from his bag and tapped it on the gray shell. As fast as you could say "captured!" the monstrous Pokemon was enveloped in a red light and tucked neatly inside the Pokeball with a 'ping'. "Congratulations! You have captured Lapras!" Mario dropped down into the water and threw the Pokeball back into the air. Lapras was released back into the water and lifted Mario onto her shell using her mouth. He rubbed her neck in thanks and listened to what his Pokedex had to say. Figuring it would be a long journey he chose the option of more information using the menu. "New Entry! Lapras, the transport Pokemon. This Pokemon has been over hunted almost to extinction. It can ferry people across the water using its comfortable shell on its back. A gentle soul that can read the minds of people, Lapras may sing an enchanting cry if it is in a good mood. In the evenings, this Pokemon is said to sing plaintively as it seeks what few others of its kind still remain." Mario soothingly patted his new found friend on the back of her neck and spoke out softly. "You are-a my favourite."
14. Mario walked through the jungle looking left and right for any more spiders or rocks masquerading as trees. Alas, he did not find any and was quite disappointed when he came to the end of the forestry. However, the picture-perfect display he was seeing infront of him made up for it. At the end of the tree-filled jungle was a beach and a lovely ocean. It almost glimmered in the sunlight and seemingly flowed without a care in the world. But that's not what was so spectacular. It was superb. There were almost two dozen Pokemon in front of Mario all enjoying the water or basking in the sunlight along the shore. For a split second, Mario spotted a blue sea dragon with a large shell on it's back in the water. As Mario trotted forward, he came to pass two red and white crabs, one much larger and a lot more muscular than the other. More muscular? A crab? This world was a strange one. Well-a.. I guess I should capture as many as I can then. thought Mario. He sat down and decided he would wait for the Pokemon to come to him instead. To show he posed no threat. Overtime nothing happened, a brown worm had poked its head up in front of Mario, but buried itself underground to quickly for Mario to even get out his Pokeball. It was no longer after that when the bird perched on a rock beside him. It had a petit body and small legs but long wings. They fell down over the boulder practically covering it's torso. The segull looking Pokemon was white with some blue patterns on it. It's beak also had a black spot on the end. Curiously, it twitched its head left and right, possibly looking for food. Slowly, Mario stood up and picked up the the Pokeball he had left on the ground from the visiting worm. He quietly tossed it at the bird and watched as it was sucked right into the ball. "Wa-hoo!" yelped the ecstatic plumber. He walked over and clipped the Pokeball onto his belt where he had decided all his full Pokeballs would go. "Congratulations! You have captured a Wingull!" the Pokedex said. "New Entry!" Mario mouthed along with the New Entry part, mocking the mechanism. "Wingull, the Seagull Pokemon. Wingull rides updrafts rising from the sea by extending its long and narrow wings to glide. This Pokemon's long beak is useful for catching prey." Mario had started making his way towards the sea. He waded into the water and plotted himself down, the ocean only rising to his shoulders. That's when he saw the sea dragon again. It rose out of the water, not 10 feet away and glared at Mario.
15. Still overcoming the paralysis that had taken over Mario, he continued walking through the forest looking for any type of Pokemon to catch. It was when he had stopped to tie a loose shoelace that he caught a glimpse of something to his left. He decided to play oblivious and stood up to continue along the path in the grass. There it was again. It was high up in the trees, and the only visible part of it was its eyes. They were small, black and beady, barely noticeable. Mario just kept walking, trying avoid the Pokemon. Anything hiding that high up in a tree with glaring eyes should not be dealt with. Those were words to live by. He continued along the path when he realized his mistake. He was continuing along the path! Any Pokemon with half a brain wouldn't reside near paths. So Mario cut into the woods and immediately found a Pokemon. Its chest was long and slender and had the same texture and colour as the branches around it. Portuding from the creatures skinny body were two wiggly arms with grapes at the ends. It glanced at Mario and was quick to speak. "Sudowudo!" it yelped. With no time to think it charged at Mario. Mario was not expecting this and was taken down to the ground very fast. The pokemon, instead of beating him to pulp, it got up, brushed itself off and ran away. As fast as possible, Mario jumped to his feet and chased after it. They darted through the forest, dodging low-hung tree branches, jumping fallen tree trunks. They passed a small clearing where a spider was webbing its prey. Finally Mario pulled out his Pokeball and aimed then ditched it at the branch-pokemon. It was sucked inside with a red light and a 'bleep!' and all was done. He walked over and picked up the Pokeball, shrinking it then putting it into his pack. "Congratulations!" said the familiar voice of his Pokedex. Mario started walking back to the spider so he could catch it if he was lucky. "You have captured a Sudowoodo!" "That's-a nice.." "New Entry! Sudowoodo camouflages itself as a tree to avoid being attacked by enemies. However, because the forelegs remain green throughout the year, the Pokemon is easily identified as a fake during the winter." By the time the Pokedex finished talking, Mario had managed to get himself lost. He had no idea where he was and what he was doing.
16. Mario clapped his Pokedex shut and stuffed it in his front overall pocket. As he walked along, night quickly turned to day and everything was fresh and green. He spotted some berried and started nipping at them, tasted like strawberries and blueberries mixed into one hard fruit. He went onto the next bush. It was an odd shape. It was a long curved beige coloured branch that stuck out of some other bushes with apple-sized green spheres on the end. He was about to rip one off when it wiggled... then stopped. He was about to touch it again when it shook for a second time! "What-a the.." he said. This seemed to startle the bush and a creature shot up from it and faced Mario, the branch turned out to be its tail. The Pokemon was about 3'11" tall and was green and beige everywhere except it's arms... because it had none that were visible. "Bra-lume~?" it said curiously, tilting its head inward towards Mario's face. Mario went to grab his Pokedex... but he couldn't. What was wrong? He couldn't move! "Mamma--!" yelped the confused Mario. He was Paralyzed. The Breloom slowly started walking away from Mario. But it stopped about 4 feet away to nip at something that was sitting on the grassy ground. That's when Mario was finally able to move and he snatched a Pokeball from his backpack and threw it at the Shroomish looking Pokemon. In no time at all, the Breloom was safe inside a Pokeball in Mario's palm. "Congratulations!" chimed in Mario's Pokedex, right on que. "You have Captured a Breloom. New Entry! Breloom, the Mushroom Pokemon. The seeds ringing Breloom's tail are made of hardened toxic spores. It is horrible to eat the seeds, just taking a bite of this Pokemon's seed will cause your stomach to rumble. When encountering this Pokemon, there is a 10% chance of being Paralyzed." So, he was paralyzed. That explained a lot, it must've happened when Breloom had shaken it's seeds at Mario and let off a spore that he swallowed.
17. Mario sat down and twiddled his thumbs for a bit. He didn't like the dark, and although it was a full moon, it was still fairly black out. He was just about to leave when he heard a faint cry. "Waaaaaaaaaaaah!" it said. Mario quickly looked around and saw nothing. He started running towards the sound. "Waa-hahah... waah..." the voice cried out again. It sounded like a little girl weeping after her lillipop was stolen. "Hello-a? Is there-a anybody there?" Mario asked. Nobody answered... except for the frustrated stranger who was balling their eyes out. "Helloooo-a?" "Waaaaaah!" The sound was getting louder and louder until finally Mario saw what was making all the commotion. It was a short orange lizard with two spikes on it's back. Covering it's face was a large bone skull and in its right hand the Pokemon held a marrow club. The Pokemon looked at Mario with wide tear-filled eyes. "Cubooone..." it screeched. The lizard ran up to Mario and hugged his leg, crying. Mario turned on his Pokedex and pointed it at the skull-faced creature. "Cubone, the lonely Pokemon. Because it never removes its skull helmet, no one has ever seen this Pokemon's real face. Cubone pines for the mother it will never see again. Seeing a likeness of its mother in the full moon, it cries. The stains on the skull the Pokemon wears are made by the tears it sheds." Mario wiped a small tear that had formed in his eye from all the depressing thoughts and pulled out a Pokeball. He kneeled down and the Cubone looked up at him. "Come-a here.. you'll be happier inside." he said as he tapped the sphere on Cubone's skull. Instantly, the Pokemon was sucked inside and the weeping could be heard no more. "Congratulations! You have just captured a Cubone."
18. Oh, man. Who hasn't fallen for the ever popular bonsai kitten prank? I remember when I saw the pictures and such.. I felt so bad and heartbroken, that I also brought it to OB. 19. Mario cautiously approached the large blue bird that seemed to not have noticed his presence. It lifted it's right wing and slowly started pecking at the inside, seemingly cleaning itself. Mario stumbled and fell flat in the snowy surface. The bird quickly looked up and glared at Mario. Reaching for his Pokedex, Mario paniced and dropped it. He scrambled to pick it up. The bird was flying away. "Articuno, the Legendary Bird Pokemon. Articuno is a legendary bird Pokemon that can control ice. The flapping of its wings chills the air. As a result, it is said that when this Pokemon flies, snow will fall." the now annoying device stated. Mario felt a sudden chill and realized that Articuno was taking off. He dashed towards it in a hurry and managed to jump on it's back before it took off at an amazing speed. "Articuno!" it yelled at him. It tried pecking him but all it did was hurt itself. "I'm-a sorry, gentle bird. But I-a have to capture you." said Mario. He dipped his hand into his backpack and pulled out a Pokeball. Tapping it on the bird's back, there was a large flash of red and it was instantly sucked inside. Mario quickly realized his mistake and started falling down, down, down towards what he couldn't see because it seemed to be night time there. *thump* "Congraatula-tions. You have captUUURED an ARTICun...!" Mario scrambled to his feet and looked around him. For the most part, it was dark but he could still make out some rocky cliffs. And he was definitely on grass. He looked around for the Pokeball to make sure it was all in one piece. He found it not 5 feet away from where he landed and slipped in onto his belt. He than carefully took his Pokedex out of his pocket. It wasn't in very bad condition. Just.. needed some time out. He turned it off and sat down letting out a long drawn-out sigh. "Mamma mia..."
20. After capturing the mysterious Mew, Mario had taken a rest to sit down and have a small snack. He set his pack down on the floor and pulled out the only lunch he had packed. It was a sandwhich.. and it was almost a day old since he had made it in the morning. Mario stuck his hand inside his bag and pulled out the three occupied pokeballs. He tossed them onto the ground infront of him and watched as the three captured Pokemon emerged in a bright red light. Doduo looked around curiously and almost instantly started arguing with it's other head. They furiously pecked at eachother as the Graveler beside them watched and rolled onto his back laughing. Mew just floated there. Staring. It was creepy. Mario finished his sandwhich and stuffed his wrapper inside his pack. He returned his Pokemon one by one until only Mew was left. "Maybe-a I will leave you out." Mario thought aloud. Mew tilted it's head at him again. Mew? it said. It then started waving it's dinky little arms from left to right in unison humming something. Mew's fingertips suddenly started glowing and everything around Mario flashed a bright white light and when the light was gone, he was somewhere else. He quickly surveyed his surroundings. He stood up and concluded he was in the middle of mist. He couldn't see his hands in front of him. Quickly, Mario returned Mew to it's Pokeball and got on his hands and knees feeling around for his pack. Eventually he found it and strapped it to his back. The short italian silently marched forward, not sure what he was looking for and where he was going. Finally he bumped right into a wall. "Ow-a.." he said as he rubbed his forehead. Then he heard a low grumble. "Torkoal." the wall said. The wall said? Mario suddenly realized it was a Pokemon and he went to grab his Pokedex. "Torkoal, the fire Pokemon. Torkoal generat energy by burning coal. It grows weaker as the fire dies down. When it is preparing for battle, this Pokemon burns more coal generating a stream of mist in it's general area." Mario grabbed an empty Pokeball from his belt and smashed the 'wall' with it. Suddenly, a faint red light flashed and he heard a 'ping' come from his Pokeball. "Contratulations! You've captured a Torkoal." said the mechanical voice Mario was now familiar with. As Mario was just putting the Pokeball back into his pack, he noticed that the mist had disappeared and he realized finally where he was. Not only was it the top of the mountain, it was also very snowy, cold, and the nesting ground of a blue bird Pokemon.
21. Mario carefully crossed the rampaged path after all the boulder-pokemon had finished crossing. He went on with his hike until he remember something about the Pokemon he had used in Super Smash Brothers. When you threw the Pokeball and it hit something, the Pokemon would come out and -if it trusted you- would do what you wanted it to. He randomly selected one of the two filled Pokeballs he had and tossed it onto the ground. The ball floated into the air in recoil and opened up. A red light shone out of it and Graveler looked around confused. Mario calmy started talking to it. "Hello-a.. Can-a.. I ride you up this-a mountain?" he asked. Graveler let out a roar and turned his back to Mario, sticking his bottom set of arms out as steps for Mario to hope on with. The plumber slowly stepped onto the boulder-like creature and lay down on it belly-down. Graveler started jogging up the trail at a nice pace. Mario was making good time on his Pokemon. After a short while of jogging, the Graveler slowed and than eventually stopped. Mario slid of his back and Graveler pointed to a rocky wall beside them. He curled into a ball and rolled right through it. Cautiously, Mario stepped inside what looked like a cave and returned Graveler to his Pokeball. Mew. "Ah-wa?!" Mario yelped at the shocking noise. He looked all around but everything was pitch black. "Who's-a there?" he asked. There was no reply for a tiny bit until a bright light shone infront of him knocking him back. When Mario looked at it he saw a pink cat-like Pokemon encased in a see-through bubble, floating... staring at him. It titlted it's head to the side. Mew? The 'Mew' seemed to be talking to Mario telepathically. He inched towards it, slowly pulling out a Pokeball. He rolled it towards the Pokemon and it floated down to the ball. Tapping the button on the sphere with it's nose, Mew was isntantly sucked into the Pokeball. Mario's Pokedex chimed in. "Congratulations. You have captured a Mew. This Pokemon is said to possess genetic composition of all Pokemon. It is capable of making itself invisible at will, so it entirely avoids notice even if it approaches people."
22. Well, I honestly did not expect to get this many sign-ups overnight. A couple problems so far. Satori, your sign-up is coming along very well but I guess what I didn't make clear enough was that nobody knows who the Crystal Warriors are yet. You are all being summoned to be tested. EDIT: Also, Mage is not a class. I'm assuming you meant Wizard? That's it so far. Looks good, guys. Take your time.
23. After the terrifying encounter with the two-headed ostrich Pokemon, Mario had encountered no other monsters for a while. He managed to make his way out of the grassy plains he had been in and found himself at the bottom of a large mountain. All around the mountain was a large spiraling path that Mario decided he would hike up to see if he could find some Pokemon. The short man found the start of the path and started his long trek up the rocky hill. He couldn't even see the top of it so he was sure that if he got there he'd be able to spot tons of Pokemon. As he shimmied past a very narrow part, he started to hear loud rumbling noises. He ran towards the noise and came to a sudden halt as he saw what was causing all the commotion. Just about 10 feet infront of him were tons of rocks rolling down a cliffy area of the mountain. But they were making more than just rumbling noises. Everyonce in a while a loud "Golem~!" or "Grav-a-lerr!" would be let loose into the air. Mario whipped out his Pokedex and quickly pressed the white button. "Geodude, a rock-type Pokemon. When Geodude sleeps deeply, it buries itself halfway into the ground. It will not awake even if hikers step on it unwittingly. In the morning, this Pokemon rolls downhill in search of food." said the Pokedex in it's usual robotic voice. It then continued with its speech. "Golem, a rock-type Pokemon. Golem is known for rolling down mountains." Mario clicked the white button again to skip the rest of his speech as he had already read ahead of it on the screen. "Graveler, a rock-type Pokemon. Rocks are Graveler's favourite food. This Pokemon will climb a mountain, from base to summit, crunchingly feasting on rocks all the way. Upon reaching the peak, it rolls down to the bottom." Mario flipped his Pokedex close and snatched out a Pokeball from his belt. One of the pokemon had stopped and charged towards him. He chucked the sphere at the it and hoped it actually hit. He saw a flash of red light and watched as the Pokeball almost magically floated back to his hand. "Congratulations! You have captured a Graveler." said a low-toned voice mumbled by Mario's pack.
24. Mario wondered around the Pokemon Safari, not exactly sure what he was looking for. Although he had dealt with Pokemon before when he was making his battle games, Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee, it wasn't quite enough experience to go out and capture some Pokemon! There was a rustle in a bush nearby and Mario quickly glanced to his right. He followed the shaking of the grass with his eyes. This thing was fast. Mario calmly stepped towards it as the figure stopped. "Here-a here.. don't-a fret little one." Mario said, putting out his hand. The figure emerged from the tall green revealing itself. Mario pointed his Pokedex at it and clicked the large white button. "Doduo, the Twin-Bird Pokemon. Although the Doduo seems to have two heads, the two head's brains are identical. Scientific studies show that on rare occasions, there will be examples o f this Pokemon possessing different sets of brains." stated the Pokedex in a rather monotone voice. Mario quickly snatched up one of his Pokeballs and readied himself for the worst. He through it at the Bird creature and watched as the Pokeball bounced off one of it's heads and in mid-air, stopped, opened up and sucked it inside with a red laser. The slightly frightened hero inched towards the Pokeball, as it was still rumbling a bit, and waited for the rumbling to stop before he picked it up. He latched it onto he belt and let out a sigh of relief.
25. CRYSTAL WARRIORS There is a hero in all of us; you just need to unleash it. INTRODUCTION Welcome, one and all, to the world of Dae'mora. A world filled with magic, monsters and mayhem. For centuries, the monsters of Dae'mora have been neglected by the other inhabitants of their world, the Humans. Although there have been many outbreaks of beasts unleashing their fullest potential powers on the Humans, no army has every managed to take control of Dae'mora like the Humans have. There are 3 Nations in Dae'mora, each one serving a special purpose for the survival of the Humans. The three Human-controlled nations are Treada (ruled by King Tratus), Valera (ruled by Queen Esayal) and Haydeseu (ruled by Prince Jaspin and Princess Kulayla). Our story starts in the Captial City of Treada, Treada City, where the king is confronted by one of his servants... PROLOGUE Dale walked at a quick pace towards the chamber doors, he had to tell the king immediately what he had just heard. The Guards let him by and he swiftly trotted inside, right infront of the king. Dale bowed and removed the burgandy hood from his head revealing sharp blonde hair. "Sir... this is- I barely believed it myself but- the man... he was so... strong." Dale stuttered on each word. The king raised his hand. "Speak up boy, I'm not as young as I used to be." "It's Elade, father... Elade has awoken." said the Prince of Treada. The king, shocked, lowered his head and mumbled. "I knew this day would come. 50 years ago, when I was around your age, I imprisoned that evil being and encased his container with spells that only the Elvens and I would know. But it seems the day has come.. the prophecy is among us. We must retrieve the five Crystal Warriors and get them to collect the Crystals and defeat Elade once and for all. "I managed to escape Elade's wrath once by imprisoning him, but this time I am far too old and the Elves have retreated into hiding since Elade was put away. Send a messenger to the leaders of Haydeasu, tell them it's time to unveil the Warriors." "Yes father." said Dale. He put on his hood and briskly walked out the Chamber doors. STORY You are currently an adventurer that was summoned by the ruler of one of the three main kingdoms. The members accepted (there will be 4 members accepted) will be the ones chosen by the leaders and you will all be gathered in Treada City to start you quest to find the crystals and destroy Elade. HOW THIS WILL WORK Basically, I will choose four members to take part in my RPG, Crystal Warriors. The story will start off with the four of you just leaving Treada City and venturing into the wilderness. I will post everyonce in a while (just to spice things up a bit) where your characters are, what day it is, etc. Some posts I will give you a mission to do (for instance, I post you talking to a Generic NPC while you are in a nearby town or village and you will get a quest to venture to the Cave of Lotus. There I will give you an OOC mission breifing with your goals and we will see how things go. Sometimes it may end in a climatic battle against a dragon, other times it may involve saving a stranded peasent. Who knows? SIGN-UP Name: This would be where you state your characters full name and (if they have one) their nickname. Gender: Male or Female. Age: Let's stay between 18 and 50. History: Any important or interesting events that happened in your character's past from the day they were born up to the summoning of them. Personality: Your character's general behaviour. Let's just remember your character is a prophecy warrior out to save the world. Appearance: A typed out physical description is most appreciated, but a sketch or photo does fine aswell. Let's try and stay away from the generic anime character pictures (unless they are original fanart). Class: That's right! There are classes. Just state what class your character starts off as in our story. The Classes Knight - The generic hero warrior. This class is mainly a tank used to void damage off of other classes. Knights can use axes (one and two-handed). Fighter - Fighters are the main physical damage dealers out there. They are very muscular but swift. Fighters use hand-to-hand weapons (such as brass knuckles). Priest - The Priest is a magician trained in the arts of healing and protection. Priests don't use any weapons. Wizard - The Wizard is a magician trained in the arts of black magic and enfeebling. They use spells such as Thunder and Poison to kill their foes. Wizards carry staves to fend off enemies. Thief - The Thief is a stealthy assasin that hides in the shadows and strikes foes by surprise. Theives can use daggers. Archer - Archers are fighters that use bows. They can deal a lot of damage with their arrows but can also use some magic to deal extra damage. Summoner - The summoner is a magic-user that uses the spirits around them to summon elemental monsters to fight for them. Summoners use instruments and play songs to keep the moral of their summons up while fighting. Minstrel - A Minstrel is a force to be reckoned with. It is the inbetween of a Summoner and a Wizard, meaning a Minstril is a musician who can cause elemental damage using music. In Conclusion... I'd like to remind everyone that I won't be 'controlling' this RP. I'll just be adding in storyline throughout it. Spend a lot of time thinking about and writing your sign-up because only the best get in. Good luck to you all!
