1. Wow. I'm surprised nobody has signed up! ~~ Name: Angelica Moss Age: 21 Appearance: --Notes about Appearance: Hair color is brown with blonde tips, eye color is green and uniform is standard blue and grey. (She's wearing a "Time Cop" uniform instead of the warrior.. thing).-- Bio: Angelica was born to a young business man and a lovely housewife. She got standard education and her homelife was peaceful. She made lots of friends and was top of her class. But at the young age of 29, her mother was murdered, for reasons unknown. Her father was accused and found guilty of his wife's murder, and was sentenced to jail to await the death penalty. Angelica, determined to find the person who ruined her family, dedicated herself to her school work. This alienated her from her old friends, but led her to meet other students who had the same passion for studying as she did. Some called them nerds, but they were actually quite normal. Just smart. They were a group of 7 until some went to different universities. But Angelica and two others, Stuart and Loretta, stayed together. Angelica grew very close to Stuart and they started dating soon after they began their first year at their university. Loretta grew jealous and disappeared soon that year. From there, things only got worse. Stuart broke his back in a car accident two months after Loretta vanished. He was confined to his hospital bed. Angelica could only stand by and watch. Her foster parents' small business went bankrupt and they were forced to sell their home and get an apartment in the dismal part of town. Her grades began to slip and she nearly got kicked out of her university. She later got taken hostage in an odd crime at a bank. Luckily, she managed to fight all of the men inside and get away with nothing but a few cuts and scrapes. The police force picked her up and entered her in an expiramental program that was designed to protect the original history. She was only 19. From there, she trained for two years to become a Time Cop, and already she is one of the best. She uses her head in almost all situations. But she's still human, so emotion does get in the way at times. Her determination to be the best can get her into sticky situations, but her cooperation with teammates is a quick fix to any and all temporary "backfires". ~~ I hope I'm in.
2. OOC: Please, Spiritbreeze, do not double post. You might get the thread closed. O_O And because I didn't specify in the sign-ups (sorry ^_^;; ) I am an other. Not Kyla's friend.. yet. ^__^ ~~~ IC: "Where.. am I?" whispered a girl in a field of flowers. She sat up and looked around. "I was on the couch.. Oh. Must've fallen asleep again." But then, she thought, how could she know she was dreaming? She had never been able to before. All her dreams were flashes of past incidents or tellings of the future. But never time in themselves. "Aw, crap. I'm getting to confusing. Better quit while I'm--" the girl started. She was cut off by the laughter of a boy. "Maybe.. Someone else?" she wondered. The girl sped off in the direction of the laughter, hoping to ask him some questions. And then, she stopped. In the middle of the flowers, the sky turned black. "I remember that laughter! It was him! The guy who keeps sending me here! Oh no.. Not this nightmare.." The ground began to shake, making large cracks and crevices in the ground. "Not again!" the girl panicked, picking up her running speed again. In one direction she ran; north. She could see a star in the middle of the clouds. The North Star, she knew. Loud growls and screeches protested her escape. A rock landed before her, having been thrown by one of the monsters emerging from below the ground. But she turned to see a boy. A young boy. He looked no more than four. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "No.. Brother, no! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! It.. It was an accident, but it was all my fault! If I had been watching... If I had seen it coming.. I.. I'm so sorry! Please brother," she cried. The boy smiled and walked towards her, but the girl withdrew. She recoiled and clawed at the rock behind her, trying to escape. "I didn't mean it! I'm sorry," she continued to shout. The boy continued waddling towards her. "I'm so, so sorry.." she sobbed. More and more she sobbed, apologizing over and over again. And then, the boy touched her shoulder. The girl looked to him and her sobbing quieted. Her tear-stained face was illuminated by the sun breaking through the clouds. "It's.. It's never ended... like this.." she muttered, beginning to smile. The boy, his hand still on her shoulder, winked at her, then began to walk away. "I'm sorry.." she repeated. "I know, sister. I know. Don't worry about it. Besides, you won't have time to feel guilty about me. You have a new purpose here in the dreaming. A very, very important purpose." "You.. You talked to me..." "A very, very important purpose," he repeated, still not facing the girl. "Well, good bye Tazz. And please, be careful." With that, he turned to face her. His smiling face showing nothing but joy and forgiveness, and then so did hers. "Well, it's time you got going." "When can I come back?" "You can always come back. Now.. Take my hand, sister." Tazz nodded and grabbed the young boys hand. Everything went black. Open your eyes, Tazz... Open your eyes, she heard a voice whisper. And so she opened them. She struggled to keep them open because of the wind blowing against them. And then she realized that she was falling. But everything was still black. She raised her hand to her face, but could not see it. "It's too dark!!" she shouted. Then make it light. You know you can, the same voice whispered to her. "Fine! I will!" And with that, Tazz concentrated. She concentrated so hard she forgot she was falling. But it paid off. The darkness that surrounded her was engulfed with light. And soon, she saw some shapes below her. Tazz knew her adventure in the dreaming would be with others. "Maybe it's with them!" she thought aloud, forcing herself further downward.
3. The sound of a gate being opened was heard, followed by the sight of their pokemon running back to them. "Trapinch!" Nikki cheered, the small pokemon jumping in her arms. "You seem tamer.." she whispered to it. It nodded. Trapinch trusts me! That wasn't so hard.. she thought, petting its smooth hard shell. "Well?" Andrea asked. "Well what?" Vito responded. "Why did our pokemon come to you?" "Ah. That is simple." And then he began to explain. Though Nikki didn't care for long stories, she got the basic details of what happened. Pokemon have recently been disappearing, so Vito and his group, which he said was called the "PSA", made a machine that could summon any and all pokemon it was set to summon. "So.. you were testing it?" Jake questioned. Vito nodded. Mamimi was smiling happily next to him. She couldn't seem to take her eyes of him. They must be close, Nikki thought to herself, moving her eyes to the darkness behind them. "Pokemon Safety Association! I've got it!" Tamiko said suddenly. Andrea and Mamimi giggled, Jake smiled, and Nikki stared. "Oh.. Sorry. Just trying to figure out what 'PSA' stands for.." "You're right." All eyes turned to Vito. "You're right," he repeated. Then they all understood. "Did you send me the pokeball?" "Oh! I got one too!" Mamimi added. "Me, too!" the others added in unison. "Yes. On behalf of the PSA, me and my fellow members at this station have given you all a pokemon. We feel they will help you in your fight against the Pokemon Pirates," he explained, glancing at Kyle who, in turn, looked at the floor. "How did you know we were fighting them?" Nikki asked after the silence. "We monitor all Pokemon Pirate activity in this area from here. We send out members at different intervals to try and eliminate all PP activity. So far, all members we have sent have lost. We can't risk sending out our best trainers due to all their unfair activities during battle." "That doesn't answer my question." "Oh. I'll get to that quicker, then. The trainers we've sent have gathered data on the main PP hideouts in the area, and some of them have even left cameras that are, so far, undetectable. With these, we've learned even more about the illegal activity of our targets and seen those who travel there. Your little group happened to go into a hideout we still have surveillance in." "My that's complicated," Mamimi giggled. "In short, we saw you through some cameras a novice trainer hid in a wall." "You were monitoring my hideout?!" Kyle blurted out. They all stared at him. "Oh.. sorry.." he muttered, staring at the floor again. Mamimi bit her lip. "It's okay Kyle," Nikki said, to everyone's surprise. "It's hard to let go. I know. You'll get over your 'pirate' days quickly if you hang out with this group." "Right! You're part of us now!" Mamimi squeeled. Andrea nodded and Timiko smiled. Jake didn't look at his brother, while Nikki went off behind Vito. "Hey! Where are you going without us?" Jake chuckled, grabbing her arm. "We're a team, remember?" Andrea added, running up to her. "I wanted to know where that sound came from. The gate sound." "Oh. Right. I should show you around," Vito said, standing behind Andrea, "Boys! The lights!" And with that, the dark room lit up tremendously, temporarily blinding the group. When they could see again, they stared in awe at what was around them.
4. "Asaku!" Kitty cried. She began plummeting from her high position towards the unconcious angel. "Kitty, no! This is our chance! He'll be fine," Sakura flew between her and the ground. Kitty bit her lip. She knew Sakura was right, but after all everyone had sacrificed, she had done nothing. And now Asaku was out cold and Aida was gone. She couldn't help but blame herself. "This is my fault! But what can I do...?" she muttered suddenly. And with that, she flew off towards Orion, aiming towards his right arm. "Now what's she doing.." Sakura whispered with a worried tone. But she flew after her to resume the attack on Orion. Kitty's gem glowed a fierce blue. She placed it on her sword, making her sword grow in length and thickness. But it did not seem to slow her one bit. As she neared Orion, he tried to dodge her, but he was disabled without his leg and could only crawl. "Orion! You bastard!!" she yelled, lifting her sword. "Nice try, angel!" Orion said. Kitty ignored his bluff and shot her sword straight in his shoulder. The giant screamed in agony. "That's right! Feel that pain? Now you know how I feel!!" Then the enraged angel pulled out her sword and blew a blast of energy straight at the wound. Again he screamed, and again she attack. The barage of energy that followed blew off, not only his shoulder, but left large wounds in his upper torso. "Ha!" she shouted triumphently. Her gem returned to her hand and her sword resumed its usual shape. Then she stabbed him and blasted him repeatedly, calling for the others to follow her example. And they all did. Each attack worsened the giant's condition. His screams of agony were nearly drowned out by the sound of blade meeting flesh and shots piercing everything. The end of Orion was now in reach. The force of angels had the advantage, and chance of a comeback was close to none. He's almost finished... We've almost won! You all will be avenged.. Kitty thought, taking a look back at Aida's lonely weapons. Then she turned back to see Orion laughing. Laughing as if he didn't have a bruise on his body. "You stupid fools! Like you EVER had a chance..." "What are you talking about?" Sakura asked. "Ah.. I'll show you," he laughed.
5. Alex stared. He hadn't expected Kitzume to actually hit him. He was off-balance; his concentration was slipping. A powerful advantage for Kitzume. She continued to giggle insanely as Alex tried to remove the knife. But it was inbetween muscle. Removing it could kill him slowly. "Isn't it wonderful? Don't you just love the pain? The pain I've gone through.. this isn't nearly enough to make me forget. But it is very amusing!" "Shut up you crazy bitch! I'm going to kill you!" "Aww... Not going to let me have any fun?" She gave him a cutsey face. His temper grew worse. He tried to stand, but the knife in his thigh kept him kneeling. "Come now! You're no fun! Entertain me, old friend! This is hardly diverting," she cried. He growled, sending a few knives her direction. Each was caught by the wind. "Don't you want to feel more pain?" he asked her. "No.. I've had my fill. I believe it's your turn, isn't it? And then.. I'll go after the entire populace! The Mystic, the Crimson! All of them! They won't be able to face me! Not now.. After I've unlocked such power!" "What are you talking about?!" Alex grumbled. "Haven't you realized it? No.. I suppose you're losing your touch," Kitzume sneered, the knives still floating about her head, "Your attacks.. have let me release a source of power so great, no one can face it. Not you, not Yutarin, not anyone! The entire Crimson and Mystic forces together could not beat me now!" "What do you mean? What are you planning?" "Must I spell it out? I've told you. I'm going to kill everyone. Everyone and anyone! They'll all die!!" Her laughing continued. It sent shivers down Alex's spine. She was almost completely cracked. Almost completely gone. Kitzume quieted abruptly. Her expression changed from glee to utter cruelty. "Alex... It's your turn, now." She disappeared for a moment, then reappeared face-to-face with Alex. "Good-bye," she whispered as several knives pierced his stomach and chest. Blood began to drip out of his mouth as his eyes began to fog. "You are warned. If you survive this, you will not survive your final encounter with me. If you don't die now, stay away from me. Do not show your face in my presence ever again. Ever. Ever.." "You...." Alex whispered, spitting up a bit of crimson blood, ".. bitch... I-I'll see you (gack)... again. Very.... very... soon..." And with that, he passed out. Kitzume left him there to die, though she hoped he'd survive. She hadn't pierced his heart. But the amount of blood loss he was suffering could kill him. She shook her head. Now was not the time to worry about a victim. Now was the time to find Yutarin, then kill the remaining survivors of Mystic and Crimson. She took off in the air and sped away. "It begins now... The final fight draws near..." Kitzume muttered. Her demented smile reappearing on her bloody face. She heard a soft voice coming from her right. She turned and saw a cloud flying along side her. The cloud took the shape of a person. A young man. "Destroy... the sword..." the voice moaned. And then the shape, the cloud, the sound disappeared. Kitzume nodded, knowing what it meant. She sped up, not wanting to waste time.
6.
I can't vouch for the others, but satin is real. Real, soft and smooth.
Damn it. You know I meant the devil. Critizing my spelling is irritating...
You have a better chance of being saved than they do.
And what does this mean? Saved from what I wonder? Do you mean I have a better chance to reunite with Jesus? Jesus was a man that got himself killed by claiming to be the son of God. Since I don't think God exists, I don't think he could POSSIBLY have been the son of God. Him coming back to life didn't happen, either. As I've said, when he died, he'd rot in his grave. Jesus is dead. Long dead.
7.
I was standing infront of my mirror after getting ina fight with my mom and dad about school and my grades and **** and they were black, than they SLOWLY turned downt the color factor and retuned to a dark blue than as I calmed down more and more they turned back to normal blue
I'll bet your cheeks turned from a bright red to their regular color, too, huh? It's the blood. You SAID that it wasn't, but where's your proof? What do you know that can support your claim? Nothing that you've shown us. Your eyes only APPEAR to change color. They do not actually change color. It's not that hard to understand or accept, really.
8. Frankly, I don't believe in God, Satin, or angels. And especially not what saints say about God. Those who "talk" to God, really, they're just insane. Call me stupid and irrational, but I need evidence. Proof. When we die, we rot in our graves. Our conciousness disappears and never comes back. You live one life. That's all you get. You don't talk to God, you talk to yourself. Your own dependance on believing that there is someone that started all this, that there was never nothingness where you're standing (or sitting) this moment, is what makes you "hear" Him. Your belief in His existance makes you feel like you know he's there. He isn't really there. But, then again, that's just my opinion. Me being an athiest, I've come to hate most God believers for getting so much **** about what I've chosen to believe. That's also why I'm in a personal war with my own mother. Religion is basically ********, lies to make us feel better. Nothing more. Nothing less. I wait to see how people respond to my above text. Or rather, I wait to get bashed.
9. Since I've read the past five pages, I'm not going to say that I believe that eye color changes temporarily (though I never did). My eyes do APPEAR to change color, but only with the weather. My moods usually just scare people away, and I'm not the type to look in the mirror constantly, so I don't know if they change with my moods.. though I doubt it. Cloudy days make my eyes a silver color, which scares the crap outta people for some reason. Sunny days, my eyes are their "original" color; misty greenish blue. Rainy days, my eyes turn purple or deep blue. Strange how that works, eh? But yeah, I still think that weather and light have to do with it. .. Yeah. P.S. DW, you smarty pants. >=^O
10. OOC: Well, since this is in Japan, I'll just let my characters speak in translated English. I don't want to take the time to type it up in Japanese (even if I know some). IC: "Thank you. I'll make sure no one can trace me to you," Etemaii smiled. The small old man before him nodded and went back inside. The God laughed to himself. "How fun this mortal plain has been. How fun it will be." He continued to laugh as he walked out into the street. It was a considerablly poor day. It was raining hard, and lightning flashed while thunder boomed. But he couldn't help but laugh. The people around him all stared at him as they walked by. A small child, who looked about 5 years old, giggled while holding her balloon and said, "Look'it the crazy man, mommy! Look'it him laff!" "Happy for you to notice, my dear!" he smiled back. The young girl's mother, disgusted and practically afraid of the strange acting man before her, pulled her daughter's hand close and dragged her away quickly. "I'm not that bad, Julie! Honest!" Etemaii yelled after her. Julie was a young waitress he had run into before. She recognized him. The rain poured harder. It was coming down so fast he could've sworn it was hail that fell from the sky. "If I don't find refuge," he muttered to himself, "I might get a serious dent in my head." He walked by a coffee shop, but recognized the faces of, not one, not two, but three of his fellow dieties. He paused, mouth agape, then ran on. Running into other gods and goddesses THIS early would be "inconvienient". Damn, that was close. How could they have all gathered there? Was it on purpose? Are some of them all ready grouping..? No.. It could not be. One of them was, of course, Astaroth. He would not be plotting with the Goddesses of Wind and Earth.. No. It must have been coincidence... Since that coffee shop was now out of the question (for the time being), Etemaii stumbled upon a local bar. "Oooh... Looks fun." Upon entering, a beer bottle hit the wall next to his head. "Who.... aarre YoouU?" a drunken man staggered over. Etemaii's cheerful... and somewhat disturbing fronting personality disappeared as the man neared. He growled as the man touched his shirt. "I.. I'll ask ya agaaiiiin.. Pally! Whooo..oo...--" "Am I? I'll tell you who I am. I am the one that will leave you dead in an ally. I am the one that will eat your flesh and dine on your heart and lungs and mind. I am the one that will dispose of your very soul, piece by piece until all that's left is your simple shell." The bar went silent. "MMmmkay.. Youuu canna come i- HIC- in..." Etemaii walked over to the bartender who, awkwardly, pulled out a glass and smiled. "What'll ya have?" "Water." "Water? Boy, for someone as.. Um.. Right." The bartender didn't finish his thought when he saw the way Etemaii stared at him. The young man sitting across from Etemaii watched him. He watched until Etemaii asked why he was watching him. "You're different." Etemaii's eyebrows raised. He knew that this boy could not have discovered him. Not yet. "You aren't like the other trash that comes in here. You got a more.. 'respectable' stature. What are ya? A business man? Politician?" "To some extent, young man. What's your name?" "Adam." "Well, Adam, care to chat?" he asked, a devilish smile spreading across his face. "Sure." "Then come. Take a walk with me..." ~ ~ ".. And THEN he says... Hey, Nikki? You listening?" "Hmm? Oh, oh yes. Your friend tells you..?" "Yeah. He tells me.." Cliff continued to talk while Nilelea drifted off into thought. She recognized the presences of the "others" in the small coffee shop. The God of Darkness and Goddess of Earth. Why they were there, she didn't know. But she knew they weren't there for her. They ran into eachother on accident. A mere coincidence. ".. Isn't that hilarious?!" Cliff finished. Nilelea smiled, then laughed a shallow laugh. But it was enough to satisfy Cliff. "So. What now?" "I'm not sure. The storm has not let up, and I'm sure walking home would be bad for you since, oddly, you have no umbrella." "You don't have one either, Nikki," Cliff pointed out. "Yes, I know. But it does not bother me as it seems to bother you." "Hey! Are you saying I don't like the rain?" "No. I'm just saying it was YOU that dragged us into the coffee shop. I would have been fine to explore more without finding shelter." "Yeah, I guess you're right. About the first thing. I think walking through this storm would've bugged you eventually." They fell silent. "Cliff?" "Yeah, Nikki?" "What do you do?" Cliff stared, a bit startled. "Oh.. Oh! Of course! I can't believe I didn't tell you sooner," he chuckled. "Well, I don't work.. Much. I get part-time jobs, but mostly, I'm taking classes." "Classes?" "Yeah, down at the local college. Why, you interested?" "Sure." "Okay, then! When the rain lets up, we'll check it out." Nilelea nodded. "Will you excuse me for a sec?" "Um.. sure," she said, not sure why he was leaving so suddenly. "'Kay. Be right back," he muttered, running off. Oh. Restroom. But this was her chance. Her chance to converse with another goddess. The first time in her time on Earth. She walked over to Droana and said hello. "Ah, hello, Wind Goddess," she said, offering her a seat. "Isn't it a bit strange for such formalities here?" Nilelea chuckled. "I suppose you're right." "What brings you here? To this coffee shop, I mean." "The rain, isn't it obvious? Isn't that why you're here? Or is it the mortal?" "Both, I suppose. He dragged me here when our arguement was interrupted." "I see." They were silent. "Have you noticed the third presence?" "Ah.. The God of Darkness, over there in the corner?" Nilelea nodded. "Shall we say hello?" Droana smiled.

12. OOC: Finish me off?! That's not what I planned.. ---- IC: Alex fell to the ground, but he didn't seem to mind it at all. That same wicked grin spread across his devious face. The knife was still spinning madly in its place, still making that unbearable sound. Kitzume made a grab for it, but it slashed through her hand, leaving one large gash in her hand. "HA HA HA!" she heard coming from Alex. She turned to him, a blank expression on her face. "I can't believe you did something that stupid!" "It stopped the sound, didn't it?" she commented, her expression unchanged. His smile flickered for a moment when he realized that she was right, but he still grinned malevolently. "The sound was not that important.." he chuckled quietly. Suddenly, the blade charged at Kitzume. She jumped out of the way easily, even without the aid of her abilities. But she was not as foolish as she had once been. She drew her sword, her eyes following the nearly invisible blade. "You cannot deflect it, you idiot! You may look adult, but you still act like a little girl! You think like a little girl! Full of dreams. Full of hope. Full of life... All that will be taken away," he laughed hysterically, lunging at her from behind. He was blown back by a gust of wind. "Not right now," she mumbled, still glued to the knife. It was spinning and turning and going up and down, left and right, in and out. Everywhere it went, it seemed. It was trying to lose Kitzume's gaze as to sneak up on her. To wound her. To kill her. Then poof! It was gone. Kitzume's eyes spun around violently, trying desperatly to catch sight of it again. She lucked out. Looking towards the moon after some clouds had passed by, she saw it. Shadowed by the moon's light, she saw it diving at her from above. She managed to dodge just in time. But this time, she could not brace herself from Alex. She hadn't heard him coming. "Ah!" she shouted, stumbling away. He had stabbed her in the left arm, leaving the knife in her. "Ahh..." she whispered, preparing to pull it out. As she did, she screamed. The loudest she had in a long, long time. "That.. hurt. Haha... It was horribly painful! Hahaha.. And my blood! It's flooding faster than it has ever before!" She began to laugh hysterically. Kitzume was beginning to cave. Beginning to give in to the insanity that slept inside. "Come here! Attack me again!" she cried. "I want to feel that pain some more!" "You want me to kill you?! No problem. No problem at all!" Alex nearly squeeled in glee. He pulled out another knife and threw it. It went into her right thigh. She kneeled down slowly and pulled it out, again crying out in pain as the blade emerged from deep within her own flesh. Again, she laughed as the blood pooled out. "Hahaha... I've never.. ever felt this kind of pain. It's... it's soothing, in a way. I no longer feel only cold," she told him. Then the flying blade zoomed in towards her again. This time, she grabbed it, mid-flight. She took it in her own bloody hand and jabbed it into her other thigh. "Ha! You'll kill yourself at THIS rate!" Alex laughed. They were both laughing. At her pain. At themselves. They were like old pals at a reunion. But it was a different kind of reunion. Suddenly, she took the knives around her and flung them back at Alex. One managed to graze his shoulder, the other totally missing, and the third enchanted one going straight through his left leg. "Ha.. ha.. hahahaa.... haha.. Feel what I feel! Isn't it glorious?!" she laughed. "I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!" OOC: Ooh.. She's going insane. >_
13. "Home, sweet home," Etemaii chuckled, staring at a large two-story house just outside of a large city. It was on a mountain side at the end of a long, winding path. He could keep an eye for anything interesting from where he was stationed. He breathed in the city's smog, then laughed as he walked inside. "Now, to check it out." The inside was very unkept, dusty, and the furniture was all over the place. That was just the enterance. The kitchen had broken glass and knives all over the floor. The counters were home to mounds of dirt and rotton food. The refridgerator hummed in a low buzzing sound. There was nothing in it. The living room had broken picture frames and ripped couches. It even had a fold out chair on its side. The fireplace was filled with dust and what looked like a pair of dead rats. Etemaii didn't bother looking in the bathrooms or lounge. He walked up the old, creaking stairs instead, wanting to know what his bedroom was like. When he walked in, he smiled wide. It was just like his old room. It reaked of crumbled buildings and oil. His bed looked like a bunch of rocks sticking out of a tree; earthquakes like those he only made in the olden days, when Earth was new. "Ahh.. How I miss those times.." he whispered, jumping onto the bed. He knew there were more rooms to explore, but he didn't bother. "I'll look at 'em later. Oh! I almost forgot.." he snickered, looking over to his desk, ".. my oodles of cash." On the greyish desk were four large sacks, obviously full of money. "Thank you, my assistant, Ichicko. This money will be put to good use." ~ ~ Nilelea walked down the sidewalk after briefly endulging herself in the tour of her new home. It was small, but suitable. She had left everything but a jacket and some randomly picked clothes. It was raining. She had no umbrella, but she didn't care. She descretly used her power over the wind to keep the rain fall around her, not on her. Nobody noticed. How ignorant humans are. Oh well. The more oblivious to those in their midst they are, the easier it is for me, Nilelea thought to herself. Suddenly, a young man, who looked in his mid-twenties, bumped into her. "Oh, sorry," he mumbled, standing infront of her. His umbrella was close to flooding onto her clothes. "Watch it, foolish.." she trailed off. To call someone a 'mortal' was a stupid mistake that could blow her cover, but it would be easy to make at first. Hell, she hadn't been there for more than an hour or two. He looked at her strangly. "Foolish what? .. You talk weird, lady." "Shut it.. jerk. You don't have any respect." "You talk like my grandmother. Always blabbing about how I don't respect people of age. But you don't look old, 'young lady'," he added sarcastically. "Must I beat the shit out of you for you to understand?" she said calmly. "Look, I don't know what your problem is, but--" He was cut off by the loud pounding of thunder. Raiu must be having fun right now. Wonder why he's making such a commotion. And I wonder why Hydraia made it rain so heavily... Nilelea wondered. "Should we continue this inside?" "Continue? What?" "This.. discussion. I don't know," the boy said, scratching his head. The thunder rang out loudly again, and a sudden streak of lightning lit up the sky. Maybe they're bored. Like I am. Maybe I can create some tornadoes when I finish talking with this boy. "Dang that's loud. Come on, let's go inside. The best coffee shop in town is only a few stores up," he told her, dragging her after him. "Hey!" she protested, but still, she followed. Inside, they grabbed a table. "You want anything.. uh.. Hey! We haven't properly introduced ourselves. Hi. I'm Cliff." "Ni-... Nicole. Call me Nikki.. uh, Clilff." "Well Nikki, want anything to eat? They have bagels here, along with coffee." "No, I'm fine Cliff." He looked at her quizzically. "Okay. So.. Oh yeah. What were you gonna call me? A foolish what?" Nilelea paused. She stared at him. Her piercing hazel eyes examined him. Interesting. There is nothing special about him. Nothing at all. And yet, here I am. The wind goddess sitting in a coffee shop with this boy while outside a storm rages. I'm still not sure why. Uncomfortable, Cliff let out a cough and looked at the wall. "Uh... Well?" "Hmm?" "A foolish what?" "Oh. I was going to call you a foolish ass, but I thought stupid jerk was more.. polite. To get my point across, you know." He nodded, laughing with relief. Then he got up to get himself a coffee, once again offering to get her something. "Sure. Get me a.. plain bagel. Nothing on it." He nodded, smiling, then stood in the short line. She watched him. He was beginning to wonder why he had dragged Nilelea, or Nikki, along. He looked back at her, but quickly averted his gaze as he saw her looking back. How odd these humans act. Especially this boy. I wonder why.. The thunder boomed outside in the flurry of rain and streaks of light pouring from the dark sky above. Some of the children with their mothers in the coffee shop shrieked when the thunder pounded. Others were glued to the large glass walls, watching everything swirl around. At least children appreciate the Gods' and Goddesses' work. The adults see it as nothing more than a pain. At that thought, Cliff returned with his steaming coffee and her bagel. "Mm.. Smells good," he muttered. He smiled at her as she picked a small piece of her bagel off and chewed on it timidly. "You look like a squirrel," he chuckled. "A squirrel?" Nilelea asked, staring at him with disappointment. "Well, the way you eat. It's just silly, that's all. No big deal, really," he reassured her, staring at the floor. OOC: Wow.. Not much for poor Etemaii. Oh well. Oh, and I just felt like making it a rainy, stormy day. ^__^
14. "Damn.." Nikki muttered. The "incident" at the hot springs earlier had given her a jump, and she had been in a really bad mood since. She lay in her bed, a comic book open in front of her, and her pokemon (aside from Trapinch) sleeping at her heels. She looked over to one of the chairs in her room to see her kimono slung over it. Taunting her like everything else, it seemed. The kimono was nice. Not at all what Nikki enjoyed wearing. But nice. Yellow didn't suit her, either. She prefered blue, black, or red. But she got stuck with yellow. She hadn't shown any disappointment, though. She didn't want to be rude to Mamimi's mom. And the dragon pattern wasn't bad either. Dragon pokemon were a favorite of hers, even though she collected other types. And the idea of Kyle around pissed her off most of all. How could anyone trust him? She certainly didn't. Nikki didn't care if people knew it or not. But since she had kept quiet, not many noticed. The whole group didn't notice. Suddenly, she began to feel alone and useless. Unimportant and unwanted. Nothing. Just like at home. "Why am I still here?" Nikki asked herself quietly. "Why the hell do I stay...?" A knock at her door interrupted her thinking. "Who is it?" They didn't answer. "Stupid jerks... I'll bet I'm the only on--" The knocking started again. "What do you want?!" she shouted, walking up to her door. She unlocked it and opened it violently, prepared to give whoever it was a beating. But it was a basket. A basket containing a pokeball and a piece of paper. "What the hell..?" Nikki started, leaning down to pick it up. On the small slip of paper was instructions. "'Open at midnight'?" She laughed, throwing the now empty basket into the hallway and crinkling up the paper and dropping it in front of her. She shut the door behind her and resumed her comic book, leaving the pokeball on the bed-side table. I wonder if anyone else got one.
15. Yutarin flashed a grin, then turned to leave. But before he did, he hesitated. "Why are you waiting, exactly?" he asked, turning his head to Kitzume. "Alex is coming to 'meet' with me. It won't take long." He nodded. "I see. I was going to ask if you would accompany me, but I see you still have a little business. Very well. I shall return when I am finished. Hopefully you'll be done then." "Of course I will. I'm the one that will end up waiting, remember?" He laughed, then jumped off into the darkness of the streets. Kitzume took one final look in the direction Yutarin had left in, then turned back to the way she knew Alex was coming. "Always waiting," she muttered again. The wait was long. Alex had obviously walked, though why was beyond Kitzume. While waiting, she began to hum a song. It was a calming tune, and one she knew very well. In her only memory of her parents, she remembered sitting in the back of a small car, her parents in the front, and the radio on. She could only see the sky out the window; the land around was very flat and low. But the tune was upbeat, happy and warm. Atop the building, the tune kept Kitzume entertained and cheerful in the dull, dim reality. -- I'm close now. I can smell your fear in the air. -- "What a pitiful liar," she laughed, "it's either his fear, or the fear of young Mystic and Crimson in the area." After another twenty minutes or so, Kitzume saw him. "Finally here. Good. I was tired of waiting." She stood up and leaned over the side, watching as her opponent neared.
16. "Sakura..?!" Kitty heard Asaku mutter. But she didn't do anything. She floated and stared, flooded with amazement and devastation. Aida was gone. Two feathers and some rock were all that was left of him. The angels around the destressed angels all began to grasp what they had to do. They all shone a brilliant light, a different color for each of them. They matured in seconds with the aid of the mysterious bright rays. But Kitty did not budge. Her eyes were glued to the stone with Aida's symbols. The angels all shouted encouraging words to each other and spiteful jests towards Orion. "You're time's up Orion! You will not plague this world ever again!" "Face the facts, Orion. You're dead meat." "The last thing you'll see is my sword in your heart, bastard!" Asaku looked worriedly at Kitty. "Why haven't you transformed, Kitty? Come on, we need you to take down Orion. Each one of us is needed." "Well, we're an angel short." Asaku paused. "I know... I-.." He let out a sigh. "Orion..." Kitty suddenly shouted, lifting her head and pointing her sword at the giant menace in front of her. "You have taken the life of a dear friend and fellow angel. For this, I cannot forgive you, nor would I have anyway. But this recent crime will gain you no mercy. You will die today.. and by my sword!" Now a light engulfed Kitty. It carressed her figure and warmed those around her. Two more pairs of wings sprouted from her back, and smaller wings sprouted from her boots. Her hair now flooded out of its ponytail and waved wildly in the air. And her sword grew in length. As the light disperssed, Kitty floated majestically beside her fellow angels. The look of all the transformed angels was intimidating, even frightening. Orion stepped back a bit, showing his cowardice. "Now coward! You die!" they all shouted, speeding towards him in the air. I'll make you pay, you evil bastard... For Aida, for my imprisonment, for Lilyana.. for everything! I'll make sure you experience the worst pain imaginable before we finally destroy your soul! Kitty's eyes glowed with rage, and yet, with a powerful grace as she closed in on the ultimate foe.
17. Kitzume sat on an air vent atop a small apartment building. "Waiting." Always waiting. Before using the wind to leave Alex, she noticed Yutarin. He did nothing to stop Alex, nor to help Alex. "He might still be a Dead Moon." Ivan and Alex are gone. Ivan to the Mystic, Alex to some "brother" he keeps chanting about.. This is fucking ridiculous. It wasn't supposed to be confusing, Kitzume thought quietly. -- I'm coming to kill you. I know where you are. I'll be there soon. -- The flash of 'Alex's' thought came rushing into Kitzume's tranquil mind. "Waiting." Still, she sat upon the air vent atop the vacant apartment building. Still she waited. But instead of Alex showing up first, a shape was seen flying at her. It took her a moment to see the wings, but once she noticed them, she knew who it was. "Yutarin.... Are you still dedicated? Or are you just trying to kill me, too?" The shape of Yutarin grew and grew as he flew nearer, Kitzume still not sure why. "Always, always waiting." OOC: Okay, I posted. Now YOU post CJS.
18. Kitty let out a small gasp when Takahiro was revealed as part-demon. There's too much I don't know about... everyone. As she thought, Takahiro defeated his brother; rather quickly, too. "Now... It's your turn, Orion...." Takahiro growled. Finally! I'm gonna kill that bastard.. she thought eagerly, her eyes turning from Takahiro to the giant demon before them. But she knew he was too strong for her alone. Her sword in her fist and Asaku at her side, a sudden swarm of energy surged through the area as she summonded her gem. "Ha! I knew it would work!" she muttered, clenching her gem in her fist. "Orion you bastard!" she heard Sakura shout. "Get ready, pal. You die today," Kitty commented, glaring at him. Before she took off towards him, she felt a hand grip hers. She turned her head to see Asaku smiling. "Promise me something," he said quietly. "And what's that?" she said in a sarcastic, non-caring tone. "Don't get yourself hurt." She paused for a moment, then kissed him passionately. "I promise," she whispered in his ear, her tone changing to sincerity. She smiled then turned back towards Orion. "Let's go!" Sakura shouted to the angels. They all nodded, then bolted into the air at Orion.
19. Etemaii laughed suddenly as one of the goddesses walked by him. Ichicko stood by his side quietly, a little startled by the god's sudden behavior. "Uh.. sir?" the demi-god asked shakily. "What is it?" he suddenly snapped, annoyed by the interupption. "May I ask what has amused you so?" "No, but you did anyway." "My apologies." "No matter. But I've done this before. Haven't you noticed?" "Yes, sir. I still don't understand it, though." Etemaii laughed again, now at Ichicko. "Pitiful. I'm surprised at myself for leaving you in charge." The boys face lit up. Being a bigger part of the council, even if it meant being a stand-in, was exciting for him. The desire for power drove him to become so anxious. "Really sir? Do you mean it?" "Yeah, yeah. No joke this time." "I won't let you down!" he practically squeeled. "Calm down, Ichicko. You'll embarrass me." The perfectly smooth floor shook suddenly as Etemaii disappeared, leaving the demi-god to himself. ~ ~ "Nilelea! Nilelea! Have you heard the news?" shouted Helliki, who ran excitedly towards the goddess. "Of course I heard the news. I attended the council meeting, unlike you." At this, the young girl stopped before her, quietly looking at the ground. "Where were you?" she asked after a pause. "I had a... a problem with mother." Helliki still did not return Nilelea's gaze. "Your mother? Isn't she dead yet?" she said passively, walking into her room. Helliki followed, surprised by Nilelea's lack of caring. "No, she isn't dead!" she protested, "And in fact, she's doing just fine now!" "Then what was the problem?" "Th- ... hmm.." She didn't answer. "Back to the news?" "Yes, of course ma'am. Who will be your stand-in during your year on Earth?" "You." "Me?" "Yes. You. I trust you." The young girl gasped, then began to grin widely. Not many had earned the Wind Goddess's trust. This was a great responsibilty for her, and she knew she had better not dissappoint her. "I am truly honored. I shall not let you down," she said in a calm tone, gracefully masking her glee. "Alright then. I'll see you in a year. Good luck." She disappeared in a gust of wind, the clouds on her walls swirling around.
20. Frantically, she thought it over in her head. The moment I've dreaded.. she thought stepping out of Asaku's embrace. Tears filled her eyes as she looked at him. Then she looked to the floor, tears dripping from her face. "Kitty, I..." Asaku started. "Forgive me.." she whispered. Then, looking at Aida, her tears flowing harder now. The thoughts of her and Aida having fun and fooling around flooded through her head, soon followed by memories of her strolling down the sidewalks with him. Then memories of her pushing Asaku around back at the high school and at the dorm surrounded her. She sighed deeply, still looking at Aida. She walked to him and kissed him slowly. "I'm sorry, Aida." And that was it. She walked back to Asaku and stood before him. "Asaku?" "Yeah, Kitty?" he asked. "I love you. I have.. for a long time. Stupid me, couldn't come out and say anything.." She stood quietly waiting for his reaction, her tears finally slowing.
21. OOC: Sandwich!? You make me hungry.... -___- ---- IC: --Dream-- 'Alex's' knives flew every-which-way, trying to locate the missing Kitzume. The monsters wandered around, trying to catch scent of her. But no luck. Still, they continued searching, though success was unlikely. ~ Kitzume fell from the darkness, her surroundings getting slowly brighter. As she fell, the wind blew past her, calming her. The way it felt reenergized her a bit. She shut her eyes again, and began to fall deeper and deeper into the light. --End Dream-- Kitzume woke with a start, coughing a bit at the sudden rush. Alex was beside her, and he too came to suddenly. "What the hell?!" he spat, seeing the real cement and the real Kitzume. "How did you wake up?! You shouldn't have any energy left!" She sat and thought for a bit. "I don't know. All I remember is falling. I'm not sure how I got out of your stupid abyss, though." He glared at her. She had escaped death for the last time. He was going to kill her, even if it meant strangling her with his own hands. As he lunged forward, she dodged with ease, her energy slowly coming back. "You bastard... Invading my own head and expecting to kill me? What an idiot..." "How did you--!?" "Our minds are still connected. You didn't fully leave when I awoke. I can still hear your thoughts," she said gleefully. 'Alex' clenched his teeth. "Ready to die?" she asked him. "I'm going to be the one doing the killing you stupid bitch," he said, pulling out a knife and throwing it at her. Normally, it would have hit her dead on, right in her heart where it was aimed. But she grabbed it. With her own hand, she grabbed it from mid-air. Blood dripped down the knife as she floated menacingly in front of him. "One, sure. I'll give you that one. But how can you grab.. all THESE?!" he cackled, throwing out a barage of knives, locked onto their target. But they froze in mid air. "You're pitiful psychic powers can't match the wind. I know what I have to do, you bastard. I know that if I have to, I can kill you and I will be the one to kill you." She disappeared again. Into the wind. The knives fell to the ground as 'Alex' stood quietly. "I know where you went, Kitzume... I'll track you down and kill you tonight.." He did not worry about her threats. They were nothing. 22. OOC: Apologies, Captain Jack Sparrow, but I would like for you to edit your post. Nothing personal. (But I do consider you a human being. >_< ) --- IC: --Dream-- ::No more games. No more. This ends now.:: Kitzume jumped at the face in the sky, not getting close at all. As she fell back down towards the ground, the face laughed at her. A demented laugh, pointless and cruel. "You will die you stupid bitch. No more games? Fine. I'll just rip you to shreds." "Easier said than done, old friend. Easier said than done.." As he commanded the monsters to attack, Kitzume disappeared again. But this time, there was no trace of her. No voice, no breath, no nothing. She was gone. 'Alex' wondered for a moment, not quite sure what to make of the situation. As he thought, he explained aloud. "She's not a psychic.. so she didn't transfer to another body. She can't have woken up; I'd be awake, too.. No one would have rescued her. Why would they?" He was left in thought, losing precious time. Suddenly, the old woman popped up, staring around wildly. Alex was startled by the sudden appearance. "You again?" he said quietly, pulling out a knife. But before he could throw it, she disappeared, a middle aged woman taking her place. "Who the..?" Again, as quickly as she had appeared, she disappeared, being replaced by a young boy. Next was the business man, holding the brown suitcase. On and on it went, people from Kitzume's memory being cycled through the dark abyss 'Alex' had created. Alex grew angry as this continued. "How can such a stupid mind be so confusing?!" he asked himself, irritated. The more that went by, the faster they went by. Some were visible for merely a second. But as they began to near the end of Kitzume's "list", they slowed again. The second to last person was Kody, who laughed and pointed at the monsters. But as he disappeared, the last memory was of Alex. Alex stood face to face with Kitzume's memory of him. "Me?" the appirition asked. It walked over to 'Alex' and stared him in the face. "Hm... Not quite. Something's different." "Hello brother," 'Alex' muttered. "Brother?" it asked. Being of Kitzume's memory and Kitzume knowing nothing of Alex's brother, it had no idea of what he was talking about. --
23. --Dream-- Kitzume stood steady, growing angry. The younger Kitzume had dragged the boy away from the two and into the house where the old woman tended to him. She stared out the window in awe and fright. ::What an idiot. This is my head, and I can do whatever the fuck I want,:: Kitzume thought to herself, concentrating hard. As she concentrated, their surroundings twisted and swirled together, changing rapidly. The calm fall woods turned into a dark, damp place, surrounded by fog. Kitzume dissolved into the area, leaving an alert Alex, looking around. "Where'd you go? You're not the kind of person that would hide.. are you?" he snickered. He was hit by a sudden streak of lightning, sending him feet in the air and leaving his hair a bit frazzled. He stood up slowly, using his hand to flatten out his hair. "Frightened, aren't you? Attacking me like this." He was attempting to get her angry, but she was not willing to play any more of his games. "Call me what you like. As long as the result is your death, any method will do," she explained calmly, a blast of wind flying Alex across the damp cement. The sound of deep growling filled the air. A pack of six or seven large monsters appeared, black and furry with large shiny teeth, their heads resembling that of a big cat's. "Tear him to pieces," Kitzume's voice pounded through the air. Alex chuckled as the monsters closed in on him. --
24. --Dream-- A young Kitzume ran through the streets, barefoot and bleeding, chasing after a man with no face. He wore a hat, and was walking away swiftly, holding a large brown bag. "Stop! Come back with that! It's mine.." she shouts, but the man ignores her. She stops in the street, too tired to continue persuing the man. "Please! Please! Somebody stop him! He's got my--" "Ignore the girl!" "She's a menace." "What a stupid little lie," the people all shout at her. They close in on her, a scared little girl with tears running down her face wanting nothing more than what was taken from her. ~ Kitzume lies on a small bed, a bit older and her feet hanging off one end. She awakes to the smiling face of an old woman. "Where...?" she begins, holding her throbbing head. "Oh my! Dear, she's awoken!" the old woman giggles, running into the kitchen. She returns with a young boy, barely sixteen, the same age as Kitzume. "Well.. Can you tell what her name is?" the old woman asks, staring wide eyed at the boy. "Kitzume.." "You're a psychic." "Quick one, aren't you?" the boy adds, laughing. "What's your name and why am I here?" she persists. "I'm Kody, and this is my grandmother. Giddy little twit, isn't she?" he jokes, getting hit upside the head by the blushing old woman. "Why am I here?" Kitzume asks. "You tell me. We stumbled upon ya, unconcious in the woods where we- well, I- chop down trees for firewood. Your memory's too guarded. You won't let me in," Kody answers. She gets up to leave, but is stopped by the old woman. "Look, lady," she begins, but the woman shushes her and shoves her back down on the bed. "I'm going to leave you too alone, but don't you be gettin' up, see?" the old woman says, pointing at Kitzume. Kody agrees but Kitzume merely sits there. She leaves them and goes to the upstairs, the noise of her feet quickly disappearing. "Well now. Care to tell me what happened?" Kody chuckles, only recieving a glare from Kitzume. --End Dream-- Kitzume lay unconcious on the cold, hard ground, dreaming of past experiences and breathing slowly. The wind moved with each breath, going forwards, then backwards. Forwards, then backwards. The breeze was gentle and calming, even a little carressing. But she had been lucky. The blast had merely blown her onto another area of cement. Sprawled out on the ground, she was at the mercy of her enemies, and was unaware of danger.
25. OOC: Oops, sorry. ^_^;; ---- If the wind cries in pain and sorrow, it makes it all the more easier, Kitzume thought. The more she thought, the higher she flew and the stronger the wind blew through her madly waving hair. She wasn't sure what suddenely coursed through her. All she knew was that it was a great tool to destroy the stupid city she had been stuck in. To destroy her stupid small apartment, her stupid job, her stupid relatives and old friends that had recently betrayed her. Everything was to be destroyed. "This city.. this state.. this country, this continent, this planet! All of it will go. I can't stand it! All of it MUST go!" she shrieked. Her sudden burst of disgust with the planet created a sudden explosion of power. The lightning came down in a feriocious light show, destroying streets and buildings. The wind howled with anger and pain, and it all came from Kitzume. The wind took her emotions and used it to become as fierce as it had. And all of it was at her every whim. She commanded it to do so, and so it did. "Kill him.. now.." she whispered. Sefir braced for her attack, and even so, when the wind struck him, it blew him back a few feet in the air. But still he pressed on. "You can't destroy this planet! Surely you care for something! As I do.. As we all do!" he shouted through the thunder. "I have nothing left. Nothing good left, anyway.." The wind pierced Sefir's cheek, dripping a little blood. He placed his hand on it, then pulled it to his face as he examined it. His stance steadied and again he braced for Kitzume's next attack.
