I'm a year younger than all my classmates, and I was the first one to hit puberty (in grade five). I was the second-tallest in the class for three years, until everybody else started to grow. *shrug* I have a good number of school-chums who are quite short (think Naruto's height XP), but it's unlike they manage to go unnoticed. As long as you have a few classmates to be chummy with, you really don't have any reason to care about any of that. (Maybe my attending a school that is 80% Asian has sort of made the "problem" of shortness a little less...relevent. There are maybe thirty guys who are over 5'8" in a school of 650. Our basketball team is pretty good, incidentally... : ) ) I'm currently 5'6" and have stopped growing.

Hmm...a thread like this. Never thought they'd leave one of these open. Ah well, I guess I'll join the fun. I don't remember exactly when this name came about--all I know is I used to be a major DB/Z buff (GT still equals sacrelige, btw.^_~) and I quite like it. My favourite characters were Goten and Videl: hense, Godel. : / I deeply apologize if any one was expecting any kind of exciting story. : ( Come to think of it, I am "Godelsensei" on OB. People say they want to learn from me, whatever in Hell's name that means. I just thought I'd stick it on for fun...(if you don't know the real story, you don't need to._ _U It always makes me feel like an ***.) So, everywhere I go, I am Godel. Unless it's already taken, in which case I will be Xeh of some form or another, or Xanaphia. It wasn't until a year ago that I learned of Kurt Godel. I think I may read up on what it was, exactly, that he did. Some day. : )

Hey, Chicken Man, that was my sig.^^ It's "My karma ran over your dogma." unless, of course, some one else had your version in their signiature. : ) "I will consider some one to be superior to myself when they are able to cause objects to combust by merely looking at them dissaprovingly." I hate to sound egotistical, but I love this quote. (That means it came from me.^_~) I'm actually quoted on this quite frequently: several of my friends have used it as an online name.: / I mean, it's true, though. Right? (At least it should be--we're all people here.) "Nothing lessens the relivance of an epidemic more than being in the middle of it." - I have no idea >

What I wish to say has already been stated in a number of ways. How can any one possibly see any benefites from hazing? If you're planning on weeding out the weak, wouldn't it be a better idea to see what they suck at in a situation where it actually has some degree of relevence? If the new guy doesn't want to get covered in ****, does that mean he's going to be a total shitface on the field? I don't see the connection between the two points. The idea here seems to be "OKAY! Let's find all the players who are smart and self-respecting enough to not allow themselves to be abused in more ways than you can count on all your fingers and toes and get rid of them! Yay!!!" Wow. Great "team" you've got left over after that there load of bull excretement... o.O What really disgusts me is that the teachers are aware of and have approved these actions. That's the kind of thing you get kicked off/out of things for around these parts. And it doesn't only apply to sports, as Cloricus stated. However, I doubt the chess or scrabble club would be anywhere near as anything about it. (Though every group has its dumb fucks who manage to ruin it for everybody. >:^O )

I wont bother with North American VAs...aside from the fact that I don't know how any one could like that Cox fellow. Uck. The dude who VAs for Shikamaru (and, according to one source, Konohamaru, as well O_o), is definately one of my favourites. I love the way he manages to sound so whiney--even if it's overdone, the personality emphasis is great. He is also "a doll", as Cherry Valice would say. (The Outsiders is bad for my brain.) Whoever voices Gai must be a genius. A genius of vocal cords, because he cracks me up, even if I hate Gai. : /

A friend of mine has resorted to watching a non-ANBU AonE release. Though I know she will delete it the moment she sees ANBU has come out with an episode. XD
Would that be me? I, for the first time in an age, have downloaded from BakaSan. And Christ, that group sucks. >

The perfect villain is deceptive, intelligent, and works (for the most part, at least) only in ways that will benefite her/him. S/he practices good diplomacy and conflict-resolution skills, in order to avoid unnecessary casualties/injuries, whether they be inflicted on her (I'll just stick with her for now...) or her minions. She will not go through spasms of anger or guilt, as she knows that this would be pointless. She will treat her minions/pet monsters/friends/allies with respect, so as to not create unnecessary enemies. She will not execute her own minions, unless they prove to be an utter and affirmed threat. She will not be entirely cold-hearted. By this I mean that she will have the ability to posess feelings of love for another being, whether it be an animal or houseplant, lover or best friend. She will be in contact with her own shortcomings and limits. She will reside in a pleasant townhouse, in the middle of a metropolis, where the shopping is good and the food is even better (if you know where to go), be friends with as many of her neighbors as possible, and maybe even have a part-time job. After all, villainy is not a carreer--it is a hobby, and should be treated as such. u_u

1. I have alot of ticks. By this, I mean that I sit around, twitching, unless I am preocupied by something. I twitch during movies, other people's presentations, while on the computer. It's sort of irritating, really... 2. I rarely finish sentences in a coherant manner, unless I am online. 3. I eat ice cream with a fork. 4. I don't know if you'll count this as a quirk, but the Mario and Zelda themes have managed to work themselves into mine and my friend's lives to an unbelievable degree. u_u And who says talking to your cat is embarrassing? Sometimes, it seems like he's the only one who listens.

Oh, I just spend the whole day on the computer, eating lots of snacks, and getting in some good nothing time. There's never enough time to do all the nothing you want in this world...take advantage of that sparce frame where you can sit back and contemplait life. I actually like being alone, so I don't mind it when the rest of the household is out and about...hm...

"It is a mistake to think one can solve any major problems with just potatoes." -Douglas Addams You know it's true. For all their glory and splendour, potatoes will only help you achieve so much in life. After all, even the potatoe farmer needs to learn to love some day...or else he will die having sold many potatoes, but never having known life for its greatness. u_u "You can't blame all your problems on inanimate objects." - Me Because, people, you just can't.

I have to order them?! But but but...okay, fine. The first three being in no particular order... 1)Neji 2)Tsunade 3)Shikamaru 4)Sakura 5)Anko (because, ya know, her and her
"Lovely red blood..."
thing u_u) Why do I love Neji? That's not the question! The question is why the @#$! don't you love Neji?! >:^O (not directed at Sauke, obviously) There is nothing NOT to love about him! He's intelligent, collected, tragic and attractive! Not to mention he's uber-powerful.^^ Tsunade is self-possesed, uber-powerful, unafraid of offending any one, and
the Godamie Hokage
. Her unwavering amount of sixteen-year-old-like attitude is undeniably cool, as is her ability to be compassionate towards her patients. And, as I always say, medical ninjas are the most dangerous. u_u Shikamaru is like an animated, male version of myself, only alot smarter. We have pretty much exactly the same personality. And his pants pwn.^^ Sakura is imperfect. She is studious, and naturally bright, and always overreacting. Have you noticed that about 50% of the time, she is drawn over-animated? The voice inside of her head is
not just a voice. It can manifest itself into something very scary if you mess with it.
Her ability to take responsibility, and cautiousness when it is due are both adirable traits. u_u Anko is just plain cool. : D Sasuke-kun! Stop copying my favourite episodes and chapters and reasons for their being my favourites!! >:^O *stabbity stab stab stab burn a splode* Ahem. As far as characters I DISLIKE TO THE POINT WHERE I WANT TO SEE THEM DISEMBOWELED, you all know who's number one on my list.^_~ I also hate Gai, just because he's ugh. Lee is uber, however. I hate Orochimaru, because he's just bitchy (like Sasuke!). The same goes for Itachi, except for his coat. Itachi's coat is the Best Thing Ever, or one of them.

Lastly Rurouni Kenshin, very last OVA: Yes is was pretty. BUT content-wise it was absolutely horrid. What the hell?!? Every single aspect of that OVA was out of character WITH every character. Yes. I have condemned that OVA. To me, it's just blasphamous. :flaming:
Ahem. Well, here we have some one who has clearly failed to read the Rurouni Kenshin manga. Actually, the OVA was pretty much perfect, in my opinion. I was only dissapointed it didn't include
Kaoru's innitial death
. That was just too depressing for words--I couldn't read the damn manga because I was crying so much. T_T (I mean, I couldn't see properly through the tears... : / ) Well, there you have it. Monkey, go out and read the manga, laugh, cry, get depressed. Then rewatch the OVA. I guarentee you will love it. u_u

"Always pillage before you burn." The above quote can be seen on the basic, reasonable level, or you could choose to dive deeper and say it's a statement about how you should reap the benefite of everything before quitting. But that would be so very pretencious. : / "See that little island? That's where all the people who care live." - Dilbert Ahh, yes, Dilbert. Alice said this. The line is just so undeniably useful. I mean, how often do you hear people going on and on with great intensity about something that really doesn't matter? Too often. And that happens to be one of my favourite lines for telling them.

"The ability to make accurate observations is often reffered to as cynicism by those who do not have it." - a very smart individual, who's name has escaped me The above quote is simply true in every possible way--you can't argue with it without sounding like a naive moron. That's why I love it. "Great minds think alike, but fools seldom differ." I hear this phrase so often, it's almost as though it has been driven into my skull with a bolt and a sledgehammer. Or burned on with a cattle prod. Really. o.o I like the way it tends to confuse people, though I don't see what's anything but straight-forward about it. "A man without religion is like a fish without a bicycle." Because, yeah. *nod*

Living around here, it's hard to be an anime-watcher without breaking down and revelling in the delights of pirated goods. (BTW, people, 'quality-bootleg' is an oxy-moron, unless your idea of quality is people coughing and some one slipping their index finger over the camera lens towards the end of the movie because they fell asleep.^_~) I don't know how much I have spent on my anime/manga obsession...let's do some quick math here... 30 dollars a volume for Ranma 1/2 (crazy, huh?), so that's $90 right there. Nine releases by VIZ, at $12 a piece...$108...$10 a pop for 10 volumes of miscelanious manga, so that's another $100...and $210 worth of both legit. and pirated DVDs. Added up, that's $520, right? Not too extreme, I guess... Do all the fabric costs for cosplaying, gifts, keychains, calendars, and other such things count? Because, I have alot of them, too. And the costs of blank CDs...hmmm...

As I am a sucker for anything early-release-date related, one of my friends made an *** out of me earlier today._ _U Damn him... As my class has the same teacher for both math and English, we convinced him that he had told us we were going to have an English period instead of a math period. He was so flustered--ahaha..."Oh. Yes, I did say that, actually, didn't I?" *chuckle* Our geography teacher pretended to give us a pop quiz._ _U Said math teacher started "suspending" people at random for "online harassment" this morning. *_* Kind of boring, no? But what ANBU did was simply hilarious. Arvie and I laughed our respective ***** off over that one for about half an hour. *maniacal laughter*

*nod nod* It's sad, really. The Naruto anime has really begun to spiral downhill. Things are not looking up. My favourite episodes were 63 and 64--the action scenes are amazing in those. Really. It's like they got an extra million in budget or something. I hate how great manga can be given a negative image through poor animation. Series-milking is something I loath.@_@

Yes, doctor foot is the best way out of tough situations. >_> As far as destroying the Earth (or at least humanity) goes, I'm with PrincessGoneral in that "If they put weapons in space, we're done for." The Earth is going to "die" in a couple billion years, as it is, unless a miracle happens and the sun stays just like this forever, and everything else stays just like this forever (to an extent). It is possible, however, that we will end up with a Nausicaa situation, which would be extremely unpleasant.u_u

The little girl I mentioned earlier was found dead in a Missasauga ravine yesterday morning. This is the second case of an abduction-murder within two years, in this area. When things like this happen so nearby, in an place you once felt all but completely safe in, it really changes your perspective. Beyond the smiles and laughter at school and on the street, you can sense a genuine depression among, well, every one. The scariest part of this case was that this girl was abducted from her bedroom. Some one broke in through the basement window (you know, those tiny, ceiling-ward ones), and managed to snatch her from her bedroom, without waking any of the six or seven peope in the house. It is truly a sad world, where there are people who will murder a nine year old.

Though it is obvious that the woman would be biased in her testimoney, hearing every side of the story is essential. Even if she is found to be lying or omitting certain information, this could be as important as any truth she might tell. That's really all I have to say. *blink*
Rurouni Kenshin- Ok before I get pelted with rotton vegetable what i mean is the last few seasons after the Kyoto arc that the studio made instead of the wonderful Jinchuu arc..it was cancelled because of those horrid stories ...really evil Germans and Feng shue.. what were they thinking
I know, eh? I was enfuriated. I simply do not understand how sending every one along on a quest to find a magical elixer is at all better (or anywhere near equal to) the heart-wrenching tale of Himura Shinta's past. I mean, wtf? As much as I dislike the original
Mrs. Kenshin
(XD), she was an interesting character, and the story
of her death, by her second beloved's hands
brought tears to my eyes on many-an-occasion. The part where
Kaoru is "killed"
had me practically weeping. Ah! Sano!
Come baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!
At least Seshounen was beautiful, not that any one would understand it, had they not read all the manga. Ahahaha...
Dagger-dono: Naruto is not as deep as many would like.
What the hell are you talking about? o.o Naruto's character development and relationship-development is brilliant, for the most part. The only dull part of the show is Naruto and Sasuke's rivalry. *yawn* They're just...dull. Blah. Semjaza, I found Metropolis amazing. It's rather slow moving, and the art may turn some people off (stupid people : /), but it's still great. Something that never appealed to me was the concept of sport-based anime and manga. I've never read any, but they don't seem very alluring. The strangest thing I've ever heard of was a twenty volume manga about golf. GOLF.
-
I know! It's even dull when it was what was left in the VCR when you're on the treadmill. Yeesh. The show sucks, the manga is actually amusing on a non-deep level. You know, Skippedry, I can only tell you so many times that the first arc of Naruto is 1) wonderful 2) a pace-setter. The show is beginning to wain in its credibility...they're milking the series. *cries* The manga definately seems to be taking a turn for the darker side, though. Chapter 210, where are you?!!? *cries* I don't know what I never liked about PMK. The animation was wonderful, I will say without hesitation, but it just didn't...draw me in. I didn't enjoy it, but I have nothing against it. So, we're even. Haha...I might look into PMK, though, seeing as you guys are all so "EEEE!! PMK!! I love you, (insert random bish's name here)!!! :wigout: " After all, you did look into Naruto. It's only fair. InuYasha was good for a long time. Then it started to...get old. I watched 60-some episodes before losing interest. Now the school is crawling with Inu-loving dubbies. >

I dispise the DBZ anime. The manga is great, though not the most brilliant thing to ever be conceived by humanity. The art is awesome. But the anime just dropped all of that. It sucked the life out of Toriyama's series, and milked it beyond what is under any circumstances acceptable. I didn't like the Kenshin add-on movie. You know, the one with the train scene at the begining? I felt it was entirely predictable, boring, and that it was an embarrasment to the series. I never liked PMK, either, but I wont say anything bad about it while Skippedry and others lurk. *watches back carefull* ..... *dodges flurry of arrows* : \

They point the teacher made was more about freedom of speach, actually (ACK. Goneral, I'm going insane!! The rest of you, just...don't ask..._ _U). Also, it was far from an explicit or realistic example, because it's supposed to merely demonstrate the idea. A close friend of my mother's is wanted in Etheopia because he said or wrote something that was against the government. You'd never guess it knowing the man, though. For the record, slander is spoken, and libel is written. So, a newspaper would be printing libel. Unless the paper got up and started talking, which would just be borderline disturbing. o_o""
