Has anyone here ever heard of Noir? If so, what do you think about it? I own the entire series and am one of the biggest Noir Sarus' (monkies) on the web. It may be kinda gratiutiously violent and somewhat slow, but the action sequences and relationships between the girls are golden. Thoughts?

I've heard a rumor that they are going to do a live action Evangelion through various sources, so they be re-releasing it in preparation. I know that there are several scenes that were cut out of the original, including one where Asuka throws herself at Kaji. XD I hope in the re-dub they keep most of the voices, and I definately hope they keep Misato's voice! Allison Keefe is awesome!:)

*Giggle* I always liked the fact that that little card The Power was a little girl in a pink dress. That's just so cute! My other favorite card is The Dash, I just wanna hug that cute little cat/fox thing! ^ ^

The english Cardcaptors was one of my first animes, but now that I've seen it in it's original form I think the English version totally sucked! :( The Sealed Card is a good movie, which it just so happens I am watching while typing away at my laptop. The japanese are definately masters of the uncomfortable male/female dynamic, and it's so cute when the character's blush. The end when she jumps towards him and yells "I love you!" is a little stereotypical, but it's still cute. ^ ^

On second thought, there is another argument to support that. The evas were made out of Lillith's body, and Rei says in the early part of the series that she is "bonded" to her eva. Another good question that's been around the argument table is who's soul is inside unit zero. Yui Ikari's soul is in unit one, and and Kyoko Soryu's soul is in unit two. Some people have speculated that it's the soul of Adam, but there is not much to support that.

I've heard various theories about how Rei is Lilith's soul put into a shell. There have also been debates that Rei is what was left of Yui's body and parts of Lillith. The main argument for that is the fact that in EOE when Rei is floating in front of Lillith's body she says "I'm home", like the soul is returning to the body.
