1. Ok, I have a list :): 1. Capcom Vs. SNK 2: Mark of The Millenium 2001 2. Dynasty Warriors 3 3. Guilty Gear X 4. Kessen 2 5. Jade Cocoon 2 These are only my list of the ones I want that are actually out now, but definately FFX for the ones that aren't out yet...
2. It's an excellent game, and for it's time it was mindblowing. The first one released on the PSX, come on, you could never forget it, even if it was the most crap game ever, you can still remember it's crapness. Never forget it, it rules too much :).
3.
Originally posted by coolkam007 freya.. :blush: lol.. .everyone thinks i'm crazy now.. ohwell...
Hey, Freya for me too... And she's not a horse... -__-;;
4. Aye, this game in many ways does amazingly rock! But, yes, mindlessly killing innocent people for 6 hours can get a bit... boring, to say the least. But, it's good they added things like "INSANE stunts" so you keep playing the game to do all the INSANE stunts and find all the hidden packages :).

Big News!

Whoa! This is big news! Final Fantasy and other Square games on Nintendo consoles again, this is cool! The GBA/GCN link up sounds like an amazing idea too, but do you know what they're going to use it for? And also, do you know what they are going to call themselves, or are they still going to keep their seperate names? Still, great news!!:)
6. I really do love what they have done with the Metroid series, if you have played any of the previous games, you will notice the amazingness of this series. I think that the visor-view thing is an excellent idea, you kind of get to interact with the monsters... well, before you kill them ;). Do any of you guys know what the visor displays, or is it just unreadable jabber? One thing that I will miss about it is the lack of the 3rd person view. But you will just have to make do with the amazing 1st person view at the moment :smirk:. I have another question for James, do you know if there are going to be specific missions, or are you free to wander around wherever you are? And, if there are missions, do you know what they will be based on (apart from killing Metroids ;))?
7. 21 pounds is pretty good :) Did you use the sinking lure? Heaviest I got was 10 pounds.
8. Heh... that's pretty cool. You must get really bored to think that much into a thread, lol :). Still, it's pretty funny and good :). Kuja stop nitpicking... lol ;).
9. It all depends what type of RPG you like, I mean Final Fantasy. I admit I do enjoy the job system, which is a good type, but it doesn't mean I hate FFVII. I like all of them, although VII and IX have seemed best to me at the moment.

Mm

I am only on the Goron Dungeon (Snowhead Temple, whatever), and I haven't played it in like a year either. It's not my favorite Zelda game...
11. I really enjoy VII's plot, the Sephiroth + Jenova + Cloud relationship is really quite dark and confusing, which makes it more of a puzzle to find out what is gonna happen, it isn't predictable, which makes it pretty "jumpy" and not boring. If you like solving a story/puzzle, you'd love this :).
12. Ah yes those days suck alot... normally I just end up having no patience and feeling like I could whack someone round the head with something heavy, if they annoy me that is.
13. This is absolute spam. If you want to take out something with someone, do it over AIM or PM's, but do not spam up my forum with your stupid argument. Got it? Topic closed.
14. Jaylo ran outside of his house, exited, for today was his birthday. He knew what he was getting, a pair of daggers from Marlene, his mom. She had saved ALOT for this pair and were of extreme quality. He ran into the weapon shop and saw Marlene buying the daggers. He didn't see them, but he wasn't meant to be there, so he quickly sprinted back to his house. He opened the door and jumped on the sofa, and started to watch some TV. Soon he heard a key scrambling at the door and then it opened, Marlene walked in with a pretty large package. Marlene: Happy birthday!! Jaylo: Awwww thanks, what is it? yah, as if I don't know, heheh. Marlene: Well, open it and see, we thought it was time you got some new ones. Jaylo: Shoes...? aww god that's a good one! Marlene: Heehee, open it and find out Jaylo... Jaylo ran over to the big package and ripped it open, revealing some kind of polished oak box with his name carved elegantley into it. He saw a lock on it, but just then, Marlene handed him a really nice looking key on a neck-chain. Jaylo put the key in the lock and turned it. He took the key, hung it on his neck and then opened the box. What he saw next made him squeal, the box inside was lined with a deep red velvet fabric and placed in the middle were two matching daggers. Each blade was a shining silver, with a kind of see-through edge to the blade, the hilts were of gold, and wrapped with leather and the pommel was an empty gem holder, the type you would find on a ring without it's gem. He guessed it was for Materia, and then he glanced at the blades again. They were carved with a few runes and then he looked at Marlene. Jaylo: What do these runes mean, mom? Marlene: They mean Jaylo's. Jaylo: As in, like, mine? Marlene: They sure are. Jaylo: ...! Marlene: You don't have to say anything... Jaylo: I won't! And with that Jaylo flung his arms around his mother and hugged her tight, he kissed her on the cheek and then let go. Jaylo: Thanks so much, mom :)! Marlene: No problem, just, don't wear them out on the first day! Jaylo: I won't! Jaylo grabbed both of the daggers and ran out of the door. Marlene: Hey wait! Jaylo: What? Marlene: You forgot these... Marlene handed him two sheaths and two green gems. Jaylo put the sheaths diagonally around his shoulders and sheathed his blades, but then he took the green gems and handled them quickly, then he glanced at Marlene. Jaylo: ... Materia...? Marlene: Yes :). Fire and Lightning. Jaylo: Whoa! Cool! What spells do they cast? Marlene: Well, Fire casts Fire, and Lightning casts Bolt. Jaylo: Thanks! And, can I ask you? Marlene: Yes? Jaylo: How do you know so much about this? Marlene: Ah, my father, Barret, taught me about Materia a few years before you were born. Jaylo: Really? Was he a good fighter, I mean, in the times when AVALANCHE were around, we learnt about that in History at school last week. Marlene: He was a good fighter yes, you can go and meet your grandfather in Kalm, a few miles south-west from here. Do you know the way? Jaylo: Nah... but I'll figure it out :D. Marlene: Ok, but you be careful now, make sure you return WITH him ok? I don't want you getting lost out there. Jaylo: Okay mom, bye! Marlene: See you later, Jaylo.

Ok, here are the specs for the new Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and Network Adapter for the PS2... Network Adapter Price: $39.95 US £40 TBC UK Release date: November 2001 US February 2002 TBC UK Features: 56k modem or Ethernet adapter for connecting the PS2 to the internet. Hard Disk Drive Price: $200 TBC US £200 TBC UK Release date: November 2001 TBC US February 2002 TBC UK Features: 40Gb of storage capicity. These dates may be a bit old, but anywho... the price is just way too much for HDD, as much as a PS2 now! One very good thing about the HDD is that it has 40 GIGABYTES of memory (no more memory cards). You know those 10Mb memory cards you buy? Well this is like 4000 times better :D. Also, a really, really bad point. You have to spend (all in all) about $/£240 to actually be able to play online games. The only game I'd use it for is Final Fantasy XI, but... I think that is too much money just to play one game. I will scan a pic of it in.
20. On Friday for the UK, Safer, did you know it is only for like £10 or something ^_^ AND we get a FFX demo? Sweet!
21. Well... Playstation 2- 128bit Nintendo Gameboy Advance- 32bit Microsoft Xbox- 32bit Nintendo Gamecube- 64bit The bit stands for "bitrate". And did you know that the PS2 was the only 128bit console out? I find it funny that the Xbox is 32bit (controls laughter).
22. OOC: So the Yakuza are... Italian...? Damn, and there I am being Japanese... (you should have a Russian mafia, ;)) ------------------------------------------ Yorikoma counted the money he took from Lidan, he counted all together, $30. Yorikoma: Ah. That's not much. But at least I killed some of them Triads I was asked to kill. He sat in his car and put the money away, then opened the glove-box and took out his uzi. Yorikoma: Now maybe for a few personal jobs. He floored the pedal and drove off down the streets. He hadn't come far until he saw a car chase, some guy who looked like a person he knew, called Warlock he remembered. He was chasing after another guy in a really nice car. Yorikoma turned his car near Warlock's. Yorikoma: Remember me...? Warlock: Eh...? Yorikoma: Do you even know who I am? Warlock: No... Yorikoma: Oh well. Fun time... Warlock: ?! Yorikoma rammed into Warlock's car, then he rammed Yorikoma back. Yorikoma then took his uzi and aimed it at the speeding wheels of Warlock's car, he fired once. The tyre immediatly went popped and started to go down. Yorikoma shot the next on down and then Warlock's car started to slow down. Warlock: Are you f-ing crazy?! Yorikoma: Yes. In many respects. Warlock: I needed to catch up with that car! Yorikoma: Not my problem kid. See you around. Yorikoma sped off leaving Warlock very bewildered.
23. Name: Jayro. Age: 16. Gender: Male. Bio: Son of Barett's daughter, Marlene. Appearance: He took a liking to the old SOLDIER uniform that his grandfather's best friend wore (Cloud). He wears clothes similar to that, but has a long black cloak covering most of it and he ties it with a belt. He also has spiky, light-brown hair. Weapon: Double Daggers. Limit Break: Blade Pummel- Jayro runs up to the enemy and repeatedly stabs and slashes the enemy with both daggers.
24. OOC: Ooops. Sorry, you musta posted while I was typing. Shall I still include this? --------------------------------------- Lidan: I was meant to meet these men... Yorikoma: My job is my job and I do not feel emotion, as it was not me who acted. Lidan: Whatever, weirdo. Yorikoma: ... Take that back. Lidan: You shutup... you've just killed some of the most important people in the Triads. Yorikoma: And I care...? Mokukattaa doesn't care either. Lidan: Shut the hell up! Lidan acted too quickly for Yorikoma to react, she unsheathed one of her blades and smashed it into his arm, blood poured out of the bruised cut. Without squealing or screaming, Yorkioma quite calmly took it out and cursed, then he snapped the blade of the knife with his hands. He looked at his wound, and took some on his finger. He licked it off. Yorikoma: Good blood. Not as good as that Triad's though. Lidan: YOU SICKO! She launched herself at Yorikoma once again and punched him in the face. He reeled back, but then caught Lidan by her top and threw her against the wall. He aimed his gun at her head and Lidan waited to be dead, but it never happened. Yorikoma: 2 bullets I needed only. None for you I'm afraid. Yorikoma quickly ran up quickly behind Lidan and punched her sharply, square in the back and she passed out. Yorikoma took what money she had and smashed the window, then jumped out. He vaulted back into his car and sped off back toward his HQ...
25. The engine of Yorikoma's BMW Z3 roared as he tore down the streets. He looked to his left and saw the building he wanted. He skidded and pulled up on the sidewalk then vaulted out of the car. It was a run down kind of Chinese restaurant, closed at this moment though. He punched the door and the glass shattered, he bent over and went through the hole in the glass and looked over to the bar. He got out the small time-bomb in his pocket and set it to 3 minutes, and then he stuck it to the underside of the bar. Yorikoma: Job one, complete. He then reached inside his coat and pulled out his pistol. He kicked another door down and he was in the kitchen. He was looking for the back room, one of the places he was asked to massacre all occupants today. He found it, a door with a little "no entry" sign on it. No sign could stop him, so he kicked the door down. Chinese guy#1: EH?! Who this?! Yorikoma: If you must know, I'll tell you now. Before you die. Secrets cannot be taken to the grave. At that point there was a loud swoosh, and all the 4 Chinese men had their pistols out, they were the same as the one Yorikoma carried. Yorikoma: Wanna play huh? He pulled the trigger once, re-aimed and shot again. Two of the Chinese men lay dead. Chinese guy#1: Why you do this?! Yorikoma unsheathed his katana and jumped high into the air before swooping down, his blade horizontal, peircing the man's skull and slicing down to his stomach. He gurgled with pain and Yorikoma stabbed him in the back just as he fell. He heard a far off sound, but he recognised it and ducked. It was the sound of a gun. He spun Mokukattaa (his katana) round and stabbed at the man upwards, the blade entered the man's stomach, and it made an exit through his mouth, spilling blood everywhere. With one easy twirling motion, Yorikoma jumped and ripped the sword from the man, splattering yet more blood everywhere. Just to be sure, Yorikoma struck him in the head with a bullet from his now smoking gun. Yorikoma: And I thought only fat people had that much blood. Mokukattaa, you have had much feed tonight, and will get more as soon as Tetsu is assigned a new job. Be quiet my love. He licked some of the blood off of the blade with his tongue and licked his lips. Yorikoma: You are getting greedy! Next time, leave me some blood... OOC: Was that too graphic? I just thought it was, if it is, sorry ^_^;;
