ok, here's a recipie of mine for "super menchi steak" first, take a large dish, finely cut up about five chillies, taking the seeds out of four and a half of them, and place them in the dish, finely dice a red onion, and add it to the dish, crush three cloves of garlic, and add to the dish, put about half a bottle of soy sauce into the dish, three tablespoonfulls of sake, a tablespoon of olive oil, and a teaspoon of sugar, salt, and pepper all into the dish. mix it well, and lay some prime steak in the mixture, make sure the stakes are well coated, and leave it in the fridge for three days. after the three days, baste the steaks again with the mixture in the bowl, and place them on a preheated griddle, at a high temperature - cook to your preference, and serve with whatever you feel like.

I've met lemmy (the guy from motorhead) last year at a gig, it was funny because i'd gotten him to sign a bass plectrum of mine before the gig, then during the show, i got hit on the head by his water bottle >.<

Graduation (if i have it correct) is the time when you leave compulsory education? If so, then i graduate on the first of july, but i've already left school (we leave after our exams are done, but we officially sign off from the register on the first of june). Graduation was great for me, as i no longer have to have anything to do with my school, or the people that go there. I hated that school, and almost everyone who went there, with college coming up in september, release has come, and i'll get to take some intilectuall subjects, rather than having to take lessons with people who don't know the difference between a supernova and a star.

Seing as my anime collection comprises of 11 DVDs, then i re-watch them all constantly. But i guess i re-watch love hina the most out of my DVDs, either that or Puni Puni Poemy, both shows rock.

Currently, i am under the employ of a supermarket called Sainsburys. i earn £4.12 an hour, with 10% off all purchases. Since i will have officially left compulsory education on the 1st of july, i'll be able to work up to 40 hours a week - pay's not brilliant, but i get paid more than people who work in fast food (at least around where i live)

One tip, answer questions like you were on the finals of mastermind. seriously though, just answer any questions they fire at you, and relax, they can't do anything worse than not hire you.

i stumbled across theotaku.com way before the introduction of myotaku.com, but didn't join up, i kept an eye on theotaku for a considerable period of time, decided to join myotaku, and found the link to otakuboards, i thought it would be good to be a member of a board where intelligent discussion was expected throuought the whole forum, not just restricted to one board (the "intelligent discussion board" which i was the mod of untill i left the site). so now i'm here, and intend to be here for many years to come.

Honeycomb. I'm not sure if this counts as a candy or not but it's frickin' sweet (literally). you can only buy it off of the farmer's market where i live though, and that only comes twice a year... :(

I favour nightmare, because he has awesome power in his moves, and has awesome dilogue lines (you conceited wretched human!! XD) and Xianghua because she is quite fast, most of her moves are sword twirls, which can disorient the person you are playing against, and has cool dialogue (here's another, just kidding!)

(so far we have the series, and the spring special) so i'm counting the days till november now. but anyway, upon watching the spring special through in english, near the end, where shinobu sings a song, in english, the song is gutwrenchingly sickening, i mean, bleurgh.... go for subs with this one, trust me.

I have three anime dreams. 1) to work with the GDW (shinichi watanabe) on producing/directiong/screenpla for an anime. 2) to become a voice actor, and work alongside the greats, like mitsuishi kotono, kobaiyashi yumiko, and the guys on the 5.1 commentary for puni puni poemy 3) to craft the soundtrack for many great anime shows and/or write the script for a great anime. these dreams are unrealistic, and probably delusional, but if a person has not their dreams, then they have nothing

Why is it that ecxel never dies? I mean c'mon man, taking a bazooka bullet to the head, falling down a pit numerous times, and various other fatal injuries... yet she lives on?? Why is it that keitaro still lives? again, he gets the **** beaten out of him all the time, and has a mad woman chase after him with a sword all the time. why is it that people in anime in general have a considerable resistance to death??

Anime Subs (Japanese voices with subtitles) or Dubs (English voices)?
Lord Dante replied to Bloodseeker's topic in Otaku Central
Well personally, when i get an anime dvd, i watch it through dubbed, then subbed, then dubbed with subs, then in japanese with no subs. i feel that both are an important part in the enjoyment of the program itself. As each one (subs, dubs, and such) creates a unique show in each of their own ways, wether in personality quirks, vocal mannerisms, and general personality. Each voice actor protrays a part in their own way, wether it be the fasttalking style of kobaiyashi yumiko, or the style of one of the ADV peoples. so i think that both are equal as they can both provide enjoyment of the show in unique ways. However, this pole does not allow for middle-grounders, so I cast my vote for subs, simply because that is as close as i can get to the original concept. -
I like old-english sweet shop favorites, like pear drops, pinaple cubes, and rhubarb and custard. but when i went to germany, i found a really small shop for chocolatiers, and i must say, the stuff in there would have blown your head off, it was so nice. kinda put a dent in my wallet, at ?21.50 a pound....

Let's see... well there's loads really, but if I had to pick one, I'd pick final fantasy VII. a brilliant game all round. Plus, it brought final fantasy to the global stage, and got it recognised to millions. - plus it rocks.
Hm, my favorite anime artist is Masamune Shirow. You can check out his artwork here and here[/url']. Now, I'll give you a heads-up, he's not only an anime/manga artist, he's a giant in the hentai art area ^_^;; So, some of the pics you might want to hurry up and pass. But his style is beautiful and I hope to get anywhere near close to as good as he his.
Shirow is truly a masterful artist, unfortunately the only thing i've seen of his is Appleseed.

Safer sephiroth was just amusing. I remember thinking that the "american monsters" would have made better bosses, but I appreciate Safer for his sheer comic value - plus his background music rocks.

In my oppinion, the answer to the "friends disliking anime, therfore you" thing is simple: keep no friends. Does no harm to to you, and is foolproof.

No one where i live knows what anime is. none of my aquaintances know what anime is. but it's their loss i guess.
