1. Hey everyone, I had to take an unexpected trip and haven't been able to get to a computer. My apologies. Just skip me for this round.
2. I'll just take it that it's my turn then. I'll start on my contribution this week. It should be done within a few days. Sorry for the delay.
3. Would it be my turn now, or is Shishou going? He's on the list as after James, and I didn't see any post saying he was 100% sure he wouldn't be doing it, so I'm a tad confused. If Shishou has truly cancelled, the list should be updated, or something.
4. My Myspace account was phished, and thus it has been locked. When I try to change the password, the verification picture (with the letters you have to copy into a box) doesn't show up. It's just a box with a red x instead. I don't know why it started doing this. Does anyone know if this is something wrong with myspace that will be resolved or if there's something I can do to resolve it? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.
5. This is my first ever webcomic. Just thought I'd give it a shot. It's based off of a joke by the comedian Mitch Hedberg. Enjoy:
6. I have a picture of the band Dr. Acula as my background.
7. I am going into graphic design, and I'm making a Myspace page for my design commisions. I really need to learn html to design my site, and just learn more about it in general. Can anyone help me out here? Maybe tell me where I can find free html tutorials. I'd appreciate any assistance.
8. I'd like to go next in line, which I guess would be after James?
9. Okay, I'm wanting to hook my XBox up to Xbox Live again, but only for the shortest amount of time possible. Is it possible, does anyone know, to only pay for one month? And if not, does anyone have an unexpired two month free trial they're not using? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you'd PM me the code. (I'm sure though that that is a snowball's chance in Hell). I just don't want to pay a lot of money for a big subscription when I'm only going to be using it for like a month or two. Thanks.
10. And here is OUCH!:
11. THe INtroduction: LINK
12. All right, I'm wanting to take this image and turn the girl into a zombie. I can't find quality tutorials to do this, and I'm not sure of how to apply effects to create a "zombie." If someone could do this for me, or direct me in how to do this, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.
13. Here is my image of Polar Opposite 1. I have conveyed the image of evil. IMAGE LINK
14. I'd like to do one of the Polar Opposites. Doesn't matter which number. EDIT: I'd also like to do Introduction.
15. Yes, Delta, I'd have to agree with you. That is a good idea indeed. So Delta, would you be able to contribute to these tutorials? We need a few artists with varying skill strengths to create the tuts of course.
16. I would like to post third. EDIT: Here is the finished image: LINK
17. As many of you know, I'm sure, I am in favor of having more art tutorials here on the OB. What I would like to see is the public's opinion on this topic, and hopefully we'll reach some kind of consensus and get this thing rolling. I'm wanting to have one thread for traditional art tutorials (e.g. figure drawing, shading, painting, etc.) and one thread for the graphic design tutorials. Hopefully enough of you will share with us your knowledge so that we can end up with an extensive archive of art tutorials, which could possibly be stickied in the Art Studio, where they would forever remain. I believe that this type of thing is just what the Art Studio needs (as well as contests/graphic worms; ahem), and so I hope that a few of you will volunteer to get this started. So people, tell me what you think of this idea, tell me how you think it could work better, give suggestions of tutorials you'd like to see, and then hopefully some of you will volunteer. EDIT: Here is a list, which I will update accordingly, of member who will be creating tutorials. If you'd like to be one of these people, say so in posting or PM me. Thank you. - cancer -
18. I second this notion. I think that having a new graphic worm for 2007 would be a great idea. Also, I'm going to start getting involved in the graphic worm this year.
19. I must be honest: I do find that the Art Studio has become rather boring recently. For the past few weeks I've skimmed through here and haven't really been too excited about anything. It really does need something. I think that the idea to have art contests is a great idea. I'm all for it. However, I would also greatly like to see more tutorials. Tutorials for Photoshop, drawing the human figure, etc. I think that the tutorials should be interactive as well, with requests being made for tutorials and different artists taking on the job of creating them. I know there used to be a tutorial thread like this, but I guess it died out. I'd like to see something like it return. I also think that the graphic contests looked like a lot of fun, though I never got the chance to participate in one myself. So it seems to me that contests draw the most attention/participation, and so we should just organize a lot of tournaments, and gradually host them one or two at a time. I'm also going to be doing a lot more sketching this summer, as well as creating new designs. I'll be sure to create a thread to host my new work, even though those types of threads don't seem to draw much attention. : p
20. So! I'm planning on going to a prestigious art school in the Fall of 2007. However, due to some issues of no importance, I have yet to apply to those schools, and many of them have already passed deadline for admissions. However, I know how many people drop out, or just don't show up, and some extra students are always allowed in. I am having a friend who works for Disney talk to Disney about internships and scholarships, because I really don't have the money for college. Also, I'm going to be talking to a guy who knows where all the big scholarship money is. Also, a Dean of Admissions of a college is going to be writing letters to schools on my behalf. So I'm hoping I can get in. Does anyone here have any advice for me? I really need advice now more than ever.

My Own Anime

Good luck with this. I think it's great that you're doing something like this. How long have you been drawing? The drawings aren't too bad, and the coloring is decent.
22. I would love to argue the case of only allowing one set of piercings for only girls to a judge, because that is obviously sexist. I hate when schools make sexist rules; it's a perversion of American freedom.
23. Here is the picture colored. I hope it looks right. If you need something changed let me know. http://i13.tinypic.com/2mrscc5.jpg Mod Edit: Sorry, cancer, you can't have a picture that stretches OB's layout. I edited it down to a URL for you. - Retribution
24. Thank you so much KW. But yea, the lips might be a little off. The left eye was intentionally left with no detail, because that's how the lighting made it. And the background was like that in the photograph, though I could've changed it and been creative : p Thanks again.
