Slade looks as Celest leaves and then turns his gaze back to Seth. Slade: So why is a Gatain here helping them out anyway. I thought honor and justice was your policy. Not much honor in trying to steal something. Seth: I don't recall ever saying we were stealing anything. Slade: Your right, you didn't, I figured out thats what they're up to and well I am not concerned with whatever they're after but I am curious as to why your here helping them giving them access to this place. Now my first guess since your a gatain is one of two things. They have a bounty on them and your waiting for the right time to take them in, but I ruled this out already so only one thing remains. You teamed up with them because you have a common goal of getting into that place. Slade then shrugs Slade: But then again I could be wrong. Well im gonna get back inside. Slade walks out of the room and closes the door behind him.

It is night the moon looms overhead its radiant light seeming to illuminate the whole of the town. As the town seems to be spreading rumors and stories of what had happened earlier that night a figure walks into the city and is wearing a dark cloak and having a cold feel to him the crowded streets seem to make a path for him as he walks by. He watches as they stare at him. The figure walks into a some sort of cafe as he walks in he spots quickly one demon female but does not percieve her as a threat and continues to the bar where he calls the bartender and asks for a drink. The bartender knowing what he is states loadly that he dont serve vampires or even were vampires tn his bar. Bartender: so take yourself elsewhere bloodsucker. Slade: Cattle should know their place in life, maybe I should teach you. I am no longer thirsty ,,, Slade looks deep into the humans eyes and continues his statement "But I am very hungry" and with that he seems to move with lightning speed over the counter and behind the bartender and bites down on his neck one of his arms around the bartender his other hand on the bartenders forehead. All the bar is know watching in shock and anger as this vampire drains the life from the humans body. Then just as they had been mezmorized by this event a group of men walk in the door and proclaim themselves to be mercenaries paid to hunt down the vampire which was now finished with his meal. Vampire: You dont know when to accept that you are just frail humans and have no chance of ending my life. ???: You killed most of men and for that you will pay I don't care how powerful you think you are I will beat you for my vengence. Vampire: If its death you crave so much I will deliver you to it. The vampire seems to move fast enough that the mercenary is caught off guard and tries to block the vampires sudden attack on him. But it is to no avail as the vampires hand peirces right thru the mans chest and out the other side, the humans heart being held in this vampires hand. The man looks with horror at the vampire and speaks his last words "M.. My vengence..." and as he dies his companions flee in shick at the vampires swiftness in killing their leader. The vampire pulls his arm out of the mans chest and lets him fall to the ground lifeless and then crushes the heart in his hand and walks out of the cafe. He notices that the demon that he thought would be pursing him now does not seem to be eager to follow him and she continues to talk with a man that is sitting with her, as if they had no reason to get involved with this event right now. The Vampire continues outside and disappears from the demons view.

Slade looks at her and is surprised shes asking out right as if they knew and didn't know at the same. Slade (Himself):How can she know these things and more importantly how did she know i said no point in both of us dying maybe i am in this alittle to deep but afterall I didn't mean to get involved in the first place. Slade doesn't think about anything that will give him away and succeeds. Slade: I don't have an agenda, at least not the one your thinking of. Slade walks over to Seth and looks at him then closes the door so they are alone. Slade: You know getting into the Crin base is impossible infact its suicidal. Seth: Maybe, but theres always a way in. Slade: If you had a tank maybe. Otherwise I say your all walking dead people. I have entered that place before once and can say there ain't no way your gonna get whatever it is your after. Seth looks at him with a sort of shocked look that hes admiting he's been there at all. Slade is still hiding the truth of course but at least now hes bought some trust.

Slade watches the two woman go and gets up to pursue them he is stopped by Seth. Slade: What are you doing?? Get outta my way Seth: I don't trust you to let you leave now so sit down and shut up for now. Slade looks at Seth with anger as he doesn't like be ordered around by a gatain reject. Slade: I'll do as you ask this time, but next time ill break your damn arm.

Slade smiles at her and notices that the dog does seem alittle unhappy to see him go. Slade makes a decision not knowing of what he is getting himself into.
