Yu-Gi-Oh! was actually much more mature in Japan. You do know that, right? They should license the uncut version for US license, but if Pioneer licensed it, it would either be rated 13+ or 16+ because of some of the content. SPOILER Especially once the concepts of death due to the Shadow Games/Games of Darkness and the God cards are introduced, along with Bakura's monsters, I don't know how they're going to edit those things. The show is also quite a bit suggestive.

If you had put questions about Serial Experiments Lain, Cardcaptor Sakura, more Tenchi, Sailor Moon (uncut), Yu-Gi-Oh (uncut), or Utena, I could have gotten them, but I haven't seen Ninja Scroll, Macross, Magic Knight Rayearth, and most of those other ones.

Hyper, you misunderstand. I'm not using THIS deck and turning it into a Light deck, I'm restarting from scratch. The only cards that aren't Light cards are Dark Elf (2) Hane-Hane (1).

Regarding the putting the Trap Holes in the Magic section: I forgot to put them in the Trap section... Also, basically, I'm not going to be building this deck for a while. It needs some MAJOR reworking, as you've stated, Hyper and Alex, plus I'm probably going to work more on a Light-type theme deck to suit my personality more. That will make it easier for my deck to decide what it wants to be, also. But I'm not totally going to give up on this deck. Also, my Light-themed deck has way less Tribute monsters. But I still might take out some of the Tribute monsters in favor of non-Tribute monsters.

Here's an update: I've ditched every piece of Ouija Board, my Sangans, and the Deck Destruction Virus of Death because they don't really belong in my deck.

Genkai, have you looked on eBay? They've got all 4 different types of structure decks up for auction every time I look for them, and the highest price I've seen one go for is 40 bucks, and that person had bad feedbacks, so... I'm not buying from them!

Personally, I think it sounds like a great strategy. For casual play, since my friend won't care what language the cards are in, my deck will use Japanese versions of some cards only available in Japanese, such as Ouija Board (ouch, that'll burn a hole in my wallet), Deck Destruction Virus of Death, Black Magician Girl (to go with my Dark Magicians), and Dark Necrophia (I'm just a Bakura fanatic...) Yami works for both main types of monsters in my deck; however, it takes the attack and defense of Doma The Angel of Silence by 200 points. The whole point of Gift of the Mystical Elf being in there is to replenish life points after Dark Elf has been summoned. I'm fairly new at this, and this is my second attempt at building a good deck.

There are only 12 episodes, aren't there? And I do agree that it is a great anime. I've only seen the first volume, myself. But it is one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

I've got the International Channel! I've seen one episode of untranslated Dragonball Z and it was OK, and 3 episodes of subtitles Slayers and that show rocks! Well, that's my 2 yen...

I don't like this at all, either. I can't record Inu-Yasha and then watch it during the week! I'll have to watch it over the weekend! BTW, does anyone know when this stupidity begins?

Here's a fairly obscure anime, in case nobody has mentioned it: Excel Saga

There are 26 TV episodes. There's basically no full-fledged plotline to speak of, although basically the main character, Excel Excel, has just graduated from high school and decides to join an evil organization known as ACROSS. The leader of this organization, Ilpalazzo, assigns various tasks to Excel and her partner that appears in the next episode. Excel is your average insane teenage girl who is insanely devoted to her insane leader, Ilpalazzo. To add to the fun, in the next episode, a Martian princess named Hyatt appears in a stasis pod. We see why this is in the next episode. She is very delicate and is prone to hacking up blood every few minutes, or rather, seconds. She also dies every 5 minutes or less. And don't forget that Excel's first mission is to assassinate her manga artist. Well, that's basically what it's all about.

What was the work about, Vegeta Rocker? Just out of curiosity. As for the story, it really did move me. I could really feel the emotions of the characters. Either that, or maybe I'm just a freak.

I've seen the first DVD of Boogiepop Phantom, all of Serial Experiments Lain, the first 13 episodes of Utena and the movie, the first DVD of Saint Tail, the first 12 episodes (volume 1) of Adventures of the Mini-Goddess, the Sailor Moon Super S movie edited and uncut, the first two volumes of Sailor Moon S uncut, and the first volume of Magical Project S. For edited anime, I have seen: Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, all the episodes of Inu-Yasha that have aired so far, 3 uncut episodes of Slayers Next that aired on the International Channel, Digimon 01 and 02 and a few episodes of Tamers, Tenchi Muyo, a bit of Dragonball and Dragonball Z, one untranslated episode of Dragonball Z, all three Sailor Moon movies edited, and that's about it. Does that make me a true otaku? ^^;
