The Hebrew Hammer on Comedy Central.

It is by far, one of the most hilarious movies I've ever seen, and everyone knows I don't throw that term around lightly, nor do I take comedy lightly, either. For me to say a movie is one of the most hilarious I've ever seen, it has to be impeccable; it has to have sharp, witty writing, intelligent comedy, intelligent satire, and a biting sense of humor. The acting has to support the writing, and the music must support the acting. In short, for a movie to impress me, it must run like frigging clockwork.

And that is precisely what The Hebrew Hammer does. If you can picture a white, Jewish Shaft, with all the witty wisecracks from the best Looney Toons cartoons, and a sneer like Denis Leary, sporting a Yamaka and clad in tight leather...that is The Hebrew Hammer.

The jokes run a mile a minute, unrelentless in religious and political satire, and Andy Dick stars as Damien, who
is unpleased with his father, Santa Claus, then has reindeer slaughter him, usurping the Santa throne, whereupon he begins hunting down the Jewish faith, destroying Channukah and also becoming a threat to Kwanzaa.
It is an excellent premise, brilliantly executed, and shows just how much strength Comedy Central has.

Jeez, I was gonna watch this but I got swamped with a ton of homework and studying :/

Knowing Comedy Central, though, they'll probably rerun it a million times (at least, that's what I'm hoping). Based on your positive comments, I know I have to catch The Hebrew Hammer the next time it comes on, heh.

Woo, I'm back!

I saw only the beginning of this movie. It was hilarious beyond belief. The part with
the teacher saying all the things about the boy in the flashback in the beginning was funny.
Also
the "The Chood" subway sign
was the greatest gag ever!

I missed it as well, which really pisses me off because I am a big fan of Adam Goldberg (who is the movies star) and I knew this movie would be a riot. Unfortuantly Comedy Central is not going to air the movie again according to their website.

From what I gathered during Adam Goldberg's interview on the Daily Show, the movie was aired on Monday but will be released in the theaters shortly. I guess that, with all of the big budget movies being released this holiday season, the producers felt that they best way to raise intrest was to air it and get publicity through word of mouth.

The movie "The Hebrew Hammer" Aired monday at 9/8 central. it aired again on tuesday at 3/2 central. Sorry to disappoint you. But it will come on again. Oh wait, that's what you wanted to happen. nevermind. i could just edit this all out. but i'm too lazy.

I'd prolly waste less energy if I'd stop typing and just erase all of this. Screw it.
