Anime The title"DragonBall | DragonBall Z | DragonBall GT"

Well this may seem like a sily question, but what does the Z | GT stand for at the end of DragonBall? I can guess what DragonBall is all about :cross: but it just made me think. Would it also be alright to mention *ahem* AF and ask what it was ment to stand for, although it was 100% fake. Not interested in anything other than that bit of info on it.

They could mean like Zeta and GT could mean Greater Transformation. Of course they could mean nothing.

I've read that in japanese Z's are pronounced Zetto Remember this isn't my own knowledge, it's just something I read a while back. The Z is said to have no particular meaning. Some even say it stands for "Zen." And "GT" stands for "Grand Tour or Great Tour, because of all the traveling from planet to planet, Goku, Pan, and Trunks do.

However Z... it really doesn't have a meaning. They needed a name for DragonBall a new series.... what sounds better.... DragonBall 2, DragonBall z, DragonBall H... i mean... Z is probably the bets name... Z is also used to indicate something like "future" or "next" or etc....

The Z stands for Zet or Zeta. The GT is for Grand Tour. I could be wron thou

dragonball z means dragonball zeto, referring to z as "the end", why you ask, is becaus toriyama truly ended the series there, and gt is not toriyama's work, and gt stands for grand tour, as a given, they travel around the universe, of course it makes sence

mostly everyone is right when i wuz 11 when DBGT came i thought GT stood for Goku and Trunks(hey i was stupid bak then)then bout a year later i found out it was Grand Tour.
