drive_monster Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Recently, I got my hands on a Japanese version of Z Gundam for the PS2. The only problem is, I have one of the newer models of the PS2, and I don't know how to mod it so that it will play Japanese games. Can someone please help me?
Morpheus Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 I'm pretty sure that the mini PS2's are too tight to mod. That is, there isn't enough space inside.
drive_monster Posted February 26, 2005 Author Posted February 26, 2005 So there's absolutely no way for me to play a Japanese game on my PS2? curse Sony...
Morpheus Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 I wouldn't say that. There is still the possibility of disks. do a search on Yahoo or Google.
boxybrown305 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 If you have the thin one, that will make it harder, though still possible. The original size on the other hand... that's easy as cake (or a piece of pie... or... something...)
Final Remix Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 No modding necessary. All you'd need is an Action Replay "MAX". Mine has a "freloader" firmware-booter built in, which basically changes the DVD region to a "-1"/Debug value, letting you play whatever game you want Codejunkies Product
