YohsAnna, we do not allow double posting on this forum, which is why we have the Edit button at the bottom of your posts to use if necessary. Also, be aware that OB has very strict policies on posting artwork that someone else had created, and if that's what you're doing, you will most certainly be banned.

And I think that's all I have to say for this thread.

-Rosette[/QUOTE]Unfortunately, I'd have to say that something like that is impossible to prove with an online message board, 1. that you've seen her drawings first-hand, or even 2. that you're her best friend to begin with.

In fact.. it may be quite difficult to prove that you did it in any respects, while if you didn't do it, evidence could easily be found online. All we have to go on is your word, and I really have no idea how desperate someone would have to be to post someone else's work, so for right now I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and keep this open.

Thanks for stiking up for me Rosette ^-^ She goes to my school is in almost everyone of my classes and to top it all off she lives a block away from me so I go to her house and she comes to mine and usually sees me drawing and somtimes i find a pic of somthing stare at it forever and draw it thats why some of my pics look like ones youve already seen :animeknow it's pritty difficult and i fail many times but i still make it the best i can

Anyway, YohsAnna, this is under the assumption that you did, in fact, draw these.

Hmm. These are probably some of the best drawings I've seen around here in a while. I like the sketchy feel of the first one, but it gets more smudgy than sketchy around the bottom left corner. What media did you use to make that one? Obviously, since you said 'free-handed' it's not a CG.

The second one isn't at all in the style of the first. It's [strike]suspicious[/strike] [I]amazing[/I] that you are able to switch from one style to the next while drawing, since real artists generally have ONE distinct style. If you're going to plagerize, honestly, at least do it right.

But, on the piece, I'd have to say that (Since I don't much care for Tekei's art in general) this isn't as good as the first one you posted. I don't really like the un-realistic nature of the people. As fan-art though, it's awesome. CG, right? I'm asuming. What program did you use? I'd like to buy it if it's really that great...

Anyway, I'd like to see some of the more preliminary scans, (since you obviously have a scanner) and see how you did these, since they're awesome (Seeing as you imitated Tekei's style perfectly)

I have one more question, though, why would you spend all that time on that second pic, and then save it as a crappy filetype so that is gets all pixelated and disrorted? I would never be able to live with myself if I accidentally clicked the JPG Opimizer insted of the PNG.[/SIZE][/CENTER]

I somtimes use adobe workshop and i have a bunch of older ones i just refuse to post anymore due to the people on here im sorry but im tiered of it thats why you havn't seen any lately i might post my older ones if people don't complain about them not being colored or crappy like you did previously

I?m in agreement with Unborn Lord Xion as all one has to do is left click on the picture and then choose properties to pull up the address of where the picture is originally posted. Both pictures are already hosted on two separate blogging sites and as Unborn Lord Xion pointed out the y in one picture is Spanish, just like the site it is originally posted in.

Based on that evidence I am inclined to believe that you did not draw the pictures in question.

Yeah...I'm finding the same stuff. Run a Google search for the first Image Properties address and the main hit is a site in German, I think. Looks like an Eastern-European language, at least. It has the first image hotlinked on there, and I seriously doubt the author of that page is YohsAnna.

Google search the second Image Properties address and you'll come to three sites, one of which is a Xanga with a User Info of Alex, born in 1989, who, oddly enough, also posted drawings of various anime characters--including the Yoh characters and all, even though not the specific drawing in the second image.

So we have two search results that produce vastly different sites, yet we're to believe these two images came from the same person...

Yeah. I'm not convinced. lol

This is an issue of plagiarism and not whether or not we think YohsAnna can actually draw. It is highly unusual for an artist to post their work on different sites in different countries. You can argue that perhaps they are hosting YohsAnna?s work, but why would the real artist need to hotlink to someone else?s site? Why don?t they simply host it themselves?

And if YohsAnna really is the artist why would the styles be so different? I have done some fan art myself and what the others say is correct. My pictures on some level look very similar. The styles of these two pictures are very different.

If you want your opinion to be a bit more respectable then you might want to consider using a spell check feature, as right now there are not only five spelling errors, but issues with proper grammar as well. A poorly written accusation of jealousy is not going to change my opinion. Where a well thought out response with facts stating why you think the artist really did draw the pictures is more likely to be believed.

Yep. I think plagiarism was pretty damn likely, given the random, nonsensical ranting and ramblings spewing out here. And if it wasn't, then it's the most absurd set of coincidences I've ever seen in my life. And I've been studying Literature, Philosophy, and Religion for years now, so I've seen a lot of really bizarre coincidences and crap.

Anybody can run a search on Google and find what ULX and indifference found. I know because I did. Everything is stacked against the original poster here. If there was any possibility it was original artwork, some evidence would have been discovered.

But as it stands, the search produced two sites that feature similar images but are entirely unrelated to each other, and in different languages. The names on those two pages don't even match.

I'm no expert in translation (no background in it at all, actually), but even as abysmal as the Google Translater is, I'd expect to see [i]some[/i] type of pattern (or even a [i]similarity[/i] to the original poster's name or the "Alex" of the Xanga site) in the Google Translated version of the foreign language site. But as far as I can tell? There's nothing similar.

And what [B]Brasil [/B] says about them being in different languages is true as well. And it?s also true that the styles are very different.

Secondly, if you check the source code for the site where the first picture is from, many of the links and images lead to an anime henti porn site. So basically you are claiming that not only are you the artist but that you created the blog site with all the henti and porn links in it. *sigh* Seriously were you even aware that the first site has links to anime porn?

Basically it all stacks up against you. And [B]miyukii [/B] I agree with [B]SunfallE[/B], poorly written accusations aren?t going to change my mind either. There are plenty of members here like myself who really can?t draw, and to tell the truth, don?t care if others are better than they are. It?s not something I really like to do anyway.
