Claire Posted June 20, 2007 Share Posted June 20, 2007 [FONT=Arial]According to the allergist, I'm allergic to both cats and dogs. I've never had a severe allergic reaction to either of them, though. The most that ever happens is that my eyelid will puff up and itch. Charlotte is really playful and scratches me a lot, and the scratch starts itching for a while. I'm not sure if that's a part of my allergy or not...do cat scratches usually form wheals like mosquito bites? I'm slightly worried about Goldy now. He's about ten and he weighs less than Charlotte, who isn't even a year old. Granted, Goldy is allowed to go outside and Charlotte isn't, but I can get Charlotte to play with her toys. I wish I could accurately describe the joy she brings to me... I've always had dogs and cats growing up but I think I appreciate having the companionship that much more now that I am living on my own. Like most bulldogs she is very stubborn, but Patty is too much of a baby to cause into any real trouble. I'll see if I can't get any 'real' photographs of her to post. My dark blue beta fish, has one red fin..named Sasuke...and hes emo...mostly lays at the bottom of his bowl all day...then eats like a freaken pig... 2. Fancy mouse, white and black, black covering about half of her face...Kakashi anyone? but she is sooo skittish...i put my hand hercage to pet/try to get her out, and she RUNS into her little TV house...not much like Kakashi.... I loved her to death. She was the best pet and the best friend I could have ever wanted growing up. She lived 18 long years though. My mother, little sister, and I just finished digging a grave for her about 20mins ago. No matter how much I try I just can't seem to stop crying. I know some people out there think 'get over it's just an animal', but Pebbles and Sparkles were more than that to me. I'm not trying to be Emo, but growing I really had many 2 friends the most. Basically I didn't have friends until 6th grade, so Pebbles really was my best friend and at times she was my whole world. *tears* God I'm really going to miss her. Anyway here's some pics of her. Sadly I do not. We had dogs when I was growing up along with a number of different cats. But not anymore. Though considering that Aaryanna comes over to my place at least three times a week and I bathe and groom that little fur ball of hers for her it's almost like I have a part time pet. lol I have thought about getting my own Bichon though. Because they don't shed and Aaryanna's dog is quite the sweet and affectionate little thing. Her name is paddy and we think she was abused by her previous owners, as I was about 6 when we got her and I was the only one who could get near her. she seems to be getting on in years, however. My cat is a recent aquisition. We found her as a kitten mewing in the middle of the street a couple of years ago. We brought her in the house with no intention of keeping her and I named her Motor (hey, I'm not good at this. at least it's not Black Hayate.) We call her Mo for short. Her previous owner appears to have been Satan. She becomes extremely irritable, claws me up and then begs me to feed her, after which she gorges herself, forgets to chew and vomits all over the place. Five minutes later, she wants more.
