Commission that didn't pan out, so now it's just another piece in my gallery.

This was a good chance to test out my new brushes on fur, unfortunately it still didn't come out as smooth as I'd like. Since the colours were supposed to be easily changed by the client for different colour variations the shadows and so forth were done in greyscale and the colours were just a multiply layer above those; convenient, but doesn't allow for very much colour mixing which is unfortunate.

Strange thing now is that I'm trying out painting with the pencil tool and my old default brushes and it seems to yield better results than the custom brushes I made just for that particular purpose....go figure.
