TV HBO to adapt Neil Gaiman's "American Gods"

[SeDoc]

HBO's not holding back with this one. They're planning SIX SEASONS based on the novel.
And there's a little bit of hope that the Sandman adaptation may not be dead...

Perhaps Comic Con will shed some light on both...

American Gods is pretty damn good; read it a few years ago. Hopefully HBO is able to do it justice, but they generally put out solid shows, and if they're putting so many eggs in this basket, then it should be of pretty solid quality.

Well their take on Game of Thrones has been pretty cool (though having since read it between episodes I prefer the novel) so hopefully HBO should be able to put out a decent version of American Gods too.
