ohkay, im on final fantasy 7 disc 2, and i'm supposed to go back to that place, it's where all the slums are, but that old dork in the front lost the key, so what do i do i tried doing other stuff i.e. beating emerald weapon but.. as you can tell... it didn't help :(

you don't need to go back to midgar, all there is to do in there is to get tifa's ultimate weapon, which you shouldn't waste time on until disc 3....

Actually the key is right near the entrance of bone village, around a scrap of metal lying against a wall. Also besides Tifa's ultimate weapon in wall market, u can also buy sneak gloves (for around 110,000 gil) that increases your chances of stealing, that's at the wall market weapon shop, from the bozo who sold u those batteries before.

It's Midgar. Middeel is the town in the south. Which has been destroyed by the green ... ehm (what is it in english?) ... well, this green "mako-river".

If you already were at the canon, you've just to fly over Midgar with the Highwind.
