Basically don't apply any layer effects to the akuma picture (don't lower the opactiy either), also flip it horizontally, it should look better. hmmm.... and the text needs some work, first off i don't think the color blue goes with the banner =\ try white, and maybe try outlining it with blue. Also try centering the text more when you do redo it, this way there will look like there's less empty space.

1st one is most appealing -__o. The little orange hearts were a nice touch. 2nd one colors make it look unique but all the text/typo needs to be redone, and there's alot of black space in it =\. 3rd one... hmmm.... no one uses 640x480 anymore =P so it's really just too small ^_^'. And there's really no focal point so it's more or less a texture with some text, same thing with the second wall there's no focal point :P. And don't ask why i'm posting here you know the answer *___*;.

Hmmm... image is allright once again it's a little to small and I'm not quite digging the border, or the typo for a matter of fact. The texture it self looks somewhat "cel-shaded" and reminds me of the textures in the Wind Waker.

ROFLMFAO i wasn't gonna post here again but I said i'd check back and this is too funny to pass up el syko basically what were trying to say is your image looks cut off/it doesn't blend in perfectly with the white =P, its the easiest thing to see =X. Oh well Transtic Nerve's thrid one is the best but why do I feel a major Kenshin trendness coming on oh yeah that's cuz CN is gonna air a gaybo edited version of Kenshin ^__^' well you should all watch it anyway it'll get your mind off DBZ and Digimon :rolleyes:

lol you should see one of my good layouts :rolleyes:, since i was giving this away, i was trying to stick to the same style you guys had now, but I personally just don't like, and am not that good at simple style ^_^'. I might make one new thread actually that will contain a link to one of my finished layouts (fully coded/scripted) but I don't know its back off to breakfast for me, my mama's making waffles :rolleyes:.

If you have Kazaa or Kazaa Lite I reccomend you Download: Photoshop 7.0 if for some reason that doesn't work Download Photoshop 6.0, for the most part these 2 versions of the program are the same. You could also download a program called "Paint-Shop Pro" although I wouldn't really reccomend it because Photoshop is far superior that PSP in many ways. :rolleyes:

Your probably right about the color, because as you can see the color of the bg and the color of the pic don't quite match =-P, I was originally planning on chaniging the Kenshin pic in the banner to that of a .hack//sign picture, but err that's when (like i often do) i stopped woking on the layout :rolleyes:.

Oh you mean make a big black rectangle and gaussian blur it? lol that's the way one must do it in photoshop 5.0 -____-' i never tired that but as for the pattern thing, i've seen it done before, but it's somewhat overused, especially the diagonal lines pattern. eh well thanks for the comments but I don't know after what SSJ3 (super-stupid-jack-tree?) i don't think i'm gonna finish the layout anymore ='[ not until he apologizes and learns some respect. lol well i don't think you guys want the layout anyway so I guess in all reality since I have no motivation i wouldn't finish the layout anyway =\.

It's definatly unique, I personally wouldn't use it as a sig, but I think you should just cuz it stands out and it can be easily reconginized amongst the slew of other sigs on the forum.

I just don't have neither the time nor patience to post here anymore =-] but i'll leave you all with an unfinished work I made when I was bored... its really more of a show of my airbrushing skillz and yes once again the image came out darker than it was supposed 2 be cuz, in photoshop 5.0 LE you can only save a JPEG up to a quality of 10, instead of the normal 12. :sleep:

Right James but then again, everytime i critique ones work I post more than one line and tell them how they can make their image better :rolleyes:. So I may be harsh in my words but atleast i'm helpful, and atleast I can back up what I say (@ Shift). And the only reason why I am the way I am on this board is because the best way to help someone get better is to point out every little flaw in their graphics pieces when I post at other forums where the competition owns me such as Otaku Online, they rip me apart, but it helps. So I guess you can say from experience and a way to get my own back, I do the same to many of you... So if you were all to actually read and listen to what I say it will atleast help you in some way, sort or form, I can guarantee that.

With airbrushing, usually just airbrushing something light then airbrushing something dark next to it gives off a 3D-ish look.

hey man my adivce dont post gundam fanfics here i wrote up 2 and got minimal feedback. -_-'. Everyone here seems to go for those silly digimon fanfics =X. Anyway, it's a good start but you should decide now whetehr your gonna focus on the characters or the battles, from what i've seen you should focus more on the battles cuz i havent seen much character development as of yet =P.

TIMELINE: Year 2030: Multiple holes in the ozone layer begin to become self-evident. Polar Ice Caps begin to melt at an alarming pace. Many wheather anomalies result in the death of over one million people, in less than a year. Year: 2040 Multiple tears appear within the ozone layer, and conditions on Earth worsen, there is more suffering and death, and the end of the world seems almost inevitable. Year, 2048: The Earth has long since been depleted of natural resources, and lost its ability to house human life. In a desperate move to save humanity, a group of scientists created Olympia. A massive space colony like object that now serves as home to the remnants of mankind. Survivors, Approximately: 2,000,000 ~ With Earth now nothing more than a vessel of corpses, and the success of Olympia, a new age for mankind has begun, thus marking the start of a new era A.R. 0001. Dungeon Dice is fun, but atleast in the rom, it can get somewhat boring because duels can last for a looooong time =P. Although I haven't quite beaten the game, i've only gotten past the first round of tournaments, I can tell you that the game does get progressively tougher which is a good thing ^_^". But getting level 4 monsters (Black Skull Dragon, Revolver Dragon, BEWD, etc.) can be a pain in the *** to date I have but 1 and you need atleast two level 4 monsters to even have a chance of using one =P.

Man i've only seen the first 11 eps! AJ has the worst subs but they sub the fastest so you've really gotta take your pick whether you want quality over quantity, but in the case of SEED it's hard to decide! You just keep wanting more!

many peopl dont like Initial D becuase of the CG they compare the CG in Initial D do the CG now a days which is quite frankly "dumb". -_-
