Yeah working with manga pictures to great a good looking sig is hard, because it's difficult to strike a balance between simple and [i]too[/i] simple. I'll post up a Full Metal Panic sig I made from a few manga pics maybe it will give you some ideas :P.

-_o... wow... that's the one way I never thought of doing it lol... Just feather the two images together or use the eraser/airbrush tool.

lol... it was a nice idea but the pills do need work, and a pixel font might fit this image better.

For a anime... hmmm.. dur... it's hands down Initial D -_+. Rurouni Kenshin also has a great soundtrack hmmm... Full Metal Panic also has a good OST... hmm well Initial D is #1, and after that I can't really decide x_X.

It's intresting but it looks like you faded the bigger Kenshin picture over the small kenshin picture aswell as the text. If the bigger Kenshin picture was behind it would look better and make the text easier to read =D.

Well then if it's a plain style, than I am correct in calling it plain. A image that's just one line of text and a stock image is just too plain for my tastes, now if there was one line of text maybe a quote (or a elaborated typography type thing) plus a stock image I can live with that. Anyway, the avatar is nice, but i'll still go by saying the sig is too plain.

ahhh x__X Kamui... I have a great Kamui picture (in color) that blends in spectacularly with a black background, try making a new sig out of it ---> and the sig you just made it's err too plain =\.

*confused*... I see a image... nothing in the image more of just abstract-ish stuff x___X.

Kind of plain, and what is it the 2-3 pixel border for the boxes i'm not quite gripping =\. But it's original i'll give you that.

Yeah this one is better than your previos banners you posted, i'll be waiting for your 3rd banner though =-D.

Too small =\. It's intresting but the faded picture doesn't quite flow. @ 1st Kaisuke banner @ 2nd Kaisuke Banner ---> Ooooh Simple, reminds me of my Onegai Teacher sig x__X. Add some vectors or something to that orange space. Small text is pleasent though ;)

Well Syk3 i'll agree with you and say the Red does look better because it matches Vash's wicked trench coat ^_^'. But atleast I think you can do better. Hmmm... maybe I will post something up x__X...

Only problem with it is if was to be used it would look very cut off. Also putting a little line before "Rules" and after "calender" would be better. Hmmm... red text on red BG is kinda hard to read but that should due :P. And maybe a little more spiffyness to the banner o.o? Just subtle stuff.

I like the second one better but maybe if the entire render/object was visible o_-, or is that the entire render right there? It's still not really of any use for anything =\. But it's better than your last render. I'm a big fan of shiny renders x__X so make a new render and make it look all nice and shiny and maybe i'll like it =D.

The truth is I despise tutorials, but to get started and become aquainted with the tools in your prog(s) tutorials are nice, that's about there only use but try searching for some.

Cinema 4D XL, what a nice program it was for the short time i had it ='[. You need to make the render bigger, so you can actually put a good typo on it plus it's just too small and somewhat pointless... hmmm... if you haven't already definatly experiment some more and get good at the different textures that can be created, I also reccomend tweaking around with the lighting effects -_X. But the main thing is... just render it bigger.

Take out the two small pictures, move the text closer together and more in the middle, try making another background that more matches Yugi's color scheme.

[/quote] Well I wasn't exactly reffering to you ^__^', I was reffering to many people on various forums I post at. I like the gloves on the chara in the middle picture ^__^'. But if you were to scan the images in and print them out and even just quickly ink them for us that would make it look alot cooler (I know these are just sketches and all but sill =D)

Can we start now =D!!! I tried drawing my Navi but then had to rush off to soccer practice >_>' I also have to bring my scanner up from downstairs and hook it up again but oh well =P.

Wind effect throws the stock of Jehuty off, the bg doesn't quite match either =\. Try duplicating the stalk layer applying the wind effect to it then move the original Jehuty picture over the duplicated layer if you wishto use the wind filter.

I think maybe we should allow one more person :P keep the numbers nice and even. Also this way if one of us is gone during summer vacation then we'll atleast have enough people to keep this thing going (if this RPG lasts as long as I hope it does :P!!!)

Your drawing stlye is somewhat different from what i'm accostomed to, but i've quite amazed that you have actually started a manga ^_^. I know so many people who talk about starting one but never do =\.

I'd be dissapointed if all anime just ceased to be, because after watching so many animes there isn't a form of entertainment that could really replace it =\. On the other hand I wouldn't die or anything x_X and I don't think it would drastically change who I am/What I like, I'd just find something else to do, probably fit in more time for Soccer and BBall practice. :smirk:
