Well i'm in a tough spot -_o i'm a athlete, i start for my school soccer team, and am basically known for that, lol, that's why i dont play yugioh cards as much as I like the series, that and the fact that there are probably at most like 5 other people who play in my school =P.

Sacrafice could be used for both of those though if you think long and hard about it. Sacraficing is the act of picking up your card and moving it tothe graveyard. It doesn't have to mean you pick up your card move it to the graveyard and then play a monster, that would fall into the category of summoning. correct? (feel free to argue! ^_^)

The japanese terms are a hell of alot better, saying i tribute a monster is gay.. that's why i always prefer to say sacrafice even though all the english duelists i duel against are like "wtf what's a sacrafice" -_-.

[b]CHAPTER ONE:[/b][I]Grudge Match[/I] ----------------------------- *NOTE I?M GOING TO TRY TO PROVIDE PICTURES FOR EVERY DUEL MONSTER USED IN THIS FANFIC, THE PICTURES PROVIDED WERE NOT SCANNED BY ME, SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE TO SEE PICTURES OF EACH CARD USED IN THIS FANFIC* I reccomend that when a card is played by a duelist in the fanfic just scroll to the bottom of my post, and click on the link corresponding to the card, it'll give you a much better udnerstanding of hwo the card works/looks. --------------------------- 17 year old Tenriku Gard stood up straight, he was standing at the edge of his high schools roof, looking down at the basketball courts below he was waiting for who he considered to be his only opponent to arrive. Tenriku checked the time on his silver wristwatch, it was 5 minutes to one, Hanya was late. Tenriku hated people who were late, but he hated Hanya for other reasons as well, but that didn?t matter, Tenriku and Hanya were about to settle things one on one. There would be no more confrontations in the halls, or on the soccer field. The two of them were going to leave everything they had up here. Soon after this brief thought another figure appeared from the doorway leading to the roof, carrying two disk shaped objects in his hand. He stepped out of the doorway and Tenriku easily recognized him as his hated rival Hanya, the way he walked, and the way he talked were a dead give away that the stuck up ?bastard? had arrived. Hanya- So little Tenriku, ready to bite the dust? Tenriku- Biting the dust? You?ll be eating it when I?m done with you? With the exchange of smack talk a brief pause set in, the wind picked up? Tenriku- Did you bring the duel disk system? Hanya- Of course, of course, straight from my father?s factory. It?s a shame that I?ll be letting you borrow one for this duel, but for a chance to humiliate you I guess it?s worth it. Tenriku- ? Tenriku- As you know we?ll play with 4000 Life Points, using the dated, but efficient Battle City Rules, any objections? Hanya- No matter what rules we play by I?ll still wipe the floor with your face. Hanya- Well enough talk? Who knows when old principal Palmer comes looking for us, so? Let?s GET THIS DUEL STARTEDl! Hanya threw one of the two dueling disks to Tenriku and quickly strapped on his own, Tenriku followed in suite. The two duelists then held out their hands and activated the 3D generating system; two small pieces of machinery flew off from the dueling disks and landed on the ground. With the 3D generating system now activated, all duel monsters used in the duel would appear directly in front of the two duelists, in full three-dimensional form. The monsters would both look and feel real that was the beauty of the duel-disk system? With both duelists ready to duel, the grudge match began? Hanya- The challenger should go first, so I?ll draw my card and? Hanya looks over the cards in his hand, all monster cards, this wasn?t good, Hanya liked the straight forward approach and enjoyed crushing his opponents with pure strength but to beat Tenriku he knew he would have to be cunning and resourceful. Hanya- Let?s see I?ll play this one card in defense mode. Tenriku- Maybe your not as dumb as I thought, Tenriku drew a card, it was his Queen?s Knight, just the card he needed? Tenriku- Alright Hanya, prepare yourself! I?ll lay one card face down, and play my Queen?s Knight in attack mode! (1500/1600). As the card was inserted into the duel disk a holographic projection of the Queen?s Knight appeared before the two duelists, a female warrior in red armor, wielding both a sword and shield, appeared in front of the two duelists. Tenriku- Now! Queen?s Knight! Attack the defense monster! The queen?s knight ran forward with her sword at her side she came upon Hanya?s card in defense mode revealing a Rude Kaiser (1800/1000), she instantly brought down her sword and cut the Rude Kaiser straight in two as it tried to defend from her devastating attack. Tenriku- A Rude Kaiser in defense mode? Please, don?t insult me, the Rude Kaiser is good for offensive strikes now defensive ones. Hanya- Insults come in many different forms, you may have destroyed my Rude Kaiser, but this card I just drew should help even the odds! ARISE! BATTLE OX! Hanya?s Rude Kaiser instantly appeared on the field, wielding its duel blades on it?s arms the giant green lizard was a force to be reckoned with. The Battle Ox ran at the Queen?s Knight and prepared to slice it in two with it?s massive axe, but just before the Battle Ox?s attack connected Tenriku activated the trap card he had played earlier. Tenriku- Negate Attack! The Queen?s Knight was engulfed in a white haze, then after a blinding white flash the two monsters, the Queen?s Knight, and Battle Ox, stood on opposite sides of the field both unharmed. Hanya- WHAT!? Tenriku- You?re all to predictable Hanya-san. You?ve fallen right into my trap, Hanya- ? Tenriku- I didn?t think you?d get it and even If I explain you?ll still be lost, so I?ll just show you. I?ll play my King?s Knight in attack mode! (1600/1400) Hanya- Another Knight?!? Hah it still can?t defeat my Battle Ox! Tenriku- Don?t worry there?s one more Knight coming right your way! Hanya- Hah you fool don?t you know you can?t play more than one monster per turn! Tenriku- Just shut up and watch. I?ll activate the King?s Knight?s effect! You see when fighting side by side with it?s mate, the Queens Knight, the King?s Knight allows me to special summon the almighty JACK?S KNIGHT! (1900/1000). With an attack of 1900 it has just enough power to annihilate your crummy Battle Ox! So, Jack?s Knight! I summon YOU! A tall sturdy took shape on the battlefield, dressed in silver armor and wielding a magnificent sword, the Jack?s Knight had arrived. Tenriku- Looked at the awe struck Hanya, Hanya relied to much on power and not effects to win it was that simple, and Tenriku believed this would be his key to victory. Tenriku- All right enough stalling, Jack?s Knight I command you! SILVER SWORD! Jack?s Knight ran at the battle Ox with amazing speed, all the while it?s sword was giving off a silver aura, upon arrival with the Battle Ox, the Jack?s Knight, sprinted forward quickly cutting the Battle Ox in two across the torso, but before the Battle Ox could even react the Jack?s Knight circled behind the Battle Ox and cut it in half again this time straight down the middle vertically. The Battle Ox began to fall to the ground but before impact exploded into thousands of pieces, the Jack?s Knight quickly returned to Tenriku?s side of the field? Life Points: Tenriku: 4000 Hanya: 3800 Tenriku- A small lead this is as of yet, but I think I?ll increase the gap in life points by having my King?s Knight attack your life points directly! The King?s Knight brought up his sword and swung it with tremendous strength a gust of wind was sent forth and a major dent was put into Hanya?s life points? Life Points: Tenriku: 4000 Hanya: 2200 Tenriku- And to end my turn I?ll switch my Queen?s Knight to defense mode (1500/1600). Your move Hanya? You can forfeit if you like, I do feel pity for your poor dueling skills? Besides my three monsters compared to your none, is obviously to much for a duelist of your caliber to handle. Hanya- Bravo, Bravo Tenriku, but we?ll see who has the last laugh, Hanya drew a card and a wide grin spread across his face? Hanya- You may have more monsters than me on the field Tenriku but I?m going to teach you how more monsters isn?t always a good thing, and I think my Fiend Megacyber is the perfect card to inflict this painful lesson upon you. Tenriku- (Fiend Megacyber a level 6 monster? But that means it must have an effect if Hanya plans on playing it, I guess I?ll just have to wait and see?) Hanya- Fiend Megacyber Negate tributes and come forth! (2200/1200). A Giant Yellow, metallic creature appeared on the dueling field, all around it were dark electrical sparks? Hanya- Now you know the drill? ATTACK THE JACK?S KNIGHT! Fiend Megacyber unleashed a dark mass of energy upon the Jack?s Knight, the Jack?s Knight tried to block the attack but to no avail, due to the difference in attack points. Tenriku: 3700 Hanya: 2200 Hanya- Next to go is your King?s Knight! Tenriku- (Damn it none of the cards in my hand can match up to his Megacyber in terms of attack or defense, I?ll have to go on the defensive). I?ll play this monster card in defense mode, and now I?ll call back my King?s Knight and switch him to defense mode as well. Hanya Draws a card, and then lets out a psychotic laugh? Hanya- Haha! Little Tenriku it seems that lady luck has shifted sides, and is now with me! If you think going on the defensive will help you out then thing again, for when I play stop defense all your monsters switch from defense to attack mode! All Tenriku?s monsters switch from defense to attack mode, despite Tenriku?s crys of disgust, Tenriku?s card in reverse defense mode flips over revealing a Giant Soilder of Stone (1300/2000). Hanya- Now my Fiend MegaCyber! Attack the King?s Knight! Fiend Megacyber charges up for another attack and fires a wave of dark energy at the King?s Knight, Tenriku can do nothing but watch as his Knight disappears from the field? in an instant his King?s Knight is no more. Life Points: Tenriku: 3100 Hanya: 2200 Hanya- Come on, don?t tell me that that?s the best you can do! Tenriku stared at Hanya in disgust, but then realized it wasn?t Hanya?s ?brilliant? play that had turned the tides of battle, but instead it was his own sloppy play that had lead to Hanya?s come back? Tenriku- Very well Hanya for my next move? Z-Gundam can be donwloaded off Kazaa, there are 2 versiosn the high and low quality Z_Gundam eps, teh low quality eps are actually beareable to watch, to if you cant find all hihg-quality eps then the low quality ones should be fine. (As long as yo udont pump them up to full screen).

Bushido is roughly translated to "the way of the warrior" it was like a strict edict or code that was followed by many warriors back in ancient japan. I discovered the meaning of Bushido accidenlty while reasearching the game bushido blade! :laugh: , as fpr the next chapter =\. I've written just about all of it up but i'm not quite pleased with it so i;m debating whether to release it now as it is or to wait =\.

Haha no "Bump" is a common way of drawing more attention to a thread, this thread was going into the grinder, and I spent some time writing this so to draw more attention to the thread i posted bump, the term bump isnt used alot onthis forum, but on many other forums it is a common site. :rolleyes:

You just need to go more in depth with your battles, explain the mobile suits he's fighting, take time to describe the gundams each action, like this: "...Trowa manuevered Heavyarms to the right and unleashed a barrage of missiles at the incoming Zaku II, the missilies collided with the Zaku II and sent it spiraling backwards..."

You have an idea here, but it's too loosely put together not much description try doing this over, and dont be to anxoius to jump into the action! You need to develop the story and characters a bit first!

The animation quality is definatly better than Kenshin, and is slightly better than FMP =P.

hehe thanx but you should know that Coordinators is actually a borrowed concept =\ I took it from Gundam SEED, although the way my Coordinators function is closer to a newytype. Also in Gundam SEED more or less the entire ZAFT army is made up of Coorindators =P so, by minimizing it to 13 im going for something more original, although it has some borrowed concepts =P.

Out here in space there are no second chances, whether it be on board a Battleship or piloting a mobile suit, there is no room for error. Lack of experience is no excuse; many of the soldiers being recruited by both the Earth Federation and ZAFT are nothing more than young boys and girls in their late and early teens? Hah I never thought the war would come down to this, but then again I should have known better, the war between the ?Feddys?, as we like to call the Earth federation, and us ZAFT has been raging on for a time span of about one and a half years, many of the once prosperous space colonies are now uninhabited or in most cases no longer exist, as they have been the brutal victims of the Earth Federation?s relentless mobile suit raids? But it should come as no surprise that, during this horrific war the Earth Federation has suffered as well, the Earth? Is that so? -.o? Well most of what i've read said nothing really major is going to happen to DK/ it will still be made for both GBA abd GC, but i'll have to check up on what you said.

Wrong DK still belongs to Nintendo =], alot of those games wre a combonation of Rare and Nintendo, although susally published under Rare's name, so Nintendo will be retaining certain titles such as Donkey Kong! But bye bye Perfect Dark and and Conker =\ most probably bye bye Banjo Kazooie as well ='{. nevertheless the GC is still a great buy dang those hoes at microsoft :mad:

Your question is irrelevant considering the fact i that in my first post I stated i've only seen episodes 1-7, we also have confirmed that I get the episodes from you, so there is no need for me to keep up on the latest downloads :p but anyway Anime Junkies is fansubbing SEED and i beleive there on episdoe 10 or 11 =P, although it's been stated throughout the Gundam Community that their (AnimeJunkies) subs, aren't 100% correct and are somewhat distorted.:p

i'm not sure if this thread was made before but how many of you have seen Initial D? Dang now this is one kick ***** anime =] one of my favs to be exact, what more could a guy ask for it's street racing at it's best, the cg races are kinda old and look outdated compared to the CG now a days, but this anime will always remain as one of the top in my heart lol. Even if you don't know anything about cars i really reccomend this anime, everything such as the car specs and drifts are real and can be done in real life, so not only will you enjoy a awesome anime but you may actually learn something worthwhile! I really hate summarrizing things so this will be mad short: Initial D is basically about a young high school boy named Takumi Fujiwara, and his struggles with becoming a street racer for his local team the Akina Speedstars, and he races more and more he begins to like racing, but also begins to go up against even tougher and tougher opponents, how long will Takumi's win streak last, and what about his mysterious girlfriend Myogi? -.o? Aite hopefully that was short but somewhat to the point =P.

-.o I'm probably not nearly as good as many of you are in Tekken, whether it be Tekken tag or 4, but I'm sure i'd give you all a run for your money in more of the old school Fighting games such as street fighter or mortal combat, or even in the arcade for matter of fact -.+. Blah as for crazy combos a while back I was at the arcade, and man that was some tite **** some people were pulling off in the jumbo Tekken Tag machine *.*

This forum is pretty active, so I was wondering why don't you guys start a Forum RPG of some sort? I know you've already got your "Adventure Arena" which is a nice thing, but I'm talking about one big RPG that has it's own section. =o oh well just an idea, i'm just wondering if you guys already have one in the works -.o?.
