1. This is called a plot hole, my friends.
2.
Originally posted by Juuthena Also, 'Girl's Not Grey' by AFI reminds me alot of Trunks from DragonBallZ. The whole rhythem seems to fit his style alot.
If you've ever seen the video for "Girl's Not Grey" there is actually a girl that wears an anime mask and runs around with a Pokemon-esque creature. Very strange, but I love it. :p Mentioning AFI, you reminded me of another song from "Sing the Sorrow" (great album) called "Paper Airplanes (Makeshift Wings)." It also reminds me of anime for some reason. Check out the lyrics here. I can't think of a specific anime that it relates to, maybe Trigun, but just anime in general. Any thoughts?
3. I know that we arent supposed to have "favorite" topics, but I thought this was different. Don't think that I don't know the rules just because I am new. I have a tendency to like characters that have smaller parts in anime, but I also like a lot of more important characters too. A good look and an interesting background are always a good start. Supreme Kai(DBZ): I like Kaioshin's character design. His clothes and hair are really cool. His powers, though not the strongest, are a little unique: the halting power and the transportation to anywhere in the universe. Maybe another part of the reason I like Kaioshin is because he was so doubtful that anyone could defeat Majin Buu. I actually went on to spend the $8 for the Supreme Kai action figure. Tsukasa(.hack//sign): Tsukasa is different from a lot of typical anime characters. He always looks depressed and barely smiles. The bad experiences he's had in his past in the real world make me feel connected to him for some reason. Further, his costume and staff are pretty cool. Kohaku(InuYasha): Kohaku has an awesome demon exterminator's outfit with a very cool scythe-like weapon. Another reason I like Kohaku is because he has a sad story: being killed in front of his sister and then being forced to be her enemy. It's sad. Vash(Trigun): Vash is an original character and that is why I like him. Not only does he have cool nicknames like "...The Stampede" and "The Humanoid Typhoon," but he is compassionate and cool-looking. It's ironic that Vash is so feared even though he refuses to kill anyone. Alucard(Hellsing): This guy is just awesome. You have to be cool to be a vampire with your name being Dracula spelled backwards. Alucard can regenerate himself and acts totally evil even though he is working for good. Well that's enough of my ranting for today. I could go on like this forever, but you've probably already lost interest in my opinions. So, does anyone want to add their input?
4. A while ago I downloaded an InuYasha video that used the song "Crawling in the Dark" by Hoobastank and it was pretty cool. It didn't spoil anything either by showing shots from too far in the series.
5. Is that all? That's too bad because Hellsing is a great series. Thanks man.
6. I'm trying to download episodes of Hellsing and I can't guite find how many there actually are. Does anyone know?
7. I think a live-action Dragonball Z movie would be so stupid! The heads, the hair, the eyes, the noses, the muscles, everything: would all look ridiculous on a real person. I hope that the movie plans fall through!! Bleh!
8. I watched the new episode of DBZ on Cartoon Network today, and a lot of it was flashbacks from Supreme Kai's past. Well, I've seen the Bardock movie and noticed that they used some of the same scenes for the Frieza saga. Did they do the same thing with this? Supreme Kai is one of my favorite characters and that would be great if this was so.
9. This is something I just noticed recently from playing OoT on the Wind Waker bonus disk. All that time that Zelda was in Ganondorf's castle, Sheik is running around Hyrule helping Link through his journey. Everyone knows that at the end you find out that Sheik was Zelda the whole time. So, why did she need saving if she could escape whenever she wanted?
