I'm also very excited about this game. That's a lot to say for me too, since I'm not really into straight racing games. The graphics for this are just way too good to not buy it. Am I the only one who thinks it looks like that Octopus man is dancing? :laugh:

The new ideas in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! are amazing: you can pick two different characters [i]and[/i] a cart. For instance, you could go with Diddy Kong, Birdo, and Peach's vehicle. Of course the collective weight of your characters and the cart affect your speed. You wouldn't want to go with Bowser, Donkey Kong, and DK's cart because that would be a lot o' weight. Also, each character has their own special items (8 I think) alongside your usual bananas, shells, and the like. In mid-drive, your two characters can do a neat little switch where they swing around the sides of the cart simultaneously allowing you to use the other's items. This is cool too: while driving along side an opponent's cart your secondary character can lean over and grab that oppenents items right from their hands. :wigout: All of these new innovations in the Mario Kart franchise sound great, but on a lot of sites and magazines they are saying that it is too slow. I saw some of the gameplay footage and it doesn't look bad at all. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Sega is really trying to push Sonic and pals down everyone's throats, what with the new anime, chocolate candy :eek:, McDonald's toys, and not to mention the ton of games that came out/are coming out this year. At least Sonic Heroes is looking good so far.

[/B][/QUOTE] That guy's name is Suzaku. My favorite fight scenes would have to be anything between Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru. Not only do they look awesome, but they both have really cool attacks. I like that whip that Sess uses (the one that comes out of his fingers). :devil: I also really liked the fight between Yusuke and Jin in the tourney (haha I said tourney) in Yu Yu Hakusho. Jin's wind abilities made it seem like he was invulnerable to any of Urameshi's attacks.

I bought this preview disc on the day that it came out at my local Target location. I agree with you on everything Semjaza Azazel, Sonic DX sucks really bad. The C-stick camera is really wierd and annoying and the game really isn't that fun. The other games, thankfully, are really cool. I love Viewtiful Joe and Soul Calibur II. Too bad you can't play as Link, though.

The show is not as old as it may look. The artists riskily chose to go with an old style of character art. (That guy with the huge chin and glasses and the little girl look like they are from "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" lol) I've only seen one episode of Kikaider and I like the story, I think.

I don't see what the big deal is. It looks good to me, especially the Buu character model. This game will be like controling an episode of the show. I'm sure that this game will play much better and be more in depth (34 characters!!!) than its predecessor. The backgrounds do look a little wierd so hopefully it will be a bit more polished before it is released in 6 months. They've got lots of time to make this great.

Within the last few years I've begun to hate my usual music of choice: rap. My favorites were Ja Rule, DMX, etc. Pretty much I just got sick of hearing the monotony, stupid lyrics, and lack of effort in the production of it. So then I started to like more R&B such as Dru Hill (still a favorite though I hate to admit it). And now we are in the present where I am listening to punk bands. I hear of most of them from my older brother and then I download their songs. It surprises me that I am not bothered by screaming in music anymore. lol [b]On the issue of lyrics...[/b] I first need to like the way the song sounds, then I worry about the lyrics. For instance, on my voyage of downloading every Something Corporate song that exists I stumbled upon 3 that had the dumbest lyrics I possibly have ever heard: "If You See Jordan," "Drunk Girl," and "Babies of the 80s." I quickly deleted these three songs from my computer because they were so stupid that they were not worth a second listening.

The whole "I'm Sorry I'm Leaving EP" is accoustic: 1. I'm Sorry I'm Leaving 2. Hold 3. Jessie & My Whetstone 4. Take Our Cars Now 5. I Melt With You 6. The Way His Collar Falls All of these songs are really good, but I prefer their non-accoustic music.

Another thing with anime is that they ususally know when to end it before it gets old and boring. American cartoon makers would make their shows go on forever if they could.

Something Corporate sounds NOTHING like Finch. I have all of both bands songs downloaded and I don't see how you could make comparisons. But anyway, my favorites by them are: Forget December, Konstantine, Fall, Hurricane, I Want to Save You, Not What it Seems, Good News, and Punk Rock Princess. They really are better than you think.

[i]See You[/i] is also my favorite song of theirs. But I really can't think of any of their songs that I don't like. Some stand-outs for me are [i]"Ups and Downs"[/i], [i]"A Drag in D Flat"[/i], [i]"My Sweet Fracture"[/i], [i]"Choke"[/i], [i]"Shoulder to the Wheel"[/i], [i]"Rocks, Tonic, Juice, Magic"[/i], [i]"Sell My Old Clothes, I'm Off to Heaven"[/i], [i]"Third Engine"[/i], [i]"Banned From the Back Porch"[/i]. Plus every song from "Stay What You Are". You might like Something Corporate too if you like Saves the Day. They use pianos and have a lot of amazing songs.

I saw two of the subbed movies with Brolli (1st and 3rd). The first he appeared in was my favorite. The story was awesome with him and Paragus. In the third movie, it was not really Brolli though. He was a genetically made version of him that eventually got mutated and stupid looking. I also liked the Tapion movie.

I like anime because I like art. You can't watch any show on TV and say "Wow, FRIENDS has a great art style!" Also, I like the fantastical characters that you can't really execute well in a show with real actors. I get made fun of by my friends for being an almost-18 year old that still watches cartoons, but I always say, "I don't like cartoons, I like anime. If you would just watch it once you will see that these aren't any ordinary, plotless, and corny cartoons."

[color=teal][b]Anyone like the band Saves the Day? They are definitely one of my favorites. On their [URL=http://www.savestheday.com/]official site[/URL] they announced that the new CD should be out this September, entitled "In Reverie". I'm hoping it will have the same sound as "Stay What You Are", though I do like the other CDs too. Personally, I can't wait. :toothy:[/b][/COLOR]

I love the music from Legend of Zelda: [i]Ocarina of Time[/i] and [i]Majora's Mask[/i]. The opening song in OoT is great. Does anyone know if it has a name? For anime, InuYasha and .hack//sign are my favorites. The J-Pop artists from IY, even though they are mostly girls, is something different from what I hear normally and it's quite refreshing. They are Do as Infinity, Aikawa Nanase, V6, BoA, dream, Hitomi, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Every Little Thing (all worth a dl). Also, I like the music from .hack//sign because it's so creepy; very strange, but I like it.

:cross: Oh wait a minute I'm an idiot! I guess 6 years wasn't enough. Comienzo means I begin. I got the verbs "comer" and "comenzar" confused for a second there. Brain fry!!! :laugh: Sorry about that.

"Without You Here" by Finch is a really good song. If you haven't heard of them they are kinda like an alterna-punk type band. The choruses are amazing. Actually any random pick from their whole CD would be a good one.

In "The Leaving Song Part II", it is not Latin in which Davey is speaking, but actually Spanish. I've taken Spanish for 6 years now and here's a little translation of what he is saying: Yo he estado aqui muchas veces antes y regreso (I have been here many times before and I return) Y regreso aqui otra vez y comienzo (And I return here again and I begin) So there you have it.

I'm downloading the demo now and I cannot wait to play! Ocarina of Time IS the best game ever and this is a great new way to experience it. That would be amazing if Nintendo would/could put these games on the GBA by some miracle. Well, I just played it and I need more!

I'm sure that there will not be a third Zelda title on the Gamecube. The reason that they can get another title out is because they will be using the same graphics and engine. If they were to start from the ground up on a realistic-looking game they would need several years to do so. Maybe (and hopefully) we will get to see this on the GCN's successor. Anyway, did they even START the second one yet?

I think that both Good Charlotte and New Found Glory are both horrible bands. I really don't see what the big fuss is with them because I haven't heard a song by either of them that is close to being decent. Plus, GC is #1 on TRL. How did that happen??? Maybe that's why I don't watch Mtv anymore.

Other great songs with the "new sound" that aren't on the regular Sing the Sorrow CD are "Synesthesia", "Now the World", and "Reiver's Music". All three of these songs are amazing, in my opinion. Others that I like are "Paper Airplanes (Makeshift Wings)" "Silver and Cold" Dancing Through Sunday" "Bleed Black".... lol I love the whole thing!!!
