Now I'm confused. Are we in space or are we sleeping and waiting for the armor thing? (BTW the FF7 song you were talking about, was it Aeris's theme or the other one?) Also, If that was the whole RPG, I'm going to go laugh myself into a coma. I mean, that looked like the beginning to me! XD _________________ Vince looked out a window at the stars. He yawned and polished his gun, while muttering under his breath 'I could have done this at home' He found Rei and patted him hard on the back. Vince: So? Where do we go from here? Rei didn't answer, but instead just stared in awe at the view. Vince moaned and walked back to his seat. Everyone there was just staring out the window, as if Rei's amazement was contaigeous. He opened a briefcase he had brought along and started reading a newspaper. 'They'll be in la la land for a few hours.' he thought to himself.

About an hour in working on the ship, Vince walked down the street near where it was being made, grumbling something about how little kids should be kept in tubes until they're older. Vince: throw me back a wrench. Rei: took you long enough. Where you been? Vince: Not here. Throw me a @#$ wrench. Vince instead grabbed one out of a toolbox and started working. Vince: Somebody cleaned up after we killed the assasin. Rei: What do you mean? Vince: Where they were swithing off Trent for Eris. No weapons, bodies, nothing. It wasn't Corpse cause there were'nt any outlines or detectives. Rei: Well, it doesn't sound like it's any of our buiseness anymore. Vince: Yeah, but still... He looked over to see Trent and Eris working together and leaned over to Rei. Vince: (whisper) They're past the whole denial thing, right? Rei: More than you'd care to know.

Ryden rushed back to Hoshi "What?" Hoshi was breathing hard as she ran away from the crater. "Xaru, he is alive." Ryden's face shot an expression of fear, anger, and shock all at one time. He was about to speak when he heard the new dragoon yellng "WE MUST HURRY" Her mighty dragon lost altitude and landed on the ground as she ran over as well. "My dragons been very badly wounded. We need to get help." Ryden searched the area for Zo. He caught a glimpse of her before, when Xaru cut the bars, so he knew she had to be close.

As soon as everyone got outside, Vinc turned away from the rest of the group. Vince: I'll be back later. Rei: Where're you goin? Vince: If you want to die, go ahead and ask me again. He walked to the edge of a street and lit a match. almost immediately, a car drove up and Vince got in. The car sped off with Vince inside, leaving the group baffled.

"This has gone on LONG ENOUGH!!" yelled Ryden. He held up his fist and concentrated his energy into it. His fist trembled and winds whirled around it, until it started to glow. His hand glew brighter and brighter. his knees started to buckle. His other arm went limp the winds around his fist grew. Finally, the winds stopped growng and the fist stopped growing brighter. "It's all here. All the strength, power, everything I got, in this... one shot." Xaru was holding back and Ryden knew it. He had to put an end to this before it was too late. Xaru charged, pike outstreached, on a direct course for Ryden. when he was just a yard away, Ryden jumped just high enough to evade the pike. Ryden grabbed Xarus face with his loaded hand and pinned him to the floor. Xaru struggled to release Rydens grip, his pike lodged into Rydens already open wound. The cement started to crack and split as the winds picked up drasticly. Ryden clenched his teeth and then started screaming "GUUUUUUUST!!!" The winds all shot into Xaru, driving him farther and farther into the ground. Xaru yelled in pain as the violent winds tore at him and drove him into the ground. Pure chaos filled the room until finally, the winds stopped coming, Ryden's hand stopped glowing. Everything had stopped. The hole was too deep to see Xaru anymore. Hoshi and Hiei stood in awe as Ryden collapsed onto his back, gasping for breath. Xaru's condition remained a mystery.

The two teams sped off and Roy immediately went the nearest people to ask about the figure. Vince grabbed his arm and sped off. Roy: what are you doing? Vince: This guy hasn't been killing as randomly as I first guessed. All his victoms have been sorted into three main estates about three blocks from here. My guess is thats where he's headed Ivrene: Why didn't you say anything before? Vince: I didn't want to ruin the suprise. They sped off, catching small glimpses of the figure in head of them. They came to a steep hill where the figure had jumped off. They skidded down the hill as something small was thrown towards them. Vince: EVERYBODY DOWN! They jumped to the sides and the small object exploded on impact. Vince tumbled down to the bottom and continued running. Vince: Damn! He knows we're following him! Now he could be headed anywhere! They continued the chase, only going on the small glimpses they got.

Ryden cocked his arm back and flew in towards Xaru. As he came in, Xaru put the flat side of his pike up to guard himself. Ryden threw his punch and it hit the pike hard. The pike vibrated and sung like a canary, as if the very fabric of the metal was attacked. Ryden then turned and hit Xaru's pike with a hard kick. He had planned to shatter the pike with enough of these attacks. Xaru lifted his pike away from Ryden and kicked him hard in the collar bone. Ryden was knocked back into the ground and richoshayed into the wall. He got up and charged again, arm cocked. Xaru shot forward at the last second with his pike outstretched. In a blink of an eye, Ryden dodged and kneed Xaru hard in the stomach. Ryden had no idea how he dodged it, or how he knew to counter with a knee. It didn't matter to him as he brought his fist down on Xaru's head. Xaru plumeted and landed an the ground. His arms outstreached as he called upon the muscle burst. he shot up and struck Ryden in the stomach with the sharp end of his pike. A followup kick to the face sent Ryden careening into the wall. Ryden weakly positioned himself in an offensive position on the wall, having been deeply wounded by the pike. He shot forward and struck Xaru with a hard right. A newfound rage on his face, he called on the speed of wind and started wildly thrashing at Xaru. he ended with a kick to the stomach and drove him into the ground. Xaru swung his pike and knocked Ryden off, leaving a deep gash in the side of his face. Ryden landed with a thud as Xaru sped over and stomped hard onto the deep wound in Ryden's stomach. Ryden screamed in pain as Xaru continued to put on pressure. Ryden held up his hand and summoned a gust that knocked Xaru into the celing. Hoshi and the others stood by and watched the brutality. Hoshi finally spoke. "They're going to kill each other fighting like that!" "thats the idea." responded Hiei. "Ryden stopped holding back after the first blow. I wish to say the same of Xaru but-" Hiei looked hard at Xaru, who was now slashing at the roof sending derbis raining on Ryden. "But something just doesn't feel right." Hoshi looked from Hiei to Xaru, and then to Ryden. "Ryden..."

PS Im not too familiar with instrument so 1st, is the bass that huge gutar/violin looking thing? 2nd, will your guitar be a country guitar (Like Kikider's (thats the only way I can remember it)?) or will it be an electric guitar? Ryden chuckled "Hey, you don't have to worry about me, there are still too many things I need to do before I go under." He looked up at the celing "semper in angaria cordis pulsum tangite mecum omnes plangite." Hoshi looked confused "what does, that mean?" Ryden smiled and looked at her. "I'll tell after all this is over." Hoshi was about to ask him more, but at that moment Xaru stepped back in. Xaru: Are you ready? Ryden: Can you get any uglier? Xaru: Arrogant to the end, I see. They are last words. The bars grew faint and Ryden stepped through them. The bars then solified again behind him. They walked out (In the oppisite direction of Serena) and Hiei and Hoshi were left inside the cell.

Vince: *long yawn* if we just go to a bar, almost any drunk there will pay for a hired gun. The only problem is making sure they got the cash and don't plan to move. If that doesn't work then it just comes to hanging around in the subway until an opertunity appears. Rei: So, youre in? Vince: Works for me.

Ryden walked forward "This, transformation. More toys? You sure are persistant." Xaru smiled and tossed his glaive aside. "No toys. One on one, no strings attatched. Do I hear a challenge?" Ryden nodded. "Hoshi's to damn green, and Hiei isn't talking, so it looks like your mine." Xaru laughed "You seem confident, what waits for you if you lose?" Ryden held up his fist "If you win, I'll have already been dead. The only question here is, should I knock you sensless or should I knock some sense into you?"

"Wait." A grin appeared on Ryden's face. "Gas, travels by air." Hoshi interveined. "Ryden! Don't you get it? They've Thought of it! Just let me take the kudoku." Ryden knocked her back. She looked up suprised. "No YOU dont get it! You are my pupil and I am responsable until you are trained!" Ryden folded his arms. "Anyway, there are two very vital things they forgot. I know for sure, cause it isn't here, and I still have my dragoon spirit." He pulled his off his neck and it showed brightly. Hiei reached into his pocket and pulled out his. Ryden grasped his brightly "Hiei, if that other thing doesn't work, we rush Xaru when he comes for Hoshi." Hiei spat "Is that all the stradegy we can come up with? Fine then." He nodded and they both transformed. When Xaru came to check on them, he was suprised to see two dragoons waiting for him. Hoshi: What the hell is this? Ryden: Hi, you come back so soon? Hoshi: what do you plan to do? Break out and die with a big bang? Ryden: No, thanks for the idea but we're just waiting for you to come and play. Xaru flared his nostrils. "What makes you think I wont just kill you now? What exactly would keep me from just putting you to sleep and taking Hoshi anyways?" Ryden gave a challenging grin as he walked up to the bars. "Nothing, if thats how you want to win." Xaru grabbed Ryden's shoulders and pulled him into the poisonous bars. "You mind saying that again?!" Xaru let go and Ryden backed up and fell onto one knee. "Heh, Youre like a stupid little kid with a new toy. Are you weak?" Ryden stood up. "Do you need your toys to get by?" Xaru punched the bars "SHUT UP!" Ryden readied him self for an attack, his eyes glowing the emrald green of his armor. "Come on. Shut me up if you're so strong." Hiei stood up as well and readied himself. Hoshi stood up "You're throwing your life away! Shut up and he may still spare you!" Ryden smirked back at her, if I do die, I want you to remember that there are many things more important than death." Xaru was furious "YOU ABNOXIOUS PUNK!!"

Ryden had let down Hoshi before, he had run and left her to the wolves. Hoshi had something to prove to Xaru and Ryden knew that he couldn't interfear, but that was no excuse. Ryden took his Sheathed sword of the wind off his back and drew it's hilt to his forehead. "I vowed to protect the rights of all humans by your light but..." his voice trailed off as he lay it in Xaru's hands. "Good. And, the dagger?" Ryden looked confused. "How'd you-" "The dagger." inturrupted Xaru. Ryden reached back onto a long, thin lump sewn into the back of his shirt. he tore it away and revealed he dagger underneath. He placed it into Xaru's hands. "You have my word that I will not try anything, in exchange for Hoshi's safety."

Ugh. I blab too much Ryden unsheathed his sword and raised it diagonally across his face. "Like cunning and wisdom, training and experience are two different things. To cut through all the wise man crud, I favor experience." Hoshi nodded and drew her whip. The two remained still and silent for a sign for the battle to begin. The lights flickered, and they had started. Ryden charged with his sword held high as Hoshi uncoiled the whip and lashed at Ryden's face. It hit dead on, but Ryden didn't stop charging. He plant ed his sword into the ground and brought his elbow into Hoshi's face, but stopped it before it hit her. "I always considered the whip the fast weapon used slow. Use it like a long arm to take things." Ryden jumped back and charged again. Hoshi lashed the whip again, but this time it coiled around Ryden's sword. Ryden stopped and struggled to keep his sword, but then ran towards Hoshi and brought his sword to her neck and stopped. "Learn to dodge attacks. be light on your toes and NEVER anchor yourself." Hoshi uncoiled her whip and jumped back. "How do you know this? Are you trained with the whip?" Ryden scratched his head. "Never held one in my life. I'm just going on what really bugs me when I fight one." They continued this for quite some time, attacking differently and what not. Ryden readied himself again as they stood on opposite sides of the room. "Lets try this again, but this time, I WON'T stop." Hoshi gave a small nod as Ryden charged forward. Hoshi lashed her whip and charged as well. Rden slashed and they stood again on opposite sides of the room once again. They stood silently as Ryden felt something tense around his neck. He turned around to see Hoshi with the whip. He grinned as he uncoiled the whip. "Strange, I thought I cut this." Hoshi grinned back. "Learn to dodge the enemys attacks." A sense of respect was in the air as Ryden sheathed his sword and Hoshi coiled her whip. "You learn fast."
