Reno 911

Wow, it's been a while since I've made a thread.. I'm pretty sure some of you know what this show is about, but I'll make a summary anyway. Reno 911! is a show on Comedy Central that is basically a spoof on shows like Cops. It's staged like some sort of reality show, but it's a fictitious story (As far as we know) with poorly trained cops and breakers of the law who look like they deserve to be more on Jerry Springer than anything. And, of course, it is set in Reno, the biggest little city on Earth (Or so the sign claims..). This show was originally a pilot on Fox, or so I heard, but they didn't pick the series up. I can't see why, though. It's one of those shows with a unique brand of humor that you really don't find very often. I suppose we can just blame it on Fox's poor planning and scheduling skills. I truly love this show, and I have since I first saw the commercial where officer Garcia shoots into the dark room and accidentally hits someone at his surprise birthday party.. You kinda have to see it to get it. But it's one of those shows that stays fresh, no matter how many DUI tests they perform or how many times they bust some trailer park weirdo for posession. The entire homeland security fiasco was just too much.. I can't believe
those training people were actually frauds. And that oriental woman.. What was her name..? S. Kim. She turned out to be a guy. That was ironic.
Well, this season's over. But now we have Kid Notorious and new South Park episodes to hold me over until season two of Reno 911!. What do you all think about the show?
  2. And so the climax builds. I'm liking where this has gone and where it is going, 86. It's a sweet story, and the sentences have started to flow a little better now. The chapter was a little bit short, but as long as the next one comes soon enough I will have no problem with this fact. You're being very descriptive in the writing as well. Though I think you may want to put another section breaker around the middle of that big old section in the middle of it. It looks like too large of a section in comparison to the rest of them. Post the next one soon, Laura!
  3. Actually, it seems whenever I like a song my peers all turn on me and my preference of music. This is mostly found with my passion for Japanese music. I am labeled a nerd and a geek with horrible taste in tunes because I listen to foreign music. J-pop and J-rock just appeal to me, I'm not entirely sure why, and what other people thing is of little or no importance to me. Also, it seems that whenever I like a popular American singer or group, they all suddenly die and fade away or their loyal fanbase crumbles for whatever reason. This situation is not frequent with me, though. The majority of American music does not appeal to me. It's not that I am embarassed to listen to J-pop and J-rock-- I take pride in it. It's just annoying that the masses frown upon my passion for Japan in general. That's as close as I get to being "embarassed" about music. If I listened to the Teletubbies theme song and rocked out to it, that would be an embarassing guilty pleasure on my part. But that is far from what I listen to.
  4. I've had this game for almost two years now, I believe, and it hasn't been one of those games I master and forget. I frequently revisit it and attempt getting a high score. The levels are vast with a lot of gags in them, and the locations are just like how they were in the show and are abundant. Of course, not everything is where it originally was in the series, but things are always inconsistently moving and changing on The Simpsons. My favorite level is DownTown. It's easier to navigate than some of the levels, and the locations you drive to are quite fun. The Legitimate Businessman's Club, Springfield International Airport, The World's Largest Magnifying Glass (Not a location you are told to take someone to, but it's there).. They all bring back memories of some of my favorite episodes.
GodOfDeath originally wrote: My cousions and I play it. It is funny but it needs better cel shaded graphics. then It could be one of my favorite games. My fav charicter is Professer Frink because he is fast and just weird. (good combo.) or Sometimes Im Lovejoy. his car is just funked up, dont you think.
I don't think the graphics were intended to be cel-shaded. At least not on the Gamecube version. There's a hint of cel-shading in there, but I don't consider it to be authentic. Yes, Frink is my favorite as well. His car does that cool blue blur effect, and he has some of the funniest sound bytes in the game (At least to me).. Lovejoy is not high on my list of favorite Road Rage characters. He's funny on the television series, and The Book Burning Mobile is a fun car to look at, but he's too slow and bulky for my liking. Why is he burning Little Women, anyway? What's wrong with that book?
xXchaosfaerieXx originally wrote: My brother rented The Simpsons Hit and Run. It's so mean!!! You can run over old people!!!
Oh, but that's the fun of it. Taking advantage of senior citizens and small children by hitting them with your trashed up pink Sedan is the funniest thing in the world. I'm a cruel, cruel person with a sick mindset.
Inuluvr1 originally wrote: What was your highest score?
The high score in my file is $11,450. In fact, all of my high score chart is my territory, except for fourth, which is owned by that pre-set person with $10,000. Actually, I like The Simpsons: Hit and Run more. Its level of freedom and even more extensive plethora of in-jokes and gags are what draws me to it more than Road Rage, though they are both games. My main problem with Hit & Run is that the driving is a little more sluggish than Road Rage, but at the same time cars would get barely tapped and sent flying in the first Simpsons next-gen game.
  5. Yes, I entered as well, and I did not win (Though the second place guy looks just like me only older and bears the same given name as I have). I sort of ended rushing my last few pages because of the deadline, and I didn't use great materials, (Can you say computer paper with a pen going over mechanical pencil lines?) but I'm definitely gonna reenter one in January and persist until I at least get some sort of honorable mention.. I did, however, get a certificate from TokyoPop with my name on it regarding me as a participant in the second contest. I'm sure everyone got one of these, though. Oh, Ninja-Magus, I believe your manga was very good, but I noticed that in your text there were some rather light typographical errors, mostly in punctuation (No, not the lack of periods. Some people do that intentionally). That may have contributed to the not-picking issue. But what's passed is passed, and you just have to try again with a revised storyline and art or something. Now I know this is coming farther in advance than last time around, and I know what I should and shouldn't do in this contest. I feel more ready and more prepared, which may help me in the long run. You have to realize, people, that several of the winners were between 20 and 40 year old. We are all fresh and young, and do not have as much experience with this sort of thing yet. I'm glad the next one is coming so soon. I'm eager to begin my new project. Maybe by then I'll have a scanner so I can show it all on OtakuBoards.
  6. My brother is somewhat into anime, though legos are his big obsession. The Japanese stuff is mine. He likes to watch DVDs with me, and talk about anime, but he won't really care if he doesn't see a series all the way through. In fact, he really doesn't care at all, despite the fact that he typically pays for the stuff. He particularly likes One Piece and .hack//SIGN, though he likes to read my Excel Saga manga. My dad likes Speed Racer.. Because of remembering it being on television when he was but a lad. Strangely enough, for the past few weeks, he's also watched Rurouni Kenshin on Cartoon Network with me. He intentionally mispronounces things to irritate me. I've learned to live with it, though. My mom... Geh. She'll watch it in the corner of her eye if I'm watching some while she is doing something, but she never comments on it anymore. Back when I watched horrible dub series on Fox and KidsWB she would point plotholes and stupid things out. She's stopped recently, though, considering it is now my brother and I who do the heckling. My parents will absolutely not pay for anime unless it's for a special occasion. I'm not sure why. My brother gets legos sometimes for no reason (And I take the cash.. Heh heh.), yet it is never I who receives free manga. So, yeah, I have some other otaku in my household, but very casually so.
  7. Well, it's not just Totally Spies and Teen Titans that mimic anime. To an extent, Jackie Chan Adventures does a deal of "freak-out expressions" such as the large round surprised eyes and the mouths that take up where the chin should be. There was another show in this style, I think, but every detail about it is lost in my mind. I've seen about... Oh, one or two episodes of this show and I found that it is a generic action series with the Japanese Animation style, with little substance and a plot that, from what I've seen, consists of stand-alone episodes with no major villain or anything. (This is coming from a guy who's sat through an hour of this show) The characters are all stereotypical with voices that would be considered sucky even by ADV standards. But I suppose, for a young child, this American anime appear pretty much the same as the real deal and is more child-friendly than many anime. You, and only you, decide what you watch on television. It's not like you are tied to a chair and ordered to watch Totally Spies or you die. And that is the end of my rather short rant.
  8. This reminds me of South Park, in a gory-and-proud-of-it way. The only way I'm offended is 'cause I'm not in it. Unless I'm that spammer person. Bleh. "Consider yourself cookied" is probably the most hilarious, intentionally corny line I've ever seen. The slow framerate/overall speed thing doesn't bother me. I was exposed to Daily Comics made by our local DragonWarrior at an early OtakuBoards age (As in when I first logged onto OB), and I find the style to be humorous and that it gives the banner style. 9.7/10 The spammer's sprite could be a little higher quality, I think, but that's just me.
  9. Yeah, actually, I have a game that drew me into video games, if not technology in general. Back in 1997, on my birthday, my mother and father bought me a Super Nintendo Entertainment System, my very first console. Yes, I know, Nintendo 64 was out by then. My parents thought I wouldn't "get in" to video games, though, (Wow, they were off) so they went for the cheaper system to save some cash. Well, that was when SNES was being phased out, so all the games were going for cheap. With the console came Kirby's All Stars, a disturbingly simple yet enjoyable game that is probably one of my favorite Super Nintendo games ever. It was just a good starter game, a gateway game, I think. Not too difficult, but challenging enough for a beginning gamer to spark their interest. The wide variety of attacks was a fun aspect too.
You tell nobody this, spoiler tags reader person! I had a difficult time grasping the concept of pressing B several times repeatedly to hover.. I got the hang of it eventually, though.
My brother tended to play as the little person who followed behind, and Kirby is actually his favorite Nintendo franchise to this day. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I'll go up to where the SNES is hidden and play through one of the stories in fifteen minutes, give or take a few.
  10. Hoo hoo... I love answering this question. I like different series for different reasons, though my favorite overall series is Neon Genesis Evangelion (I'll elaborate later on). So I'll be making a post about three anime I love for different aspects. Plot and Art-- .hack//SIGN This is, actually, my first "Non-mainstream" anime. Despite its being on Cartoon Network, it never really took of and had a ton of merchandise following behind (I.E. good thing). The story did move along as slow as my old Windows 95 on a 56K modem, but once you got over the halfway point things certainly went very exciting (In a.. Non-actiony way.) and I found myself sobbing at the end of each episode, knowing I had to wait another week to find out what happened next time. It was so deep and original, it is probably #2 on my anime favorites list period. The art is top-notch as well. The dub is pretty sweet too. Humor-- FLCL When I first heard about this series my mind went as follows: "Ooh, Gainax! Ooh! Yoshiyuki Sadomoto! Ooh, it's coming to Cartoon Network!" I was very excited when it finally premiered, though it left me scratching my head until I saw it all the way through, then it made all the sense in the world. I believe this series even outs Excel Saga with some scenes, though I have only seen bits and pieces of the actual Excel Saga anime; Manga volumes 1 and two are all I own thus far. A lot of people say they like the dub, and I agree to a degree, but Mamimi's voice gets on my nerves. BADLY. Overall (except for dub. Guh.)-- Neon Genesis Evangelion I recently spent all my money- $140 - on the box set, and I cannot say that I regret it in the least. The plot is so deep and intricate, its religious references are many in numbers and have made me want to find out more regarding my faith, and the characters are all non-stereotypical. Some of them do seem run-of-the-mill on the surface, i.e. Rei and the shy girl stereotype, Asuka being the crazy extroverted loud girl, and so on. Yet as the series progresses, we get to see why they are the way they are, and their many motivations for their being that way. Also, for 1995, the animation is unsurpassed, and could hold its own against current day ones, some may say, framerate-wise. End of Evangelion has also inspired me in plot and symbolism, so that I think my own manga series have many symbolic references in them as well now. The dub, however, definitely is the weakest point in the series. But that's what subtitles with Japanese voice tracks are for. Thank god for DVDs.. Well, that's about it, though other series that I like. Those are the top three, however. Evangelion being #1, .hack//SIGN being #2, and FLCL being #3.
  11. Meh, I am not fond of haunted houses. Not because they scare me so much that I don't sleep for three weeks, or because I'm "too cool" for them. I just don't find enjoyment in being chased around by people in rubber masks and chainsaws in hand. Like most human beings, I enjoy getting thrills and getting shivers sent down my spine, yet it is not something on the top of my things-to-spend-money-on list. Actually, I can be a rather jumpy person when I am not expecting anything coming up behind me.. But I suppose, in a place like a haunted house, a scare is expected and would not have as much an impact on me as a person jumping out from behind the comic book store would. But to answer your question, I live in a rather small city north of Los Angeles, and we have some small, low-quality ones in the area, maybe one or two of them. Yet, at the same time, we have Six Flags Magic Mountain and Knott's Berry Farm not one hour away from here and have this humongous, elaborate tradition going on that thousands of people see each October. *shrugs* I guess I may go to one this year, with friends..
  12. Actually, not only that, but I believe I read on a major website (I'm pretty sure that it was bandai.com) that they are producing an American version of the CDs, basically meaning they change the regional coding (If they have to) and mass produce the disc in the US. The discs are set to all come out by the end of this year. They are simply the soundtracks that came with the .hack//SIGN DVDs in the special edition version. Virtually, there is no purpose in buying them if you already purchased the special edition DVDs.. I, myself, will most likely be buying them when they are released. Of course, I have most of the songs downloaded into my computer and burned on to CDs, but I feel like paying back society for the evil file-sharing sins I have performed. Plus the covers are really cool too. Hope that helped.
  13. God-modding is making your character superior in every aspect, so that it could win under any circumstance. Making your character omnipotent makes fighting no fun and predictable. Try making long, detailed, descriptive posts with good grammar. Doing so makes a fight more fun and interesting when other people read it. You must also learn to accept defeat. Getting angry for losing in a little fight or doing anything to get out of a situation is rather frowned upon here. Welcome to the boards, and may you battle well in the future.
  14. Well, I can't say I have had dreams of OtakuBoards. I don't think about this place enough to have subconcious thoughts about it, I think. But there's always a first time for everything, I suppose. I do, however, sometimes have dreams with people from OB in them. Mostly just a couple of my closer friends, whom I talk to outside of the boards, and more on AOL Instant Messenger. I'm not sure what all happens in them, but I think I remember having a dream where I met Syk, Shinmaru, Japan_86, KKC, Eve, James and Charles in real life somewhere. The details are a blur to me, but I remember that much. O_o Do I need some sort of psychological help?..
  15. Dear god, Mal, I didn't know you could draw this well... I thought you were just good at making hilarious, zany banners. I'm not sure what to classify your style as.. Perhaps a shojo action style, but it's rather distinct if it is not that. Daigo's right, you are absolutely amazing at making wrinkles in clothing and the hair is exquisite. Now that is not to say those are the only good point in your work, everything far surpasses the quality of of mine. To be quite honest, I can't see a single thing in these drawings that have any problems. It's all so perfect and seems professional. These remind me of Yoshiyuki Sadomoto (Gainax character design guy)'s work. That is most likely because of the girl. She looks a lot like that woman from Secrets of Blue Water Nadia. Synonomy.. Does that mean "The state of being the same" or something? I'm looking at the root word, synonym, and putting two and two together here. I demand to see more sketches, Maladjusted! As soon as possible!
  16. Well, I kinda came up with it, and Mal added a lot of content and actually decided to make the banner about it, as she stated. I can kind of assist in straightening things out for you all who are confused, I think. O_O If it's possible. It first shows a broadly ranged spam-esque saying, with too many exclaimation points, strange capitalization and spelling, along with a large amount of emoticons. This is obviously spam. Thus the Newb-wraiths come out of hiding to perform their duty, to thin out the herds of spammers in the forums. These include Semjaza, Queen Asuka and Shy. The phrases that go along with their names kind of confuse me. Maybe Maladjusted can explain them better. But I do recall her saying the "hyuk hyuk" for QA was a reference to Tori's being from Georgia. The next several frames reference to several different types of spammers, such as poor typists, those who are way off topic, and people who threaten others (I.e. that "psycho" person). Next, we have a poor little moderator-in-training being tested to see if he or she has what it takes by out dear Syk. The many many words in his frames are in reference to his perfectionism and attention to detail. Then that Black Cat Banzai thing was part of a little infamous post made by Mal in the Jumbo Anime Quiz. Who figured that one out, anyway? Oh, and the "Dear James!" thing is a common thing between Syk and some of us OB people in AIM. He came up with the theory that James is god, and since then the little joke has escelated to banner-worthy fame. After that is the James and other mod-in-training skit, which is one big reference to Maladjusted and Double_D_Daigo's neverending battle between shonen-ai good and shonen-ai bad. THEN we get a Syk-closing-a-thread thing. He said the thread got "Way off topic" and the next frame is a person talking about how cheese is good and how it is raining. That is pretty off-topic, no matter what the thread was about, correct? Apart from a thread entitled "Do you like cheese?".. Then it shows a picture of Kaworu and Shinji from Evangelion.
If you haven't seen the series, you may not know that Kaworu has a thing for Shinji.
Maladjusted, being an active shonen-ai fan, is trying to prove both of them are in a relationship. I, however, strongly believe in an Asuka/Shinji relationship, get angry and fwap her. O_o Not that I would do that, but.. Then we come back to a spammer's execution (Now back to a Lord of the Rings theme), and pleads not to ban him, and that he will never put 3000 smilies at the end of a post again. It apparently didn't work. Then I, being a newb-wraith (What..? I'm not a mod) laugh to myself out of another victory for the spamicide campaign.
  17. Haha, I didn't think you'd go through with it, Mal.. But it did come out quite well. Heh.. N00B-wraiths. A concept of epic proportions, don't you think? This had the feeling of an Adult Swim black-and-white card scene or one of Kaz's Filler's Slide Shows.. All zany and random. There's just something about it that is so.. Funny.. But I didn't come up with what all the quotes were. That was entirely Maladjusted's doing. ^_^' But it is all in fun, and she did not intend to insult anyone.. *gets angry* Kaworu and Shinji are not like that!
Syk told me that Kaworu is really neither male or female, but just felt like he (It?) identified closest with Shinji over any other human...
Or at least that's what he thinks. Is this politically incorrect? Using the term "n00b" and making fun of them..? If it is, I am sorry.. 8.7/10 Awesome job.
  18.
Originally posted by NightmareMage oh we have a "Mr. Perfect" over here... ok i'll try and watch my grammer... and for your info i have beaten the game and so what if it advances the plot? isn't it kinda obvious whats going to happen; wait, don't answer that... yeah i'll give ya credit for the "There is probably going to be a new character in there somewhere.." and "The game advances the plot, right? And there may be new spells and weapons, correct?" yeah sure a few new spells(lv.4 fire drop and lv.3-4 summons about as best you get) oh and don't forget the characters' appearences in the game... that thing pissed me off! running around for potions and almost useless weapons... sheesh... well thnx for the warm welcome! P.S. you'll soon see i can be very, VERY debative if you haven't noticed already... :-D
Oh, let me assure you, I am far from perfect. There are people on these boards who post messages over twice as long as mine and can find flaws in ANY logic. And thanks for that comment, Arch. But anyhoo.. M-hm, the plot advances. But "So what"? That's kind of.. Weird to say that the plot advances and it bears no relevance to anything, isn't it? Part of the essence of the .hack series is that it's like playing through another .hack anime series. In fact, plot is one of the most important parts to most RPGs, the way I see it. Again, I stress the "Middle movie" curse. Of course, there is no middle in a four-part series, but you always seem to have a less exciting, but gets you even more hyped for the final one, right? I presume that meeting the .hack//SIGN characters was simply a side-quest for avid SIGN fans.. So sure, it's not a truthfully productive portion of the game, but it gives players a special little treat for enduring the "trials and tribulations" you face to meet Tsukasa, Sora, Mimiru, Bear and the rest. ^_^ I'll gladly debate you anytime, NightmareMage. I am "debative" as well.
  19.
Originally posted by IloveBebop Everybody keeps saying the same things. Aren't there any more things to argue about? How about the fact that this woman might be a poor woman who just wants money from CN? That could be a major factor.
Yes, but is that a justifiable reason to sue Cartoon Network? That sounds like a very desperate move, and if she truly is poor that would be rather pitiable, right? Now she could get money for that, but still.. It's just not right. And if she's poor, how can she afford a lawyer?
  20. Heh, welcome to the boards, NightmareMage.. Well, you can't say the aren't "doing" a good job, necessarily, considering that the games have already been produced in Japan and have been released for several months. They "Didn't do" a good job would be more correct.. But anyway.. The game is no different than Mutation? Pardon me, but I believe that the third installment of .hack is not a remake of the second installment with some new sidequest features. The game advances the plot, right? And there may be new spells and weapons, correct? Have you beaten the game yet, even? There is probably going to be a new character in there somewhere.. Anyway, this game is most likely intended to advance the plot some, leading up to the climax and end of the series, .hack//QUARANTINE. In a series of four, you could consider the third one equivalent to a trilogy's "middle movie". Even the Bandai people said similar to the following: Infection = introduction Mutation = continuation of intro Outbreak = ends near the climax of the series Quarantine = climax, end of series Well, that was not near quote, but I recall a similar saying on the official site. So, be patient. Maybe the game won't turn out as poorly as you think if you haven't finished it, and Quarantine will most likely be far more intriguing.
  21. That picture is actually not that bad. ^_^ I am not too familiar with any non-spriting pieces of work made by you, Shippo, so now I have a better idea of what to expect. I agree with Terra on the hands. You got the fingers and form of it just right. For a Sonic character, you actually drew the body pretty realistically. Normally you'll find that Sonic and his little hordes of allies and enemies have completely oblong circular shapes for their torsos. Yours is more.. Rectangular. Of course, the head is strange, but these things take practice. Oh, and you used the wrong version of "You're".. You used the one that you use when you refer to something someone owns, such as "Your cat" or "Your shared folder". But overall, nice job. ^_^ Us 12-year-old artists need to stick together. 7.5/10
  22. Actually, for a 12-year-old who is forever online, I am pretty unprotected from the scary stuff that is online. Of course, my parents trust me and everything, but they probably just don't feel like buying that kind of software, considering they know I'm perpetually on OtakuBoards.. Or so they think.. However, for someone of my age, I know a great deal about computers, and I really could find my way around those programs anyway. Not to be boastful, of course. My parents are barely ever on this computer anyway (It may as well be mine and mine alone) and they could not make sure the program was running smoothly and unhindered. I do believe parental controls are good for children, though. Especially for younger ones who could type in some innocent keyword for a school project and accidentally come across a hundred porn sites. Older children, on the other hand, can filter what they look at by reading a site's description on a search engine. Hopefully.. I am among them. It is a good assurance for the parents, though.
  23.
Black_Phoenix originally wrote: Do not forget that the version of Sora he uses may not be the same. Also, Sora may have been shortened from something else that uses two Kanji.
I have visited many different sites using Japanese characters on my computer, and I have the letters on my computer. Each and every site (Except for some cruddy American-made fansites that attempt at giving complex information in it) has one character, and my dictionary also shows the same character for "sky".
paco originally wrote: I think its fake they won't give helba infinity health and magic even if she is a hacker i mean come on then you could beat the game within 10 minutes! also they are not playable charicters in the game
10 minutes? Well, fighting isn't the only aspect of a game. Exploring plus cutscenes and extra things like Grunty raising will take up a lot of time. ~_^ More like 20 hours per game, my friend. But how do you KNOW that Helba and Sora and Subaru and Tsukasa are not playable characters if the game hasn't been released yet? Thus far, each game has had some new Player Characters to use, and this is the final one. For all we know, these are screenshots from some side quest you can do or something.
IkkiMechaPilot originally wrote: Um its not fake obviously and 9999 is not infinity ya know...
Again, how do you know it's not fake? It would be simple enough for an experienced CGI person to find a screenshot of Helba, isolate her from the background and surrounding characters, and implant her in a scene by a chaos gate.
Black_Phoenix originally wrote: Helba's purpose in the game was not really to fight. In both the show and the game she plays more of an advising role. Having stats like that may also mean that there is something rather big that you may have to face in the game.
True, Helba has always been advisory, but if she's in a party she's bound to do some fighting, right? Good point about the big in-game thing, though. ^_^' You always come up with things I never would have, Phoenix.
  24. ^_^ I'm the annoying little brother whom nobody pays attention to and loving it! Yep, the story is moving on quite well. Of course there are some typos in there and there's some nitpicking on my own part, particularly with redundancy in the mid-section. But it's nothing too critical. Ooh, Charles' house has a hot tub. *wink wink, nudge nudge, hint hint* I think I may know where this is going. In some sections, though, you'll find that the sentences get a little choppy. You might want to use more conjunctions in future chapters. Keep it up, Laura!
  25. I rented the game on Thursday, and I have been throwing away computer time and spending that on video games. That is a rarity in my case. I once thought I knew what a fighter game was-- But the only experience I have had with the genre before SCII is Super Smash Brothers. And it is nothing at all like Soul Calibur. I have had the revalation that SSB was not a true fighter, but a party game. This game is quite possibly the best Gamecube game I have EVER played. The characters are all so individual and balanced (With their own weaknesses) and it has substance and plot. The characters all have background stories, and the destined battles are always fun. I never would have expected
Ivy was Cervantes's daughter.
Weapon Master Mode's story got a little mediocre about halfway through, however, so I found myself not even reading the four or five paragraphs at the beginning of each match. I find that I am best with Kilik, though I am decent with Taki and Cervantes as well. The Kali-yuga user has such a wide range and blocks quite efficiently. And I can't forget Voldo either. If I can get into the blind stance and use once or twice I am pretty awesome, in my own right. I thought that I may challenge someone at the arcade the other day to a game, however everyone there was so amazing at it wasn't logical for me to even play them. Well, I have to return it tomorrow, so I must wait until I can buy the game for me to get any more of this amazing sequel. Other than graphic-wise, did Soul Calibur I really compare to II at all?
