Peri thought that Chole would take her that night...but she was wrong.[/i] Peri: Wake up... Chole: Huh? Peri: Good morning... Chole: Oh, hello... [i]He remembered what happened last night...[/i] Chole: About last night... Peri: Think nothing of it... [i]Peri squeezed his hand...they looked into each others eyes and held still, holding tightly.[/i] Chole: We should get ready...the others are probably on their horses... [i]They heard three knocks on their door and heard Liam's voice...[/i] Peri: We're coming! [i]Viper sat up from the bed next to Chole's and Peri's, along with Alan...[/i] Chole: You guys slept here too? Alan: yeah...we talked so long last night we tried to check in but they didn't have any extra rooms. So we asked Peri if we could borrow yours. Chole: Oh so that's why... Viper: It's win-win, 'aint it? Peri: "'aint?" Chole: Local tounge... Viper: Alan taught it to me last night... Chole: That's cool. Peri: "cool?" ...Wait, don't answer that... OOC: I just noticed that the topic is almost at 1000...and I have to say that it's a topic that's going to be talked about. Help me!! Bwwww.....*bubbles form* [i]Kool dives underwater and brings him back up.[/i] Liam: How in the world did that house turn into a freaking space ship!? There's probably a site where it shows you where the soldering points are on a detailed map of the board. Be [i]very[/i] careful soldering it...bacically, you melt the point with the hot needle, put in the wire and cool it off (usually cools off and hardens instantly.) You do it for both...but it would be a wise idea to have someone else with experience do the job. Once it gets fixed...you don't really have to clean it often like that...it'll work just fine, even with some dust. It pulls in air from the front so keep the front of your PS2 as clean as possible. I also noticed that the laser and drive bay is exposed to the ouside...if you're in a dark room and you're playing a game, you can look inside the vent grill and see a red light moving around. A typical CD/DVD cleaner will do the job without having to open it up.

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Chole and Rena awoke to each others dreams of violence and horror...they woke in a cold sweat to the darkness of Meteo City. Somehow...time didn't seem to move as the moonlight bounced off the tiny beads of sweat on their skin. They were breathing heavily while Roux still was sound asleep.[/i] Chole: No peaceful thoughts eh? Rena: Not really...I do have good memories...it's just that it's been so long and...well... Chole: It's dark and everything... Rena: Yeah... [i]Just then they heard the front doors of the gym opening...[/i] Chole: Rena...try to keep Roux asleep... Rena: How do I do that? Chole: Don't move... [i]Chole let go of Rena and walked over to the edge of the bleachers as far as he would dare and peeked through. He couldn't see much, but he could hear footsteps through the hardwood flooring. He quietly moved back to where Rena was and got out his scope...zooming in on the dark figures.[/i] Rena: [i]Is it anybody?[/i] Chole: [i]I don't think so...they...[/i] [i]Chole noticed that the figures weren't in standard standard Hunter gear...they seemed to be unarmed, wearing regular civilian clothing. They tried to look around the gymnasium...but they didn't have much except the moonlight. They started heading towards the bleachers where Chole got a better look at the two...a man, and a woman...both seemed human, but he couldn't be too sure.[/i] Rena: ?? Chole: *shakes his head* [i]As the two approached very close to them, Chole took out his blade and took off his scope. He could now see them clearly, sitting right on top of them...[/i] Man: Do you think it's safe here? Woman: *shrugs* It isn't safe anywhere in this city...but there's no one here so I guess we can rest here for a while. Man: Strange, isnt it honey? We got back from vacation and now there's no one... Woman: There were guards at the aiport... Man: Yeah, who told us to get out...and when we got home...the sign said 'evicted' the hell is up with that?! [i]As Chole and Rena listned to their conversation, they figured out more and more of Meteo City's situation. It was a deserted area, save for a few guards here and there. They semmed to be completely unaware of what's been going on, but they revealed areas of the city where there was less security and they could pass as human kids without much trouble...but where were the other human civilians? Chole and Rena wanted to know so badly...[/i] Man: What happened to everyone else? Woman: Don't ask me! Man: :rolleyes: Woman: Well, they couldn't have just disappeared...besides the lights at HQ and the strange fires in the distance...there's no activity... Man: Then we should take it all the way to headquarters then... Woman: Right... [i]The two stood up and left the gymnasium...giving Rena and Chole sighs of relief.[/i] Rena: Now we can talk... Chole: There's people at the headquarters... Rena: We can't just waltz in there...we'd be killed... Chole: If we catch up with those two...we might be able to get in undetected... Rena: I hope you're right...but Roux...he's still asleep... Chole: Ugh..I can't leave you alone here... Rena: I'll be fine. Chole: Are you sure? Rena: Of course ;) I know the good hiding places here... Chole: Okay...just don't kill me when I get back... [i]Chole got up and chased after the couple heading towards Headquarters...[/i][/COLOR]

[i]Seph stabbed the walls, only creating sparks...[/i] Chole: You're paranoid man... Seph: Hmph... Chole: So when do you think the fog's going to clear out.. Seph: When it clears, it clears...and we go looking for that trader again...[/COLOR]

They ended up in the basketball court and they took a seat by the bleachers to cool off. The dust was non-existen there and they continued their conversation while Roux sat by and smiled, listening in.[/i] Rena: I've been having dreams of other people's lives...different experiences. I remember them all. Chole: I guess you were to young to see my experiences, that's a good thing. Rena: Then you must've seen mine? Chole: I never came in contact with you... Rena: Is that how it works? Chole: I guess so...contact with them, things they come in contact with that you do...it's a strange concept. Rena: So if I come in contact with you...*reaches out hand* Chole: Then the next time you dream...I'll be in it. Rena: I can take it... [i]Chole reached out his hand and took Rena's. They held hands for a few seconds, looking at each other before finally letting go.[/i] Chole: Hmmm... Rena: What is it, Chole? Rena: *shrugs* [i]The clouds hanging low in the sky finally passed over Meteo City...the industrial facility must've stopped spewing out fire into the sky...the moon finally shown it's full glow as in every night. Chole: *looked out the window* It seems safe...I don't see anyone besides some lights high above the governent building... Rena: Oh... Roux: :sleep: Rena: What if you fall asleep? Chole: Then I fall asleep...no big deal...besides, who would know we're here? [COLOR=darkblue][i]As Chole removed his heavy armor and prepared for bed, he looked out his window and saw the nightlife was still very much active. But he payed more attention to the moon and starts lingering outside in the clear dark-blue sky...[/i] Chole: Hey, it's those two... Peri: ?? [i]Peri walked up next to him and looked over his shoulder. They looked on as Alan and Viper were talking softly by the fountain...laughing and looking into each other's eyes.[/i] Chole: Heh... Peri: *sigh* Chole: Looks like that guy's outdone me in that department. Peri: Oh? Chole: I guess you could call him the conservative one...ever since we were little kids...up to the age of 6 when we were seperated. Peri: ... Seph: It'll probably clear up...try to look around and find a cave, we'll be safer there...once I get rid of the resident. Chole: Confident eh? [COLOR=darkblue][i]Back in the cold dark district of Meteo City, Chole, Roux, and Rena were still waiting for the others to arrive. They talked in whispers[/i] Chole: They shouldn't have gone... Roux: :( Rena: They'll make it back... Chole: We're in more danger than ever before... [i]They all heard the strange noises that started sprouting all around them. Metal clanging and the burst of flames from the smoke stack. With the absolute silence, Roux started getting frightened and began to cry.[/i] Rena: Aww... Chole: We gotta calm him down... Rena: *hugged Roux* C'mon...don't be scared... [i]Chole also crouched down and hugged Roux who was still crying. They held each other in the darkness as a wave of hunters dressed in black passed by them. Rena put her hand over Roux's mouth and held it there until they couldn't hear the sounds of their bikes.[/i] Chole: We have to get out of here...we'll be killed. Rena: :eek: Chole: The shelter... Rena: It's a long ways from here... Chole: Then we have to hurry. [i]Rena transformed and put Roux on her back. Chole reached into his pack and took out a long string of nylon rope.[/i] Rena: What's that for? Chole: Just so you can keep your maximum speed without letting go of Roux... [i]Chole tied the rope around Roux and Rena's abdomens and fastened it tightly but comfortable. Chole cleaned up and crouched down, pointing towards the centeral building of Meteo City.[/i] Chole: Ready? Rena: Yeah... Chole: YOu okay Roux? Roux: *nodded and wiped away the last of his tears* Chole: Good... [i]Chole peeked outside with his scope and saw that the area was clear on all modes. He signaled Rena to go first before he proceeded. Rena blasted off and Chole launched off as well. Chole was now able to keep up with Rena as they ran across miles and miles of back alleyways, dark abandoned streets, and piles and piles of buildings, bodies and dust most likely settling down there.[/i] Rena: Let's go all the way *panting* Chole: Okay... [i]They never stopped...Chole saw the huge empty square that was Meteo Centeral park, now a devoid and lifeless crater. They saw HQ with a few illuminated lights at the top. Across the crater was the shelter...untouched, still in the bad shape it was when they left.[/i] Rena: I hope there's still people inside... Chole: Let's just hope that they're our people... [i]They slowed down and took to the shadows as they neared the center of Meteo City. Rena and Chole tried to keep their heavy breathing to a minimal as they slowly ran over towards the wooden building...They proceeded inside with Chole guiding her through his scope...[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]The chocobos turned to the marches as they heard a large roar from it...Chole got down and tried to focus his eyes...though he couldn't see much.[/i] Ma: What was that? Chole: Nothing... [i]Ma went back inside the house and Chole kept waiting for the chocobo's new owners to come by and pick their birds up...[/i] [/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Icar went to get something to eat when he heard the commotion outside the outpost's fuselage...he got up and headed over to check up on his ship.[/i] Abob: Identify yourself!! ????: .... [i]Immediately, Seifer drew his blade and pointed it at the two strangers, surprsising them.[/i] Anima: If you've come here to cause trouble, you've come to the right place. [i]Icar passed by the commotion and noticed the two shadowy, cloaked figures. He knew their type...where they were from. A small group of the deaf and the mute he walked up to the group and took a deep breath...[/i] Icar: You know they can't hear you or talk... [i]Anima glanced over at him and instantly noticed him from the ships profile she was scanning into earlier that day.[/i] Anima: And how would you know that? Icar: Check 'em out...they probably just need some supplies. [i]Seifer let down his blade while Abob went up to the two and raised his hand. The cloaked figures gave him an electronic pad, a list of things to trade...weapons, rations, shield grids, cloaking systems, engine parts...[/i] Abob: Okay...they look safe... Anima: Thanks for giving the heads up. Icar: No problem... [i]Icar continued into his ship and watched the group as they traded. He looked down at his control panel and noticed his master alarm light was lit. He pressed it and checked his status screen at the center. A holographic Heads-Up-Display that wrapped around his head like a helmet, showing a huge amount of information. On system diagonistics, it stated "Tamper" and began a trace. But it was too late...the link had been cut off and whoever it was, they were good at covering their tracks...though he didn't have much riding on his system computer, just his profile, communications, and status grid. Everything else was handled manually. Unless he had a stalker on his backside, he wasn't going to go crazy over it. He shut down his system and headed back outside...[/i] Icar: You guys alright? [COLOR=darkblue][i]Chole closed his eyes for a few minutes and a flash of images came over him, of Siren, Liam, and Pi heading over. He saw a man in a jet black trenchcoat with his partner, and a strange man and his minions dressed in uniform everything turned bright red as he saw images of thousands of hybrids being murdered, hearing each and every one of their screams...his eyes opened wide and he took in a deep gasp of air. He saw Iris, Rena, and Roux by the couch...resting soundly, but very much awake and alert. He looked out the window with his scope and saw that the three were already headed over to the roaring fires of hell in the distance. They'd have to either wait for them or continue their run to the shelter.[/i] Chole: Iris.. Iris: What? Chole: We have to go... [i]As Chole walked over, he kicked up dust and ash off the floor.[/i] Chole: We can't stay here.. Iris: But we're tired... Chole: No! We'll be found here and killed if we stay! [i]Chole's shout echoed throughout the apartment, waking up both Rena and Roux. Neither of them cried. They were alert and ready to move.[/i] Iris: We'll be killed if we get spotted outside! Chole: Look, I'm going to the shelter...come with me or not...it's your choice...we'll be safer to go where Siren said. [i]Chole started out of the room.[/i] Rena: What's going on? We're going to the shelter? Iris: No... Rena: Chole Wait!!! [i]Rena got off the ash covered couch and ran after Chole, who was already at the stairs. Roux looked at her, then at Iris...[/i] Chole: You coming too? Rena: I know there's someone there! I just know it! Chole: Let's go...[COLOR=silver]*flash of images from his dream flow through his head* sis...[/COLOR] Rena: What did you call me? He told her to wait inside while he checked outside for anyone, making use of the infared scope Pi gave him before he left to do battle with Cyo and his minions... He didn't notice anything and signaled for Rena to go.[/i] Rena: How about Iris and Roux? Chole: They want to stay here. Rena: Shouldn't we be all together? Chole: Yup... Rena: Oh...? He set up the table by getting two plastic chairs, plates, pairs of chopsticks, and napkins.[/i] Jessie: Sorry, I don't normally buy expensive dining stuff... Lidan: ... [i]Jessie sat on the bed and turned on his computer as the microwave counted down.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]As Jessie took the curve, leading to the final strech of highway before his home, he noticed gunfire to the right of him...he slowed his car down and took a short glance.[/i] Jessie: Looks like trouble in the old neighborhood. Lidan: Oh, really... Jessie: Its not like you haven't seen it before... Lidan: Yeah... Jessie: So which psychiatrist do you want to go to? Lidan: Ugh...no...I don't need that kinda help. [i]Chole shifted his body to face Iris even further and a huge cloud of dust spread around...[/i] Chole: Gah...what is this?! Iris: I guess sawdust from the boards... Chole: No...there couldn't be this much... [i]Chole took a deep breath and blew out a small ball of fire, illuminating the entire room a bright orange. The two noticed that the entire place was covered in a strange type of dark matter, speckling the entire room.[/i] Iris: *shrugs* [i]Pi came back down...[/i] Pi: I think you might wanna take a look at this... [i]Pi gave Chole his scope, set on infared...he looked out through the boarded windows and saw a bright red through it...[/i] Chole: what is it? Pi: Take off the scope...or put it on enchanced vision... [i]Chole rotated the configurations and could see the entire room as plain as day, the outside as well. In the distance, he could see flames spuring out, spewing forth black smoke into the air.[/i] Chole: What is it? Iris: Beats me... Pi: *hangs head* You guys don't want to know... [i]Pi instantly knew what it was...a crematarium(sp?)...that was when he knew that his "contacts" went way too far and that any form of relationship other than hatred was left. Siren fell at the sight and cried hysterically on the glass roof, Liam holding her trembling body. Chole and Iris were still confused as to what the flames were all about...Pi ran out of the room...ashes of burnt flesh were all over him...fallen all over the apartment and all over the streets of Meteo City...[/i]

[i]He looked at Viper and his brother flirting by the fountain in the middle of town...[/i] Chole: On second thought... [i]Chole rushed into the inn, ordered a few strong drinks and bought a room when he was loosened up...the innkeeper said something about the rooms being full..but he didn't really pay attention...we was tired and he went upstairs, walking slowly towards his room[/i] Chole: Now which one did the guy say it was? [i]He looked around to find an empy room...but there was none...He wondered where Liam and Peri went, they got there early so they probably got seperate rooms...he started looking around.[/i][/COLOR]
