In U.S. they're going to be called 'greatest hits' but I haven't seen any of them at the store...the people there just lower the prices after 4 months of it's release. Though if I really want to get a game that I missed a while back, I check the 'used' section of the store. I heard PS2 media is pretty resilient against wear and tear...

[COLOR=darkblue]That's cool....3D Animation'll leave you in front of the computer for hours...but it's really worth it to be able to render creations of your own. Well, right now my hardware's holding me back from making up my own creations. My one real passion is writing...Stories, Commentary, Spoken Word, you name it...that's my outlet of self expression. Cars are also another one of my passions. After getting my car, I take real good care of it and push it to it's potential when I drive around the highways.[/COLOR]

Because of the state of emergency, there weren't that many children playing outside. Chole and Rena had time to be the kids they were and forget much about what's happened and anything that could bother them. They were both damaged horiffically in the past and both understood each other. Nothing in the world could break their moment together, not even Flash and Warlock up in space, dragging the Earth, slowly, thousands of miles away from it's path of life. [/i] Chole: Haha...this'll be fun. Rena: It kinda sucks that there's no one else to play with. Chole: I never really preferred large crowds. Rena: C'mon... [i]Rena took Chole's hand and took him away into the park where they spent most of the day running around and laughing. Turning red from pushing and chasing each other through the thick trees and the blue ambience. They had no care in the world and they were linked, sharing each other's hapiness. The waters surrounding Celes began to dim as the dome's lights turned on. It was late when they finally stopped and rested.[/i] Rena: *pant*pant* That was fun... Chole: Heh, that sure was... Rena: Hey, don't tell me that you're still down... Chole: *lays down on the bottom steps of the slide* Rena: What's wrong? Chole: I just found out that I had a sister, not much younger than me... Rena: What happened to her? Chole: She was never born when my mom was killed... Rena: *tears came to her eyes* I'm sorry...that's so sad... [i]Rena took Chole's hand and squeezed hard...[/i] Chole: She didn't die when my mom was murdered though...my Auntie Faye took care of her and raised her in her stomach... Rena: You mean womb...:smirk: Chole: Haha... Rena: So how come she's not in your auntie's house? Chole: She gave her away because of the Hunters... Rena: To who? Chole: A little orphaned baby dragon and tiger hybrid...she probably was still in Meteo City when Flash and Warlock messed everything up. Rena: Oh... Chole: I also found out that Siren was taking care of me before she handed me over to Ten, who I worked with for a long while... Rena: That's great....she's like your second mother... Chole: The saddest part was that I never knew who my mother really was. Rena: Don't you have dreams of her? Chole: Yeah...but they're only shadows of a fallen past. Rena: ...I never knew my parents either...I was orphaned at birth, never knowing why. So it never really hit me...I always focused my love for my brothers and sisters. Chole: You had siblings? Rena: All those people at the orphanage were my brothers and sisters...we took care of each other and watched each other's back. And to know that they're all dead! [i]Rena started sobbing. Tears streamed down her face, remembering the agony of losing loved ones to circumstance. It wasn't fair...to have all those children, who had so much potential to be laid to waste in the blink of an eye. Chole knew what she was feeling through her words, her tears, just by holding her hand he knew all these things and he knew he was someone with someone strikingly familiar...he knew that sadness expressed on her face was very similar to that of his own. The pattern of her voice as she sighed out her continuing sorrow. He took her in his arms...[/i] Chole: It's alright... Rena: I'm only TEN! This shouldnt' be happening... Chole: I'm sixteen and to have the same things happen to me...I feel for you... [i]Then it finally hit him...he rembered his Aunt Faye telling him that the hybrid pregnancy took three years and he was six at the time of her birth. If Chole ever met her, she'd have the same 'features' as him, and they would just be so much alike. Chole took her hand and helped her up. He looked around to find a small crystal water pond nearby. Rena's tears dropped on it, creating large ripples. After they cleared...they both looked down, reflecting both of their faces.[/i] Chole: Hey, you're cute... Rena: Hey...*sniff* :giggle: don't say that...you're cute too...lol [i]They both saw it...they had a striking resembelence...it was clear to Chole that this was the girl that was orphand when he was six...that they would eventually meet and be one again.[/i] Chole: Thanks...sister... Rena: :confused: Chole: Do you have any marks like mine? Than it might be true... [i]Chole lifted up his shirt, exposing his bruises on his back. They were fading...but the silhouette of the dragon and tiger never disappeared. Being a hazy red and blue along his skin.[/i] Rena: Oh I don't know...Chole...not here though... [i]Chole took Rena's tear-soaked hand and they headed back towards Faye's house...going through the same window in the hallway, they ran to his room and shut the door quietly...[/i] Rena: This is only because I really wanna know if you're my brother or not...I really want a family, to know who I am... Chole: Don't worry...I understand *turns away* [i]Rena unzipped her suit down to her stomach and slipped her arms out to expose her back.[/i] Rena: It's okay now... [i]Chole turned around to find her crouching with her arms crossed back faced up, revealing the same feint blue and red haze through her back, less pronounced...but apparent to Chole.[/i] Chole: Better than a blood test eh? Rena: *shakes* I hate needles!! Chole: So do I... Rena: So do you see what you wanted to see? Chole: *turns around* Oh...sorry... [i]Rena put her suit back on and turned to face Chole. Still turned away...she pulled him around and hugged him.[/i] Rena: Do you think this is the best way to tell? Chole: Does Iris know about this? Rena: I never told her about it...I could take care of myself when she came into the shelter...but know that I know... Chole: We should talk to Aunt Faye... [/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Lupos hung his head low as he stepped out of the SUV parked in front of Liam's house. He joined up with Siren who was standing in the middle of the drive way screaming her lungs out.[/i] Siren: SION!!! Lupos: Siren...relax... Siren: He's still here... Lupos: *sniffs the air* I don't sense him around. He isn't nearby.[/COLOR]

Rena: I was sleeping on the couch when I saw everything... Chole: We're still linked, huh? Rena: You bet...;) C'mon...let's get our minds off of this. Chole: We we really should, huh? [i]Rena grabbed Choles hand and they ran off to an open window nearby. Both of them jumped out and they landed on the streets safe and sound.Chole started to breathe hard.[/i] Chole: That was a rush. Rena: Do you know any good places around here? Chole: Well...no...but we could always... [i]Rena stopped and tugged at a woman's dress.[/i] Woman: Yes? Chole: Rena? Rena: Umm...oh...what time is it? [COLOR=darkblue][i]They came upon a small village with rows and rows of assorted fruit trees...the villagers were walking about, doing their daily chores when one of them noticed the party coming in and he ran up to them.[/i] Boy: Hey, have you seen my uncle? Chole: Umm, nope...I don't know who he is? [i]The other villagers started to notice and, within a few minutes, nearly the entire village was around them, asking about their relatives.[/i] Liam: What are they talking about? Peri: I think I might know why... Viper: I got it taken care of...Peri, Chole, Liam, Alan, Outlaw? Rest up...I'll be with you in a few... Outlaw: Okay... [i]The group walked over to the shady portion of the town, aside from all the villagers while Viper explained to them that they haven't seen their relatives.[/i] Liam: I don't get it...why are they asking us? We just got here... Alan: They probably have relatives who went out on an expidition through the desert and never came back. Peri: But look at the guy over there...the one that asked Chole first... [i]Alan looked at the guy over and over again...other than him missing both of his hands...he was fine.[/i] Alan: What? Peri: Don't you get it? Do you think these people live on only fruits and vegetables? Alan: Well...it could happen. Chole: Yeah, to a town made up of vegetables... All: :nope: Chole: *falls to the ground* Peri: Nevertheless...they were asking about their relatives because they were hiding in the mountains...and we happened to kill them...all of them... Liam: Are you saying this town is full of bandits? Peri: Yeah... Outlaw: I wonder what Viper's gonna tell them...[/COLOR]

After a while, Rena got up and ran after him.[/i] Rena: Chole wait! [i]Her voice and tiny foosteps echoed throughout Faye's house as she ran after him.[/i] Liam: Iris? Iris: I can't really do much now... Pi: You should go... Iris: Rena's there for him... [/COLOR]

Syth: What's so funny? Rico: In every mission we go through, we don't go in with just one big plan and a backup plan...we come in with 10 or 20 just to be on the safe side. Syth: We do want to stay alive... Rico: Of course... Syth: Rico, we don't actually know where Zion is. Only through myth, we're only looking for it...but I think we're close, really close. Rico: Then we have time to afford going into the Matrix? Syth: You really wanna see her, don't you? Rico: I wanna see how she's doing? Syth: Are you the father? Rico: No...but I am her friend and she knows... Syth: Then it'd be best if you didn't go at the moment...we're vulnerable...and they could trace you...she'd be in danger. Rico: I understand... [COLOR=darkblue]Chole: Freaky...where'd these things come from? Viper: I don't know *grabs Aeon's staff* Just fight! [i]Chole grabbed his crossbow and loaded it with nearly 10,000 small metal bolts.[/i] Chole: Damn.... [i]The group of demons overwhelmed Chole as he tried to take the shot.[/i] Liam: Here! [i]Liam used his blade and martial arts to subdue some of the monsters and reached out to take Chole's hand and help him up.[/i] Chole: Thanks... Liam: C'mon... [i]Liam led Chole to an isolated part of the rocky moutain where he could easily take shots...[/i] Liam: Just stay in one piece... Chole: I know... [i]Liam headed back to join in melee combat while Chole alreted his vision and concentrated on the first shot...[/i] Chole: Just guide me... [i]Chole pulled the trigger and five-hundred bolts spread forth from his bow in the shape of an arrow. Glowing blue, each bolt honed in on their target and pierced their thick hides. It didn't kill them, but it disoriented them enough for Peri, Alan, Viper, and Liam to deal their final blows, killing off half of the attacking pack. And it was also enough for Chole to attach a single arrow that would do the major damage...[/i][/COLOR]

Halo isn't a bad game...but it doesn't really add much to the FPS genre, having so many FPS games out there...though it is very entertaining two or four friends...

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Sion dissipated into the shadows and left a string of bats flying around, disorienting them slightly...[/i] Siren: F-king... [i]Siren concentrated her psyche and sent a pulse wave through the room, passing through Lupos and Liam, but knocking the bats and everything else within the room.[/i] Lupos: Nice spell... Liam: Just a basic telekenesis spell... Siren: Times ten... [i]Siren pushed all the bats through the basement fireplace and threw them up into the sky...coming out of the chimney. It created a cloud of black soot in the sky that slowly moved across L.A.[/i] Liam: Espa's outside? Lupos: Yeah...I'll be right back... [i]Lupos made a run for it...he had tricked Sion into looking outside the house...but he wouldn't be fooled for long and he sprinted back to the SUV...[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]As they trudged up the stone steps, they noticed a group of dead bodies off to the side...[/i] Alan: Who are they? Chole: Bandits...who were obviously living here. Peri: Don't we just have all the luck... Liam: But we shouldn't keep our guard down...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue] I'm just like anyone else, rich or poor...life isn't easy...each time I want something, I have to strive for it...like in some of my classes, the solution to the problem is right in front of someone but I have to hack at it for a bit longer to get it... My parents were raised without electricity, without modern 1960's technology in a remote part of asia...they had nothing...absolutely nothing...yet I'm sitting here in front of a computer in the U.S. and wonder now how in the world did they manage? Even for me, it was an uphill battle...living in a one room apartment in a shoddy part of town...went to school at an early age and they thought I was mentally deficient...well, 'cause my parent's had to work and no one was ever home besides the sitter. But all three of us strived hard and now we have it good...aside from a few problems here and there. Now that I think about it...if I had to live life over again, I'd prefer starting off with nothing...so I can see myself for who I really am and what my capabilites are rather than having someone else tell me or inherit a relative's success. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue]The RPG's that came out for the PS2 are kinda iffy since the first batch of RPG's made for it weren't all that good...with the release of FFX, Grandia, Dark Cloud, and Ico...the genre is really starting to shapen under the PS2 since the developers are getting better and better at unraveling the mysteries of programming for the system.[/COLOR]

Hey, watch the flaming... As for the oversized gameboy...it is very possible for nintendo to create...IMO: just attach a super gameboy to a SNES, which is attached to a fairly small flat screen TV, alter the control input pad to accept the buttons on the outside, cover with durable plastic, color... and Voila! The 3 foot gameboy... But purely just for show at some video game convention obviously...

I think the last time you could do something like that was with the Neo-Geo arcade machines and the home systems. (I could be wrong...). And even more remotely was the Gaunlet Legend arcade games where you could save your character with name and password. Probably the only reason the took out the VMU feature in the U.S. version was because of the projected rate of vandalism and the reduced people at the arcades at the time...but if F-Zero has a feature to tune up your vehicles and battle at the arcades through the memory card, I'm all for it.

[COLOR=darkblue]That would be cool if that were avalible in the U.S. version...help each other get through the obstacles...might turn into a game couples might play if there's nothing to do but sit around in the house.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue]If you have the computer power, turn up all of the effects...it is more of a shooter since Rockstar developed it...though it is played in third person...[/COLOR]
