I tend to think about things like population in the world. As most people know Japan has had to make changes to keep population of people in check. I feel that soon or government (United States of America) will have to do the same. When colonist first came to this continent the last thing they worried about was overpopulating. Sense then the only thing that has kept population from multiplying is war, and disease. ( :(Sorry this may seem cruel to think about the mass death of people:( ) But after the turn of the millennium I feel that there is no longer fear in terrible disease and war. (For the most part) I feel that population may be a new valid topic for us to be thinking about. After all, we aren?t much like animals and have certain seasons to mate and populate. Please tell me your opinion on this topic.. :worried:

Government does not want to offend people by new technology. But you are right. Scientists will undoubtedly continue researching on these types of taboo acts of technology. And that is the true issue. The fact that or human race has came so far as to being able to prolong life, and to create life with or technology. Many religious groups feel that we should never cross the line of "playing god". But in or society the government has to make such stands on these new found advancements. In my own opinions I feel that you can?t censor technology what so ever. There will always be loopholes and groups of rebellion.

Let me us some Law of Detachment to Murphy?s Law. Murphy's Law starts with "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. " and continues with such simple precepts as" Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. " And "If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something." 1) "If anything that can go wrong will go wrong, then anything that can go wrong will go wrong. " (True) "If anything that can go wrong will go wrong, then if anything that can go wrong will go wrong. (True) "If anything that can NOT go wrong will go wrong, then anything that can NOT go wrong will go wrong. (True) If anything that can go wrong will not go wrong, then if anything that can NOT go wrong will go wrong. (True) The Law Of Detachment is simply. If p -> q , q -> p , ~p -> ~q , ~q -> ~p ( ~ = not ) ( -> = implies ) I cant find a fallacy with Murphy?s law using math. So it must be true.....

quote]Originally posted by Drix D'Zanth Birds don't fly because of hollow bones and wings... they fly because they hold antimatter in their gullet.
There are mine reasons why birds can fly. I didn?t want to list every single reasons why they can. That brings me to another point. You take everything word for word. It easy to point out things i say and make shrewd comments. I find religion to be a marvelous retreat from reality. I find that there is no real thing that sets us apart from any other living thing on this world. Only that we are the top of the food chain. So with humans adapted minds we started coming up with things like religion. Like i mentioned in the last post. I simply think that religion is something that was made up from the beginning. And it was made up by human hypothesis. These or my thoughts that i have came up with. I don?t expect any one but me to belive them. I could be wrong i could be right. But the only thing that really matters to me is making Christian people mad. (10$ says you quote me on this) ((Am being sarcastic.)) So do i look down on some one if they are a deeply religious. Yes. Do i pride into their life by demanding 60seconds of atheist talk before school starts. No. You may say. The 60seconds is for any religion. By saying that you shouldered be offended if a student starts making 6 point stars on a peace of paper and goes into a drug-induced trance. I will fall back on my quote. I made up. "Freedom of speech is one thing, but lest to speech to freaken loud."-Me It means that just because we have freedom of speech. Doesn?t mean we should us it to justify everything.

Dagger IX1 What i posted is rather scattered as far as the actual topic. But i have seen tons of these posts that talk about religion vs evolution. So i gave my opinion in its fullest of what i truly think of religion. Sorry if you didn?t understand it. Am not much for putting my thoughts into words. My comments are indeed harsh. And am not the type that try?s to soften my words in such ways to make opposing readers feel less insulted. I know that there is a diverse number of religious people that really cant be categorized in the same category as other religious people. Am just pointing out a stereotype that usually appears in most of these cases. (I call them the bible beaters) You can fight all the little details of religion vs evolution. But it won?t get you very far, very fast. But i understand that society very rarely makes huge strides to settle differences. But in my logical thinking you should go straight to the heart of the problem.
Originally posted by Mitch, We are surrounded by finite things all our lives. Food is finite. Clothes are finite. Money is finite; our lives are finite; the president is finite; the sun is finite; the earth is finite; the brain is finite, and so on and so forth.
I really hope you don?t think this. Or i misunderstood what you were trying to say. Infinity is a concept that refers mostly to math. Like the square turning into a circle thing. Trying to bridge the gap from math to the real would with infinity is not possible to my thinking. It is said in the Big Bang theory that the explosion sent partials and matter ever were. Like a drop of water in a pond. And this ripples never stop, and they are only getting faster. I usually don?t challenge this theory because i think we will not solve it with or current technology. I have lessened to audio recording of mathematician about infinity. And a person talked about how One is just as close to infinity as Goggle is to infinity. (i think a goggle is like 100 to the 100 power.) In math terms infinity is a horizontal 8. And trying to incorporate infinity into the real world would prove to be fruitless. Also in the material world this applies. Their cant possibly be infinity particles. Earth is only limited by the number of atoms that are on the earth. But or earth is so freaking cool in the fact that it can recycle itself.

Drix D'Zanth.... You just don?t get it do you. You are just a subject of human reasoning. Am sure that you have no clue what am talking about. Seeing that most Christians don?t have a original thought in their head. Every one is subject to curiosity. You can find this out just by looking at little kids. Their minds are growing and in this time they make complete thoughts in their head on how things work. If they see a bird flying they probably aren?t going to make the conclusion that the bird can fly b/c its bones are hollow and it has wings. (Not unless they were told by their parents are teachers) So they may think about this and say, ?The bird can fly because it?s small.? That is a example of human reasoning. Making a hypothesis from your own observations. So is it to hard to think that humans made up religion just out of stupid human reasoning. Greek mythology is full of examples. So what makes the bible so different? People just seem so mystified by the bible, that they think it?s so remarkable. Every one seems to think 2000 years people were stupid. I will give you another example. People did not know if the world was flat or round. If any one 2000 years ago happened to look up at the sky they would see that the moon and sun formed a circle. And then a person used shadows to prove that the earth was round. The bible said that the world was round. The bible is full of these little things that prove to be right. So people go along with human reasoning at its the best. I image it would be hard to prove something wrong that has been added on to for 2000 years. Please Drix D?Zanth, try to give me a little more of a argument other then quoting every thing I say. You falter me to much by doing so.

The game is a rather simple. Most decks are speed. In witch usaly a red deck would prove to be the fastest. Goblen decks are rather speedy in doing alot of damage fast. They are weak and it sucks when 1 card can kill any of your crapy 2/2 goblens. But it only takes 20 life in most cases to win. Then their are the defence decks. Most of the time using enchantments and artifacts to slow the other person. And in most cases slowing you also. I dont know how good of a player you are. But i would go find a good place online to read all the cards. I will give you a tip. StadicOrb,RingofGix
Originally posted by Drix D'Zanth, The quote amuses me..
I actually did that one while I was pondering over the subject topic. *Gives my self a cookie* I made it "vague" to make people laugh. I would hope a good Christian church wouldn?t fall the to corruption of money and greed.... But when has that ever happened in history...:rotflmao: The point of my post was to stress a point about how there is church and state. But the thing that angers me the most about Christians. Is their ever dying devotion to think that they have absolutely every thing right, and its their life work to save us non believers from going to hell.... Wait. you might say am being "vague" again. Only the Bible beating Christians do that.. Sorry

Stupid things you thought of or did when you were young
AutoKill replied to DragonArcher's topic in General Discussion
I tried to think hard on my childhood thoughts and beliefs. I still can¡¦t think of one. It is a little sad.. ?¼ All I got is I actually thought this little back dog we had really went to a farm. I was about 7 at the time. And just 3 years ago I started wondering about it and I asked my dad. He said the dog ate up the cable and T.V. Cord along with his slippers. So he kicked the dog, breaking 2 of is ribs. So instead of paying the 70$ to put it to sleep, my dad took his 3.5 and shot it in the head out In the woods. So much for Sparky¡K -
I have to agree with Baron Samedi. Even if some odd event happened that showed us all the answers, and it was fact that god created everything. I think Am to stubborn to even go along with it. I would be against the hole idea and probably give god the finger. So it is true your not going to ?turn? some one into a atheist, or religious person just by fighting over stupid factuality?s. One day we are just going to have to agree, for every one to shut the hell up and let people believe whatever they want. The only real reason why this is even that big of a deal. Is the fact that society backfired on being able to support the different beliefs that we have today. I think this will continually be a problem. I just hope it wont become so big we have to pull off another ?King George III?. And ship all of you non-atheist people to a ?New world?.

This hole thing is just another way to get people back in the churches so they can have more people put money in the collection tray. ?Freedom of speech is one thing, but lets not speak to freaken loud.? -AutoKill

Love is something that is almost completely different then attraction. Love is being sheltered and cared for. Is what makes humans so superior to other animals. It?s a bond that keeps humans working together. Its almost like a pack of wolfs and they all stick together to form one unit. They depend on one-another to survive. Humans take love in a different form. But it is still a type of pack. Two people engaged in a form of stability built only on trust and needs. It seems like love has gotten so complicated as time goes on. But it is very logical in nature. When you really think about it. Humans are just another wild animal that just happens to be at the top of the food chain.

It?s a natural thing for a male to want a ?sexy female? for many logical reasons. First off a male wants to have healthy and strong offspring so he looks for a healthy female to have his offspring. Same thing for females. I wouldn?t consider over weight to be healthy or attractive so that?s why other males usually don?t go after one. The theory ( I don?t even consider it a theory any more) survival of the fit is on going in day to day life. Most people just don?t think of it like that. Posted by Shinkoru
Heh yeaaaa. I have another weight problem now lol. I weight more but am slimmer.
You gained muscle mass.... DUH.. ( muscle tissue weighs alot more then fat tissue.)

Today was crapy. ( You should of made a poll, (1)Good,(2)ok,(3)bad,(4)crapy. All in that order) Any way. I had to work in the rain, witch rain dosnt bother me. But if you have glasses its a pain in the *****. As i was working (at a food store) i seen a girl i havent seen for a long time, maybe a year or so. And i knew her really well. Then i seen her bf also. It wasent a thing were their was bad blood. But it seemed like their was. It felt as if they dident like me or somthing. Witch was weird. It could of just been me. I still feel stupid about it. In my mind i felt like they should be glad to see me. ohhh well. thats life for you.

Whats more important: Booksmarts or Commonsense
AutoKill replied to pbfrontmanvdp's topic in General Discussion
commonsence is more importaint. Any one can read a book and learn somthing. Some people can learn it faster then others. Eather way, every one can learn from the book. Commonsence isent inside a book. If their was every blonde girl in ameirca would have it on their night stand.:blulaugh: I would have to say i value a person more on their commonsence then their book smarts. A genus can read a book cover to cover, know everything about history and science. But when it comes to turning on a toster. He will fail do to the lack of commensence he has to plug the toster in. -
Lol.. Good come back Phantom. But no, its not like that, am just messing around. I can?t go threw life without getting a rise out of some one. It would be no fun what so ever. I meant no disrespect, for forizzle. :)

I was just trying to get Shinkoru off the hole idea of her being unattractive.

i wrestled 135lbs in 9th grade. The hardest thing were the practise. So if you are thinking about joining... you better get yourself in the weight room, and start benching. In middle school their were 2 girls that were in wrestling... I dont know about High school tho. It could be possable for a girl to wrestle.
