Those're the ones...not terribly sure on Reaper either, but the other two are fine. Your turn to be asking the question ^_^

Deck Destruction Virus (e. Crush Card). I posted the effect in the Card Advice thread, so look there if you're stuck...
-
27) Imperial Order The deck has removal, but no negatation; with IO, it can stop Raigeki from frying the Fiends or the opponent gaining card advantage with a Pot of Greed. Definitely of use here.

8 Dinosaurs have been released so far...what's more, I'll try and name them: Two-Headed King Rex Guardian Grarl Crawling Dragon #2 Gilasaurus Kabazauls Uraby Mad Sword Beast Mammoth Graveyard Okay...name all the fusion monsters currently available in the English game that a Japanese player could use as DDV fodder.

Guess who just threw 2 SK2s together XD A Kaiba fun deck, similiar to the one at Edo's. Don't ask "Where is 'such and such' a staple?" because chances are, its still in my BP deck, along with a number of other staples. Fusion Deck (4) 2x XYZ-Dragon Cannon 2x XY-Dragon Cannon Ritual Monsters (2) 2x Paladin of White Dragon Tribute Monsters (4) 3x Blue-eyes White Dragon 1x Jinzo Non-Tribute Monsters (effect) (13) 2x Y-Dragon Head 2x Z Metal Tank 2x Kaiser Seahorse 2x Manju God 1x Tribe-Infecting Virus 1x Lord of Dragons (probably to be dropped) 1x Kuriboh (isn't theme, but too much fun to pass up) 1x Sangan 1x Witch of the Black Forest Non-Tribute Monsters (Non-effect) (6) 2x X-Head Cannon 2x Blood Vors 2x Sapphire Dragon Spells (13) 3x Mystical Space Typhoon 2x White Dragon Ritual 1x Monster Reborn 1x Snatch Steal 1x Swords of Revealing Light 1x Heavy Storm 1x Graceful Charity 1x Pot of Greed 1x Flute of Summoning Dragon (possibly to go the same way as Lord of D.) 1x Dark Hole Traps (4) 1x Mirror Force 1x Negate Attack 1x Ring of Destruction 1x Call of the Haunted 42 cards, splits (unlike most decks, where M/T generally outnumber monsters) at 25:13:4, but I do have to cover a lot of tributes. It works surprisingly well...

The only problem I can think of for it is the fact you only have one Ra, but the Goats and Squirrels would buy almost all the time you could concievably need. Fitting in a Spirit Reaper (maybe in place of a Scientist, since you want to keep some LP on the off chance you want to use Ra's LP to ATK or monster removal ability) might help with the stalling. Burori, Breaker is restricted. It's one thing to ask your opponent to play against a deck with a God, but quite another to ask them to let you use more than 1 of a staple IMO. With 50 cards, Paladin will be awfully slow...bring the total down, and focus the deck more on DM. I can see Fiend support there, and you should really be going more for Spellcasters ...

Pot of Greed. Belongs in every deck. I can't think of a deck that couldn't make use of this card. 2 free cards is impossibly hard to turn down.
-
11) Archfiend Soldier I'd say the deck so far could use the muscle; a lot of tribute monsters and low level effect monsters, but based on those chosen, chances are this won't be a demon control deck. So a rusher would be handy.

Yep, that's right. They didn't do anything to the art.

To Shadowfire's: Monster: Oni Tank T-34 Sub Type: Machine Attribute: Earth Level:4 ATK:1400 DEF: 1700 Description: An armored tank possessed by a fiend that will pursue enemies untill they are crushed. Marik_Duelist's: Valkyrion the Magna Warrior Now, onto the next question; what change(s) if any did UD/Konami make to The Ruler of Heaven Shinato?

This deck is looking all over the place already... 7) Delinquent Duo Seeing as it's close to a Hand Disruption with Helpoemer and Yata, makes sense to put it in. It's also one of the more annoying cards you can come up against.
-
Flame Ghost Attribute: Dark Sub Type: Zombie/Fusion Level: 3 Atk: 1000 Def:800 "Skull Servant + Dissolverock" I'm almost absoloutely certain that's right. It's one of those unplayable cards from LOB that's pulled all too often from boosters... Heh, one of my favourites: ??? Attribute: Dark Sub-type: Rock/Effect Level:3 Atk: 900 Def: 900 Flip: ???

Euro deck, I presume? You really shouldn't try a mixture of attributes as a theme (unless it's for a certain reason, like Choas Soldier -Messenger of Creation- or Chaos Emperor Dragon -Messenger of the End-); you'll end up boosting one and neglecting the other. In the Euro game, you'd be better going for one or the other. General fixes, regardless of theme (since some of those card just don't belong there at all): Drop: 2x The Stern Mystic 1x Sword Of Deep-Seated 1x Block Attack 1x Stop Defense 1x Share The Pain 1x Ookazi 2x Dian Keto 1x Luimous Spark 1x Ultimate Offering 1x Robbin' Goblin 1x Trap Hole 1x Fake Trap Add: 1x Heavy Storm 1x Raigeki 1x Axe of Despair 1x Cyber Jar 2x Nobleman of Crossout 2x Field card relevant to the single attribute 1x Imperial Order (PSV just came out) 1x Mirror Force 1x Witch of the Black Forest 1x Premature Burial 1x Call of the Haunted 1x Jinzo And, if ever possible, the standard 3 MSTs...I think/hope that should help, though.

Destroy all of your opponent's Monsters with attack strength of 1500 or more on the Field and in his or her hand. Magic Reflector What does rolling a 6 on Duke's Dungeon Dice field do?
-
Robbery I presume to be Theft. Gets confusing with so many people using different names and translations. Looks pretty good...but Enemy Controller you could do without. Switch a posistion or sacrifice one of your's for temporary control of their's? Not really worth it, to my mind at least. Maybe Sixth Sense or a Kaiser Seahorse -despite it's extremely limited staying power- would be better. Although, just straight dropping the Enemy Controller would bring you to a round 40...

This is generally interesting to think about and discuss. Naturally in tournaments you take into account what's popular in the game as a whole, but in casual play, things can be a little different. What kind of decks do people play where you are, and how have new cards being introduced and what's popular shaped your deck? Have there been any drastic changes in the game where you are? As an example, a change that has happened locally where I am over the past year or so: Before the release of the Pegasus starter deck, M/T removal was pretty scarce; most people couldn't afford to go and spend a lot of money on UR MSTs and generally just stuck with whatever they could get their hands on, or didn't bother with removal. It was pretty rare to see a deck with anything more than a Heavy Storm and Giant Trunade. Sad, but that's the way things were. Due to the lack of decent M/T removal, most people ran beatdowns that were very heavy on equips; people would run Malevolent Nuzzlers (commonplace), Horn of the Unicorn, Sword of Deep-seated...anything that could boost their monsters. Then came the new Starters. Those who could ordered 3 MSTs as singles; others just got the decks. Those that couldn't be bothered going out and buying the decks started decking their old De-spells and Remove Traps to try and adjust to the changing environment. This introduced a great deal more M/T removal than there had been before; suddenly, equip cards weren't lasting as long as they used to. They started seeing less play. Anyway, that's just an example of how a metagame can change. Around here, a lot of people play the same decks they always have; themeless 50 card beatdowns, with the occasional new 1800+ monster added in. They run more M/T removal and less equips than they used to, as I mentioned before. How has this shaped my deck? I try to vary my decks, so that I'm not playing the same boring beatdown the next person is. My trap count is lower than just about everyone else's, with chainable traps being preferrable to triggered ones. I run very few equips, and only use a field card (Necrovalley) with my Gravekeepers. This was intended to leave my decks less vulnerable to the increasing popularity of M/T removal locally. If it hadn't become popular, I may only have made adjustments for removal in preparation for tournaments, since there would have been no need in casual play. I'm afraid I'm starting to waffle (as I do when I try to give a lot of substance to my posts), so I'll let the next poster talk about their local environment.

This is my English tournament deck, although, being Gravekeepers, you wouldn't think it'd be very viable in a tournament. It did get me to the 2nd round (which is the top 8, due to the format Cardshows uses) at the last Glasgow tournament, so it can't be all bad. Unfortunately, I got a past winner who used Magical Scientist to great effect. Tribute Monsters 2x Gravekeeper's Chief 1x Jinzo Total: 3 Non-Tribute Monsters 3x Gravekeeper's Cannonholder 3x Gravekeeper's Curse 3x Gravekeeper's Assailant 3x Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier 2x Gravekeeper's Spy 1x Cyber Jar 1x Magican of Faith 1x Witch of the Black Forest Total: 17 Spells 3x Necrovalley 3x Mystical Space Typhoon 2x Terraforming 1x Pot of Greed 1x Harpie's Feather Duster 1x Monster Reborn 1x Change of Heart 1x Heavy Storm 1x Dark Hole 1x Raigeki 1x Graceful Charity 1x United We Stand Total: 17 Traps 3x Rite of Spirit 2x Waboku Total: 5 Half the fun of this deck is swarming. The other half is messing up recursion for the other player ^_^. Edit: Note that I do not spend that much money on English cards, which is why I'm missing a few staples like Mirror Force and Imperial Order. I'm aware I could do with them.

Yes, he would automatically win, since his opponent couldn't special summon anything.

Well, at least Cost Down'll be easy to get... Mmm...free Jinzo...

Anime How Dark Crisis will change the current game.
Kakashi replied to Domon's topic in Otaku Central
You missed the Dagger of Butterflies... It'll probably have a huge impact on the English game, supposing enough people know how to abuse it...Exodia and Marionette might start seeing more play. Reflect Bounder will invariably be restricted, as it is in Japan, so you'll never have to worry about more than 1. Interdimensional Matter Transporter I can't see getting much play, to be honest...I haven't even considered putting the one I got from SJ2 in my deck (or side-deck, for that matter). Would you really sacrifice a spot that could be taken up by a card like Cylinders or Waboku for it? -
In a chain, the last "link" resolves first...based on that, your opponent was more or less correct. The way it works (to my knowledge): Link 1: Orc attacks Link 2: You chain Cylinders to the attack Link 3: Opponent chains Ring 3 hits first, and without Orc, neither Cylinders nor Orc's attack can resolve.

Hmm...if at all possible, try making changes along these lines... Monsters: Drop: 1x Spell Cancellor 3x Humanoid Slime 3x Island Turtle 1x Revival Jam 1x Maiden Of The Aqua 1x Des La Cooda 1x Spear Dragon (for the sake of theme, if nothing else) Add: 1x Suijin (1 tribute with a Legenday Ocean on the field) 3x 7 Colored Fish 3x Giant Red Seasnake 2x Penguin Soldier 2x Magician of Faith S/T: Drop: 2x Shallow Grave 1x Barrel Behind the Door 1x Horn of Heaven Add: 1x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Heavy Storm 1x A Legendary Ocean 1x Tornado Wall

The guy you were playing was wrong; there were no cards to call, so he couldn't use the effect of Ordeal of a Traveller. If he can't use the effect, his card has no bearing on the game. It would be like using Robbin' Goblin against someone with an empty hand; the card's effect is still active, but you can't force them to discard what isn't there. You should've been free to attack.

You need more S/T (that just doesn't sound right, does it?) removal... Take out the Revival Jam and Jam Defender. There are better ways of protecting your Cocoon than that. Might be an idea to try a Messenger of Peace or 2- stops their monsters killing your Cocoon, and you can choose to stop paying it once Moth's formed.
