Connor sighed after Lyllith left. He just wished he could be with her all the time. He had plenty of time to think about it here in a hospital. But as this thought passed, several doctors came in to inform him he was going to be fine and they were moving him to another room for him to stay in for a while. At least it would be more comfortable. When he questioned them on the whereabouts of his shirt, they told him they had made sure his mother had it and that htey would provide clothes until he left. Speaking of his mother, they also asked if he wanted to see her. Connor imagined his mother was in tears and deeply confused as to why this had happened, or what had happened in the first place. He shook his head and they helped him stand up.

Well, it's certainly interesting to look at ^_^ Ok, I'll be serious now... like M-Knight said, the eye-glare makes it look a little... cross eyed or something... or just... yeah. Considering it was done on Paint, and using the 'line' or 'draw' commands, it's very nice. The colors seem to blend well and so on. Not to mention it's a very unique character.. well, maybe it's not, but it looks like it is. ^_^-V

Danny crawled through the narrow space of some kind of ventilation shaft. He had found the small entrance hatch alomst on a completely different side of the building, and thought it odd that they would be so careless as to leave it in the open. Nevertheless, he took the chance. He froze as a clicking sound came down another segment of the metal tunneling. He immediatly used his 'mind evasion' to make sure who or whatever was there wouldn't see him. It was dark, so he could hardly see, but he made out the outline of a clone, engineered to be small and fit through the vents with ease. So they had thought of this. Whoever 'they' were. To Danny's relief, the clone turned around and started along a different path. Though it couldn't see him, if it had no way around him it would know he was there. Dany started his careful half crawl half scoot down the passage. Every few second he would carefully call out Steffanie's name through telepathy, but wherever she was in the compound, she couldn't hear his calling.

OOC:So everyone's at lunch now, correct? ~~~ Andy sighed and shrugged. "Sisters..." Raven put a hand to her face, frustrated. "Andy, have you been listening at all?" He paused a moment and thought. "Nope." The whole group rolled their eyes. "Look, "Raven continued, "Gary knows we're you-know-what, and now we've got him in a death threat if he tells anyone." Andy swallowed and seemed to consider this. When he appeared to make up his mind, all he said was, "That sucks." Raven rolled her eyes and turned away from him. He knew it was a serious issue, but that's really all there was to say. It did suck. Seeing everyone was a little stressed out about it, Andy decided a little change of pace was in order... "So Caly, you have a date with Mr. Archer yet?" Calypso almost choked on her food and blushed visibly. Andy laughed while Raven gave Caly a look that said, 'Spill it'.

Ah, Silent Hill! At last a Silent Hill RP... judging by the description of the monsters, you've been playing the second one, right? Ok, I'll stop rambeling and sign up now... Name: Rodney Hearson Age: 23 Appearance: Rodney stands at 5'10'' with an average build. He has green eyes and scraggly dirty-blonde hair that comes down a little past his ears. His skin is lightly tanned and sometimes a little dry. His face is friendly looking and fairly attractive. He wears a slightly baggy grey t-shirt, a dark blue jacket with a few olive-green designs on the back, dark blue jeans and mid-sized grayish glasses. Bio: Rodney was not born anywhere near Silent Hill, but that's getting ahead of things. His mother divorced his father only a year after having him, so he grew up with her. He doesn't know very much about his biological father, but his mother remarried to some business man when he was sixteen. He was rather put-out by that, so his mother tried to make it up to him by bringing him to Silent Hill (In game 3 it's said that Silent Hill used to be a vacation town). He didn't enjoy himself much due to his attitude, but admitted it was an interesting place. A year later, his mother had another child (a girl) named Lisa. By now he has a job at a movie theater, but he's under a lot of stress. Now that he has his own apartment, he's decided to look around for his biological father. He found that Silent Hill had been one of his father's favorite vacation spots for a while, and decides to check there. Bad idea to say the least. Reason for coming to Silent Hill: To find his biological father if he's there. Ok, I can't help it... I've beaten (but don't own) S.H. 2 and just beat #3 a week or so ago.

Andy had to resist laughing at Calypso's embarressment, but knew he really shouldn't be so harsh on her like that. He was worried a bit about her, or any student for that matter, having a crush on a teacher, and to be perfectly honest with himself, was even a little jealous of Mr. Archer. He sighed and slammed his locker shut, suddenly aware he was already late for his next class. He really had to stop going off into space like that. He spotted Chris running down the hall and this time couldn't resist. He burst out laughing, though she didn't hear him. After recovering from his giggle fit, he headed for Science. He was of course warned for being late... the third time. They were reviewing today. To Andy this meant one thing- boredome. Less than halfway through the class he slipped out his copy of F&SF Mag and flipped to where he left off. He stuck his pen in his mouth out of habit and became completely entranzed by the short story he was in the middle of, though he was careful to keep it where the teacher couldn't see it. As he read he started to notice little things. There was such a variety of literature in this Sci-fi mag that you never knew what the stories would be about. This one happened to be about several people his own age. Through little twists of his imagination he could picture just about every one of their group in the story. Even Calypso's crush. Andy suppressed a round of laughing as to not alert the teacher of his presence.

Connor, though hardly able to keep himself alert, smiled to Lyllith. He felt tears swell in his eyes, but none fell- he had cried too much already. He tried to talk, he wanted to tell her how glad he was she was here, that she was Ok. He wanted to tell her how much he loved her, and how he would never leave her. Instead of this, however, he coughed at the attempt to speak and pain surged in his chest. His hands tightened on Lyllith's. She looked so worried and so heartbroken, but he pulled her closer and smiled, letting her know he was Ok. Connor reached a hand out to touch Lyllith's face. Even disguised as a human, he could feel the beautiful, perfect face underneath. Taking a deep breath, he managed to speak, "Lyllith... don't... don't let him get to you..." he was talking about Nyler. "I... I love you..." He had to choke back more tears, "and I always will..."

OOC: I'm here, I'm here! Wait for meee! (Damn school!) ~~~ Andrea/Andy didn't bother writing the assignment down- he could usaully remember them. It was the key word in that sentence that normally got him in trouble. He closed his eyes comfortably as Calypso rubbed his back. When she stopped to do her work, he relunctantly lifted his head and looked at the paper in front of him. Five minutes later, listening to everyone in the room chat and letting his mind wander to this month's edition of Fantasy & Science Fiction Magazine (It's a real amgazine... heehee) he realized he had sketched and doodled over most of his paper. "Oops..." He had a feeling this would not bode well with Mr. Archer. Though he smiled slyly and snickered at some of the things he had subconcsiously drawn. He glanced over at Calypso's work to remind himself what they were doing. She was concentrating on her work, knowing he was probably somewhere between His Own Universe and Lala Land. Andy noted with some satisfaction that Caly's work was pretty impressive. He had never been particularly good at art, but it was an easy class and he had Caly here. "Forget what you were doing... again?" Caly giggled and Andy gave a face of mock indignity. "Why me? Never! It's new age!"

I'd just like to say, regardless of your reasons, she does sound like she needs proffessional help. In the nicest way possible of course. When someone gets to the point she's at, somone's got to take action. It sounds corny but... well, you know. You said yourself you were concerned for your own well being, because she may turn violent if it continues. That may be half the reason you're getting her help, but I think that you really do care about her. Who wouldn't try and help someone like your former friend? Honestly, even if someone has the best intentions in mind, their own health is always at the heart of their concerns. It's human nature. I wouldn't stress out about your reasons, and just get her the help she needs.

OOC: Oh dear, seems like you've been having fun with out me... tsk tsk. ~~~ For the third time since any of this had started, Connor found himself immersed in darkness. Of course, he wasn't really aware of it. Several doctors moved about him, examining and treating the wound in his chest. It wasn't incredibly deep, but still made quite an impact. His eyes struggled to open. The monitor next to him beeped in the steady pattern of his heart beat. It all seemed very surreal to him now. The doctors hardly noticed he was waking until his hand moved shakily, clutching his chest. There was an instant flurry of action from them, doing whatever it was doctors do. Connor didn't know or care. His mind was empty, until only one word echoed throughout it. Lyllith The steady beeping grew faster and his eyes, previously trying to open themselves, clenched shut. Silent sobs started to burst from Connor's heart, making the heart monitor start beeping erattically and his whole body to cringe. The doctors tried to restrain him, but tears kept coming and his mouth opened, but no sound came forth. Under the stress and the ever present knife wound, his heart faltered. It quickened, then flickered. A long, steady beep rang throughout the room. The doctors scrambled to help, but everything seemed still. Connors eyes opened at last and stared longingly at the ceiling. He didn't fight it. Didn't fight the will to die. ?Hold on, Connor, don?t die! You can?t die! Just hold on? for me?? ?Connor, oh, Connor. I?m so sorry? Connor!? ?Connor!? ?Oh, dear gods.? "? for me?" His eyes closed, fists clenched. With a single tear running down his face, his heart jolted. The monitor returned to its steady beat.

Name: Andrea Idern (Prefers Andy) Age: 16 Gender: male Role: Member CodeName: Twitch(y) Appearance: Stands at 5'10'' with bright green eyes and a messy flop of dusty-brown hair. His build is reasonable, with lightly built muscles and flexible limbs. His skin is a mid-light tan color with a dark birth mark right above his left wrist. His face is childish, though not terribly so, with big, curious eyes and a light, semi-cute nose. During the day he usually wearsa dull-yellow hoodie with a red radioactive sign on teh back, big baggy blue jeans with several holes near the knees, and blue-ish shoes. Night-clothes: A short sleeve, black shirt that's several sizes too big for him, more snug, black jeans and a dark-blue cap to secure his scraggly hair. Bio: Only God knows why Andrea's mother gave him a girls name. He'll deffinately never know, as he's lived with foster parents for as long as he can remember. He knows they're not his real parents, but seems to forget most of the time. They take more or less good care of him, but don't seem to keep his somewhat mischievious hobbies in check. He was never a bad kid, but rather sarcastic. He's always gotten a laugh out of people tripping over or getting hurt. A year ago, his biological sister showed up and rather shook things up a bit. Until then, he didn't know he had a sister. She's only a year younger than he is, and seems overly critical of many of his habits. Yet life goes on... Personality: Andrea, as said above, is very sarcastic. Normally in a nice way, but he can get carried away occasionally. He's a wise-cracker and a joker, and always looking for someone to talk to. ADHD makes him very active most of the time. Despite his humorous nature, he does think occasionally about serious issues. Mortality, morality, etc. This new death string is a litte odd, but he can usually shrug it off. He's almost always seen with his nose stuck in a sci-fi short story and a pen sticking out of his mouth. Talents: He's very nimble and/or dexterous. He loves computers, but wouldn't know how to fix one for his life. He's a fast learner and can imitate people's behaviors rather well.

Connor held the knife forward, staring at it. It was the answer. It was the end. It was fate. It was destruction. All held inside this tiny sharp instrument. His breath came in ragged spurts, choking on tear after fateful tear. He was curled up like a dying animal, his whole body shaking and twitching from so many soul wracking sobs. He breathed in through his nose once; Lyllith's scent still lingered there. He buried his face in the sheets and cried into them. Maybe, if he imagined hard enough, those beautiful gold eyes would form out of the tear stained covers. All that gazed back at him was the pale green on his sheets. He looked again at the knife, tears blurring his vision. Salvation. Doom. He didn't know lied within it's grasp, but it was better than this perpetual pain, this stinging loss. The knife neared his chest above his sob shaken, broken heart. He pressed the edge to his shirt, his hands trembling with the effort. He winced as pain shot through his chest. His clenched his eyes and kept pushing. The pain grew. This wasn't how he wanted it to happen. Lyllith's name rang clearly through the apartment. His mother glanced in his room's direction but paid it no heed. Somewhere, Lyllith started at the sound. Connor huddled in a corner, blood dripping slowly down his shirt and the knife left abandoned on the floor next to the bed. He was in that same position- knees hugged to his chest and eyes clenched shut. "Lyllith... don't go Lyllith... please... no... come back... Lyllith..."

Connor lay curled up on teh rainy sidewalk for a long time, crying until he could cry no more. He sniffed and sat up cautiously, hugging his legs to his chest in the familiar position. He was afflicted by different visions now. Visions of Lyllith. Her smile, those golden eyes, that delicate black hair. The touch of her steady hand, the warmth of her body against his, the feel of her lips on his own... Connor choked on more tears, using all of his will not to break down again. "Lyllith..." her name came out soft and unsteady with emotional tears. The more he thought; about her, about his family, about his dreams; the more his life would fall apart. Piece by piece. He could see them falling into the dirty puddles everywhere around him. He picked himself up, shaking from head to toe from a mixture of the cold rain and his torn emotions. It was a long walk back home. Lonely without the succubae's hand holding his. When he got to their apartment door, a note was stuck onto the knob telling him his mother had gone out to run some errands. The moment he was inside he closed the door behind him and walked into his bedroom. He collapsed onto his bed, clinging to the sheets and sobbing. The smell of Lyllith's perfect body still clung to the bed. OOC: My... I almost cried for a minute.

Connor tried to reach out to her as she ran, but his legs wouldn't move. His outstretched arm slowly sank back to his side and he stared after her. His tears mingled with the rain, clouding his vision of the fleeing demon girl. Her words echoed in his head, and he stood frozen for a long time, the rain making his hair slick. Even after she was out of sight, he could barely move. The next sign of movement was a sob-wracked breath. He collapsed against the nearest wall and sank to the ground. He called her name out several times, as if she would return if he willed it. But there was no reply. Only the patter of rain and the oprehensive looks of passer-byes. He didn't care how many people glared at him through a critical eye, or how long the rain beat against the cement. He buried his face in his hands and sobbed still. He had no one now. He was completely alone. Any other person would have convinced himself that there would be somone else, but Connor didn't try to fool himself. He had fallen in love with a demon and paid the price. Loss.

Connor shook his head, afraid he may burst into tears if he spoke. He held Lyllith's hand, some of the shaking starting to return. He swallowed hard and started to slow down, though they weren't walking very quickly. He broke and hugged Lyllith to him, tears streaming silently down his face. "I can't... I won't leave you. Even if he comes.. I could never..." He shook almost violently and held her tighter for support. "If he took you I'd rather be dead anyway..." She was the one spark of light in his universe of perpetual sadness and torture. If she did die, he would more likely commit suicide before Nyler could get him. He clung to her for dear life as tears flowed freely from both their eyes. "Lyllith... my Lyllith..."

Connor had to avert his eyes, his cheeks were bright crimson. His mother smiled, though it was obvious on her face that she was glad she walked in on them. "That's a very pretty name Vanessa." She looked at connor on the floor, "Connor, Heather is staying with her friends today." Connor's eyes looked back to his mother, and he swallowed shyly. "She asked you to feed her fish." He nodded affirmation. With a smile, his mother turned and left the room, heading into teh kitchen. Connor stood up slowly, turning to look at Lyllith who stood up as well. "I'm sorry..." he started, but Lyllith put a hand to his lips to hush him. They walked out of his room together. His mother could be heard walking about in the next room. "Connor, could you come help me with this?" Disappointment showed on Connor's face. He knew what was coming. He relunctantly left Lyllith's side to talk to his mom. When he entered the room, his mom looked at him with a critical eye and spoke in a slightly hushed voice, "Connor, I know how you feel at this age... oh, what am I saying. You're almost an adult and here I am talking to you like a preteen." She put her hands on Connor's shoulders, "Just... try to restrain yourself, Ok honey?" Connor nodded submissively and she smield again. He walked back out to Lyllith. He made sure his mother wasn't watching held her hands in his. "You'll... you'll be back, won't you?"

Connor was going by a nature he didn't know he had. At first, when Lyllith's toungue touched his own, a thrill went through him. Now his own toungue teased hers as well, and his blush just about disappeared. He brushed a few strands of her beautiful black hair away from her cheek. Now he felt desire. The strongest physicle attraction. If he had any friends, he may have though they would never believe him. But his only though now was of Lyllith. His hands slipped under her shirt, enjoying the feel of her bare skin. His breathing quickened, and he noticed hers was too. He pulled their lips away for only a moment. He gazed at her, saying without words how beautiful she was. His mouth opened to speak, and his throat seemed determined not to elt the words come out. A deep breath and he said just over a whisper, "I love you... Lyllith."
-
Connor felt a blush heat his face, but he didn't care. Lyllith... her body was warm and comforting. His shaking ceased and he lost himself, his eyes closing. This was as unfamiliar to him as it was to her, but it all seemed so natural, so right. It seemed like forever until their lips parted again. Their breathing synchronized, their breath flowing over each other's faces and their chests pressing together lightly. Their heads rested together, their eyes level with each other. Lyllith licked her lips and Connor held her to him like she had been gone a long time. Connor desperatly wanted to say something, to tell her something. But the words caught in his throat and he couldn't bring himself to say it. Was it even true? He didn't know... his whole life had been spent in fear. Most other emotions were a mystery to him. He tried to speak again, but swallowed his words again. Instead, he held her tighter and kissed her lightly.

Connor stood in amazement. His mouth hung open slightly, still warm from Lyllith. More questions flooded through his head, but he did think he understood just a little of what was happening. He touched a few careful fingers to his lips as if trying to see if it was real. Suddenly snapping back to reality, his dull blue eyes flicked around the room, embarressed and nervous. "Um... n..." his speech was almost worse than when he had visions. He finally stuttered out, "Don't be... don't be sorry. It..." the words were there, but Connor couldn't find them. Lyllith looked like she was going to fly off, and Connor took a clumsy step forward, "Wait, don't go!" When she paused, so did he. "Um... please... don't go..." He felt like he needed her. Like his life would crumble back into it's sad state if she left.
-
Connor paused for a moment that seemed to last an eternity. He couldn't give her an answer. He honestly didn't know. He assumed he felt this way bcause she had removed the visions... but he wasn't even sure anymore. Before he realized what he was doing, he knelt next to her on the floor. He didn't touch her, because he knew she would probably back away and scorn him for it. "I... don't know, but..." he looked up into the ceiling. He wasn't sure how to finish the sentence. Giving up on that, he looked back down at Lyllith. She wasn't like herself... or what he had seen of her. There was desparity in those golden eyes. A few words came to him. "...but maybe now you can see what we feel." 'We' was meant as humans.
-
Connor ripped his eyes away from her and stared at the floor, an ashamed look on his face. "I'm sorry..." his voice was hardly above a whisper. His mind sank as she spoke, first terrified that she would have to return the curse, then feeling a numb disappointment. He couldn't really describe it; he couldn't describe what he felt towards this demon girl. He looked to his side, towards the kitchen, "You... you want something?" She knew what he meant and sighed silently. She really had no need to eat or drink human food, but maybe it would calm both of them. "Sure." A few minutes later, Connor handed her a cup of hot cocao. He had looked through their small pantry and it was about all he could think of to do. He sat down opposite her and averted his eyes when he realized his was staring at her again. But still, he had to ask, "Why... why did you come back?"
-
Connor sat on his bed. The apartment was empty except for him. His father had gone to work, and his mother had taken his sister to see her friends. His usual morning routine of cowering on the floor of his room had been broken. He no longer felt the need to be afraid. Even so, the memory of past nightmares still made him shudder, though they no longer affected him in the same way. Someone knocked on the door. Connor thought at first his mother had returned early, but a feeling ran through his core. It was indescribable, but familiar. Was it another demon or had Lyllith returned? He gulped and stood slowly, walking towards the door. He opened it slowly, his eyes near to the floor. When he looked up, his breath caught. Without even realizing it, his hands began to shake a little. When his lungs aloud him to, he spoke, "Lyl... Lyllith."

Danny paused and turned around. It was obvious teh action had calmed down, if not stopped completely. He ran back to where Imric and Soulin should be and looked at each of them in turn. His eyes begged teh question... did they get her? Imric shook his head sadly, and he was obviously angry at himself for letting his sister slip through his grasp again. Soulin's suppressed his powers the best he could, witch seemed to fade out on their own now that the threat was gone. Danny's gaze sunk to the ground. They had attempted a rescue and failed. Even with just about every powerful mutant from the school, this mysterious antagonist evaded them yet again. With Steffanie. It was at this point Danny snapped. Something clicked in his head, and he couldn't stand it any longer. Without waiting for anybody, he set off in witchever direction they had aparently gone. He didn't care how long it took. He would walk for miles if he had to. He was sick of this. Sick of them. Someone was gonna burn, and they sure as hell deserved it.

Conner stared into empty space, his mind having trouble realizing Lyllith had just disappeared. At last, he breathed again and swallowed. His hands gripped the edge of his bed, then slowly relinquished their grip. A single breath exited his body, almost visible in the dull light of the moon, and he shivered at the sudden cold he felt. A room away, his sister, Heather, stirred in her sleep but did not wake. Good thing too. Connor was not in a good condition to be seen by any member of his family. He no longer shook, but was slumped next to his bed. His legs were sprawled out in front of him, and his finger traced the yin-yang over and over again on the soft carpet. He was wondering... why. Why had a succubus clensed him of his curse? Why had she left so suddenly? Why had she seemed so shaken? Why...? The list could go on and on. He thought once again of Lyllith's form and shivered, though not from the cold. He hugged his legs to him again and just sat. Why...?
