1. I actually restarted my regiment last week, its pretty hardcore but thanks to the marvels of modern science I can keep it interesting with my MP3 player. Mondays and Friday I blast Cardio (running, Biking, Jump Rope, Suicides, wind sprints, and finish with lap swimming) Wednesdays and Saturdays are upper body (Bench Press, Shoulder Shrugs, Lat Pull downs, Butterflies, Dead Lift, Curls, Run, finish with swimming) Thursdays and Sunday's are Lower body (Squat, Leg Press, Calf Shrugs, Run, Bike, finish with swimming) Tuesdays are my laid back days where I do everything mentioned above, except low weight.
2. I've never played the original Star Ocean, I caught the second in the series. I loved the multiple endings via your choices aspect it made the playability pretty high. I regret that due to my military responsibilities I didn't get to re-play SO3, I'm really psyched about this one. I'm also sort've torn because I'm thinking Last Remnant is going to kick @** and If the rumors are true I'll be logging a TON of hours on it. Personally I've always liked the clash between fantasy and modern day, I guess you really can't mix the two. Maybe I should say I love the clash between Medieval and Modern day worlds; really makes for a great game in my opinion. Oh and yes Matt you are a nitpicky arse, but without people like you, people like me would never see ANY of the downsides to games, so don't change anything.
3. I'm all for them, if any of you have any good ideas for side quests along the way let me know by PM first please. I have a lot planned out for the "main" quest already, and yes you're going to have to suck it up and fight alongside the acolyte later on down the road. Not saying we won't do them, just not all at once.
4. She was the one; the whole time he knew she was the one who would cause all the trouble. Acolyte picked himself up off the ground and approached Sasuki, even though she wasn't even close to being back to full strength she still packed a punch. Acolyte drew the halberd off his back, it weighed as much as 5 men but he handled it as though it were a tooth pick. "Am I supposed to be scared?" Sasuki boldy taunted him. Acolyte pressed the tip to her throat, the whole time her eyes met his gaze. "No, if I wanted to scare you I would just tell you that with one word your jewel shard will lose its glow and you will die again." Still her eyes locked into his. "This time when you die, I will desecrate your body, burn it, so that you may never return. Never have the opportunity to find her." Acolyte was much, much stronger than her at this point. He quickly moved behind her, striking her with the handled of his halberd in the process rolling her out of his spot. The anger in her eyes seemed to be an attack itself, but something new was aside it. Fear, or rather something masking itself as fear. Loathing, helplessness, it mattered not; this was his game for now. "Get down there and find that boy you let go, if he tells anyone of your return you and your band will face the shogun far to early." He allowed his eyes to be taken off her, with her daughter in the mix she would not fail him. "I promise you and the rest of your group freedom if you cooperate with me. Make sure to let the others know that, or don't it matters not. You cannot kill me or your shards will shatter, that one you should pass on. Hate for you to lose your daughter because of one of the others indiscretion." Acolyte allowed himself to get lost once more in the battle. It seemed Natsu was hesitant to allow himself to be brought back.
5. hehe, that's actually a long funny story for me, but I can summarize pretty easily. At my current job (which I've been at for almost two years not) I have a boss whose respect I've been trying to earn since I've been there. I've admired his style of management and have tried to emulate it, assuming of course that would be enough. Well though our center's numbers have been the top of the division, I still am yet to get that "thataboy" I've been hunting for. Though I think I have a plan, he and his wife just had a baby. I'm going to try and find out what the other members of the management team are getting them as a gift and best them. (Can't hurt to try)
6. Just a suggestion, because I'm not sure if there will be anything worth while out this time next year. You should plan on making your final movie a new release at a theater. I think it would be the way to end it in my opinion, or better yet because I'm not sure if you started already or not, but make your first and last movies something out of the theaters. I don't know, could be something neat to add. Oh and by the way are you planning on giving us reviews of all your movies?
7.
Please keep in mind however that the more colorful the drink, the less manly you are.
I've always pictured you as a "whiskey girl". Sorry about the Toby Keith reference, it fit though.
8. Okaru sat still broding over the fact he may have killed his chances at taking his exams. In fact he was sure he did, since it had been so long. Just then, Raiga-sensei himself entered the room. "Matsuda just passed, and its your turn." Okaru couldn't help fight the smile that had crept up on him. "On one condition I'm afraid." The smile quickly faded, what could sensei want of him? "First off, what possibly possessed you to assault Matsuda like that?" Okaru knew he would have to answer this question. Okaru bowed deeply, showing as much sincerity as he could, "Sensei, I'm sorry; Matsuda and I had words after his sparing session with Hotaru went wrong. I tried containing myself but I couldn't." Sensei seemed to be buying it, but he wasn't sure. Raiga-Sensei strood towards Okaru, got right in his face. "You need to learn to control yourself." His hands moved faster than Okaru had ever seen, he grabbed Okaru's face and twisted. Okaru's nose made that sickening snapping noise again, just the same as when Matsuda had popped him. "There now that your nose is fixed, let's go. It's time for your exam." Okaru followed Raiga-Sensei out the room. Eyes were on him as they passed other students, each one brandishing their new headband with pride. Okaru was about to be one of them, that thought left him when they entered the exam room. He saw lady Tsunade standing in front of the exam room with a stern look on her face. "You should thank Raiga-Sensei, if it weren't for him you wouldn't even have a chance." The words from Tsunade's lips made Okaru cringe, how close had he really come? Raiga-Sensei's voice was the next he heard. "We've already passed you on the Taijitsu part. It seems you are apt enough there." The rest of the exam was pretty simple, a wind bullet, a wall run nothing to hard. Okaru had expected an impossible task since Lady Tsunade was unhappy with him. "Okay Okaru, now for your final task." Tsunade got up from her seat and appraoched Okaru, stared him straight into the eyes, "Demonstrate the Shinning Eye" Okaru almost reeled over. That was his families Jutsu, and he was being asked to demonstrate it? Feeling offended, and trapped Okaru took a step back. To use a sacred Jutsu in anything but life or death combat was unheard of. "Well tough guy?" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okaru exited the room, headband in hand. Somehow he felt as though it wasn't worth it, that he let his parents down. Now more than ever he felt as if he should apologize to Matsuda.
9. It was dark......and then it wasn't. Just that quickly the room brightened with the light of day. John awoke to his mother standing over top of him, "John, John we have to hurry. The fires are coming and we only have a few minutes to escape." John didn't know how he knew what "the fires" were, but he did. He jumped up, got dressed and ran out the front door with his family. "Oh no, we're too late. I'm so sorry honey, so sorry you were too weak to stop this." John looked to the sky and saw the "fires". They were exactally what you would think they were. Flames, or rather balls of flame, fell from the sky exploding on impact destroying whole blocks and reducing the buildings to nothing more than foundations. "Mom what caused?" The house next door was hit directly with one of those balls of fire. John was thrown into the air as the ground exploded under him, as he flew into the air his mother flew up to his face. "You could've saved us....I'm sorry...you were weak." John looked on in horror as his mother's face melted there in front of him, leaving nothing but a skeleton with a sick smile on its face. John continued his acension until he was in space looking at the earth. Perched on the tip top of it was a dragon. It was as big as the pole in which it sat upon, its tail wraping its way around the earth twice. Its roar was defining, it brought its head straight up, mouth open, and unleashed a fireball as big as the moon. The fireball orbited the earth a few times before exploding into hundreds of smaller ballls that were the ones falling to earth, the ones that killed his mother. John opened his mouth in a soundless scream, he tried to figure out how he could've prevented this? What he could've done, and then it hit him. The battle, Victoria was still there and he could help somehow, but how? John opened his eyes, and saw Eon, back in human form, charging Victoria. Nasty claw things attached to her hands, "Oh god, Victoria can't win this." This was proven when Eon dropped her shoulder and slammed into Victoria sending her sailing. Not knowing anything else he could do, John shut his eyes and concentrated. "If her powers alone aren't enough, maybe I can give her some of mine." John thought to everything he, Victoria, and Tetra had gone through in the past few days. How he had hated Victoria so, but yet Tetra had tried so hard to get them together; and how now he didn't hate her at all, he....he loved her. John pointed his palm towards Victoria, "Please, oh please let this work." He felt his energy move up from his feet to his hand, gathering itself along the way. A small ball formed in his palm, "I hope this works" he threw it her way, passing out simultaneously....."I hope this works.....
10. Acolyte motioned to a stalagmite near Aderyn, “Perhaps you could do the honor of gathering everyone’s weapons and clothes. Distribute the clothes, but place the weaponry on the cave floor.” They were disoriented, it seemed only a couple had retained any knowledge of themselves; most notably Artemis who seemed to be completely conscious of the whole ordeal, and disturbingly he knew a lot about the Acolyte’s quest. It was amazing that none had noticed Natsu’s delay in fully returning. He was back in body, but hadn’t yet done much other than move around a tiny bit. That was something he hadn’t calculated in; before they died Natsu was their “leader”, or rather, was the one who originally started the band. After clothes had been distributed and the weapons placed on the floor it was time to answer some questions he knew the entire group would have. “You are probably wondering why you have been reawakened?” He continued without a pause, “as Artemis has already explained; I am the Acolyte, and you may call me that. You were once the band of seven, unfortunately I was only able to locate the six of you. It seems one of you has gone missing; that matters not. All you need to know is that I have a mission for you to carry out if you wish to stay this way.” Instead of giving any of them the opportunity to display impertinence, Acolyte pointed to Sasuki; muttering the words to himself. Acolyte stared in amazement as she dropped to her knee, the pain had to be excruciating, yet she didn’t show it in her face nor did she make a sound. He quickly relinquished the command; the others looked on as she stood up staring at him with a sheer look of hatred. Out of any of the group she was the one that worried him; in history she was told as the one who suffered the most in life. Her particular death would make her untrusting of a man, and less likely to obey orders. “That is but a small taste of the penalty for disobedience. I’m sure Artemis can explain the details of your resurrection if you wish to know. All I care about is you following my instructions.” Several of the group had looks of pure anger on their faces; it was invigorating having such ruthless killers in such close vicinity without a drop of fear. “Half a day’s walk east from here, there is a peach garden. There is a woman there, or rather a demon in the form of a woman. This is the demon that possesses Izanami’s eyes, your first mission. Be wary, she is a master of illusion, and will not give them away without incident. I will contact you after the completion of your mission. Be careful though, your powers have not totally returned yet. It will take some time, probably weeks in fact, for you to return to full strength.” Acolyte murmured the words he had memorized from his teleportation scroll and quickly started dematerializing. “Oh by the way, there are a group of farmers outside. They are the only mortals who know of the Band of Seven’s reawakening. Try to make sure to kill them all, I would hate for you to have to face the Shogun’s army this soon.” --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Acolyte reappeared at the cave top; the bushes marked the perfect spot to watch the confrontation. This would be his first time seeing the bands skills in action. He hoped they would be as good as the legends told, otherwise the 50 or so farmers slowly making their way to the cave entrance would prove to be too much to handle.
11. First off I wish you well, secondally I wish you could get ahold of some camera's and send a copy of the video (well I guess DVD now a days) to the California state capital. I know this isn't marriage but hell that bill shouldn't have even been on the ballot. Okay done ranting, don't want to take anything away from the Prop 8 thread. But honestly congratulations are in the highest order, you'll have to pass that on to the couple from the boards.
12. The only qualm I have with mixing Vodka with anything is that "normally" (based on the people I've drank with) people that mix enough other stuff in to completly take the alcohol taste away, usually are the people that get full before they get buzzed. I don't know about the sugar, might have to try it. Would you recommend cherry or Grape?
13. So that was his answer huh Nessaja? I'd like the band to stick together if possible, I'm all for the side quest (though I think somebodies going to have to chase Cheese Master back into the cave :animesmil.) Great posts so far, We have everything from an innocent youngster to a sadistic demon. Just have to wait for Lonley and Blackbird (yes she's in) and we'll move on to find those eyes.
14. Honestly I don't mind, it could add to her character. But I'll leave that up to the group, it sort've strays from the mortals capturing and killing the band of seven. But again I'll leave it up to you guys if you want to do something to that end.
15. "Damn that bastard's smart" I mumble to myself, it seems as though Isaac had already prepared for my doppelganger type escape. Just past the doors that lead to my ?exit? is an airlock looking thing that even I can tell is a spirit energy detector. One at a time the guards walk in, the doors slam shut behind and in front of them. There is then a blue light emitting from the cracks in the door; it looks like I have to find another escape route. I glance to my right down the hallway where just my luck, a spirit is wondering around. ?Thanks, I owe you one.? I know that god must have tripped some of the other cells in the jail area, letting loose the other souls Isaac had trapped. ?There he goes!? I don?t wait for the rest of the group to acknowledge me; I just bolt down the hallway in pursuit. The less time I spend with those mortals, the less likely they are to notice I?m not who I?m trying to be. The spirit leads me on a marry chase, I think for just a moment about bursting out of my shell and destroying him. It?s a hard habit to break; you try reaping every soul ever created and not have it become second nature to you. I resist the urge though and continue my pursuit, all the time hoping and praying he?s under divine influence, and I?m not just chasing my tail. It?s amazing how many things go your way with god on your side. I come upon a window to what appears to be an exercise yard. The walls are incredibly high, and I?m sure made out of pure Iron. Iron is a medium that spirits cannot pass through, but the spirits they allow to freely roam out here are allowed this time I?m sure because they don?t have the ability to fly like I do; no wonder they never let me out to play with the other prisoners. The door has no handle, but an access card slot. Now what are the odds that this particular guard is one privileged enough to have a card key? Remember what I said about having god on your side, so of course he did. I quickly scan it, with a whir and a couple clicks of mechanical locks freeing, the door slides open giving me my escape. I can?t deny it; even though I enjoy spending my free time in my underworld abode, the sun on my face feels amazing. I even allow myself a half second pause to just enjoy it before I rip out of the body I took over. I?ll spare you the details, but as I said earlier that when I enter a body I destroy the soul. Now when I exit the body, that?s when it?s destroyed; or rather blown apart. I never took the time to learn how to dematerialize myself inside a mortal shell; I guess I never saw the point since the soul is already gone? Outside I call out my sword incase of any resistance and begin my ascension over the wall. I wish I could say I move at the speed of light when I fly, but unfortunately it?s not much faster than my ?accelerated? speed I move at normally. Still near Isaac?s facility, however, I?m affected by whatever sort of nasty machine he has that restricts this ability, so I?m stuck flying at the speed a normal human runs. As I figured about the time my body cleared the wall was about the time somebody spotted me. Every alarm in the place went off no more than a second after I was spotted; apparently during my captivity Isaac?s crew had developed another nasty toy. A new siren that was capable of producing an ear splitting tone, which is ear splitting if you are a spirit. The force of the sound wave killed my concentration, and in a second I was plummeting to the ground. I know what you?re thinking, ?well that won?t hurt you; you?re the Grim Reaper.? All I have to say about that train of thought is ?Shut the hell up!? I do indeed feel mortal pain, and though I won?t break any bones from the eighty foot drop; I will hurt like hell from it. Luckily I?m not too disoriented to stand up, or run for that matter. I start to cross the field that lies outside of the compound, as I finally get near a distance where I can think a blur shoots by me at a speed equivalent of mine. The thing stops on a dime, and then turns and faces me. It?s exactly what I fear it is; it?s Isaac. ?I see you?ve upgraded a bit eh?? The last time I saw Isaac in that prison cell earlier today he was in a body that looked just like his humanly body. Fake skin, muscle, hell probably fake blood running through the veins was what he used. Apparently that had only been for show, because this thing in front of me couldn?t even be classified as human. It had a human head, Isaac?s head to be precise. The body was that of a body builder who spent his life on muscle beach, except for the fact that it was about 12 feet tall. Apparently he liked the fact that it resembled a human because he still went with the fake skin thing; it was easy to tell by looking, however, that there was no fake muscle underneath. This thing was all machine baby. Upon further investigation, the head wasn?t what I thought it was. It was Isaac?s head all right, but it had two small matching machines sticking out of each temple. The arms, while appearing to be that body builder look, had things that looked like small canisters underneath the skin in the forearms. The legs were covered so I was unable to examine them any further. It looked like our battle was going to come sooner than later. I brought my sword up, though I rarely ever have to use my combat skills. Every once in awhile we?ll hold a tournament in hell, every year I win. So I?m fairly certain if I can beat demons that have lived for thousands of years, I can beat a human no matter what kind of machine he?s wearing. Sure he beat me the first time we squared off, but that doesn?t count since his little minions got involved and started hammering me with lead bullets, remember spirit can?t pass through lead, so lead can?t pass through us. He doesn?t even say a word; with nobody around he doesn?t feel the need to sound heroic. We lock blades; sparks are thrown everywhere, I won?t deny that I enjoy the thrill. Isaac kicks me in the chest, sending me reeling backwards. Unfortunately for him we?re far enough away that his little machines at the facility aren?t affecting me so I?m right back on him. I feint a forward slash, and when he tries to parry I break into a spin bringing my blade straight at his head. He ducks at the last second, and comes up with an uppercut that lands straight in my ribs. The pain is instant and excruciating. I?m not without my tricks though; as soon as the shock subsides I lash out with a kick that lands in his chest. It was all for show though, I use my planted foot as a pivot point an spin myself into a kick that hits home straight in his head. I roll onto my feet and am met with a sword coming straight at my face, sure he can?t kill me. There?s no way that he?s going to knock me out and drag me back into that facility until he can though. I managed to duck it, spin and before I know it the opening I?ve been looking for. My sword rushes for his neck, there?s no time for him to dodge and it connects. Unfortunately for me, it bounces right off. ?I guess I upgraded a little more than you thought eh?? that sissy nasally voice he possess, god I hate it. Though I?m startled I don?t give him an opening, we?re back to crossing swords. Slash, parry, thrust, he starts gaining ground on me. A lot of ground, and I?m not up to full strength yet. Finally he goes for the knock out blow, he swings his blade with all his might at my midsection, I parry and we?re locked. He moves so our blades are crossed right in front of my face. ?Want to see another trick?? The arrogant bastard exclaims with a tone of victory in his voice. One of those cylinders makes a noise on his sword arm, and instantly I?m sent airborne. Nothing but the scent of gunpowder up my nostrils, I land hard on my side. I have absolutely no strength left; he zapped it all out of me with that cylinder full of lead shot. He slowly makes his way to me; I grab my blade and thrust it into the ground. I mumble a few words, knowing that this type of teleport technique could land me anywhere in the world, but I don?t care, just want out of here. Everything goes dark as the last drop of energy leaves my body, I know the teleport worked. I just hope I?m not back where I started??
16. I was watching the avatar the other day with my newphew. I had checked it out when it first came out, and was amazed how far they've come. During all the commercials they advertised "Avatar Legends", a pc game in which you can create your own avatar character. I've always thought the avatar would make a great game, i think they made one for a console but I could be mistaken. I was wondering if anyone plays this, and what exact style of game it is.
17. Chapter 1: The Lich King The hardest part was securing the bodies. It was amazing to me that the same people who put the band of seven to death, would fight so hard to protect them. Of course, they weren?t protecting them from being destroyed, rather protecting them from people who wanted to do just what I am about to do. Finding and securing the jewel shards needed was a piece of cake, though the ones who had them in their possession probably didn?t see it the same way. Hell, I even had to pry the fingers open off a severed hand; nobody said it was going to be easy, and I wouldn?t have it any other way. So here we are, 5 of the band of sevens dead bodies lying lifeless in front of me; 5 sacred jewel shards in my hand, it?s almost time. I just have to wait for midnight; I still find it strange that most major rituals, no matter what the intent seem to take place at midnight. I guess sometimes the line between good and evil really is thin. As the witching hour approaches I embedded the jewel shards deep in the flesh of the back of their necks. It?s an easy task; the flesh is so decayed they slide right in. I take a step backwards examining the bodies; the plan is finally coming to fruition. Over a hundred years of almost non-stop searching, I have a running tally in the back of my mind of the 400 people that lost their lives during my search; every one of them I killed brought a smile to my face, a smile brought by the knowledge that I was one step closer to this moment. I open the book in front of me and chant in the language of the ancients, and an immediate chill fills the room of the cave. This is the very cave that these particular individuals were executed in. I thought at first it was an odd place, but the pitch black of the deepest cavern in the region is sort of fitting. The closest place to hell in the area; there is something almost romantic about it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Acolyte shielded his eyes as the room was enveloped with the very fires of hell. The heat was unbelievable; even he, born of fire, broke out into a sweat. As quickly as they came, the fires subsided leaving the smell of brimstone, and burned flesh in its wake. ?It?s happening even faster than I imagined, their bodies already resemble their former selves.? Acolyte continued to watch the transformation as the old decayed skin dripped off the body like it was oil. He continued to ponder the whole time what they must be going through, and how they would take to being brought back. Would they be grateful? Or would they be angry? Either way, he took every precaution. Their weapons were stashed behind the various stalagmites around, the various controlling phrases memorized in the back of his mind. At the slightest hint of an attack he would hit them with more pain then they ever felt, or if they kept coming he would utter the second command word; the one that would cause the jewel shard to evacuate the body, killing them instantly. The first one was now standing; the skin old skin had been replaced with wet looking muscle. He still couldn?t tell which one this was, but he didn?t care. It was yet again, one step closer to his goal.
18. I can't believe I forgot the macy's parade. That's as big a thanksgiving staple as turkey. Also, I was always hesitant to go out on black friday for fear of being mauled. But I tried it a few years ago and I do it every year. My mother and aunts always got together and went, so I got a bunch of my friends and we do a guys version.
19. An explosion rocked john, knocking him off his feet. "John she still can use her power over her blood in this new form, careful" Glancing to his right, John saw a small trickle of blood left over from that massive explosion. This was bad, her powers were lethal enough as a human, but with the amount of blood that thing possessed..."oh boy". John focused on Luthian once more, in order for him to help Victoria he would have to stop Luthian quickly. Somehow he had to get the beast up on two legs, but how? It was way to big to force up...but maybe...yes that was it. John had realized when he sucessfully defended himself against the flames that his powers had grown far beyond his wildest dreams...and prehaps beyond Luthians understanding as well. It was going to be a one shot maneuver, only one chance to get this right. "What's wrong big guy? Realizing your flames can't even come close to beating my ice?" John did his best to taunt the beast, make him fire again. Bingo, Luthian's head shot back. Preparing another burst of that red hot death, as his head snapped forward. John quickly conjured another ice shield around himself. This time, he made sure to make it extra thick so some ice would survive. As the flames lept all around him, John couldn' thelp but stare i awe as the flames created a rainbow of colors as it prism'd through the ice. As the flames subsided John sprung, blasting forward with all his might he shattered his ice shield into countless small ice daggers, each one a death waiting to happen. That is of course you aren't a 20 ton dragon with armor that would make the united states military crap in their pants. As the shards pummled Luthian, John ran forward. Praying that the attack would have the desired and he wouldn't be eaten before he made it. As everything had been going for once, the attacked worked the way he planned. Luthian was driven up on his back legs, revealing his soft underside, well almost soft. John took the spear end of his halberd and thurst it as deep as he could in the beasts neck, unfortunetly that's all he could do. He was met with a swiping paw that sent him into the back of Victoria's legs droping them both to the ground. "damn it clumsy don't you think I have enough to worry about?" John couldn't help it, he laughed. Even through all this, Victoria was still Victoria. Still hated him, still had the smart butt in her. His smile faded as he looked up, standing over him was Luthian. A growl from behind told that Eon was standing over Victoria. "John.." Victoria's voice trailed off into nothing more than a wimper. That's when John noticed the wave coming from Luthians neck. It wasn't much, but it was obvious what it was. Just like when the igniter doesn't light the gas on your stove, and it slowly leaks out. The methane was pouring out of Luthian's neck; and he had no idea. "Common beasties, your flames can't touch either one of us." John tried provoking them as he had before. "I would much rather eat them fresh!" Eon was directing at luthian, "No! I want that little wretch burned to a crisp, how dare he mock the very fires that bore me life!" Both dragon's heads reeled back in unison as they had probably done countless number of times to countless numbers of victims. "John, what do we do?" Victoria's voice was almost inaudible now. "We don't do anything, I took care of Luthian. And what I'm about to do is going to take the rest of my power, its up to you now V." As the beasts heads shot forward John made one last Ice shield around the heros. The ice walls on Luthians side were shattered when the explosion rocked them. John was thankfull that the ones on eon's side were holding nicely. He wasn't so thankful though for the horn that appeared flying towards him. It was what remained of Luthian's head....John could have divereted some ice to its side. Probably saved himself, but it doing so would have risked Victoria, and he wasn't willing to lose another friend. The horn dug itself deeply into Johns abdomen, he prayed he would pass out from the pain quickly, but his luck today had run out. All he could do was lay in agony, bleeding, praying he would make it out alive. But doubting he would, he fought the urge to scream, for to do so would distract Victoria from her fight. "common V, you can do this..."
20. I was hoping to get some more sign-ups so we could have the full seven, but I'll allow a couple late starters in case anyone is "on the fence". I'll be getting this up and running tomorrow morning, and sending a pm to everyone right after I do. If any of you have any questions feel free to post them here, or PM me directly. Just a heads up the first mission will be pretty heavy, and Lonley Fighter will be taking the lead....
21. I decided to throw my two cents in here, all my picks are pretty obvious choices. Kinda sad I got my crush on her when watching "The Notebook" with my fiancee. You can't have a list like this and not have those famous lips and eyes. And perhaps the most obvious choice of all, Jessica Alba. I've always loved/respected the fact she hasn't altered her body like 90% of other female celebrities.
22. Once you start leveling up to at least level 10 head to the square on your map in the far upper right hand corner. You'll find some interesting beasties up that way.
23. Drizzt Do'urden

Bjork

Interesting....I, like most people probably, have only heard reference to Bjork in a comedic reference. This is quite honestly the first time I've heard any of her stuff, and I'm not real sure how to rate it. I can't say it was my cup of tea, but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Can you recommend any other songs? I'd hate to just go clicking on you tube or limewire and sift through undesierable stuff.
24. "I can't believe that son of a bitch." Greg thought allowed as he switched to the secure line Draco had called him with. "What the hell was that?" He spat as soon as he got to the line, the tremor hadn't looked much different. But it was unreal how much better it was this time than last, there was no way they could win if the judges were modifying that fast. "That, was a gundam modified with gundanium armor." Draco replied, he must have been refering to the barage Greg fired, only to have his bullets bounch off. "Gundam..." Draco's voice trailed off as he made this statement. "What do you mean Gundam? You mean that things...no way its just a tremor modle MS." That was when the idea hit Greg, a simple plan envolving the infiltration and capture of the plans the judges used. Well in this plan, they'd be subsituting the word simple for suicidal, and plan for desperate attempt. "Draco, get all your top boys together when we return home. Get the soonest time available we can all meet, I think I know how we can level the playing field. I'll contact my HQ and get a conference in, this is going to take everything we have, Johnson out." Greg exited the secure line, switched out of battle mod, kicked on the afterburners heading back towards the scavenger HQ on earth. He had one thing he wanted to do before the meeting, and it involved certain special girl he didnt' get to finish his date with.
25. John exploded from the room of ice he created, only to find out he wished he would have stayed. It seemed Luthian had transformed himself into a giant dragon, and Eon the same. Their piercing eyes screamed death to both heros. John realized at that moment he was unafraid. There, in what very soon could be his and Victoria's grave he wasn't scared. John took his eyes off the dragons, showing them the same thing and stood beside Victoria. The two heros stood valiantly back to back, and that's when John heard the one thing he needed to hear above all else. "Victoria, let's do this. For Tetra, and the rest of the world." Suddenly victoria spoke, but it wasn't her voice that came out. It was Tetra's! "Oh shut up John, do this for you and Victoria." John risked attacked and turned to see Victoria, a sliglt glow emitted off her. "She's with us John." It was Victoria's voice again. John looked back, just in time to see the dragons begin slowly circling the two. John and Victoria, weapons drawn stood back to back, circling in the same way. Never taking their eyes off their enemies. As if one person, both heros sprang at the same time. John ran full-bore towards Luthian, the behemoth rear'd his head back. As it thrust forward, it opened its mouth and a lethal jet of flame shot out of its mouth. John planted his halberd into the ground, pole vaulting himself over the flame and towards its head, praying his history lesson on dragons was right. You see in his mythology class, dragons were supposedly able to breath fire by a methane gas buildup. Therefore they couldn't stop breathing fire until the gas they sotred was used up. Bingo, John was right. Luthian's eyes were huge as John's foot contacted the head. The creature's head snaped back violently, a small victory but you had to start somewhere. John landed on his feet standing strong, suddenly Luthians head snapped forward at a speed that seemed unreal for the giant. John managed to dodge to the side, again it came, and again never seeming to tire. The next time it came, John anticiapted spun, and brought the axe end of his halberd straight onto Luthian's neck. Only to have it bounce off, damn those scales were tough. With a roar, Luthian blasted forward another jet of flame. Unable to evade John blasted a stream of ice, deadlocking the two. As the flames began to lighten up, John took a look at Luthian. The top may have been covered in scales, but what about the underside? John smiled when he thought back to mythology class, hopefully they'd be right again.
