2. "Anything, you say?" The womens voice was most interested in 'Anything'. She stood up, her movements graceful and fluid. She was elven, standing only 5'5, and she wore briallant blue robes which dragged across the ground as she moved. Her blue black hair was long and pulled back into inticate braids, and her dark eyes seemed to look into the soul of all she looked upon. She smiled warmly as she approached the young elven girl standing before her shivering, tears running down her cheeks. Tears formed in the older womens eyes, and she removed her over cloak placing it over the small girl. "Of course you may stay here, I understand your situation." Her voice was kind and gentle. "Really... you're going to let me stay?" The girls eyes brightened. A tall man entered in and knelt bowing his head. His voice was silky as he spoke. "My goddess... he is here." He glanced up to see the girl, his violet eyes focusing on her. When he stood at his full height the young girl could see that he was much taller than any elf she had ever seen, standing at almost 7 feet. Hie wore blue robes with silver chain mail, and his long silvery hair was tied back. "Very well, I will speak with him, take Luna upstairs and make sure she gets anything she needs." She smiled down at Luna as she spoke. "Wait." Luna replied quickly as the woman began to walk away. "Yes?" She turned to face Luna. "How did you know my name?" Luna asked quietly. "I know much more than that dear child." She replied kindly. "Now go with Aranel I'll see you a little later." She walked away and exited through a pair of double doors. Aranel offered his hand to Luna, she slowly reached up and took it. His hand was soft to touch, and warm. He led her up a set of marble stairs and down a hall with tall statues. Each statue was of an elf that was tied and wrapped in cloth, their eyes covered with a small piece of fabric. They entered through a dark wooden door and he allowed Luna to enter first. The room was carpeted with thick luscious blue rugs, a round table in the center of the room, and a large bed agains the wall. A fire burned in the massive fireplace, and a tall wardrobe stood with its doors wide open, the clothes inside all looked to be Luna's size. "There are clothes for you there, and food on the table. Lanin will be up to see you soon." He replied smoothly as he stepped outside.
3. "Your from Tokyo, aren't you?" Hana asked going through her bag. Sasuke looked startled for pnly a moment before he answered. "Yes, how do you know now that." "Becasue I'm from there as well, I just spend a lot of time down here." She repled happily. "Why, if you can pass off as human, why do you come here?" Miroku stepped forward. "A dying man's wish brought me here." She answered looking down at her feet. "My grandfather was a half-cat demon, and lived here many years ago. One day he accidently fell into the well, he then found himself tokyo, when he came from the well there was a girl. This girl being very openminded found his cat like features adorable instead of frightening. So he stayed, and so on snd so on, until I was born. I grew hearing stories of this place and when I was old enough he brought me, I fell in love with it imediately. But anyway back to the point of why I'm here now, my grand fathers dying wish was to help maintain the peace, and to help the one who fought to save all... you guys." She stopped a moment, tilting her head in the direction of the forest behind her. "What is it?" Kagome asked noticing InuYasha had noticed it as well. "A Demon, in the forest coming this way." Hana replied quietly. "Now we'll see..." InuYasha stated smuggly. "See what?" Kagome spoke. "We'll see if this girl is worth anything." Suddenly out of the forest came yet another centipede demon, only this one was much larger than the first. Hana smiled and clentched her fists, longs steel blades appeared when she closed her hands. "I haven't played yet today!" She shouted turning the demons direction. She leapt high into the air and met with the deoms head. "Silent Stirke!" She cried out as she brought the pair of steel claws down upon the demon, and before anyone, except for InuYasha, could tell what happen the demon lay dead. Hana sat atop the demons now dead body, wiping the blades clean. "Well then InuYasha, may I stay?"
4. Xia heaved a sigh as she follwed the party, her heart just wasn't into adventuring today. She attempted to start convertsation with the other party members but the big guy kept giving her glances that replied "Shut up". She looked around at her surroundings, dull and stoney just like every dungeon. She brushed her fingers along the stone wall, a game just like it should be, not cool like yesterday. Her thoughts began to wonder as she walked along behind the others. Contact me sometime, I'd like to do that again. Thats what he said, she looked down at her hand. He had helped her bandage it the day before. I sent a message to him before we left, I hope he gets it. She thought to herslef still ignoring those around her. :BATTLE START: "XIA! Pay attention!" Kia shouted.
5. Hana stood at a fairly average hieght, with long blue black hair that was pulled back in a braid, strands of loose bangs hung in front of her amber coloered eyes. She smiled a warmly and a set of small fangs could be seen, nothing compared to Tao's long fangs. She wore a very short kimono the color of crimson, a pair of lace up sandals and a set of black fingerless gloves. She could see thought crossing the young mans face. "Well its a pleasure to meet you Haruno Sasuke." She replied smoothly, as she began to approach the boy. She stopped only inches infront of his face, then brushed her bangs away from her eyes. Sasuke could see that her eyes were not normal human eyes, but cat like eyes. "Cat, is that what you smell? As Miroku stated I do have cat-demon blood running through my veins. But you young Sasuke, you have dog-demon blood... don't you?" She took a step back and surveyed the group of people. "So what brings you all here, on this oh so lovely day?"
6. The wind whipped around the young girl as she walked alone down the dark mountain path. She gripped her cloak tightly, bringing it closer to her shivering body. Her blond hair hung down in her face hidding her pale blue eyes which darted in every direction. She jumped at every sound, and quietly spoke to herself hoping to leave her fear behind. Her small voice spoke in an elven tounge, singing a quiet tune. She turned her eyes up toward the sky as the cold snow began to fall. She jumped, a sound in the trees near by. "Hello..." Her shaking voice was filled with fear. She squinted her eyes in the direction of the trees, she could se no one. She slowly moved on, continuing to sing to herself. She strained her ears to listen for anything that ight threaten her. The trees once again gave her a startle, this time it sounded as though a voice was calling to her. She felt her skin crawl as the voice grew louder, she continued to walk only faster. "Kalana..." the voice was a ghostly whisper, hollow and empty. A chill ran down her spine as the voice called again. "Kalana..." She stopped suddenly as 5 robed figures appeared around her, surrounding her. The one standing before her spoke in the same hollow voice. "Come now, why do you fear us... we will not harm you." The figure replied softly. The girl shook her head as she looked down at the snow covered ground, she refused to look the figure in the eyes. His eyes that burned a crimson red locked on the small girl. "You, can't take me... not alive at least. Not as long as you serve him." Her child like voice was filled with determination, but fear hid just beyond. "He, requires your presence young one." An empty laughter filed the air. The four accompanying figures closed in on the small girl. "You will not take me." Her voice cried out to anyone who would listen. The leading shadow leapt forward reaching out to the eleven child. ******************************************************************** Hey there, this is where you all come in if you choose to enter here. I figure it was a decent place to start, because after all everyone has to travel. Have fun, and good luck. :animeblus
7. 1. What I believe makes an Otaku is, if it makes you happy, then it makes you Otaku. I don't believe that you have to own or collect the anime, but if watching it, talking about it, or thinking of it makes you very happy, or even giggle then yes I believe you are an Otaku. I also don't believe that you have to know everything there is to know about the animes you watch, after all how much is it to have a conversation with someone who knows all. 2.I believe in discriminating animes that you don't watch, for example I have a serious problem with Blood the last Vampire, and Berserk. No offense to those who do enjoy them. I just don't like alot of the stuff in them. 3. I LOVE POKEMON, does that answer the question? 4.You don't need to know japanese to love there cartoons. 5. If you like Teen Titans, or whatever, then watch it. My sister LOVES teen titans but I don't shun her for it. 6. If you don't want SEX in your anime, thats okay, or if you don't like people being blown apart and their guts going everywhere, then thats okay to. 7. I know tons of Female Otaku, who only watch action animes... its not uncommon. 8. I don't care if your 8 or if your 80 if you want to be Otaku thengo for it! :animeknow
8. :animesmil I can take it all... forever. Angst usually has the really good depression stories which, as sad as they are, I LOVE! :animestun Everyone needs a laugh, I am a walking comedy anyway (same when it comes to cuteness!) :catgirl: Then the cuteness animes is when I get my intense girliness out, I can't keep it boxed in or it bothers me, so I watch the cute animes. LIke the title says... Bring it... because I can definatley handle it. :animeswea
9. The most dissapointing anime I ever watched was lucily just a movie. Blood: The last Vampire, I had heard fabulous reviews on it and my friends raved about for ever, and then I watched it, man was it a let down. The sad part was it was it had such potential, it made me wanna cry how cool that movie could have been. :animesigh
10. "Wow, it looks like I missed all the fun." Leon stated smiling smuggly. Xia's eyes widened. "Fun... you that we had fun? There was nothing fun about that situation, I really felt the damage I took." Xia was not happy with Leons opinion of the previous day. She held up her hand so that Leon could see the scar. He took her hand and inspected it closely. "That can't be, what is this some kind of joke?" Leons voice was filled with disbelief. "Yes its a 'World' wide joke, let me tell ya, we all emailed eachother and decided to make it a joke!" Xia was raising her voice by now, and passerbys were looking at them. "Well what do you expect me to think, that you really bled in the world and that you felt pain? I can't believe that Xia, I mean really if you were gone for a month and I told you this would you believe me?" Leon was trying to make his point, but Xia just looked at him. He tell that he'd hurt her by the look on her face. "I was hoping that you'd believe me no matter what I said, considering we have been friends for 5 years now." Xia turned away and took a few steps. "I'll see you later." And with that reply she walked off.
11. This thread will be starting monday night/ tuesday mroning, so if anyone else wants to join, you best hurr y. :)
12. Hana had been in the feudal era all week and still no sign of suspicious activity. She walked along a lonely path that came to a crossroads, she paused a moment and sniffed in all directions, but her hearing caught somthing more interesting. She could hear the voices of a small group of people. One of the voices she deffinately recognized. She ran quickly in the direction of the voices and quickly found herself standing at the edge of a village. She could see the owner the recognized voice, it was InuYasha and his gang of demon slayers, with them was a Demon she recognized as Tao, and an unfamiliar human boy. She squinted her eyes and sniffed, then realized the human was only half human, his other half was dog-demoin, just like InuYasha. She watched as the demon named Tao walked away, then she slowly made her own appraoch making it obvious so that no one would suspect her as an enemy. "Now what?!" InuYasha shouted looking over at Hana as she closed in. "Hey wait a minute I know you." "I'm Hana, you met me a few years ago, I'm flatterd you remember." Hana replied smiling, she too had fangs only a whole lot smaller than Tao's. " You've got some demon blood as well." Miroku replied stepping forward. "And buy looking at your eyes I would say 'cat demon', am I right?" "Precisely, and you're Miroku the monk, I've heard of you. I have also heard of Sango the demon slayer, Shippo the fox demon, and Kagome the human girl that helped InuYasha defeat the great Naraku. I must say I'm very pleased to meet you all, I've heard so much about you all." She replied giving a slight bow to the small group. "I donot however... know you." This was directed at the 1/2 human standing in the middle looking quite confused.
13. Xia turned and saw the warm smile of her dear friend Leon, but she did not have time to reply to his question. She watched over Leon's shoulder as Kia's blood spilled over onto the road, and Kia pass out. She was about to run over to Kia when she saw Lord Bulmung standing over her. She watched as he gave her a healing potion and picked her small fragile body up into his arms, he then left the main street. "Hey what was that all about, you were smiling then all of asudden as white as a ghost." Leon was confused. He was a tall muscualr Heavy Blade with jet black hair and brilliant blue eyes. He wore a tight black shirt and dark brown pants with black boots. "It's nothing I just thought I saw some one." Xia replied covering up the fear in her voice. "So where, have you been this last month, have you read the boards yet?" "I was gone on a really long buisness trip. I'm sorry I didn't email you about it. Anyway what on earth happened here yesterday? Did you make through the day?" His bright blue eyes lit up as he spoke. Xia listened and then filled him in on the recent events. "Orange Shadow? Who is that?" Leons wondered out loud, his eyebrow rising. "He's one of the players that I met yesterday... remember?" Xia replied matter-of-factly.
14. Xia removed the headset and placed on the computer desk in front of her, heaving a deep sigh of relief. She looked at her clock, 11:30 pm. She rubbed her eyes and stood up, picking up her glass from that afternoon. A tinge of pain shot through her hand and she dropped her glass, it hit the ground shattering. Panic filled her mind, 'That can't possibly be from... no thats rediculous.' She thought this as she walked to the kitchen looking down at her hand that still ached slightly, then retrieving the broom and dustpan headed back to the computer room. "My hands just tired from plying all day thats all, it couldn't be anything else." She replied to herself quietly. She cleaned up the mess, the whole time thinking about the days events in the world. The cool wall, the muscle pain, the blood, and his touch, what did it all mean? After she had cleaned up the glass and changed for bed she glanced at the clock again, 11:53. "I've got an 8:00 class tommorow, I'm gonna regret this." She stated turning off the light and crawling into bed. The night went by slowly as dreams of the previous day filled her mind, but the image that stood out most was the boy she was with all day... Orange Shadow. Why did he stay with her, she found herself thinking the next morning whilst sitting in her history class. The day couldn't pass fast enough, she had to get back to 'The World'. The moment her last class was out she went home as quickly as possible. She didn't even check her phone for messages, she went straight into her computer room and looged on. LOGIN: Xialynn PASSWORD: ******* WELCOME TO THE WORLD. Xia was relieved to find that Mac Anu was back to normal. Everyone around her was walking about their daily buisness, most of them were talking about yesterdays events. Xia glanced down at her hand, the bandage was gone, but where the bandage once was a scar shown. A chill ran down her spine. She looked up at the people around her trying to ignore her hand, moments later she spotted Kia. 'This is my chance, I can apologize. ' She though walking toward Kia, who didn't even seem to notice her. "Hey Kia." Xia replied cheerfuly approaching Kia. Kia glanced up to see the Xia, the girl from the day before. "Hi." She remarked flatly, her face not changing at all. "I just wanted to apologize for what I said yesterday, you know about you being tired in a game. I didn't understand at the moment what was going on, and I didn't mean to insult you. I'm sorry." Her voice was quiet. "Ok." Kia's tone remained flat and unfeelinged. Xia found the moment awkward and smiled. "Right well I'll see you later, bye." She replied giving a slight bow and walking toward a magic shop. She jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder and a voice behind her. "Hey there Xia, hows it goin?"

16. sorry i pushed the button again.
17. Orange Shadow sifted through his inventory and found two healing potions. "Crap, thats all I have left." He whispered to himself. He looked up at the battle ging on without him and the unconscious Xia lying next to him. He could see blood from the wound she had recieved from the shogun, he reached down and gave one of the healing potions to her. It took a moment brfore Xia's golden eyes opened and she slowly sat up. "I'm not dead?" Her voice was shakey. "Nope, not this---" Shadows was cut off when Xia wrapped her arms around him. "I'm so glad... I was so afraid that---" Xia let go quickly and turned away. Shadow was blushing a deep shade of red, but luckily Xia couldn't due to her back was turned. "I'm sorry about that, I was just really happy." She replied. "Come on its no big deal... beside the others need our help. Lets go."
18. Xia watched in terror as the Giant Shogun turned to face the two of them. Fear struck her hard as she realized what Shadow had said. Run! You can save yourself, what did he mean by that. She thought to herself. I can't leave him here, even if he wants me to. I just can't see another player flash grey, I can't stand to see another one go. She grasped her staff in her hand tightly as she took her place beside Shadow. "What are you doing, I told you to run!" Shadow replied quickly. "You really think I am going to abandon you, after what has been happening? I'm staying here even if we die, we die fighting or running!" Xia shouted both fear and determination filled her voice. They each jumped in opposite directions dodging the attack from the Shogun. Xia leapt back to gain casting space and Shadow rolled to teh side then dove in for an attack to no avail. The two of them fought only to find a window of opportunity to run away, but each found it harder and harder to dodge as their muscles began to weaken. Shadows attacks were only tiring him out and Xia's spells were practically useless and using up energy. Xia was hit by the Shogun, but only just, and she hit the ground hard. She cried out, this pain was a real pain and it frightened her. "XIA!" Shadows voice was covered in concern as he watched Xia hit the stone ground with a cry. Shadow Leapt forward toward the Shoguns head, bringing his weapon down on its head. His speed was amazing and it gave a chance of survival, but why would Xia stay, why would she risk her life to stay behind when she could run. Xia opened her eyes, she had closed them on impact with the floor, but now she looked over at the Shogun and Shadow. Shadow was running in circles around it but he had been hit once she could see. Xia stood and held herself up with her new staff, she was lucky that the attack she had taken was only a minimal blow, or else she would be dead. She watched as the Shogun managed to trip Shadow, and prepared to bring his weapon down upon the fallen player. She wasn't quite sure how she did it, but with her all her remaining strength Xia ran forward, not quite sure what she was doing. Shadow felt the impending doom as he watched the weapon fall before he could stand, but then before he understood what was happening he heard the clang of weapond clashing. He looked up to find Xia standing over him her new staff held high over her head. He could see the muscles in her arms strain as she held the Shogun at bay, he could see a faint glow coming from the staff. She shouted out a spell he had only heard once before, one that he didn't ever hear from other players, her voice echoed through the halls. Then he felt her gentle hands helping him up and holding him by the arm. "Lets get out of here!" She would of shouted this reply, but she was way to weak to do more than whisper. The two of them ran as fast as 'their' feet could carry them. They could here the sound of the Shogun behnd them, he was recovering from whatever Xia had done, and he didn't sound pleased. They continued to run as their legs burned with pain, and their hearts beating at exsesive rates. Xia looked ahead of her into the light that lead out of the dungeon, there ahead she could see Loki, Grim, and Kia. A look of relief crossed her face as her muscles refused to support her anymore, and she fell to the stone floor. Shadow fell to his knees but managed to stay conscious. He grinned down at Xia then up at the approaching players. "I'm glad you guys could make it." he replied weakly. Xia lay next to him unconscious, her staff still glowing faintly.
19. Xia walked down the dark tunnels with Shadow next to her. She was smiling at the idea of her new items, and looked down at the bandage on her hand. The bleeding had stopped awhile ago but she left the bandage on anyway. "So what do you outside of the world?" Xia's voice was quiet, she didn't like silence so she was quick to spark the conversation. "Huh? Outside of the world? Well not much really, I just have a normal life like everyone else my age. I go to school, chill with my friends. How about yourself, you hang out with your friends alot." Shadow asked glancing down at her. The look on Xia's face turned to embaressment as she looked aorund at the stone walls. "I'm sorry, did I say something?" Shadow apologized. "No you didn't do anything wrong. It's just... well... all my friends are in the world. I've never even seen my closest friend, but that doesn't matter he hasn't logged on inmost a month." Xia was silent for a moment then changed the subject. " So ' rare hunter' huh... I like that." Xia replied, she was aout to speak but Shadow stopped her. "Do you here that?" His voice was almost a whisper. They both strained there ears to listen. After a few moments they could hear a set of familar voices coming down the hall toward them. "That must be Kia and the others!" Xia replied happily running ahead to greet them. Shadow lingered for a moment behind and whispered to himself.
20. Aother battle finished up and Orange Shadow healed himself with a potion, he then turned to Xia her back was turned to him and she did not speak nor move. Shadow moved around to the front of her where he could see her wide golden eyes staring down at her hand, a deep gash ran across the top of it, red blood spilling from the wound. Shadow could see it in Xia's eyes, she was scared. "That looks bad, you should stop it, here take this." He replied sifting through his gear and handing her a potion. She did not react to him, she just continued to stare. Then quietl she replied. "This shouldn't be happening, I shouldn't bleed in 'The World'." There was a tinge of fear in her voice. "Look just take this and bandage the wound, we'll figure it out." Shadow replied softly. Xia took the potion and drank it, she felt better but the woud remained. She then tore a peice of her skirt off and tried to tie it around her hand. Orange shadow could see that she was having trouble trying to tie it one handed, so he offered to help as he took the bandage from her.
21. Xia didn't even bother to think of why Shadow would possibly be blushing, all she cared about is that it wasn't normal. Nothing that was going on was normal. "Right well, shall we move on I'm sure therer are more monsters here some where." Xia replied as she began deeper into the dungeons. Moments later she spoke over her shoulder to Shadow. "You know, I didn't mean to insult Kia, becasue I hadn't realized at the time, what was going on. I hope she doesn't hate me, I would hate to have just met some one and then have them hate me right off." Xia's voice was soft as they continued throught the dark stone halls. "There up ahead, do you see them?" Shadow had spotted two fairy bombers. He readied his weapon and charged forward into the battle. His sword glistened in the dim light as he lunged at his newest enemy. He grinned as he swept his blade through the first and bashed the next with the hilt of his weapon, then reversing the attack into a thrust as he plunged the weapon deep into the body of the first fairy bomber. Xia stood back and watched as the young fighter fought with great agility, it didn't seem as though he even thought as he acted he merely knew exactly what he was doing whether he knew it or not. Orange Shadow was about to cut down the next opponent when he turned asnd stopped just in time to watch it die from one of Xia's spells. Her voice still echoed off the walls of the dungeon, her eyes were shut as she stood silently in the same stance she had just cast in. Then she opened them slowly and smiled. "Well this is going quite well, don't you think? I sure hope Kia isn't board outside waiting for us.Hey I just realized that I haven't seen Loki since we entered the dungeons, do you suppose he's lost, or just knows what hes doing?" She replied looking down at her staff and shinning a grungy spot with her sleeve.
22. :Battle Mode Start: "Tree gblins, we can take em!" Shadow called out to Xia who was closely behind him. Orange Shadow easily dispatched of the two closest goblins whilst Xia cast at the third in back striking him down. "I am so glad I have my spells back." Xia replied relief filling her voice. She leaned up against the cold stone wall for a moment. "What's up? You tired?" Shadow asked feeling tired himself but not saying anything about it. "Yes, as a matter of fact, and you now what the weirdest part is? Feel this wall." Xia replied touching her hand to the wall. Orange Shadow followed suit and touched his hand to the stone wall. "It's cool, how is that we can actually feel it? This is way to weird." He tuned to Xia for a moment to ask her a question but she was lost in that world of thought again. Xia quietly stood starring at the wall as she kept her hand against it. As nice as the coolness felt, it still sent chills down her spine, she knew that she wasn't suposed to be able to feel it. Out of the corner of her golden eyes she could see Orange Shadow glancing at her. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to ignore you, were you going to say something." She asked kindly smiling. "Oh I forgot what I was going to ask, its no big deal." He was lying of course he knew exactly what he was going to say, he had just decided against saying it.
23. Xia walked along with other players as questions ran through her mind. What was goin on in Mac Anu? Why couldn't she cast during any of that, and how did they get here? She though silently as she walked. "Your mind looks busy, something on your mind Xia?" Shadow replied breaking the silence around them. "Well yeah, look at what we've just been through. What was going on back there, I don't about you guys but when I logged on this afternoon, I was not intending on being massacered by monsters in Mac Anu. Also why couldn't cast back there, I tried and nothing happened except for me almost getting my head smashed in." She was obviously quite irritated by the recent events. She brushed her dark green bangs away from her eyes as she looked up into the dark rainy sky heaving a deep sigh. "I just want to know whats going on, thats all." She stated quietly, almost to herself. "I must say though, considering the odds, you guys did great. Those were some awsome blades skills back there, very impressive. I'm glad I'm on your guys's side."
24. Xia could see the other femalr character changing her direction toward them and the gaurdian, just then she leapt out of the way of a massive swing from the Guardian. Then the only idea that seemed like it might work struck her, it would be risky and it might get them all killed, but so would stading around or even running away. "All the blades focus on the top half of the body I'll take the knees." She shouted this not knowing if the other players would follow suit or not. She then dove in a tight roll toward the Mu Guardian and swung her staff as hard as she could, hitting her target successfully. Then as quickly as she had dove in she leapt out of the way of another attack. Speed was definately the players weapon now, becasue their level certainly wasn't.
25. Lanin paced the back and forth infront of her throne, her hear was beating quickly and breathing had quickened.
