1. My first console was the Sega Megadrive. I was around 4 years old at the time and I asked my dad's work friends if I could borrow it after they brought it to the party. After a few months of giving it back, my aunty gave me hers and I was obsessed with it ever since. The first game I ever played was Sonic the Hedgehog I think. It's weird. I don't think I ever played the original Nintendo console, just the Super Nintendo console when I was about 6 at a creche. I think I still have about forty Sega Megadrive games, two controllers and the joystick/pad controller.
2. After the stress of politics reached it's peak, it became evident that El Presidente was also suffering from disgruntled neck and hand seizures.
3. I'm not going to give you the typical cliches of 'I'll do my best' and that, as I do not feel those phrases truely represent the expression of desire to undergo a responsibility such as this. However I am very interested in a position such as this. Having acquired an interest in Art (Drawn in a fanatical response to a series or game, etc.), I feel that being chosen for this responsibility would only be a benefit, regardless of the drawbacks of the job. Becoming a fan art moderator would be a huge achievement, and it would allow me to truely appreciate responsiblity and enhance my skills. I've been a member of theOtaku.com and the Otaku Boards society for three years now, and I feel that over the time I've spent here, I've been able to pick up many perspectives off of people around here, and would surely like to do my bit. My compulsory education has finished now, and now that I have free time, this would be fantastic if I could settle into something new. By the time College starts, I would have finished the probationary period and be able to be completely committed. Of course it's down to you to judge, but I can only say that I am very interested. I feel that I am mature enough to understand different aspects of a Fan Art Moderator's life, and I'm sure this position could lead to many new things. I would never abuse the 'powers' a Moderator has, but I must say, the ability to 'freeze' myOtaku accounts would be an asset to my superhero-ability collection, ^_~. A majority of the active members here I have at least spoken to a few times and even formed friendships with. So I trust that you would also ask for a second opinion of whether or not I would be able to cope with the job. Well, you know what you're looking for, and if I am not what you are looking for, that is completely understandable. Good tidings.
4. Flik awoke with a large yawn that sounded similar to a, 'Aghaw'. This usually worked in his parents favor as it gave them a warning that he would be awakening any moment. With a large stretch of his arms, Flik moisturised his dry lips with his tongue and took a large breath of the fresh air that supplied Grillin Village in the mornings. Still laying down with the quilt tucked just about his neckline, Flik turned his head to survey his surroundings. He was in his room. A small, yet cosy little area with some paper sliding doors that acted as an entrance and exit to the room. In the corner was Flik's desk supporting numerous books splayed messily open, and of course his thin, blue bandanna. On the wall in Flik's range of sight was a beautiful, black sheath with silver embroidery on it, and to his right was his window, the blinds open. It wasn't much, but it was his, and that was what counted. After throwing over the sheets that gave him warmth, Flik, dressed in only a white shirt and polkadot boxers, sat on the edge of his bed and enjoyed the warm sun beams across his back. He then stood up, stretched once more, and bent over to pick up his black trousers. After putting them on, he ran over to his bandanna and strapped it around his head. He was now prepared for the day ahead of him. And so, without bothering to open the sliding doors, Flik jumped through the paper and slid down the square, rotary banister down to the kitchen. He was met by his father who sat at the table reading a few bills mournfully. His father was a very burly man with a gigantic black moustache and eyebrows to match. He was dressed in a white T-Shirt, brown working trousers, and a murky green apron that was stained with many oils and paints from his job as a carpenter. "Morning father, 'tis I! Flik Threepwood, of the Threepwood family name! How would you be doing on this fine morning!?" Flik shouted as he sat down at the table with fork in one hand and a knife in the other. "Would you stop bloody shouting every morning you get up!? And why are you talking like that? You'd think you were part of royalty." Flik's father shouted back in his disciplinary, manly tone. "Aha! Father has taken his red peppers once again!" No one knew quite what Flik meant about these 'red peppers', but they just put up with it, as they did with everything Flik did. His father just stared back, eyebrows trembling every now and again as he looked down to the bills and lowered his tone, "You at work today?" "Yup." Flik replied with a joyful tone and then took a sip from his orange juice. He enjoyed his job at the Inn. It didn't pay very well, nor was it the most active of jobs, but he still liked it. "Where's mum?" "That's more like it. Just talk like that will ya'?" "Nope." Flik replied once more and sliced a bit of bread from the loaf sitting in front of him, waiting for the answer to his question. "Your mother's out. Probably shopping." Flik nodded and pushed his chair out noisily as he stood up. He then walked over to his boots at the bottom of the stairs and slid his feet into them. Pulling up the backs to make sure they weren't trodden down, and tieing the laces, Flik was ready. "Well father, I bid you farewell. I am now going to venture into the lively streets of Grillin Village where I shall--" Flik spoke until he was interrupted. "Just go will ya'!?" His father interrupted and threw the rest of the loaf at him. Upon catching it, he ran to the door, slammed it behind him, and began to head towards the Inn.
5. Name: Flik Threepwood Age: 20 Class: "Hero" Description: This is Flik Threepwood when he is 'kitted up'. However, when at work he just wears a white T-Shirt, his black trousers, his work apron, boots and blue bandanna. Mr. Threepwood stands at 5' 11". *Copy and Paste the URL if image doesn't work* Bio: Flik was born and bred in Grillin Village whilst his parents moved in just before he was born. However, their settlement did not last long due to the Thirstquencher Empire's invasion. Upon fleeing into the Forest, Flik became more accustomed with nature rather than spending countless hours playing with his toys in his bedroom. Once again, Mr. Threepwood was on the move again as the villagers were allowed back into the Village. Having grown up with his father's tales of legends, warriors and heroes, Flik's imagination and desire to explore began to expand every day. After much pleading with his parents to be trained in some form of combat, Flik's father, being a carpenter, crafted and gave Flik a Boken (Wooden Sword) on his thirteenth birthday. Along with his gift, he was allowed access to the minature library in his little home that contained books of many forms of combat. The villagers began to notice just how charismatic Flik was beginning to turn out, so charismatic that he caused a lot of trouble. After one incident which involved him spilling everything on the floor in the restaurant, Flik has been labelled a 'mischievous and devilish being'. At the age of seventeen (which was the age that his parents expected him to move out), Flik was confronted by his family bearing a rather large sum of money for him to buy himself his own place. However, dependent on people caring for him due to his clumsiness and lack of economical skill, Flik answered his parents with a rather hearty laugh, and a smash of his bedroom window as he jumped out of it, this being the second time that week. But, Flik did agree with his parents that he would find a job and pay his own keep. Now at the age of 20, Flik Threepwood has become a rather attractive man it seems, yet he stays away from the 'ladies' as he refers to them, due to how they are going to hinder his 'hero trials'. Mr. Threepwood works at the Inn as an assistant of the Inn Keeper, a clerk in some way. Yet, even though he is now a working man, he is still thought upon as brash... Starting Point: Grillin Village Primary Spell/Weapon: Steel Longsword Secondary Weapon: Throwing Star Items: 2X Mint, First Aid and Loaf of Bread Spell: Look Over There!: Flik opens up his palm containing three blue crystal shards that slowly blow over to his enemies distracting them. This spell doesn't induce any status affects or damage, however it does buy him some time when in trouble.
6. The 'Little Mage in FF9' is named Vivi, and with all of the Black Mages in the FF series, traditionally, they have a dark head with just long yellow eyes showing. Also, the 'Little, Cut, Stuffed Saving Bears' aren't stuffed at all, they're natives named 'Moogles' in the Final Fantasy Universe. Anyway, to make sure this post doesn't get deleted, my favourite character is Zell Dincht. I just always found him to be a rather cool guy in the sense of his Limit Break (Duel), his hair and charisma. He's just a fun guy and a complete counter to the melodramatic main characters such as Cloud Strife and Squall. Don't get me wrong, every character is cool in their own way, just Zell stood out to me. (I must agree Manic, Cid is a bit of a beast. ^_~)
7. OOC: This is where it starts to get good folks. As K.K.C hasn't posted, he/she is not in the RPG. Domon, I do not think you're going to be able to catch up with your own RPG and this one, so I'd like to have a chat with you. JJRiddler seems to have stopped posting, so I guess we can sort of forget about Zoras. Ohkami has yet to post again, therefore I will allow Shinmaru to just kill her off. Inti should also forget the quest and actually head towards Lake Hylia (If they're still with us) I apologise for being cruel, but decisions must be made. The Kokiri should now be getting attacked now by the way. ^_^ Enjoy. -------------------------- Teepo looked down at the grassy mound he was standing on and shook his head. Teepo: Listen, I did not agree to this job in order to be bossed around. You also seem to underestimate me. Let's just get this over and done with. Teepo led on towards the village gate that led into the depths of the forest. The air was beginning to cool at a considerable rate, and the canopy-like trees overhead rustled with the strong gales. Upon arrival at the wooden gateway, Teepo turned around and broke the awkward silence that had fell upon the two Deku. Teepo: I apologise for my rudeness earlier, it's just... I don't like the way today is turning out. Kasai: Not at all. I see what you mean, have we ever had wind pick up this fas? Teepo tried to trace back through all of his memories, but there was no event in his mind that involved a huge gale. Teepo: No I don't think so. Anyway, let's get going. And stay close, I don't want to lose another-- The hat-wearing Deku stopped talking and allowed a small tear to fall out of his right eye. Kasai on the other hand, being unaware of why Teepo had suddenly became down, peered under the head of the Deku and placed his hand on Teepo's shoulder. Kasai: Hey? You okay? Teepo shook out of his trance and turned to face the depths of the forest. Teepo: It's nothing. The Deku duo headed under the gate and into the mazes of the woodland. Everything was silent except for the rustling of the leaves and brances as they snapped off from their hinges and fell to the dirty ground. With every step the two Deku took, it appeared as if the forest was darkening. Teepo looked back to the gate which now looked like a minature hole in the distance. Torches appeared to be being lit, just as if it was night time. But this was not possible, or so Teepo thought, for it had only been morning a couple of hours ago. Kasai looked up and staggered back in confusion, trying to make sense of it all. Kasai: Wha...? What is going on? Teepo: I fear we are not the only ones oblivious of what is going on. Come on, let's get this over and done with. Kasai: But we are surely to just lose our way in this darkness! Teepo looked down once more, he couldn't even see his feet upon the ground now. It was as if the whole world was darkening, becoming tainted, or even worse, meeting it's end. However, his pondering was soon interrupted when he heard a large, grumbly shout coming from the distance. Teepo: What was that!? Kasai: Look! Kasai pointed ahead between what looked like two tree trunks with a shrub in between. Small flames, flickering on wooden torches could be seen marching to the left, as if they were heading past the village. Once of the flames suddenly fell, followed by a grumbly, vicious voice to scold it. ???: Idiot! Want to give away our position? I bet there are archers all around these woods that could kill us in one wave. ???: But sir, we're at least one hundred and fifty strong. What seemed like a rather powerful punch could be heard after a smaller, huskier voice spoke in reply. ???: Fool! You dare to speak up amongst your commander!? Order the march towards the Lost Woods. We'll reinforce the front line there. By my watch it appears the attack has just been launched. Enough dawdling! March on! A vicious war cry sounded and the flames gave off a large flicker this time, revealing a monster clad in armour and armed with a spear. Teepo and Kasai: A Moblin!? Teepo listened to the metallic footsteps clang against the ground as the torches carried on their march just past the Deku village. Teepo: Something's not right. Kasai: Let's go. With adrenalin pulsing through the Deku's veins, they reached the village in a matter of minutes, only to stand mesmerised at the sight they saw. In front of them were literally hundreds of Dekus, all armed for combat and standing in file as if they were in formation. Standing on a pedestal was what seemed to be the two mages that wanted the herb, the chieftain, and about ten other seemingly important officials. The speech being made from the officials halted at the sight of the two out of breath Deku. Erie: Here are our last two warriors! Teepo: What is going on!? Ryu: Ah yes. Well, you know we sent you out for that herb? We put a spell on you to see what you saw. Our visions were true, the Day of Darkness is upon us. Chieftain: In summary, you heard them speak of the Lost Woods correct? For ages we have had an alliance with the Kokiri and the Skull Children, and now is not the time to break it. They are in dire need of our help, in combat right now in fact. We, the Deku race, are there to banish all evil from this world once and for all! Every single Deku roared and cheered at the sound of this. For such a short calling, morale was certainly high. Suddenly, including the two mages and the Chief, all of the officials called out, and in a flurry, each Deku warrior ran silently into the woodland. Using the forest to their advantage, the Deku were to head off under the cover of the woods, until they could surround the battle and take part in it. And so the Deku armies did so. Deku just graduated from the academy, Deku heroes, Deku veterans, every potential combat artisan was ready for war. Teepo and Kasai looked at eachother. Teepo: Look at these families. I'd expect half of them aren't going to see their father, brother or husband again. Kasai: Well that's what we're here for! Teepo smiled and nodded. Checking his equipment and weapon, he scurried to the nearest trunk and hurriedly climbed it. Kasai seemed to follow the men to the left flank and both headed towards the Lost Woods. This one's for you Lunar. ---------------- This is going to be good.
8. The Chieftain's house wasn't much different architecture-wise compared to the average Deku's house. However, it stood out between the two murky green guard huts that sat on either side of it. Over the windows hung what seemed to be rugs of different shades of greens, reds and golds. Torches, clasped to the cylindrical walls, blew their flames adding light to the dim forest interior. As Teepo approached the building, he noticed a Chieftain bodyguard leaning against the rug that covered the entrance. The guardsman held a dried Deku Baba that had obviously been cut from it's stem and seemed to be armed with it as a weapon. He also appeared to have developed a huge sack on it's head, possibly to induce fear into his foes. Wearily walking towards the relaxing guardsman, Teepo stood a few feet away from the guard and spoke. Teepo: I was called upon by the Chief. There was no reply, but instead the guard just walked to the side and pulled the rug, revealing a dark entrance way. Teepo walked in without making eye contact with the guard and upon entering, he became aware of the rich scents of burning incense. The one roomed house was dark, save for a glowing blue light that formed a ring in the centre of the floor. After taking a few steps forward, Teepo was blown aback as an explosion erupted from the light. Chief: Hello, Teepo Yggdrasil. The Chief needed no introduction as his old voice could be recognised even by a stranger. Staying on the ground and feeling his heart's beat increase, Teepo gulped and noticed the room brightening as three candles were lit. The Chief sat on a tree trunk between two individuals, each looking exactly like the Chief, except for their different coloured beards. The three Deku had their legs crossed with leaves coating their bodies and beards covering their faces. The beings also held a staff embedded with a jewel that matched the colour of their beards. The Chief in the centre had a dark green beard that revealed a pair of eyes and a mouth as he spoke. Chief: Don't fear Teepo. Instead, let me introduce two of my greatest friends. Teepo eyed each of the Deku before him that stared blankly towards his direction. Chief: The blue bearded fellow to my left is named Ryu and the red bearded fellow to my right is named Erie. Now let me begin. A pink puff of smoke appeared, resembling a map of the forest. Chief: As you know, we have been recording your marvelous talents through the Academy. Therefore, we have a quest for you. Teepo sat up keenly at the thought of an adventure. Teepo: A quest!? Please. Tell me what it is my Chief. Chief: Ho ho. I told Erie and Ryu of your excitement at the thought of such things. Anyway. You may have heard of quite the talented Deku in our village, his name is Kasai Mokuzai. 'Kasai?' Teepo thought hard but could not place a face to the name. Finally he was interrupted as he forgot that the Chieftain was capable of hearing thoughts. Chief: Yes Kasai! What are you? A parrot!? The Chief was also capable of losing his temper. Erie: Enough. This Deku has been out on a little quest himself, he appears to be finishing up and on his way home. The red bearded shaman halted his speech and allowed Ryu to continue. Ryu: Erie and myself are from the depths of the forest to the East. We came here in the hope that we could recieve the special herb, Jusakin.. It's capable of many healing powers and gossip tells us it is quite common around here. However, as you can see, we do not have the ability to venture into those forests unescorted. So we want you to... Teepo had already picked up on what they wanted him to do. Teepo: Meet with this other Deku and obtain the herb to return to you. Chieftain: Exactly! Just wait for him outside and explain everything to him, then get on with the quest. Try to be back before late. And with that, Teepo nodded his head in obediance and turned his back to walk outside. Upon exiting the Chieftain's house, Teepo found a little tree stump and sat on it to wait for this Kasai Mokuzai.
9. What is with Leon and shooting through closed and open doors in these games? lol I don't know why, but this game seems to give the series a much 'darker' taint, in the sense that the others did have a mixture of bright and dark colour, while the screenshots shown of this one, seem to be a lot darker. To be honest, I don't know what to expect. I've been a 'closet fan' of the series, of which I don't exactly go out and talk passionately about the games, but I do enjoy them. The increase in A.I is making the game seem much more appealing, and not only this, but thsoe stupid cutscenes when openeing doors are gone, so the game will seem much more 'fluent'. Just awaiting more news now I guess.
10. OOC: Sorry for the out of character post but I just wanted to say a well done everyone. However, I must make one thing clear. Now that the Light World has darkened, there is not much sun left, so just bear in mind that these are dark times in Hyrule. Everything is going well it seems though. ^_^ Let's keep at it.
11. OOC: You know if you're in or not by referring to the list, congratulations. And stay committed! You know what to be doing in your first posts as I have hinted towards it. Don't leave for Lake Hylia until I give the signal. The Legend of Zelda: Prophecy of Fate All was well in the forests of the Deku. The darkened sun was nearly at it's peak, as it shone down it's dimmed rays upon the woodland tops and a few beams penetrated the natural canopies here and there, allowing some form of light into the closed woodland. Ever since the first day of the disastrous changes that took place in the land of Hyrule, the forests began to settle into the new climates and hostilities. Standing tall and disciplined, the woodland did not let these sudden changes hinder their duty, to protect and hide it's inhabitants. The fire flies that lived inside the plants and bushes floated around, eminating their lights occasionally. Fire flies were treated with great respect by the Deku as they were thought to be descendants of the race of the fairies. Every year, an annual event would be held in which the fire flies would be lured from their homes and into the Deku villages to be celebrated. However, it was nowhere near the time of this event yet. The air inside the forest was cold as usual. Before the changes it was a lot warmer, however this was another thing the woodland and inhabitants would have to grow accustomed to. Everything was the same, and that's how Teepo liked it. Holding onto five little logs that had been cut to contribute to the construction of the tribes, Teepo walked along the soft grass alongside his house and placed them down into a box with hinged doors. There, Teepo thought. If a young Deku had spare time, it would benefit the family name to help those who were in need, and this was what Teepo was doing. Adjusting his large green hat that most Deku found strange, Teepo turned around and ran back to the location he had obtained the logs from. After arriving at the location, Teepo examined the building in front of him. It was a normal Deku-hut. It's roof resembled a very shallow cone, which was painted red and the wooden structure stood upon a raised wooden platform. The door was completely round, a circle a few inches from the base which was about twice Teepo's size in circumference and was also painted red. Some moss had started to grow on the moulding walls, but it merged with the natural colours and seemed deliberate. Walking up the creaking steps, Teepo neared the door and pushed it open. There was no need to knock, as the owner of the hut was always happy to see beings like himself. Teepo: Hello? There was no answer. As the door shut, Teepo stood in the round, silent hut. It had a very simple interior. A hammock with a small pillow resting on it, a small counter with many wooden shavings on it and a fireplace in the center. Teepo walked forward and then realised it was a complete mistake to do so. ???: Yargh! A mysterious voice roared and Teepo was met with a hit to the head, knocking his hat clean off. Rubbing the spot where the blunt object had hit him, Teepo looked up to see another Deku standing over him with, hands on his hips and laughing his head off. ???: Well, whad'ya know? Little Teepo still hasn't learnt the 'sixth sense'. Teepo: And what would this sixth sense be? ???: Har Har. To see danger before it sees you! Heh heh heh. The being in front of him was around the same height as Teepo, but wider and seemed to have a beard that consisted of dried leaves. The being's eyes were much more beadier and he also wore a red construction hat crafted out of a large Deku nut. It was Bokoton, the Deku's construction manager. Offering a hand which Teepo took, the being laughed and patted the young Deku on the head. However, Teepo was grasping his crushed palm. Bokoton was infamous because of his immense, yet clumsy strength. Bokoton: So, it seems you got the job done, eh? Good lad. I'll tell the Chief as soon as possible. Teepo: Okay then. Any more work I need to do? The stout Deku stopped walking around in circles and tapped his head with a finger in thought. Bokoton: Let's see. You repaired my gate, you placed my letters in the Post Office and you added to our material stock... Nope! So I guess I better be brewin' up some of my famous stew. Bokoton thought his 'stew' was famous for it's 'delicious taste', but in fact it was famous for removing Moblins' blood quicker than any substance known to Deku. Backing away to the door, Teepo tried to think of a way to get out of this situation without being rude as much as possible. Teepo: Don't worry, I'm not that, erm, hungry. Bokoton: Well ya' missing out! Bah. Alright then, I'll head over to the Chief's House in a few minutes. Oh, that reminds me! Har Har. This ole' brain's tickin' it's last minutes I tell ya'! One of the village guards told me that the Chief needs to speak to you. Must be pretty important to be summoned by the Chief himself. So head on over there right away! Teepo: Oh? Alright I'll go there now. See you Bokoton. Bokoton: Bye now, ya hear? Self-consciously cheering himself, Teepo pulled open the door and ran down the steps to meet with the Chief. It was very rare to be actually called upon by the Chief. Only Emissaries were need very often in order to keep communications with other races, however, no one ventured outside the woods ever since the world became darker. Running off towards the Chieftain's house, Teepo accidentally caught his foot on the just-repaired, small gate and ripped it from it's hinges only to hear Bokoton roar in frustration... --------------- OOC: There we go. Just do what you should be doing, heh. If you have any questions just IM me or PM me. Let's have fun.
12. Wow. Inti, that was excellent! I really can picture your character well. Because I can't decide who is better, all three of us Deku are through. All we need now is one or two more Gorons. (Hopefully, Warlock will sign-up as one.) I've changed my mind. I will leave the sign-ups open for Warlock but too much waiting has gone on. The RPG now begins. Here's the list of people who are through: - The Cast: Zidargh Shinmaru Ohkami Piromunkie Desbreko JJRiddler Domon K.K.C Shanghai inti Congratulations everyone. I will now write the beginning post.
13. Im sorry Son of Dragon but you're sign-up has been rejected. Compared to everyone else's sign-up, this one has had no effort put into it. I apologise, but I've seen what these people can do. And they're pretty damn good.
14. Excellent Shanghai, you definitely have followed my Deku sign-up well. Now all we need to do is recieve Warlock's sign-up and the RPG will begin. ^_^
15. Oh dear, he comes a big heated debate on laws in different countries. I'm going to leave this topic with a short post. Last year a farmer's house was broken into, and as luck would have it, the farmer was in the house. He walked down stairs, armed with a hunting rifle (or shot gun, memory doesn't serve) and shot the thief as he tried to run. The farmer faced the threat of jail for doing so, and the thief sued. It's the way people are.
16.
I LOVED that game. Actually I still do... There was alot of toilet humor but you should also recognize the fact that the game that make fun of many movies. One example is in the war chapter. It makes fun of the movie "Saving Private Ryan". And it does the same to many other movies as well.
Conker's Bad Fur Day didn't really 'make fun' of the movies, but 'spoofed' off of them. The game did itself justice, in my personal opinion. I found the humor to be highly amusing at the time, even if it was 'toilet humor'. I think it was because there weren't actually any games out, quite like that at the time. I only borrowed the game off of a friend (For a very long time), but I found a lot of the scenarios and levels to be very enjoyable. My favourite would probably have to be either the Matrix-spoof scenario or the Saving Private Ryan scenario. The Teddies against the Squirrels... excellent stuff. Not only this, but I fell in love with Rodent, heh. The multiplayer element of Conker's Bad Fur Day is probably the only multiplayer element I had spent countless hours on. Nothing like going straight into combat. A large amount of my friends enjoyed the game too. I saw a trailer a few months ago that showed Conker's Bad Fur Day 2 (Cannot remember the name) for the Xbox. The war section appeared to be set around the Gulf War or something, either way, I'm going to follow it up.
17. Ah excellent. Thankyou Domon. Well, I'm just awaiting Warlock's sign-up and then we'll start. Thanks for being so patient guys.
18. Right, well done with your Goron sign-up, it was very good. I'm fearing we're not going to get everyone we need. I just need some publicity for this RPG. Hmm, we'll have to see. Here is my sign-up By the way I'm getting rid of Gerudo's from this RPG. Just so the list will be smaller. : - ----------------------- Name: Teepo Yggdrasill Age: About 266 ages. (This is the equivalent of a 19 year old Hylian as the Deku age 14 ages within the span of one Hylian year). Gender: Male Race: Deku Class: Knight Background: Born into the Yggrasill tribe of the Deku (Located in the Hylian woodland, next to all of the other tribes), Teepo was bound to make a name for himself. Carrying around the name of the Yggdrasill was a very hard but meaningful task, as the males of the Yggdrasill family were known for their skill in diplomacy and warfare. At the age of four Hylian years old, his father placed Teepo into the combat and teaching academy of all of the Deku tribes. All of the Deku, whether they be female or male have to be placed into either the combat or teaching sections of the academy at Teepo?s age. After being tested in which part Teepo excelled in, the elders made the decision of putting him into combat, and he certainly did excel. After about five years, the elders, due to the fast rate of which he progressed, noticed Teepo?s progression throughout the course. They began to monitor his skills and compare them to his ancestors. What made him out of the ordinary is that Teepo had already passed the tests his ancestors did in five years, rather than twelve. Being born into the Yggdrasill name means to receive a lot of disciplinary training, and so Teepo grew into a very loyal and disciplined being. However, there was something that could still penetrate the boundaries that were made, and this was Teepo?s curiosity of nature. Whether it be the wildlife or the surroundings, nature just fascinated the young Deku. Between sessions and classes, Teepo would be seen playing with the animals that inhabited the woodland, or simply sitting around staring at the trees. His father, even though he had to be very hard at times, cared a lot for Teepo and would tell him stories of the outside world and what lurked within the woods. This only increased Teepo?s curiosity. At the age of 13 years old, on one silent night, Teepo stayed awake until the moon was at it?s highest, and then opened the Yggdrasill family home?s front door to sneak outside. Slowly closing the door, Teepo looked around to see the odd light in the window of one of the tribe?s homes. With what appeared to be a clear coast, Teepo ran outside the gate and headed off into the outside woodland. Before he could step outside of the tribes? influences on the woodland, Teepo was approached by another Deku of the same age. Her name was Lunar, and was Teepo?s closest friend. She was always fond of Teepo, whether it be because of his appearance or personality, and so she generally followed Teepo everywhere. After being asked where he was off to, Teepo answered, placing his trust into Lunar that she would not say a word to anyone else, and then stepped into the surrounding woodland. Everything was very different to the tribe?s villages. Everything was so primitive. The trees were huge, and it was a lot darker inside the woodland. But regardless, Teepo continued, mesmerised by the sights. After a few hours had passed, Teepo began to grow tired from all the exploring and then sat on a little log that matched his size. Closing his eyes, Teepo relaxed. Just as he was about to doze off, a sudden sound of rustling could be heard. Immediately he sat up in fright, looking around to see the source of the sound. Nothing could be seen, nothing except for the looming, dark silhouette of a figure just ahead of him. The figure began to approach, but as it got nearer, a stray moon-beam that protruded the canopy-like trees overhead illuminated the figure. It turned out to just be Lunar. Angered but glad for her safety, Teepo asked what she was doing in this place and found out that she was worried about him. Lunar then sat down next to the Deku boy and after calming down, they both began to converse about life and whatever else young teenagers did. However, it would not be long before the harmony would be disturbed. Just as they were about to head back home, a Lizalfos jumped down from the canopy and lunged at Lunar. In pure reaction, Teepo stepped in the way to intercept the monster and protect the Lizalfos. Upon impact, Teepo was knocked over and looked over to see the now very angry Lizalfos approaching him. The monster looked similar to a Salamander, but it stood at about six foot tall, wearing torn rags and wielded a long bladed weapon. As it raised the weapon to attack the young Deku, a rock hit it on the head. A good shot from Lunar, but a fatal mistake. Wincing from the pain, the Lizalfos turned to see the girl picking up another rock to throw at it. It then charged straight towards her, weapon forwards to attack the girl this time. After receiving another on the side of the head from another rock, the monster charged on and finally pushed it?s blade straight into the girls torso. Screaming in rage at the sight of his closest friend being killed, Teepo stood up and charged at the Lizalfos. Suddenly, he froze as the beast stood to its full height, towering over the boy. It was now the time to run, and he did so. Running as fast as he could, Teepo passed tree after tree but there was nowhere to hide, and what with the monster catching up with him, he needed to act fast. Teepo continued running until a he noticed a strange, leaf-green hat hanging from the branch. Just as he passed under it, he jumped and grabbed for the hat with success. The Lizalfos noticed the Deku, but two steps too late. The monster had ran straight off of what seemed a cliff-side and fell to its death. Letting go, Teepo landed onto the ground and caught the hat that saved his life. He then placed it on and ran as fast he could, back home whilst crying his heart out at the same time. Six years after the traumatic experience, telling the family of his friend and the tribes of what he did, Teepo has now grown into a very deep person, swearing his loyalty to the tribes and that he would protect everyone no matter what. There is only one thing that Teepo wishes, and that is to turn back time and never let Lunar follow him. What Teepo doesn?t know is that on this fateful day, he will hear the instruments of calling and charge to the Kokiri?s and Skull Kid?s aid alongside his fellow Deku warriors. Appearance: I am aware this is Deku Link from Majora?s Mask but it is fitting. Teepo stands at about 4?8? tall which is quite tall for a Deku, and does not wear those gauntlets. He does however wear a torn, green tunic with the sleeves cut off. Primary Weapon: Teepo wields one medium length sword that was imported from Hyrule Castle. The blade is of a very thin steel and can cut many materials with ease. Secondary Weapon: Being a Deku, Teepo has the ability to fire Deku Nuts from his mouth at the power of a bullet. However, the Deku Nuts are limited for Teepo as he is a male knight and only females can keep reproducing Deku Nuts. Items: A bag of 20 Deku Nuts that attach to a leather strap across Teepo?s shoulder (Teepo needs to place a Deku Nut inside his mouth to be fired) and an empty bottle. Spells: Hover: Underneath Teepo?s hat is a little flower that can expand once the hat is removed and the spell is cast. This spell rotates the stem and the petals at a fast rate, lifting Teepo off of the ground. This spell lasts about five minutes if Teepo is at full health and stamina. ------------------ I will allow 2 more days until this RPG begins so if you want to join, hurry up. I must say, there's not been any problems with anyone's sign-ups so far. I just want two more people, one to join the Gorons and the other, the Zora. If you want to join me with the Deku, that's cool too.
19. I'm not going to give out images and links because that'll take up too much of my time. Just search on Google or some other search engine, it's very simple. Anyway, on what you want to know. If Final Fantasy XII turns out to be a huge success (Which many of us are anticipating, even Semjaza Azazel, so it has to be good), then I can assure you that Square Enix will continue the series. Their profits have not been very good lately, ever since they went through that economic loss because of The Spirits Within. It all depends on the sales. I mean, if FFVII didn't become a huge hit, we probably wouldn't be this far with the series anyway. It all depends on the sales in answer to your question. I've said it alot of times, businesses only want to make money, they're not just making games for the fans unless they get alot of money.
20. I'm sorry Balinese I cannot accept your sign-up. You obviously haven't been following the thread. I specifically stated that no one knows about Lake Hylia's importance yet, and therefore do not feel the need to go there. You don't seem to understand the RPG. And why the bloody hell would you have a Deku Slingshot? You didn't even talk about how you found it, and considering the term 'Deku' refers to woodland, while a Hookshot is made out of metal, it doesn't make sense. With the quality of member's skills planning to/have already signed up, I can tell this is going to turn into something big. I don't mean to sound insulting but I just get annoyed when things are not read. Thankyou anyway. Well done everyone else so far. Oh by the way, Desbreko pointed out something. There are alot of Rogues all of a sudden, I will only allow one or two more rogue characters to sign-up as I feel there needs to be different character classes. A few sages would be nice and if you're daring and willing to experiment, as would some alchemists and merchants. My character is going to be a Knight. Bear in mind you can always change your classes if you want to and more classes will become available and the RPG progresses. If people just want to be Knights, Rogues or Sages, that'll be alright I guess.
21. Right, thankyou all for the sign-ups so far. Ohkami, you need to change a bit of your sign-up. Nobody has the need to go to Lake Hylia yet and no one knows that they need to retreat to it yet. When the RPG starts, I will hint towards when everyone should be beginning to retreat, so if you could just edit that out, that would be great. ^_^ Anyway, I have had my sign-up deleted somehow, twice so I am exhausted and will post it tomorrow after re-writing it. Anyway, I've made a list of the sign-up spots available. After all of these spots are filled, the best two out of the three will be selected to go through to my evaluation phase where I will research their posts to see if they are capable for this RPG. Remember, this doesn't mean you're in yet, this is just to show how many more spots for specific races are available. For the Gorons, there will be four spots and the best three will be selected. Hylian: 1. Shinmaru's Sign-up 2. Ohkami's Sign-up 3. [Closed. Ohkami and Shin are through. Well done.] Kokiri: 1. [Closed: Des and Piro are through. Well done.] 2. Piromunkie's Sign-up 3. Desbreko's Sign-up Zora: 1. JJRiddler's Sign-up 2. Domon's Sign-up 3. [Closed, JJ and Domon are through] Deku: 1. My sign-up 2. Shanghai's Sign-up 3. inti's Sign-up. [Closed, us three are through.] Goron: 1. K.K.C's Sign-up 2. [Empty!] 3. [Empty!] 4. [Empty!] ---------- If you want me to reserve a spot, tell me and I will for 2 days before the spot will be freed again. I need these spots filled before the RPG can start. And remember, only sign-up if you're interested, will definitely be committed, and want to have fun. ^_^ Tell me if you know of anyone who is signing-up so I can get a heads up. Thankyou all.

N-Gage QD

To be quite frank, I just don't agree with this new generation of 'telephone gamers'. Considering I don't really follow the newest fashion trends for phones (I still only have a Nokia 3410), I pose no real interest in the N-Gage systems. Sure, I must say, I have been impressed with Fifa on the N-Gage, the controls were very smooth and it is great fun to play, especially on your own on a train or car-journey. But, regardless of this fact, I do not see the N-Gage's appeal. The N-Gage QD's rejuvenated design definitely looks 'funky' but it's height makes it seem as if it would be difficult to handle in those emergencies. Perhaps the rubber on the outside is there for not only comfort on the palms and ears, but for also grip. When I had to pick up my friend's N-Gage for him quickly, I took it and just as I was about to press the 'recieve call' button, it slipped straight from my hands. I mean the phone's just a thin bloody brick, lol. I'd have to agree in terms of conversing via the N-Gage, it was a very cumbersome design to be speaking on the side of the phone, making it seem as if your ear had extened 7 inches. However, the design of the N-Gage QD makes speech seems stupid in my opinion. For one, the design is pretty much symmetrical in measurements on each side. And two, the buttons are very subtle in appearance, meaning I'd probably get mixed up with which side, every time I answer the phone. The port on the back of the phone is definitely a bonus though. I noticed the installation issues with games on the original N-Gage, and it just seemed pointless. The game cartridges are treated almost as SIM Cards on that phone. In conclusion to end my little rant on gaming-phones: - After looking over the front-view of the phone, the buttons seem very out-of place in the sense that they are scattered everywhere upon the phone cover. I mean, just keep the original menu, dial and recieve/end call buttons for crying out loud. It would be easier to just go into the menu to access the little features that the odd buttons direct you too. Who knows? Knowing me I'll probably end up cherishing the phone if I got it as a gift, but I'm just like that. I just prefer the 'tiny-phones' to the larger ones.
23. Thankyou both for your sign-ups. This is a message to all readers. Please don't hesitate to sign-up for a race even if two or three people have signed-up for a race already. If you're sign-up is of a higher quality than other attempts, you will win a place in this RPG. ^_^ I will not say who is in the RPG until the deadline for sign-ups arrives. Thankyou once again.
24. The Legend of Zelda: Prophecy of Fate "Hey, you! Yes you. Come in, settle down. Hmm, what can these old eyes see? Oh! A young face. Young but... troubled. What's that? You want to know about the world we live in? Ha. Yes it's certainly changed, but even a man of my age can still get by as long as he has the ambition to do what he wants. You're young so you wouldn't know why the world changed all of a sudden. Here now, I'll explain..." "Three years ago, the land of Hyrule lived through an age of prosperity. All of the inhabitants coexisted with each other and the monsters outside, stayed outside. However, there was something brewing that was going to make a disastrous strike to the peaceful Hyrule." "An evil man, dressed completely in black, set out on a journey from the land of the Gerudo. Yes it is strange, but this man was the only male in the Gerudo tribe. Anyway, his destination was Hyrule Castle to attend a meeting with the King himself. Why was he evil you ask? Well, he only had one goal, to eliminate the King and find the magical item that contained all the power necessary to either benefit the land, or destroy it. This item was known as the Triforce. It was only inevitable that this man would sucessfully achieve his goal." "But all was not lost. You may have heard of the Kokiri, a child-like race that lived within their own walls and were forbidden to breach them. Well, there was one boy who stood out amongst the other Kokiri. He had no fairy. Well not until a much later age than the other Kokiri. This boy was called upon by the Great Deku Tree himself. After fatefully obtaining a sword and shield, the boy was allowed to meet the Great Deku Tree. The boy's name was Link. This was a huge event as no one was summoned by the Great Deku Tree until now, the people went to it of their own accord. However, there was a darker side to this meeting." "The Deku Tree informed Link of this evil man's presence and that the man had already left his trail inside the Deku Tree to search for one of the three Tri-jewels. This trail was a curse, of which the Deku Tree would die from. With the task set upon him, Link ventured into the Deku Tree and after a day passed, he emerged successful with the Green Tri-jewel in his arms. However, the Great Deku Tree passed away only moments after Link's return." "From then on, Link had the task to search for the other Tri-jewels. After meeting many people, including the young Princess Zelda, Link obtained the other two Tri-jewels and set off to the temple of time of which they should be placed. By doing so, Link found this opened up a gateway to a mystical, glowing sword, otherwise known as the Master Sword. By pulling out the sword, the land of Hyrule suddenly froze in time. Nothing is known about what Link did during our world's 'time freeze', but it is said the boy did battle with the evil man. However, we can only assume that Link was defeated and then killed." "It is said that we once lived in the pure Light World. But due to the evil man's success in obtaining the Triforce, he unleashed the fury upon it and therefore began to turn it into the Dark World. We are very lucky for that young boy's existence on our world. Due to the boy's pure heart having gained the three Tri-jewels first, darkness could not shroud the power completely. Coincidentally, three weeks ago could've been the Light World's demise." "I heard that the evil man is known as Ganondorf so I shall refer to him as that. From sources it is said that Ganondorf began to make the final incantation to rid us all, we are otherwise known as The Pure. However, the Triforce that was granting him his desires suddenly divided into three triangles that then soared upwards, towards the heavens." "Furious, Ganondorf called upon his highest-ranking scientists and made them investigate what made the Triforce disappear. After a week's searching and investigating, the Scientists came back with nothing to report. Angered even more, Ganondorf killed the scientists and opened up a portal that that would allow him to leave our tainted world and return to the Dark World. You see child, we are living in a tainted world that exists parallel to the Dark World, and if they become equal in purity, it will be disastrous." "Due to this open portal, monsters can now come and go between the Tainted World and the Dark World, therefore they will go on a rampage in each known location, slaughtering each race. Now don't cry child, it is only fate. But fate can be avoided if necessary. I have a strange feeling that we only know a quarter of what exists in this world. Soon, we will have to sail over the huge, unexplored region of Lake Hylia. But how each race gets to the Lake where our ships will be waiting, is down to them." "I had a dream last night that told me of the Warriors of the Pure. I can only hope that the prophet of the dream was true in stating that they exist. These warriors are the key to our survival child! Now, before you go home, let me tell you of how I believe each race will find the need to flee to Lake Hylia." The Hylians: Yes my child! That is indeed a Sheikah, but Hylians and Sheikah share many similar features in appearance. However, remember Sheikah are a very mysterious and warrior-like race. Think of Princess Zelda, she is a Hylian, so follow the guidelines of her appearance. And yes that's right, the Great Hero, Link was a Hylian. Anyway, that is besides the point! As you know Hylians have fled into all of our races' villages and towns but I will discuss the issue pursuing the still pure-hearted Hylian Guard of Hyrule Castle. As you know, Ganondorf brainwashed a majority of the inhabitants of Hyrule and thus they have morphed into darker skinned beings or even very intelligent monsters. Yet there were some that stood loyal under the King's name and stayed where they were in the Castle Town of Hyrule. But, due to Ganondorf's immense power, a large amount of monsters have invaded Castle Town, including many monsters named Undead and ReDead. In reaction to this, the petrified townspeople and brave guads fled to the Guards District of Hyrule Town, of which they then built a large barricade, halting the monsters chase. At the moment, the Guards are doing their best to defend the Guards District from the monsters, but with supplies and bushels of food decreasing in number, how will the Guards last? In my dream it showed the survivors of the battle fleeing to Lake Hylia with two Guards leading them, could they have been given a message? The Kokiri: But without the Deku Tree, how are the Kokiri meant to last? At the moment the Kokiri are taking refuge in the maze-like Lost Woods where they are hoping that the monsters, that have taken over Kokiri Forest will not find them. With the help of the 'Skull Kids' (mysterious children who are believed to be lost Kokiri), the Kokiri are living sadly and silently within the boundaries of the woodland. However, it is inevitable that they will also have to retreat. In my dream it showed a platoon of monsters reinforcing the the monster's territory. They then suddenly lifted great torches of fire and began hurling them at the woodland. Soon the woodland began to fall under the might of the flames, revealing the Kokiri's shelter. However, the Skull Kids stood forth and charged out to slow down the monster's pursuit of the retreating Kokiri. In my dream it also showed the Skull Children summoning the vengeful Deku Tribe with their instruments to aid them in battle. By using nature to their advantage, the Skull Kids begin battle with the monsters, but will the Kokiri be able to flee across the vast plains of Hyrule to rendesvous with the other Pure at Lake Hylia? The Gorons: I'm afraid not child, no matter how immense the strength of the Goron tribe is, if they do not flee, they will all fall at the defeat of Ganondorf's armies. Haven't you noticed Death Mountain lately? It is beginning to tremble my child, meaning that it will erupt, hence destroying it's surroundings. The Gorons can tolerate much higher temperatures than we can, but not the fury of the volcano. In my dream it showed me three Gorons, all from different locations of the mountains inside the Dodongo Caverns. They were searching for the reason of what was causing Death Mountain's violent behaviour. This quest was handed down by the Chief Goron himself, and even without the monsters in their way, the Gorons were having a very hard time coping with what they found out. I noticed two witches that seemed to be from the Dark World approaching the three Gorons, and then they suddenly attacked them. All of a sudden, the dream cut out. Will the Gorons emerge victorious from the battle with the Witches and if so, will they have time to lead the other Gorons to Lake Hylia? The Zora: Ah yes, the majestic race of the Zora will soon find a dark stain to their race's tribe. This time, I do not need my dreams to predict what will happen to this race. It is only obvious that Ganondorf has already manipulated the Zora King by tempting him with false promises. I just hope that the Pure of the Zora realise before it is too late. Fate is leaving the pure Zora only two choices. These are to either to be assassinated by the Dark Zora, or to be forced into exile. However, all is not lost for this tribe. Lake Hylia connects directly to the Zora Kingdom's underwater channel so access should be simple. Time is of the essence here. Who will oppose the now evil King of the Zora? The Deku: Ho ho! Fear not child! The Deku race are not our enemies, but only defenders of their territory. What has made me dream of them you ask? Well word has it that Ganondorf's armies have successfully ravaged a majority of Hyrule's forests, cutting down the trees and burning them. As luck would have it, with their wisdom, the Deku tribe's sages and prophets were aware of this before hand, but knew it was inevitable. Incredibly angered by this attack on their tribe, the Deku only had the pure races of Hyrule to depend on, and therefore they answered the calls of the Skull Children. The tribe sent their warriors towards the Lost Woods of which they would rendesvous with the Skull Children and battle the monsters. My dream showed me the Skull Children and Deku carrying out battle with the monsters, of which they successfully pushed the monsters back into the Dark World. However, seven dark horseman, bearing huge weapons appeared and led an army towards the Pure Defenders. Alas, they were superior and began to slaughter the defenders. However my dream suddenly changed to show two Deku warriors leading the few Skull and Deku survivors to Hyrule Field, to then meet with the Deku tribe elders. Will the dream become reality and will the Deku and Skull survivors make it to Lake Hylia? Well there we have it child, that is my prophecy. What do you mean you want to know how I know all this!? You idiot. I'm a damn sage with the power to foresee things! Whew! I need my calming concoction again. You get on home now and stay indoors. As for me, I will send the message out to the Warriors of Pure and then await the survivors here. Get the village craftsmen to start building the boats. I will create a council. Oh yes, and say hello to your mother for me. Summary and what I want Well first of all, thankyou very much for bearing with the story and taking some interest in the RPG. Anyway, I'll tell you what you will be doing if you sign-up. You play as the Warriors of Pure. What I've written are only hints to start off the story from the perspective of each race. For example, if you're a Hylian, the story will begin in the perspective of you fighting and living by the barricade. Eventually, (As the story progresses) you will flee to Lake Hylia due to reasons I have written down already. Or another example is if you're a Goron, you will be one of the three Gorons, setting off for the Dodongo Caverns to begin your quest of which you will eventually battle the two Witches and emerge from the caverns to inform the chief of what you have found out. As the RPG starts, I will summarise what each participant should be doing, just to make things easier and less confusing. I must warn you, I highly recommend that you have had at least some experience with 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time' or 'The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask' to let you be familiar with the races. Experience with the other games is a bare minimum of what I recommend before signing up for this RPG, otherwise you won't have a clue really. As I'm thinking of Hyrule in the form of how Ocarina of Time presents it, it would help if you've played that game. Also, don't sign-up if you're not going to be able to show any commitment. I will be doing some research of your post quality and commitment levels so it is not definite you will get in, even if you write a darn good sign-up and have had experience with Ocarina of Time. I want two to three people per race. I will update my list of who is accepted so this should make it easier to determine what slots are available. Other than that, you should be good to go, ^_~. I want this RPG to live on and turn into something of a large scale as remember, there's going to be a huge world awaiting us if we survive the journey across Lake Hylia. Anyway, I'll stop the blabbering and get on with what you need to have in your sign-up form. However, read the below to help you make a worthy sign-up. ---------------------------------------- Character Classes: Knights - If you choose to be a Knight, you?ll get a primary weapon. These weapons usually fit into the melee weapon category, consisting of strong-bladed weapons (Like swords and axes) and strong-blunt weapons (Like clubs and the sort). You will also have access to a smaller secondary weapon (such as a bow and arrow, though that can be your primary weapon if you're an archer, a dagger etc). A Knight also has access to a weak spell if he gives up one item slot, such as a weak elemental spell like a single fireball, etc. Sages - If you choose to play as a Sage, you?ll get a powerful spell instead of a primary weapon. You?ll still get a secondary weapon (but you will probably have less experience in hand-to-hand combat), and then you can also have two secondary spells, in addition to three secondary items. (If you want to bless a weapon with an element, for example, a fire or ice arrow, you will need to have a bow and arrow as your secondary weapon). Merchants - If you choose to be a Merchant you will have a primary weapon but you will be less experienced with one than a Knight as you cannot use a shield simultaneously with a sword. You will also have the advantage of a large surplus of items consisting of five item slots in the beginning. If you find any itmes along the way, you will not have to discard any items if you have filled all of your item slots but you can just simply add to your supplies. You have a maximum of 8 item slots for storage space in the beginning of the RPG. Alchemists - If you choose to be an Alchemist you will have a powerful item (limited of course) like a cluster bomb for example. Instead of a secondary weapon you will have the ability to mix two items together to create an enhanced item as the resultant. You will also have more storage space at a maximum of five item slots in the beginning of the RPG. Rogues - If you choose to be a Rogue you will be able to have two Secondary Weapons as your Primary Weapon (Like two daggers that can be used simultaneously). You will only have three item slots for storage space but you will have access to two support spells that are not offensive or rejuvenating (like the spell Jump, enabling you to jump twice as high temporarily, or Speed Up, increasing your agility.) Bear in Mind: That through the progress of the RPG, there will be more classes available to you, and as more become available, you will be given chances to change your class if you wish. ------------------------------------------------------------ Learning Spells and finding itmes: Later in the game, I will notify everyone that there weill be a few spells to find in that specific location as we move from point to point. This not only adds more depth to your character, it also motivates everyone to post. This also applies to Items. But remember, storage can limit your ability to pick up items or learn spells. --------------------------- To the sign-up sheet! Name: (Make it appropriate to each race and class. For example, a Deku Merchant would have a name like, Windy Goodnuts. -_- Yes I made it up in two seconds.) Age: (Now that the Kokiri Forest has been tainted with darkness, Kokiri live at the same rate as Hylians. You should know wha's appropriate for each race as you are experienced with Zelda ^_^). Gender: (Self explanatory except for the Gerudo as a male is only reproduced every 100 years, and that male was Ganondorf this time. So Gerudo participants have to play a female part.) Race: (Any from the above mentioned, but only from the above.) Class: (Choose from the class list above). Background / Biography: Appearance: (A picture, though this will be very hard to find, or a detailed description.) Primary Weapon: (Pay attention to class limitations and access) Secondary Weapon: (Pay attention to class limitations and access) Items: (Maximum of three at the start for Knights, Sages and Rogues. Maximum of five for Alchemists and Merchants.) Spells: (Pay attention to classes for this.) ---------------------------- Well that's about it folks. Get writing. I'll post my sign-up tomorrow, I'm exhausted from all this writing. Thanks again... 25. Zidargh

Hip Hop

Well before any of you bash the genre of Rap and Hip Hop, you should buy Chris Dennett's Greatest Hits. It's a great compilaton of music, he's truly gifted. Also, Zidargh's Number Ones is a must buy. *Ahem* Im here and there on the subject of Rap and Hip Hop. Some of it stands out to me whilst some of it doesn't. I've always enjoyed Tupac's stuff, aswell as NAS and Donnell Jones but other than those artists, I've had varied tastes. Lately I've been repetively listening to 'She Wants To Move' by N.E.R.D and I think it's a great song. Even though it may not be classed as Rap or Hip Hop. Eminem is another artist that I am seeing in a different light, I like how his songs have become far less depressing, with the releases of titles such as 'My Band' although that was with D12. Either way, he's changing his style. The Streets are okay. 'Don't Mug Yourself' and 'You're Fit But Don't you Know It' are quite amusing songs by them. But yes I'll have to agree, cockney accents don't fit in with the genre of this type of music. I may be a Suburbian Londoner but Im not too fond of cockney accents.
