Does he take his body or something? Senator Palpatine is always evil. He just hides it very well. He is so evil, that he can keep the Jedi Councel from knowing he's a Jedi.
Or perhaps you are all over-looking something. It IS the Clone Wars, afterall ;)
  2.
Originally posted by *GaLxY-GiRl* There's a big difference between girls that dress sexy or provocative, and those that are sluts. Last time I checked (and I do so often  ), there aren't a lot of young girls that get payed for having sex. In my opinion, any girl that still goes to middle or high school shouldn't be called a slut, period... perhaps it's just me, for taking the meaning of the word rather literally.
Just for the record, I didn't say that...Ms. BulmaVegeta did :whoops: I agree that it's not fair to lable girls "sluts"...I was actually somewhat offended by her comment. There's also another extreme of women who think it's so wrong for a woman to enjoy her sexuality that they can make females seem like prudes. That may be some of what is happening here...:shifty:
Originally posted by SuperSayian Who agrees? ^_^ (Remember, no one-sentance replies)
I agree... ... ... ...fully! Hehe :p
  3.
Originally posted by BulmaVegeta1 Oh, c'mon, you know she's right, how else would sluts get the name sluts? Girls shouldn't go around dressing in innaproapiate clothes, showing off their bodies and doing "stuff" espically if they're in the age group of going to school.
Uhh...you may think she's right because you're 13 and that's the mentality you SHOULD have at your age. I, on the other hand, am older and probably a bit more experienced in the male department (lol...does that sound snotty enough for ya? heh...I didn't mean it that way...honestly...). I ask thee womenly folk, why IS it so bad for a woman to let a man pleasure her, but not bad for a guy to GET pleasured? It's such a screwed up thought, and I'd love it if someone could explain it to me since at times I have found myself buying into that whole concept...ugh...I pray thee, enlighten me...
  4.
Originally posted by rocketboy where can I obtain that? And what does the song do?
That's part of the fun of playing the game...trying to figure problems out by yourself. If you still have problems after playing around the graveyard for a while, then come back and ask again :)
  5. Do you have the Sun's Song for your ocarina yet? If not, then I suggest you obtain that and then use it around the zombies ;)
  6. Ok, trivia...I'll start. Who is the old "Jedi" woman that Luke and Leia meet on Mimban? Good luck ;)
  7. How about we start up some more trivia around here? Our conversations seem to be wandering away from hard core Star Wars...who's up for it?

If you like Creed, you'll like POD. For a while their CD was always in my car...I couldn't go anywhere without listening to it :p So basically I think it's a great album, though Youth of the Nation is overplayed and it's not even one of their better songs :whoops:
  9.
Originally posted by James I'm referring to movie history and not "expanded universe" history. Thus, any EU stuff is irrelevant here. Events maybe, but not info...a lot of the stuff mentioned here would not be known without the EU ;) _________________ Exiting hyperspace to the sight of Coruscant's city lights was a welcome site to Dria. The planet was afire with life...and Dria wanted to get lost in it. Dria was a bit banged up from her last encounter at Naxiam, dropping out of hyperspace and into the middle of a black hole danger zone. Damira's Grace had nearly been ripped in two, and had she not done an emergency power-down, she would have been dead within seconds. The strain the power-down had put on the Grace had injured the hydro-flux conduits in both primary and secondary engines, leaving one cold and dead. So she had chanced the last three jumps to Coruscant, realizing once again that she didn't REALLY care if anything went wrong...she didn't value her life all that much. The one reason she was still alive was the fight she had to endure for her family. She had to find them...it was the only way she'd be able to ever secure her own happiness. The comm unit beeped as Dria slowed her air speed. Coruscant Air Control: Please identify yourself. Dria: This is Anahli Jem of Damira's Grace. CAC: Please hold. After what had happened on Hapes 3 years before, Dria never entered any planet under a name other than her alias. She knew the Radicals were thirsty for Dria Longstar's blood. The Grace was even entered under the pseudonym... CAC: Damira's Grace, please follow entry course C-572. Dria punched the code into her nav-computer. Dria: Thank you. She ended the transmission and hoped that this visit to Coruscant could be a productive one.
  10. Well, this is off-topic, but I started reading the book a few days ago and I must say I hate the writing. Perhaps I'm super critical because I'm a writer, but still...the writing really stinks. I like the extra stuff and the insight into the situations that happened in the movie, but that's about it...
  11.
Originally posted by Vegitto4 "No were not, we dont want sex all the time" I'm gonna grin, and say this. " You lie, your only talking about your small clique that promotes Abstinence. "
Thank you! It may seem odd that I'm standing up for sex-crazed girls while I am still a virgin, but I will also be the first to admit that I am an extremely horny person...if the right guy can get me going, then I know that it'll ultimately lead to sex. I'm not going to deny a physical feeling simply because it's looked down upon as "whorish"...it's normal to feel that way. A woman's body was made to be pleasured...should a woman feel dirty because she enjoys something normal? Pfft...you gals will understand it better when you're older...believe me ;)
  12. I recall doing this a long time ago. Winje Apdew. Sounds like Mace Windu to me :p
  13. Dria was en route to Naxiam when See-so gave a shrill warning, pulling her out of an already restless sleep. Dria: What is it? Checking to make sure her F-Star was still on auto-pilot, she examined the computer console. Alert: Obstructed planetary entry. Dria: Ugh...what's blocking our path out of hyperspace, See-so? As the boxy droid gave a low whistle, its confusion became apparent. Dria: Nothing should be in our way if we got the coordinates correct. The nav-computer wouldn't have allowed a hyperspace jump... Dria trailed off and frowned. She'd have to either risk exiting hyperspace at the predetermined coordinates, or prematurely exit at their current position. It would be suicide to exit out of hyperspace prematuely, anybody knew that. But of course, if the sensory data coming through about an obstructed planetary entryway was correct...she'd be dead that way as well. Dria brought two gloved fingers to her forehead and rubbed it out of habit...she was convinced that the action helped her to think. Dria: Bah, See-so...[the droid warbled in response]we're going to jump out of hyperspace early. See-so shrieked its disapproval, whistling and blurting what Dria made out to be mechanical insults. The droid had pitched itself into a fury of refusal. Dria: Shut up, See-so. It's our only option. [the droid calmed a bit] Thank you...[taking a deep breath] here goes nothing...
  14.
Originally posted by Mist Hmm..I'm a female and I find sluts very offensive. 1) They're unpure 2) All they look forward to in life is whoring. 3) They make us other women look bad 4) They represent the worst type of woman avalible.
Actually, at times I think it is other women who can't accept that females have more sexual power than men and then cherish that have a worse problem than the "sluts". Whoring? Is that all "sluts" do? Please
  15.
Originally posted by BulmaVegeta1 In the last 3 episodes of Star Wars, they get wiped out with one little kick or hit or some weak shot, but Jango Fett could hardly be beaten. What's up with that???
...because those weren't clones ;) There IS speculation in the later EU books that there was some use of clones by the Empire, but for the most part stormtroopers were real people, not clones.

    Yoda

I agree wholeheartedly ;) Though I would greatly appreciate it if you would visit the Star Wars 411 thread already circulating this forum and post your opinion...it has a wonderful Episode II discussion going on :)
  17. I just have quick question for James...who exactly IS the President of the New Republic now? Traditionally (or so the books say :p) it was Mon Mothma...but I sort of would like a name of the President so that I am able to use it. Thanks :) ____________________________ Dria surveyed the red blips that symbolized the approaching Radical ships. At least they were approaching from behind, which gave her plenty of time to get a head start. Dria: See-so, how far away is that squadron? See-so: [translation] Approximately 24 kilometers. Dria: Good. Speed? See-so: 1,000 kilometers per hour. Dria: Rather slow fighters they have thrown together, but at least it'll give me ample time. See-so, we're going to touch down for no more than two minutes while I gather up some of our communications equipment. After two minutes, we're taking off. The Radicals should reach us by then, but I'll be able to easily outrun them. 1,700 ground speed as compared to their 1,000... Dria broke off and smiled a bit. Her F-Star was damn fast. She'd have no trouble outrunning ?or outmanuvering, since a good pilot never relied on speed alone? the vicious new Hapin group. Dria: See-so, set a course for the nearest planet, Imperial or otherwise. I just want to enter atmosphere and then plot out a course of several hyperspace jumps to Coruscant. Once I'm there I'll be rather hard to find. See-so acknowledged her request with a beep, getting to work on constructing a worthy destination.
  18.
Originally posted by Son Goten Look at the attachment and tell me who the circled figure in the shadows looks like. It's kinda blurry, but you can still see it. If you can't tell, look at the shape of the helmet. This is a view from the back/
"He will join us...or die." That's awesome! I just saw Episode II again as well, and I saw a lot of things that I missed the first time. One thing I really noted was that when the clone army was loading onto the Republic ships (and the Imperial March is playing) that the ships look awfully similar to the Star Destroyers. Definitely the beginning of those Imperial ships. Another thing I thought I saw the first time and verified this time was that the clones have the Imperial symbol on their helmets. It can only be seen for a split second in one scene, but I'm rather sure that I saw it ;)
  19.
Originally posted by Son Goten She once took 2 points off (i would have had an 80 but she game me a 78) because when I had circled my answer of -2, the - of the -2 was just outside the circle. but all my work showed it to be -2. that got me mad.
That's nothin' :p Mr. Bright (the chemistry teacher) used to take points off for not dotting 'I's or crossing 'T's...or even for spelling words wrong. I got screwed on the spelling part V_V;
  20.
Originally posted by Chrono Magus what the hell? I say crap and it links to a gambling site automatically. pffft.....
And you also double posted, which I ask you to please not repeat :) I had a chemistry teacher my junior year who made tests impossible. Usually a 70% would be the highest grade and would set the curve. I believe I got a 17% on the final...and failed it miserably. I know not how I pulled off a B- in that class! Basically, I think that many teachers appear smart because they have been teaching one subject for many years. I think there are very few who actually are THAT smart about other subjects...though of course I could be wrong... Back to my old chemistry teacher, we all agreed that his tests were just a big conspiracy so that he could stay convinced that he was still smarter than us...:shifty:
  21. It all depends on what I am doing :) Cheerleading: Even underclassmen were welcome to tell me how to improve, I always appreciated it since I started cheering halfway through my sophomore year, and many of them had been cheering since they were freshmen. Photography: Ooh, this is a hard one. Criticism from professionals is always welcome, but I find it very painful to take it from people my age or from people who have never done photography. Regardless, I accept it and take everything into consideration. Art (drawings): Extremely welcome! I take any sort of criticism that's thrown my way about my artwork because more than likely, they're right :p Writing: I'm open to suggestions with my writing, especially if it is about the plot. But criticism...I take that in the wrong way methinks.
  22.
Originally posted by Boba Fett Why dosent Anikan realise he is being used by Palpitine?
Perhaps Palpatine isn't strong in the Force...perhaps only his 'clone' is. Hmm...that's all in theory of course...but like we've seen, anything can happen in the next episode. Another theory is that if the true Senator IS strong in the Force, somehow he may be able to supress it or hide it, therefore shadowing all of his abilities around the Jedi; a façade if you will ;) But yes ::shrug:: anything goes.
  23. Dria's F-Star lurched forward as one of the Radicals tried to ram her from behind. Dria: *****! You're going to pay for that... Her blood suddenly heated, Dria angrily swung a hard right and cut back on throttle. Misjudging the more skilled woman's manuver, the Radical in pursuit flashed past Dria, giving her a clear shot of the ugly, scrambled fighter. Dria set her cannons on ion fire, and as soon as the Radical ship was in the viewport's crosshairs, she sent crippling blue fire lancing out from her wingtips. It caught the irregular fighter in the port side engine, quickly disabling it and sending it on a downward plummet. Dria's intent was to set an example of the pilots, not to kill them. After a surprisingly quick skirmish, Dria had rid of the annoyace of being followed. The damn Hapin women were hell to deal with. She was glad she had learned extra values elsewhere...otherwise her pride would have constantly gotten in the way. If their flying skills reflected anything about their governmental skills...then ugh...Dria cringed at the thought. Dria: See-So, plot us a course back to the cavern. I want to pack up and get out of here...[sarcastically], I'm afraid that they're alerted to the fact that I'm here. Dria's droid bleeped a response and she set her path on the coordinates it gave her. Dria: I think...I've got to get back to Coruscant. I need to use the library in the old Imperial Center. A translated response rolled across the F-Star's computer screen. Dria: I'm sure most of it IS still restricted, but I can do a little bit of slicing to get the info I need. This **** has been going on far longer than it needs to. [See-So warbled and small red blips appeared on the screen], I figured. Dria smiled darkly, the Radicals had sent a whole new squadron after her. Dria: [snorting laughter], Well, at least they don't doubt my skill.
  24.
Originally posted by Son Goten You try and stop an arrogant 20 or so year old with immense power from going after girls. I nearly vomited when Padmé said, "I truely, deeply love you." to Anakin. Ugh...the only pair-up that I have EVER liked in Star Wars has been Han and Leia. Padmé and Anakin, and Luke and Mara all just gross me out...
