All of that was done in an attempt to protect the two children who were extremely strong in the Force from their father, a very powerful dark lord, and from being found and turned to the Dark Side. I'm still pissed that they messed up the whole Owen/Obi-Wan/Anakin relationship. Owen Lars is supposed to be Obi-Wan's brother, and the uncle thing is supposed to be a big cover up while Luke is growing up. Qui Xux was a part of the construction too, she was decieved by the Empire and told that the Death Star would "aid in agriculture" or something of that sort. How very, very wrong that was... One last comment: There IS actually a book that takes place between Episodes IV and V called [i]Splinter of the Mind's Eye[/i]. It has some interesting interaction between Luke and Leia...and that's basically all it is. It's a bad book, really. Basically, my hair is a dark redish-brown (I WILL admit to dying it...) and it is about three inches past my shoulders. I can't explain the style...it's just very anime-esque.
