He then punted the ooze and sent it flying. With deadly accuracy his mother simply pointed it the pudding halting it, then with a flick of her wrist sent it flying into the wastepaper basket. ?No messes in here boys, I just cleaned.? She said sternly then smiled. Noises could be heard coming from the trash bin. ?Sweetheart, please take care of that? Lisa said. Giovanni snapped his fingers the noises ceased. Gianni sat back down in his chair frowning at his lost of pudding. ?Well I better get started on dinner now? Lisa got up to exit the room and stopped suddenly looking alarmed then placid. ?Are you okay mom?? Gianni was at her side all of a sudden, Lisa hadn?t even heard him move? she wasn?t sure if it was do to his natural quickness or if he used his powers, she would have guessed the later. ?Oh I?m fine dear, She?s just been kicking more and more these days.? Lisa answered rubbing her mildly swollen tummy. ?Wait, how do you know it?s a girl?? Said Giovanni, walking towards his family, concerned. ?I just know, Love? she sent him telepathically. Giovanni smiled and kissed his wife which earned a gag from Gianni. ?And on that note I think I?m going to go outside?? Gianni grabbed his scarf and headed outside the door? it seemed as if the day would continue to be normal in Mars Haven? hopefully not as boring as the others but? Gianni wouldn?t keep his hopes up, despite the attacks this was one of the few heavily, secrete, guarded cities for miles and miles? nothing happened out of the ordinary, or often that is.

Dawner sat on the side of his and Dunan’s bed pulling his long red locks into a single braid. “Ryn said this guy was a telepath right?” Dunan said out the blue. “Yes, she did” Dawner answered as he took off his clothes and put silk PJ bottoms on. “But I have a feeling he may even have quite a few spells under his belt.” “Well if that’s what you feel then I’m sure you’re right.” Dunan motioned for Dawner to come snuggle next to him. “You’ve been psychic all your life, I’m sure you can take anything he can throw” “Lets hope so Dunan, I’m the only magical defense on this team.” Dawner said getting next to Dunan. “How dare he try his minds tricks on Karyn, He better realize he’s dealing with professionals now.” Dunan chuckled then wrapped his arms around Dawner. “Feisty tonight, are we?” “Uhh not that feisty, Love” Dawner teased. “I have a lot on my mind…” “Well that’s nothing a good nights sleep cant cure, even if the suns a few hours away.” “True… good night then Love” Dawner said closing his eyes and willing his mind to stop racing. Deleur looked at him suspiciously then shrugged it off, “Well I’m going to take off Sir, Please be careful and take it easy.” “You too Deleur have a great weekend” Dawner called after her as she shut the door behind herself. Dawner groaned, He had planed on going to see Dunan at his club but he was too drained and his thoughts were heavy as soon as he’d walk through the door the whole club’s atmosphere would become gloomy. It had been ten years and he still had trouble with projecting his emotions on to other people, he had become better at staying calm though but on days like this it was a different story. Dawner was thankful he talked Dunan into getting this place… secluded from preying eyes and the hustle and bustle of the city. He also loved the fact that it wasn’t far from the wizarding school. “Baiser!..” Dawner swore in French as it started to pour down rain out of nowhere. The house was in view… but then a snarl escaped Dawner’s lips. How could he have been so caught up to not notice he was being surrounded. There was no other explanation to why he hadn’t sense them earlier, his guess was they were zombies. Without any brain activity how else wouldn’t he have sensed them. But where there were Zombie hoards there was someone controlling them. It had to be a Necromancing Mage of some sort… that would explain the sudden down pour. Dawner chuckled to himself. “He summoned this weather thinking I would have trouble flinging fireballs to end this quicky” Dawner had to admit it was a good strategy but useless to use on someone like himself… Dawner would soon show this Mage he was going up against a pro. The Zombies began to emerge from the shadows and began closing in on Dawner who still stood at attention. When they got close enough Dawner pulled his wand from his drenched wizard’s robe and pointed it above his head purple lightning-like energy struck the clouds above him and the weather got worst. The winds picked up reaching the boarder line standards to become categorized as hurricane winds. Lightning began crashing down randomly striking Zombies. Dawner’s increasing the wheater conditions would most likely throw of whoever was controlling the zombies… he had to be close. And with everything going on he would break concentration. Dawner watched as some zombies just stopped in their tracts with a dumb look in their face, it had happen the necromancing mage must have broken the link he had with the zombies preoccupied with maybe… trying to gain footing in this horrible weather. Dawner flicked his wand again and thick shards of ice began storming down. As Dawner was casting these weather spells he was psychically scaning the area for the necromancer. He was serching for the faintess feelings or frantic thoughts until…. He heard it. “Damn it… what have I gotten myself into.” “Big trouble is what.” Dawner was in the man’s head speaking to him. “Now, you could call off your little army and tell me who sent you… or I could accomplish this the hard way…” “I..i’m not afraid of you!” The man said out load. Dawner’s head snapped in the direction the Necromancer was. “You should have been” Dawner mind-spoke to him. Dawner quickly scanned his mind then telepathically and viciously attacked it. The poor sap slumped down on the ground, foaming at the mouth a bit, his eyes wide in horror… He was brain dead now. He was mentally weak which made this very easy. But he knew nothing of his employers. “Useless” Dawner sighed… Well at least he’d have real blood to drink tonight, which he has not had for quite some time. Dawner dispersed the weather and then started blasting away at the Zombies until they were no more…. Dawner pulled his damp bloodred waist long hair into a pony tail. “Good thing I cant catch colds” He picked up his briefcase and Headed toward the house… “Dunan usually has entertaining stories from the club, this time I’m sure I’ll have him beat in ‘who’s day was more exciting’.” Dawner laughed to himself.

He was a vampire and couldn?t shift back to his normal self simply because the vampire DNA had destroyed his human DNA changing him permanently, never to revert back but Calil?s case was completely different. The toxins were fusing with her DNA and had a possibility of not destroying it but altering it and making it stronger. There was hope she could suppress this and be able to evoke the Powers of her new DNA only when needed, like a vampire does or a werewolf when transforming. ?I must tell her?? Dawner rush out the room and headed to Calil?s. This would seem impossible only if Calil didn?t have magical back up.

And what can we do to comfort you? Sure as hell cant hug you or talk to you for too long cause your fumes would be too deadly for some of us. Is that what you want?” Dawner felt lightheaded… something was fueling his rant.. maybe he was channeling what the others were feeling along with his own emotions. Dunan grabbed Dawner’s hand the way he did it signaled Dawner he was being a little harsh but Dawner pulled away. Calil could handle the truth and no one else was going to call her out on what this was really about so… he had to, but Dawner was okay with it if this was going to save her he’d reprimand her ten times over. Calil was next to get steamed… “Why does it seem so impossible to you that I want to be more of a help to our cause! “ “Because it’s not even about that! And you know it!” Dawner shot back. “What the hell are you talking about?” Calil was getting angry but at the same time she was almost amazed at Dawner growing balls… and to stand up to her. Regardless of the reason why, this was something Calil had to decide. Dawner like, everyone else, just hoped everything would work out…..

Dawner and Dunan ran toward the huge Holdren creature. ?Eh, well you said you wanted some fun right babe?? Dunan said craning his neck up looking at holdren. Dawner and Dunan rushed to their foes. The three flying beast tried splitting the couple up two of them swooped directly on Dunan throwing him up in the sky. ?Dunan!? Dawner skidded to a stop and kicked off the ground focusing his telekinesis to surround him and left him up. One of the flying beast came flying up under Dawner. Dawner bit his finger tip and held his hand like a gun toward the beast gaining speed under him. ?Take that, Fiend? Dawner forced his blood out at the same time using his telekinetic powers to force it into a microscopic ray with such force that in shot through the monster?s eye and came out his head. The fiend shrieked as it fell to its death. By the time Dawner got to Dunan he was spinning in the air at a high speed slashing the two flying demons that were attacking him, Dawner aimed his ?gun? at one yelling ?Blood shot? He repeatedly shot holes in it?s wings until it began to plummet down. ?Hey you there!? Dunan called sinking his hand into their last flying foe. ?You better stop wasting blood like that babe.? Dunan ripped out the demons heart and threw it to Dawner who caught it and sucked the blood from it until it was shriveled and turned grey. They both landed on the ground facing Fabian. ?What was that about being cornered, Father?? Dawner smiled, not attempting to wipe the blood trickling down the side of his mouth. His mouth between a snarl and grin. Dunan looked at his lover fondly. ?I cant help but to find the animal side of you quite attractive and a bit unnerving.? Dunan said thoughtfully. ?Oh just wait sweetheart you have not seen anything yet? ?It will only be a matter of time before you are consumed by your power Son??
