Defcon5 Posted August 17, 2001 Posted August 17, 2001 In front of one of my posts in the Nintendo fourm it says sticky in front of it what does that mean?
Treble Posted August 17, 2001 Posted August 17, 2001 It means it'll stay on the top of all other topics in the Nintendo Forum except for the announcement topic.
Kuja Posted August 17, 2001 Posted August 17, 2001 a mod has to do it... and i told treble to do it cause i wanted to test it out... and didnt have any threads i thought deserved it... and i think a countdown to a launch is worth it but then... i have that type of relationship w/ most mods... if i want something done i ask... if they do they ask, thou we check it out first but still it is more effient than just complaning
Warlock Posted August 17, 2001 Posted August 17, 2001 Yes, the sticky option is qutie useful for those important messages...
Milliardo Posted August 17, 2001 Posted August 17, 2001 Something important, like a poll for a new forum, is best stuck so that admins and mods won't have to go looking around if ever the topic gets pushed down. Also, announcements can be made that way, so that members can react to it, and admins can make clarifications to any questions made.
Matt.D Posted August 17, 2001 Posted August 17, 2001 Heh, now the mods can post warnings and stuff and no one can say "I didn't know that cuz there was never a topic saying so." It's sooo anoying when ppl do that.
