Morpheus Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Wouldn't it be plausible to delete all threads that have been inactive for a year in The prefecture and Hardwired? If someone posts in them they immediatly get closed.
Semjaza Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 In Hardwired, they automatically go into the archives after a set period of time. No one can post in them there. Otherwise, stuff in Hardwired, last I was informed, can really be posted in any time. It shouldn't affect anything.
Baron Samedi Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 If they were going to do anything with Prefecture threads, I'd suggest archive, rather than bin them. But instead of that, maybe if there could be a way to engineer some sort of Popup warning "Are you sure you wish to post in this thread: It is Over __ months old, and will most likely be locked" could be more effective...but leave the option open to revive threads that may have some continued relevance.
