Art Charcoal Portrait

Alright, this is my first real charcoal portrait. I used Faber Castell charcoal on this, both soft and medium. The paper is just cheap sketch paper, and it took me about two or three hours. It is a portrait of whom I consider the most [COLOR=Red]beautiful[/COLOR] girl in the world <3 Please give only constructive criticism. If you have a request, please just PM me. Thank you.

Charcoals are really hard to work with so I can tell alot of work came into this. The hair looks really well done. The only thing I can point out is try to put some more depth to her face by shading more specific sections of her face and varying the shades.. Her face still seems 2-D while everything else makes it look 3-D. But for a first that's defintiely a great job. :)

:wow: that's really good! That would be a great picture and homage to a loved one even if it weren't in charcoal, but the charcoal only makes it cooler. Plus, the idea is a noble endeavor.
