Anime Grave of Fireflies (spoiler warning)

Has anybody else seen this movie it has left me a little confused about the main character was he still alive there at the end? It was extremely well done just a great story line and design of characters was straight on too.

:( Tis a very sad anime indeed, had me crying for days, anyway from what we see one can only assume that the main character is still alive at the end but his sis is not!:( :( :bawl:

The animated story is about two children orphaned at the end of World War II, is not for every child. After their mother dies (as she dies, she is shown wrapped in bloody bandages), they eventually settle in an abandoned bomb shelter.

From there, they scavenge food, which is scarce for nearly everyone.

This video is indeed sad, but it also shows the siblings' determination and love.

I would definitely recommend people to see this movie...
