Dibi2004 Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 I just evolved my Kakuna into a Beedrill. is it worth it for me to keep and train? Do you think it will come in handy later? or should i stick to training my Cyndaquil and Onix for now?
G/S/B Master Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 Well let me think........I don't think it's handy. But keep training it though. It might come in handy.Because of the twineedle attack.
Boo Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 Im training a bellsprout, mareep and cyndaquil (they're all evolved) So I would say. Train three a team ;) So the beedrill will be good. Its handy in Bugsy's gym. Poison against bug
G/S/B Master Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 Well at this time bedrill doesn't have any poison type attacks.Until you get the toxic or the sludge bomb TM later in the game.
Dibi2004 Posted August 8, 2002 Author Posted August 8, 2002 Ok sounds good, and another q....should i keep Togepi??
G/S/B Master Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002
Originally posted by Dibi2004 Ok sounds good, and another q....should i keep Togepi??
ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????YOU SHOULD KEEP IT!!!!!!When it evolves to togetic teach it return IMMEDIATLY!!It is happy with you and also gets a 1.5 boost up with it to make a heavy hitter.
Dibi2004 Posted August 8, 2002 Author Posted August 8, 2002 wow i never thought of that....thanx alot so now i have cyndaquil an onix a Beedrill (all level 12) and now a Togepi :) what level does it evolve???
Amber_star Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 it depends it evoles when it gets happy (take it to the hair cut place EVERY day)
Dibi2004 Posted August 8, 2002 Author Posted August 8, 2002 oh, lol, thanx :) I wasnt sure if there was an exact level or anything, hey...i know that i shouldnt be asking on the board...but do you have AIM???
G/S/B Master Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 And when you reach to kanto visit gary's sister everyday at 4:00 til 5:00.Then she will groom your pokemon. Making it more happier.Don't give bitter things.Or else it will be mad
Dibi2004 Posted August 8, 2002 Author Posted August 8, 2002 Gary's sister?? where the heck is that???
G/S/B Master Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 In kanto.........palett town. You can't reach Kanto there intil you have beaten the Pokemon league. You can't reach pallet intil you have moved the snolax and get all the badges that snolax didn't blocked. If you want to IM me then put in KyOoTeBiNg.Don't ask why my SN is that.
Amber_star Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 yeah i didn't know you could go to kanto till that guy said i was in kanto. anyway the place in that underground place also has a hair cut....did anyone understand that?
ifm2181 Posted August 9, 2002 Posted August 9, 2002 Beedrill, if trained properly and has the right moves, can be one annoying bug. I beat my friend's Charizard with mine >:D And he'll never forget my level 255 Gengar
ifm2181 Posted August 9, 2002 Posted August 9, 2002 Bah, I don't know much about G/S/C... Nonetheless, Beedrill can be a great fighter if you train it properly.
Boo Posted August 9, 2002 Posted August 9, 2002 Hey! It knows POISON sting. You can't say it isnt poison. And Gary's sis can groom from 3-4 in my game. I got silver and crystal.
Kei Posted August 9, 2002 Posted August 9, 2002 Poison Sting may be a good choice when it comes to Bugsy's Gym, since, as said before, Bug-type Pokémon bore a weakness to Poison-type moves. But for his Gym, it would be best to go with the obvious choice and use Cydaquil if you want a quick battle. And Daisy's Tea Time is between 3 and 4:00pm everyday in Pallet Town.
Dibi2004 Posted August 9, 2002 Author Posted August 9, 2002 O ok, ill try it, and yer right, cydanquil will do the trick :) I am also now training a Slowpoke as my water type pokemon...should i use it? or find another water type to train??
Kei Posted August 9, 2002 Posted August 9, 2002 You shouldn't use Slowpoke, because it's, well, slow. Pardon the pun. You should try using Poliwag or Psyduck as your Water Pokémon for now. Better ones will come along later.
ifm2181 Posted August 9, 2002 Posted August 9, 2002 Twineedle is also a weapon of choice for many Beedrill users. Bug moves are great to have.
