Devon Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 i was wondering. when did vegita commit suicide? i was mad because i missed it. im not sure if i did though. they havent showed him in heaven yet so i was just wondering.
zidane11 Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 He did it to try and kill buu but he failed. He gave up his life to help the others. Enough said.
Transtic Nerve Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 Vegita doesn't go to heaven, just so you know.
GundamGohan Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 ****Spoiler**** yea... but it's kew that King Yamma keeps his body for furthur use... lol
SSJ_WILLIE Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 Vegeta thought that if he did an attack so powerful that he couldn't even survive, then there would be no way that Buu could survive. Vegeta sacrificed himself because he thought that he was the strongest fighter in the world because he had just defeated Gokou.

He didn't defeat Son Gokou, nor did he think he did, they stopped fighting and Vegita knocked out Gokou in order to defeat Buu alone He gets beaten and as a last resort sacrafices himself, believing it would destroy Buu and save everyone
Devon Posted October 30, 2002 Author Posted October 30, 2002 why wouldent he go to heaven? i mean he did something so brave to save others. i would HOPE i would go to heaven if i did something like that.

Yes but he did many bad things in the past, so it doesn't quite balance out His soul gets cleaned though....literally
vegeta rocker Posted October 31, 2002 Posted October 31, 2002 For the first time he wasnt fighting for himself. And he didn't defeat Gokou like they said that was a cheap shot.
Guest boogeta Posted November 1, 2002 Posted November 1, 2002 You know how vegeta is he trys to be the best at everything but since goku is the best he did his best to try to save the earth to get credit because goku always winsthe biger battle.:bawl: :( :p

Gohan defeated Cell (a spawn of Kakarot, yes, but not the man himself). Technically, Kakarot never beat Vegeta when they first fought. It was Kakarot's Genki-Dama, but Krillen threw it with an assist from Gohan. Kakarot got nailed by Androids 19 and 20, it was Vegeta who finished off 19, and then of course 17 finished off 20 (a.k.a. Dr. Gero). So no, Kakarot does not always win the bigger battle. Vegeta was pissedd off because he had been repeatedly humiliated. Kakarot was able to nearly match his power when they first fought. A third-class fighter proving a fight for an elite is not a normal occurance. Then it was Kakarot who avenged the Saiya-jin race by defeating Furiza, not him. He believed it was his duty to finish off Furiza. Vegeta could have cared less if it was any other foe, but not Furiza. Then to see Kakarot ascend to the Super Saiya-jin level before he got there. That was thought, in his mind, to be something for the royal bloodline only. I am sure this list could go longer, but I think you get the idea. It is not about the battle. It is about his pride and ego.

But then I am just speculating...
Transtic Nerve Posted November 2, 2002 Posted November 2, 2002 Gokou never wins the "big battle" till he defeats Buu. Well, refering to DBZ that is. Raditz - Piccolo Vegita/Napa - No one Furiiza - Technically, himself. But then Trunks. Gokou never KILLS Furiiza King Cold - Trunks Androids - Cell Cell - Gohan Buu - Gokou, finally All Gokou did was die. Although Gokou did win several battles in the movies. I think they made Gokou win alot of battles in the movies because he couldn't do crap in the series. He's way overated.
Transtic Nerve Posted November 2, 2002 Posted November 2, 2002
Originally posted by Devon what about the garlic jr. saga huh???
What? Gokou didn't win anything in that peice of garbage saga either. It was gohan, AGAIN.

Everyone has their excuse or reason as to why they did not win or achieve something. It still does not change the fact that they lost.

Tecnically, Vegeta killed Nappa, But you are right about Gokou not winning any major battles granted the ones in the movies and in the Dragon ball sagas. He does help a whole lot in the battles though.
SSJ5 Vegeta Posted November 3, 2002 Posted November 3, 2002
Originally posted by SSJ_WILLIE Vegeta thought that if he did an attack so powerful that he couldn't even survive, then there would be no way that Buu could survive.
Which Vegeta actually wasn't the strongest fighter in the world because when Goku went and fought Fat Majin Buu he had no prior training and went Super Saiyajin Level 3 proving he was indeed alot stronger than Vegeta. If he would have transformed he would have easily defeated Vegeta, my belief is he didn't because it would drain a massive amount of his energy, and plus it would diminish the time he had left on earth.

shibatku Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 I thought it was funny that Vegeta's suiside didn't even kill Buu. Vegeta's an idiot. If he can't be killed by blasting a hole through him then why could he just pull himself back together after being blown up. Goku would at least fought and figured a better way to do that without killing himself(I know he was dead, but thats not the point) Goku didn't even get the chance to fight him first. At least Goku could have used SSJ3 and done some damage before the others just made Buu mad. Then Buu went on the killing spree. To bad they didn't have the earrings before he went to super Buu, then Buu would have died right there, but then were would the story be.
