1. I've got no clue what it means, but I've had a similar dream to... Except I finally dial the number right. And then the phone is busy. So yeah its weird. I dial and dial and dial for what seems like hours and then I finally get it right and...the phones busy. Ironic no?
2. Wow I remember a topic like this a while ago. "You know you have no life when...." Heh great topic. Yeah I've done it myself before....I don't say L-O-L I say "La" But I've only done that twice! And thats because I was on AIM for 2 days straight without going to sleep! Thats my excuse!
3. Yeah I see what you mean Tasis. Some people tend to generalize that smokers here are Punks and Skaters where people who don't are the cool people. I find it really annoying, but hey thats ok.... The whole thing about it is, I think ALOt of people do smoke to be cool, but then they get addicted to it. I think its kinda funny when that happens. Maybe cigarettes were put here for a different reason. To teach us all a lesson.... CONFORMATY SUCKS!!! Well ok maybe thats a stretch but you get the idea! *looks around* I expected more people to post o.O.
4. Tasis has a point. Most people I know around here are really rude when it comes to smoking. I remember I was hanging out with a friend, and one of my friends and I had a cigarette. The other friend had asthma and we completely forgot, so he kindly asked us to put them out. I had no problem with it, I don't have the right to make someone else uncomfortable but the other friend went balistic. Thats kinda how it is period. Alot of people I guess think of their cigarettes as idols or something. I don't know how to describe it. Did that even make sense!?
Well I personally think around my area young kids and yobs just smoke for an image. It classes them as 'cool' supposely, but I think it's plain stupid. You try it, because of peer pressure and to fit in with mates, then your hooked ... What do you do now? Your life's expiration date closes in when you smoke and there are plenty of problems with it. I'm hoping to never smoke nor do drugs and I'm doing good so far! I like my life the way it is and I don't want to waste my money on cigarettes when I could be buying things I much rather would want! If that means not being 'cool' then oh well I would prefer to get somewhere in life to be honest. That's my opinion anyway ...
You know what the funny thing is. Here its the exact opposite. You are "un-cool" if you smoke. Go figure o.O Probably because I go to a catholic school though. Oh well
5. Ah don't delete it. No topic is truly a topic untill it has contraversy. Contraversy is what makes the world go 'round. And of course I probably spelled it wrong. Oh well.... BACK TO THE TOPIC! I think its amazingly rude when people go "EWWW SMOKING GROSS!" They're entitled to their own opinion, but going out of their way to point out that you're smoking and they think its wrong is just plain rude. What happened to common curtosy. I mean if you don't want the person next to you to be smoking, just ask them politely to stop. And if worst comes to worse and they are being complete jackasses about it, just move. It won't hurt you to exercise abit. I mean I can see where people are coming from. Its rude for someone to automatically assume that you're ok with smoking and then they just "light one up" in your car. I think thats totally un-called for. People just need to be more curtouse of eachother thats all! :) *gets smacked by Flora* I knew that was coming o.O
6. Its odd, alot of people tell me they grew up around smoke so that stops them from smoking. I grew up with my family smoking and it only wants me to smoke more. My real dad smoked all the time and I remember the smell vividly. For some reason I've grown to love the smell. Not sure why. I'm sure some physciatrist would probably say I'm longing for a father figure in my life, and that smoking is some way to find that figure, but hey that really doesn't matter. I smoke, when I can get my hands on a cigarette. I don't really encourage it, and I don't go out of my way to show people that I do. Its my choice to smoke. I enjoy it. It relaxes me. So yeah I smoke. Uhm...I "started" smoking last year. I don't do it very often, at most maybe 1 a month if I'm lucky. Last time I did was in...Semptember. Although I had 5 cigarettes that month, so yeah. I don't honestly see anything wrong with it. If you make a choice to do it, whats anyone elses business to tell you not to? I know thats kinda of a selfish thing to say, but hey its my opinion. Like it or not o.O> Wow that sounded mean. Oh well. So yeah I'm a 14 year old that smokes whenever he can get his dirty little hands on a cigarette. I mainly smoke Marborol (sp) Lights, but I'll do anything. Yeah wow that was fun! You know what. The odd thing about it is. Everyone says their first time they coughed and their throat burned. It didn't for me. I guess you could say it came naturally for me. I didn't cough or anything. So yeah. Go me o.O I guess
7. I know I've said it before, but I love it! Its absolutely kick buttish! Heh I wish I could write like that
8. Ok.... Micheal Jackson. There is NO way possible that you can say that you do not respect this man as an artist. He revolutionized the music industry. He was the full package. He could dance, and he could sing. He looked great. In his time he was the most amazing, inspiration, and awesome performer out there. I think its a shame he went down hill like he did. My respect for him has lessened slightly, but I still respect him highly.
9. Since when has love "made sense." If you love someone, you love them. You don't love their age, their ethnic background, you love THEM. Age is just another barrier...
10.
Originally posted by Arikel There has been a lot of controversy lately in my general area about this subject, so decided to ask the OB goers on their opinion. What do you feel about people in a relationship with ages years apart from the other? Are you for/against it? Do you not care anyway? what do you think a maximum age difference would be? I'd really like your input.
Thinks about a convo he had with TN a while ago. Well like he said, its not really age that matters. What really matters is maturity. I don't think society should be able to tell you who and who not to love. I mean we're all friends here and our ages range from 10-30....Why should age stop us?
11. I was thinking about it for a bit and you know what, HeavyArms could be one of the most important Gundams in the group. They all play their part correct? Well say all five Gundams were an army. (Which in a way they are) Heavyarms would be the archers where as Deathscythe, Sandrock, Nataku, and Wing Zero are mainly infantry. So I mean Heavyarms tactically plays his roll beautifully in the series. So you know what, I take my statement back. I think Heavyarms is a great mobile suit/gundam. One question. Is the "Gundamized Army Knife" made out of Gundanium Alloy or just metal? Because if it was just steel or metal don't you think it'd break? Or did it? I don't think it did.
12. Yeah I had the same problem. I used to have Apprentice and I got it just so I could play one friend. But the problem is finding the person, A. And B) finding anyone else to play. That was last year too. Good luck finding someone.
13. For the first one I would pick: The Teenager. Just because he/she/it knows whats really going on. The grandma does but she is going to die soon anyways. The baby as much as I hate to say it doesn't really realize anything to a point. I think if the teenager died it would be more painful for he/she/it than the baby or the grandmother. For the second one I would pic: Yes Just as Ken said, the odds are in your favor. I mean if you die, would you really know you died. It would be a quick enough death. I'd do it
14. The down fall of man is his own greed. Thats just sick. I can't believe people are that cruel. Well I guess I can but that girl is going to need help when she gets older. Nothing against her, but if her parents could do that to her no telling what they've already done to her. Why would you do that to someone you love? They gave birth to her for christ's sake. Thats just sick. I guess it doesn't suprise me that much. Humans today are controlled by money. I hate it, but thats life. I just know I'll NEVER do that to my child/children. P.S: Nice to see you back Lady M
15. Yeah those old cards from the beta version get to be worth quite alot of money. I should know...snickers evily I used to computer game, and I wouldn't recommend it. I mean I guess in your case it wouldn't hurt, but its so limiting. I find that the combinations and stuff you can use are very limiting and it just doesn't show you the true magic. Sure you get to play and you dig alittle bit into the sorcery and instant area but you don't really learn all that much from it. I guess for a beginner with noone else to play its a pretty good game.
16. Hm....has there been a thread about this? I think its ok. I don't like the fact that it relys simply on ammunition and guns to fight. I know it has close combat capability but I still don't like it that much. If it had a simple beam saber that it could use, I'd like it more...
17. I like it. The rythme (I know I mis spelled that, but for the life of me I can't spell it right now) is off a bit, but thats no big deal. Only correction I can offer is in the first stanza to keep a rhythme is put "As the sky molds from blur to red There are times that i wish i were dead" But thats just a suggestion, from how I read it it seemed to work better than way, BUT i may be wrong.
18. I've never in my life used the books. I learned from watching and playing, and personally I think thats the best way to learn. Besides the books are always to wordy.

21.
Originally posted by treton_noir i never played legend of the 5 rings, but i heard it was pretty good. i played magic for years. i have about 3 or 4 thousand cards (currently trying to sell). my brother has almost 26.5 thousand. my friends and i would play all the time (even in class and during tests). sometimes games would last days. then, wizards of the coast realized that if they watered down the mechanics and made the game easier they could make a killing.it just got so corporate that it wasnt fun any more. the new players who come in dont know what it used to be like. its a sad, sad world.
That man right there is a smart man. The new cards are horrible, I'm so sick of this stupid cards that are 12/12 that take like 2 mana. I miss the times when the game actually required inteligence. I, however, still play with a few select friends. We have old school tourneys all the time. I love Magic, I've played it since I was a 4th grader. The funny thing is though I haven't gotten a booster pack since Nemesis came out. Ah the demise of Magic came with those cards. Can you believe that Tempest packs are 9 bucks now....Thats horrible. Yeah I'm ranting sorry. But yeah I play Magic: The Gathering....All the time.
22. Ril ducked as a sword wnt slicing in the air. The sword missed his head by inches. He grinned and shoved a dagger into the goblin. It fell down to the ground covered in blood. He continued fighting swiftly dodging the swords as the came flying by. His hands were soaked red with the blood of the goblins. He heard a crash and saw the wargs come in. He watched as Eonwe helped Winter. Ril: What was that he said...it was elven... Ril shook his head. He watched as more and more wargs piled in. There was no way that Eonwe could take them on his own. Ril had to help. He crosed his daggers above his head as a sword came bearing down on him. He grunted slightly at the force of the blow, but was able to hold the sword with his daggers. He quickly kicked the goblin's legs out from under him. As the goblin fell Ril impaled the goblin in its chest. The goblin fell dead before it hit the ground. Ril gripped his daggers tightly. He took a deap breath then ran towards the wargs. He quickly side stepped attacks from the goblins, but the path towards the wargs was relatively clear. As he got closer he picked a warg in the middle of the pack as his target. He ran and jumped onto its back. Before the warg had time to react Ril quickly jabbed both daggers right between the wargs shoulder blades. The warg screamed in pain and starting flailing violently. Ril regained his balanced and gripped the daggers tighter. He couldn't let go, if he did he was dead. Ril's ribs began to burn as the constantly banged against the wargs back. Ril ignored his pain as a slight grin of victory stretched over his face. His plan was working. The warg was hitting his companions as it flailed attempting to get Ril off its back. Soon the wargs were fighting amongst themselves. Ril was ontop of a mass of bodies. Thats all you could see. It was impossible to tell one warg from eachother as they faught in their own confusion.
23. Ril looked over at Eonwe for a moment, then gripped his daggers. He quickly sliced to his left, cutting straight through a goblins stomach. It fell to the blood screaming and kicking. Ril's face scrunched up in disgust. He'd never killed anything besides deer and orcs. He held the deer on a higher level than the orc, and normally felt bad for killing it. He quickly held up his two daggers, crossing them, and blocked a sword that was coming for his head. He swiftly kicked the owner's legs from under him and came down with his two daggers impaling the sword bearer. Ril looked over at Winter and saw a goblin attempting to climb up on the back of the horse. Ril took the few yards between the two quickly. He grabbed the goblin by the neck as it was reaching the top. He quickly choked the goblin for a moment then threw it to the ground. He then quickly stabbed it. Winter: "Thanks..." Ril nodded and continued fighting. He slide on his feet easily. He moved the daggers quickly causing mis-direction and confusing the goblins.
