The Otaku/Otaku boards in ten years

It'll be gone, abandoned by those who have something to do in their life. We'll be in college, or be having kids. We'll be amounting to something... or most of us, I hope. -
Originally posted by vegeta rocker Just kick them off when they cease to show up. Or just continue without them by getting a replacement, that'll teach 'em.
You can't do that if they're the creator of the RPG.

Yeah, I have improved greatly. Oh my gods, if you saw how I wrote this time last year.. I mean.. it's just horrible. I didn't know what the hell detail was, and I didn't know that you had to give depth within your characters. I think the thing that is hardest for beginning writers the the transformation from their mind to paper; you can see it in your mind, but it's hard to write... that was my problem, anyways.

Yeah.. I'm not gonna read this.. until you space properly.. it just bugs me. Could you do that?

I don't know what my bastard father does and I don't want to know. All I know is that he can't keep a job for more than a week. My mom, Lori, works in a factory called Mill's Pride - they make kitchen cabinets and the like. Nothing interesting.

I don't see how we could help you.. you can only do this yourself. Study. That's all you can do, so do it.

I'm very strict on how I use the term "loved". Most of the time, I use "love" when I'm talking 'bout my drama buds.. but as of now, I really, truly love Terry.. he's a fellow cast member.. It took time, but I know it's true. I don't think it'll fade easily. Love can be interpreted many different ways, and can be explained differently. I say, let love be and let it be unexplained.

This is my first piece of poetry I've written for a while, so sorry if it's bad... And it's about a personal thing that's about to happen.. if you want to know what, read myOtaku. We?ve only been friends for a while But in that short time, you?ve crawled into my heart Leaving a permanent mark forevermore Piercing my emotions like a very sharp dart A new day will begin, my life a clean slate But I always remember that you are there And I regain my hope, my faith And my emotions are no longer bare But as quickly as we met, we depart And as we go each our separate way My heart grows weary, my emotions weak But you promise to return again one day But can you keep your promise? Can you say you?ll always be there for me? I hope you can, once and for all, because Because, you are once and for always a friend, you see

Wicca - right Wicca, that is, is in no way related to the devil. No way. Only those who defy the Devine use demons - thus, they're not true Wiccans. No, it has not died out - people are just too afraid to come out because of prejudice ********. And the correct terms are Wiccan and Pagan - get them right. Some may take offense. ;)

Most of the RPG makers who are twelve and under, and who make mature-contented RPGs don't have the capacity to make it a responsible RPG.. or at least in my line of sight.

I'm against banning gay marriages.. I mean, come on.. they say it's to stop the spread of AIDS or something, but I don't see anything but religion underlying.. just another thing where religion in the US takes place.. which also violates "Separation of Church and State." (don't let this go into a religion war.. I just mentioned my opinion, don't take it further than need be.)
Originally posted by duorocks17 When i was in choir back when it first came out, we sang the "minutes" song. I can't think of it's name right now. it's like "five hundred twenty four thousand six houndred minutes", i think. I really enjoyed singing this song, and our music teacher play the record, yes record, not cd, of it. I really enjoyed the music. I think i was a little to young at the time to be able to enjoy the show, though.
That one is called "Seasons of Love". The others are: One Song La Vie Boheme Life Support Light My Fire Take Me or Leave Me
Originally posted by Kyo no Ryu Mind your own business. I have reasons for disliking a bunch of lipsinking soft singers who have hundreds of girls swoning over their voice. All those songs are the same damn thing over and over. I heard invisiblew and thought it was Justin Timberlake then I heard him and thought it was some really bad emiem copier and I can never tell Nsync from Bacstreet Boys. Ramble all yoiu want Ill never agree.
Then you have really bad hearing.;)
Originally posted by BabyGirl I think that's slightly unfair of you to tell her that, but whatever. Maybe I just sympathize with her too much to care whether or not she's criticizing the military
Well, I wouldn't of cared so much that she was criticizing the army a week or two ago, but for Veteran's Day, we watched this very touching and sad movie.. I now have a newfound respect for the army. Sorry for being harsh. ^^; -
Originally posted by Manic O_o Is "Invisible" about stalking? Other than the idea that it may be about stalking, I'd say "Invisible" is a decent song. And this is an opinion coming from someone who listens to Dru Hill, Jay-Z and Linkin Park back-to-back.
No, I don't think it is.. I think it's about a someone either leaving him and ignoring him, or cheating on him and ignoring him.
Originally posted by Genkai Why would she be dead? We haven't had any recent attacks that or army has had to protect us from, except for 9/11 etc, which did happen and which our army didn't defend against. I'm not saying that I hate the army, but that's a stupid thing to say. I'm totally moving to El Salvador. No army there, they're completely nuetral and have never had a war. No money either, but I'll work around it.
No, not really... if we didn't have an army, another nation, for sure, would attack us. Common sense. -
Diet soda cancerous? What kind of crack were you two on? ...maybe I don't want to know. But, no, I don't think it is.

If you hate the army, you're very ungreatful. You'd be dead right now if we didn't have them. So, be thankful that your husband has the duty to protect America. -

I didn't know where this belongs, since it is a Broadway show, so I just put it here.. Well, I've been listening to a lot of Broadway lately, and out of all of the songs I have (seventy-six, to be exact), the music from Rent is my favorite, especially La Vie Boheme. I would love to go see it... so my question is, have any of you heard the music from it and/or gone to see it? Do you like it?
