1. Yes, they were originally black and white. This one I made of jacobian007. I put a two pixel border on the top and bottom, and one pixel on the sides: These two can be for anyone, just tell me what text you want on it: This one is one I just found, don't know where it's from, but I made it:
2.
I am so happy that nothing happened. I don't have any reason not to believe you, so of course, I take it as your word. . that's besides the point though. I am happy that you are ok, though, perhaps a bit shaken up at the moment. No need to get upset at anyone for not believing you. People have a natural defense to well, not believe what people say, especially if it's something that doesn't happen to them everyday. . Don't worry about what other people think. You know what happened. .
That's right, it doesn't matter what I think. But you have to keep in mind that those of us who don't believe Peach's story also have good reasons for not believing his. One, this is the internet. Most people's personas aren't what they are in real life, therefor they do not do things they'd normally do. Such as lying. There's a fifty/fifty chance he's either lying or telling the truth. Two, we don't know him. No one on this forum can honestly say they know him, unless of course they know you in real life. Referring to my comment about personas, no one truly knows anyone unless they know them in real life, or have been around them for more than a year. It's unwise to believe everything you're told. EDIT: We're not mean just because we don't believe you, Peach. We just know what we believe and don't. Doesn't make us bad people in any way, shape, or form.
3.
Honestly? No, not really.
I second that. Honestly, wouldn't you rather tell the authorities rather than online people, half of which you don't know?
4. Here, I'm going to post the random banners I've made. Please post with constructive criticism.
5. This finger will ensure destruction. *sniff* After I wash it.
6. So far, these are the players: Luigi- Me Kirby- Ohkami Donkey Kong- Vicky Megaman- G/S/B Master Samus- GreatDeityLink We need one more person then I'll start.
7. I don't think people give "preps" much of a chance. Yes, there are some dullwitted, stereotypical, idiotic preppies out there, but if you hang around some of them enough, you find some are very sincere and caring; they're just in a different class than others, not a different planet. There are nice and caring preps, just like there are mean and crude outcasts. So think twice before you judge someone.
8. I've just listened to an old cd of mine, which happened to be Michael Jackson's History, and realized that I had forgotten how much I loved his music. His voice is incredible and his songs aren't the pop, no-meaning, lovey-dovey songs of today. My favorite songs so far have to be Black or White and Man in the Mirror, both having a great meaning behind them. His voice is great, as I've mentioned, and I can't get over it. Post your comments on this artist, and I remind you, don't discuss the media coverage, okay? Just about his music. Thanks. ^^
9. Man, sounds like your brother is a horn-dog. Or it's completely false. Either or. Either way, good luck to your brother, hope he finds a nice seven year old to settle down with.
10. Within one hour, Rogue and Leana had become fast friends. Rogue had taken her away to a building top, where she let the battered girl cry on her shoulder and tell her the whole story. Seemingly Rogue wasn't the only one with problems. It had started in San Fransisco, where Leana was supposed to be wed to a man named Terry Richards, whom she actually loved. When they were getting married and she kissed him, her mutation had manifested, and she killed him. From there, she fled to L.A., in hopes of concealing her identity. She had made some girlfriends while she spent time here, and felt like without telling them, they'd never be as close as she wanted to be. So she told them about her mutation, the power to bring life or death to anything and anyone she touched. At first, it was through any physical touch, but through strong will and a broken heart, she could control it and use her hands and bring death or life at will. Those girlfriends betrayed her though, and one of them was the woman on top of her, who Rogue had thrown into the crowd. She had learned never to trust humans again. After a couple hours of settling down and walking the streets, Rogue escorted her back to her own apartment, fearing that Leana's apartment might be too dangerous to approach again. "You can stay here for as long as you want, darlin'," Rogue said, the both of them sitting at the bar. "You don't know how much this means to me," Leana said. "Maybe I do," Rogue replied quietly, remembering when Professor Xavier had taken her in after she was threw with the Brotherhood. Professor Xavier might have interest in Leana, she thought, and she should try to get in contact with him or one of the X-men.
11. Some major things you might want to look into: 1. Punctuation. The starting letter of every sentence, including when someone speaks, should be capitalized. So should proper nouns, such as Digidestined. Your grammatical skills are good, but I have this suggestion:
So that is exactly what Yolei did, every digidestined got the message on their digivices
Instead of using "got", use "recieve". It sounds so much better. Ending punctuation should be kept in mind. Always put an ending punctuation mark at the end of a sentence. 2. Detail. Yes, it's nice that Yolei has discovered the other Digidestined, but how did she do it? Putting "(via the internet *wink*)" isn't going to cut it. It'd be nice to hear how she discovered them, and how she contacted them, and found out how to contact them. You may want to look into these to make your story better. ^_^
12.
Movies have a long history of badly portraying kids and teenagers... hell, just about anything really. But anyway, Jurassic Park is really awesome. I liked 2 and 3 too. I know some people complained about them for some reason, but I don't understand. There are dinosaurs. Who needs plot? Character development? As long as there are plenty of dinosaurs I'm interested.
I don't think I liked 2 very much, though I don't remember why. I really liked the third one, might be the best by far. I really liked the Pteradons. Or were they Pteradactyls? Are they the same thing?
13. I've just seen this film for the first time in a long time, and now that I understand it a lot more than when I did when I was little, I love it. It's my favorite Steven Spielberg film, I believe (don't know all of his films :P). I just like the thought of bringing dinosaurs back, for one thing. I don't think they were given much of a chance. And the theory that some dinosaurs evolved into birds might even be possible, as they do have some similarities (if the one's Allen pointed out exist). I totally despise the kids. -_- Might just be my disliking of kids, but the girl's constant stupidty and the boy's following of Allen. Please post your thoughts on this film.
14. The Arrival Lu kept his temper under control. What did they think they were doing? Coming here was a disaster to the Nintendo characters and their lives, but they didn't care. Not one bit. He had no idea what he was going to do. But one thing he did know: Playstation was a problem. His base was secret, kept in the forest of the Mushroom Kingdom. Though he didn't have visitors very often, but today was different. Mario, president of Nintendo, was here to have a meeting. A meeting on what to do about the "Playstation problem". The plump plumber was sitting across from him, clad in his red jumpsuit and hat, and his blue undershirt. His mustache was neat, as it had always been. "Now what must we do to eliminate this problem?" Lu asked. "We need a squad of the most elite characters we can find," Mario said in his Italian accent. "So you're saying we assemble a team of characters and go head to head with Playstation?" "Mama mia! Yes!" "And do you have any characters in mind?" "Yes, I have the perfect team." Mario took several photos out of his briefcase and showed them to Lu individually. "My brother, Luigi, will be the leader. He has proven that he can take charge when need be. His past affiliations include such games as Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, and Mario Parties 1-4, along with me. Recently, he has starred in his own Luigi's Mansion, and has begun a career of his own. Mama mia! Luigi Mario will not dissapoint!" "The dynamic duo, Banjo the Bear and Kazooie the Bird, are a team of their own. Banjo is the main furry, furious character of Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie. He will be a strong part of the team. Kazooie is the sidekick, but does all the work herself (or so she says). She is a Bree-gull, a rare and loud-mouthed bird. Her comedics will help keep the stress level down." "Donkey Kong will be the rough member of the team, and is also very skilled in locating things that are needed to be found. He's starred in Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong 64, and is a very good friend of mine. His barrel-throwing attitude will make it hard for Playstation to rule." "Kirby is little, but don't let that fool you. Mama mia! This guy's ability is to vacuum anything into his endless stomach and use their powers for his own personal use. He's demonstrated this in many Kirby games, and even his own tv show! Looks like the show will go on hiatus!" "The quiet but strong headed Megaman is a must in this adventure. He is very talented in fighting and has many weapons to his use. He's been in multiple games, such as Megaman: Red Sun and Megaman: Blue Moon. We cannot go wrong with him." "Samus is a brute! She's the toughest woman I've ever seen. Well, when Peach isn't in a mood anyways. She's the star of the series of Metroid Prime games and always defeats her foes. She is advanced in weaponry and locating skills. She will ensure our success. "And those are the agents. Mama mia! We will win!" "They seem great to me, Mario. But do you have a name for this team?" "The League of Not So Ordinary Gentlemen!" --- This RPG will put these Nintendo characters against these new PS characters: Tommy Vercetti Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. All characters are playable except Lu, Mario, and the PS characters. Sign-ups should look like this: Name: Picture: (use the ones I provided) Games: (list most games your character was in. 17. Here's a new poem. It signifies what I feel like right now. Excuse the punctuation; I don't punctuate when I write poems for some reason. a cigarette burning next to an empty beer can a girl in the corner with tears of fire running down her cheeks bruised skin and a broken wrist tangled hair and a pierced heart she tried to figure out why things had to be this way an abusive father a no good mother was it a consequence? for being a bad girl or for sinning too much she prayed to the Lord Almighty to forgive her for her wrongdoings and closed her eyes wishing everything would go away and when she opened them it was all still there and she had to face reality
18. ... and this is what I get for being Catholic.
19. This is a character I'm adding, already approved by Vicky. Name: Leana Dawson Age: 20 Code-Name: Fate Mutation/Powers: She is able to bring life or death to anything and anyone she touches, simply by will. Example: she can bring a dead flower to life, and bring death to it again. Unlike Rogue who can't control her similar power, Leana can control it. Side: X-men (eventually) Description: Personality: Leana is well-spoken and well-educated. She's also rich, so sometimes arrogance shows through. Nationality: Australian Bio: Leana's parents moved from Australia to San Fransisco when she was just a girl. Leana's father, Arthur Dawson, struggled to become an attorney and actually became one in Leana's early teens. Since then, they've become well-off and even rich. Leana was in love with Terry Richards, and was about to marry him when her mutation became known. When she kissed him at the altar, he fell to the floor, dead. She realized what she had done and fled to L.A., where she's been residing since. --- This bio sucks. I hate making them up for new, original characters. Oh, and I know the picture is White Queen, but let's pretend it's Leana.
20. The phone rang three times before Rogue set the reciever down. Jean must've been out, training or whatnot. Though she had no intention of rejoining the team yet, she wanted to keep in contact if she could. She wasn't in hiding and didn't need to act like she was. She was calling to check in and see if there were any new mutant students. As far as she had seen, there weren't very many open mutants in L.A. and they liked to keep it that way. She walked into the kitchen of her apartment, which was fully retro themed with black-and-white tile and appliances. Passing the refridgerator, she read a note she had written to Gambit before she left the Mansion: Did you know that I get lonely at the thought of you not being here? Can you see you're not the only one who disappears? She had never sent it to him, wherever he was. She didn't feel like looking at it today so she grabbed it off the refridgerator, letting the magnet fall to the ground, and shoving the piece of paper into a nearby drawer. She leaned against the counter and sighed. Nothing seemed right anymore. Just as she closed her eyes, she heard a feminine scream from outside the apartment building. She ran to the closest window and looked to the street below, seeing a blond girl being surrounded by a crowd of other girls. Obviously, something wasn't right, and Rogue had to do something about it. She put her gloves on and rushed outside, only being able to break through the crowd by force. Though she had super strength, she had to hold it back because she couldn't harm the humans. After breaking through, she saw the blond on the ground with another girl on top of her, punching her in the face. Rogue grabbed the girl who was fighting by her upper arms, and threw her to some yelling bystanders, letting them all have a pleasant fall, but not hurting them. She grabbed the girl off the ground, holding her tight in her arms and taking off from the ground, heading away from the area. "What's your name, girlie?" Rogue asked. "My name is Leana," she said. "But you can call me Fate."
21. Hot diggity dog! Then the princess said...
22. Stupid name, eh? I was thinking of that.. well, nevermind. I doubt most of you would get what I was talking about. Anyways, these are two Rogue graphics that I tweaked and put my "artistic" spin on. Please tell me what you think.
23. Her short hair drifted in her eyes, blurring her vision slightly, but not bugging her enough to move it. Rogue sat at a small cafè on the corner of two very popular streets in the center of Los Angeles, City of Lost Angels. She considered herself to be a lost angel right now, away from her teammates, and her one true love. Her one and only love. Without him, she was nothing. Or she felt like nothing. Before leaving, Professor Xavier, along with other members of her team told her she was vital. It might have been true, but she didn't feel the need to stay with them. I love you, Cherre, and I always will. You're my everything, doll, and I'll always be here for you. His voice ran through her head like a ghost haunted. If any of those things were true, why did he leave her? They had both agreed they were growing apart, but he wanted to end it, she wanted to strengthen it. She had began thinking it's because of her mutation, the inability of physical contact with anyone. But they had dealt with it in the beginning, why was it a problem now? She longed for a kiss just as much as he did, but she kept strong. And he was a very strong person. Why did he stop loving her? The questions gave her a headache, and this was neither the time nor place for one. She lifted the glass of latè and took a sip, trying to avoid the obvious stares from the humans as they passed by. She had hoped they wouldn't recognize her with her new look, but once you're revealed as a mutant, you're never forgotten. She had rented an apartment for the time being, not planning on returning to the X-men without need. Gambit was her only need, and she didn't think he'd be returning to her any time soon.
24. I'm what people at my school call a "drifter", meaning I don't pick just one social class. I have friends in every level. Most people respect me because I don't take crap from anyone. I've been told I'm intimidating for some reason. Oh well.
25. Alright, I have a question for you so-called gamers. I've played games for many years, though I don't consider myself a gamer by heart. All the games I've ever seen are from the good guy's point of view. Well, screw that. Are there any games that let you play as the bad guy? If so, what are they, and are they any good? If not, would you play them if they were made?
