She doesn't actually feel the cold as it keeps her cool in the hot months but her body regulates in the cold months due to her connection with ice and freezing temperatures, instead it affects people and things around her. If Cameron's hands come in contact with someone or something for an extended period of time it will begin to freeze, giving a person frostbite or making an item frozen and possibly brittle depending on what it was originally made of. As a result she wears gloves that are lined with the same material that they make hypothermia blankets out of which prevents them from freezing over. She's practically been wearing these types of gloves from birth after she continually froze things, so they came up with the idea of utilizing the material. [COLOR="RoyalBlue"][B]C[/B][/color]ameron stepped out of the scalding hot shower, flooding the small bathroom with a wave of steam. She held her hands out under a dryer that looks like the type you would find in a restaurant or shopping centre bathroom, allowing the hot air to wash over the skin, dispelling the droplets of moisture. When they were dry she slipped on her pair of leather gloves and wiped the rest of herself off with a towel. [B][COLOR="RoyalBlue"]A[/COLOR][/B]s she dressed her mind faded back to her childhood. This way of showering had become routine due to her hands happening to freeze things that she touched for any prolonged period of time. She sighed as she remembered all the times her mother told her she was abnormal. Cameron had been hearing the same story ever since she was born, about how no one expected her to live through the first few days of her life, let alone 21 years. [B][COLOR="RoyalBlue"]O[/COLOR][/B]ften times she wondered whether her control over ice was a gift or a curse on her life. Admittedly it had come in handy on many occasions. The one particular moment that sticks out in her mind was from when she was young, a toddler of about 5... [I] [B][COLOR="RoyalBlue"]C[/COLOR][/B]ameron waddled around the edge of their backyard pool. Her mother watched her silently and ducked away as the phone rang from inside the house. Feeling the absence of her mother's presence, she whirled around quickly and lost her balance, toppling into the deep end of the pool. Cam cried and thrashed in the water, trying to keep afloat, but despite her attempts she was sinking into the water and no one was coming to save her. She felt herself losing her breath and water entered her lungs. Her arms were outstretched and suddenly in the moment of her greatest need, the entire pool froze to a block of ice, leaving Cameron to sit in a sunken hole. Just then she heard her mother return and she loudly gasped in surprise, not knowing what to do seeing her child sitting in a frozen pool.[/I] [B][COLOR="RoyalBlue"]C[/COLOR][/B]am frowned, she remembered what her mother had done to her. Sent her to doctor after doctor and a variety of 'specialists' to try to find out what it was that was wrong with her. Her mother had always been distant to her since her birth due to the heat defect, but after the pool she withdrew completely and didn't want to accept that there was an unfixable problem, all she wanted was a cure. It took Cameron a couple of years before she learnt how to control the power with her own will but once she did, life became that whole much easier so that she wasn't afraid of suddenly turning something into ice unexpectedly. [B][COLOR="RoyalBlue"]S[/COLOR][/B]he finished all of her preparations from the shower and left her house in light clothing, walking down the snow covered paths without a problem as others rushed by, bundled in layers of coats.[/SIZE][/INDENT]

As soon as I finished my studies I started working at Prometheo Laboratories because it is one of the only places that experiments with Chimaeras despite the potential lethalness. At this point I am under Professor Callisto and have seen many experiments gone wrong. It does sadden me whenever an experiment fails because I love all living creatures. Now you may ask why I work in such a field if I love organisms? I do so because it is all about making advancements for all creatures through modification and hopefully the experiments will work on humans as it will be a revolution for our world. It is a little bit of a coincidence that Macey also decided to work in this particular area, but we're not competitive about it, in fact sometimes we have to work together in order to get things done. While I love the life of high society, I don't necessarily like being pampered. If I gain a high position, I want it to be because I earned my way to that spot, and not because of my lineage. Spending time with animals is a hobby of mine that is looked down upon by some of my relatives, but I really do love creatures, and taking care of them brings me joy. I also enjoy the skills of fencing and horse riding, for competitions and just as a hobby, both of which I have been taught from a young age. I get along with most of my siblings and other relatives unless they have very different views from me. But large age gaps between some of us does make it more difficult to be close. Unlike some of the others, I go past the gates of High Czenoble and mingle with the workers. It saddens me to see their plight and I want to eventually be able to aid them, and if the Chimaera experiments are successful with humans, that has a strong possibility of happening. I have been asked on numerous occasions about why it is my hair and eye colour are so different from the rest of the members of my family, and some writers of the tabloids have suggested that I am not a legitimate child of my father, Leonhart Almagest and his deceased wife, my mother, Beatrice. I have decided to end all of the questions here by explaining why it is so. Firstly I assure all the readers of this document that I am 100% legitimate, and the fact of the matter is that it is a result of a potion gone awry. One of my friends from CHAOS decided to become a Potions Master when we graduated and the year we started at our disciplines, she tested a new potion on me. It was supposed to revitalize hair follicles to bring health, life and colour back into dull hair, not that I needed it at the time but I was a close friend and decided to help out. Instead of doing as it was supposed to do, it somehow managed to alter my hair and eye colour. I looked at myself and compared it to how I had previously looked, and I came to the realisation that I liked the new me and declined the offer to come up with a cure for it. It doesn't seem to fade at all and has become a part of me, acting exactly the same as how an original hair or eye colour would act. I enjoy being unique and set apart, though I could live without all the inquiries, but I suppose that is the life of an aristocrat.[/size][/color]

[size=1][COLOR="Navy"]I was wondering if you could elaborate on how long ago it was that Lady Patrice died, how long it was until Leonhart married Lady Bavaria, and whether Leonhart and Bavaria have had children. Just asking since it wasn't specified in the new Chronicle unless I missed it. One reason is that I've been working on my sign up and have most of it covered, but have been thinking of being a young child of Leonhart (late 20s) but not sure if that'll fit in with what your idea is. For example, if I was to make my character 27, Leonhart would have been 38 at the time of birth, and whether he was married and if so which wife.[/COLOR][/size]

Lately I've been playing [B]Final Fantasy VI Advance[/B] again, which is just edited from the original with extra espers and another couple of dungeons, if I remember correctly. I'm almost ready to hit Kefka's Tower but just collecting all the extra espers. As soon as I'm done with it I'm probably planning on playing [B]Final Fantasy IV Advance[/B] because I enjoyed that one too. Before I started working on VI I was playing [B]Final Fantasy Tactics Advance[/B], trying to get back to where I was last time before my game was erased, which was finished the story but working on completing the last few missions (had 200 something out of 300 complete) but the missions are repetitive and a bit of a pain to continue so I've put it on hold.[/color][/size]

I'm thinking about making a comeback in a couple of weeks too, almost holidays ^^ [B]So how is the quality of the RPGs being posted? Does it stack up to what you knew of the past RPGs posted in OB?[/B] I check every now and then to see how the progression is and I think it kinda works in waves. There are times where there doesn't seem to be a lot, then other times where the Arena's full of life. I think definitely some RPs do stack up to what I remember from back then but that's because everyone's growing and their skills are developing at the same time, plus there's newer members popping up. [B]What do RPers want these days? What elements of an RP do you look at before signing up?[/B] Personally one of the first things I pay attention to is the title. I'll usually check something out if it the title's catchy and intriguing. Then after that of course the other most important thing is the story line and background. If it's interesting and sounds well thought out then I'll usually give it a shot. Another factor I think is how well you feel your character would be able to develop during the plot. [B]When you look at signing up to an RPG, does it matter who posted it?[/B] Hmm, admittedly it does make a small difference to me. If it's by someone I know to be a good RPer I'll usually tend to check it out no matter what, just to see what it's about and to see if it's interesting. But I do check others mostly according to their title. [B]As an RPG writer, do you write for your audience (prospective RPers), or do you write a story that you want to personally want to roleplay and hope others find it interesting?[/B] Never really thought about this one but I tend to write something that I want to roleplay. Now that I actually give thought to this I feel that if you're only writing a story for others but you don't really feel much toward it then it won't work out because you need to be dedicated to the RP as the creator and that would be hard to do if you don't feel a connection to it. [B]And, have you ever given thought to what consequences (both positive and negative) your RPs have on your audiences' lives? [/B] To be perfectly honest, I don't think I've ever really given thought to the consequences that my RPs may have on the participants' lives. I have some free time at the moment so I've been trying to work on it more, I'm currently headed to Goldor's mansion. I think it's a pretty good game, reverting to the old system of Job classes is good and bad because of diversity and just annoyance of leveling new jobs. The one thing that really bugs me about it is you can only save on the World Map, so if you fight a boss at the end of a dungeon and die, you have to do it all again, including collecting the items along the way. And I still haven't finished the other games I listed earlier. >.>[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[color=navy]Oooh, I've never seen any of the older Gundams. Destiny was my first Gundam anime since I never had access to any of the others. Whether SEED is better than Destiny is debatable. In my own personal opinion, if I had to choose which is better I would say SEED just because it builds the story for SEED. If you're going to watch Destiny without SEED (Tombstone) it may help to have a little prior knowledge. But anyway, I like both, Destiny's quite cute and more than a little twisted. Has some good plot twists in it.[/color]

[COLOR="Navy"][SIZE="1"]Uhm, you catch on eventually. I wasn't aware that there was a series before Destiny and I ended up watching the entire thing first. As I was watching I realised that there must have been something before it due to character interactions. In answer to your question, it sorta matters because the characters from SEED are still in it, but there are also a whole new group of characters. Though watching Destiny first will be a spoiler for if you go back and watch SEED. One problem I saw, since I watched it the wrong way is that there are flashbacks and the older characters make references to SEED.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR="Navy"][SIZE="1"][B]Nintendo DS[/B] [B][I]-Cooking Mama:[/I][/B] I played it a bit then left it for a long time, so now I'm working on getting all of the recipes and getting a Gold medal for each recipe, but some of the steps are hard to do, especially with a stuffed touch screen. [B][I]-Trauma Center:[/I][/B] Almost done with the story, just have to finish one of the last few operations. Then I have to do the X Operations + trying to get S ranks. [B][I]-Hotel Dusk- Room 215:[/I][/B] I haven't played this in a long time but I'm still working on it, if I remember correctly I'm in the Third Chapter. [B]PSX:[/B] [B][I]-Final Fantasy VII:[/I][/B] I restarted the game during my break between First semester and Second semester. I'm in the Third Disc but I haven't had a lot of time to pick it up and finish it. Took a lot of time to do all the side quests and stuff. Currently in the Crater.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
