3. I leaned my shoulder against an alley wall, watching the bustling street with a calculating gaze hidden behind a pair of sleek sunglasses. I held my cellphone against my ear, a blank look on my face as I paid attention to the contract details. ?I expect you to be able to complete this without any complications, Ms. Bullet with a Kiss.? ?Hn. Consider it done.? I hung up the phone abruptly, tucking it away as I pushed away from the wall, joining the people on the streets. I headed back toward my apartment. I?d take on the job in a couple of hours, but I wanted to research the client and my newest target, more of where they would be than who they were. My apartment was a dark place, with the blinds drawn over the bulletproof glass to keep the bright sunlight out. I pushed my shades up to sit on top of my head, pushing the black, red streaked hair back. I sat at my computer and logged on with a number of clicks. I had access to databases of information, but when I say that, I didn?t say legally. Hacking was an entertaining past time that came in useful for when I was seeking information of any sort. My client was known as BKStyles, seeking the...termination of a fellow assassin known as Kitty. I knew who she was. Practically everyone knew everyone in their world because people had reps, whether they were good or bad was another story. But I knew it wouldn?t be the easiest job I could have taken, she was known as Kitty because of her catlike reflexes. I was also aware that she worked tangent with another by the name of Tiana. I pursed my lips thoughtfully and leaned back against the chair. I pulled out my cellphone and dialled the last number that had called me. ?BKStyles.? Was the drawled answer, thick with a Brooklyn accent. ?Do you know where she?ll be in the next couple of hours?? I didn?t bother saying who I was, he?d know and he?d know who I was talking about. ?Heard she?s got a job not far away.? ?Do you know exactly where she?ll be?? I rolled my eyes. There was a pause before he answered, ?...Yeah.? ?Well?? I questioned somewhat impatiently. He gave me the details and said that he?d go and try to separate Kitty from Tiana so I would have less complications of any sort. I agreed to that, not like it really mattered, but if he wanted to stick his neck out, fine. We hung up shortly after discussing details a little longer. I went to my hidden weapons locker, trapped behind a panel of wall that was opened by reading fingerprints, then unlocking the cabinet itself with a key that permanently hung off a long chain around my neck, along with a pair of dog tags. I selected one of my favourite weapons for snipering, the Dakota T-76 Longbow. I caressed the old friend warmly, feeling its smooth, cool metal surface as I remembered the times I?d had with it. Many a targets had fallen to its bullets. I grabbed a box of ammo and set them aside as I continued to consult the locker. I decided against bringing anything else, already having my Jericho tucked into the back of my jeans, covered by my fireball red top. I locked the cabinet up again and picked up the Longbow and ammunition, concealing them in a hard guitar case. I lifted it by the handle and exited my apartment, pulling my shades down with a smirk on my face. As for why I had a guitar case? I actually did play the guitar. With a glance at my watch I still had plenty of time to get to the place where Kitty and Tiana should be within a few hours and to find a good vantage point. --- I stood in front of the apartment complex. It wasn?t anything special, and I found myself wondering how BKStyles knew where they would be, and why exactly it was that he wanted another hitman taken down. I just pinned it down to an underground of sources, and something he may or may not have done, after all he did seem to know that he was a target. My client had told me that they would be aiming at the hotel. I examined the scene, counting the three levels to where I was told Kitty would be. For a good sniper point I would have to be several stories higher. I entered the hotel and took the elevator to a random level, it seems that I had pressed the number 5. I walked the halls, smiling and nodding politely to anyone I came across so I didn?t arouse suspicion. I was cautiously stalking a particular area that I figured would give me the best vantage point. Finally I got a lucky break as I heard a door opening. I quickly moved to the door next to it and pretended to be fumbling for my key to the room. I smiled as the occupant left, throwing my keys at the door as it closed. They caught in the doorway and kept the door open. Once I was sure the person had left I pressed open the door, stooping to recover my keys, kissing them before tucking them into my pocket. The door clicked and locked behind me as I crept around the room, making sure no one was still in. I grabbed a chair from the table and slid it beneath the doorknob so that it wouldn?t open in case the room?s occupant returned. ?Must be my luck day...? I whispered, sliding the glass door to the balcony open . I shifted the patio table over and half sat on it, more of leaned on it as I pointed my Longbow over the balcony rail and looked through my scope. My phone buzzed silently in my pocket, only lasting a couple of seconds. I knew it was BKStyles telling me that he was in position and going in. I wasn?t very surprised to see Tiana lying down on the balcony. There were a few seconds before she stood, lifting her rifle. My finger curled around the trigger, but she wasn?t my target. The rain made it a little harder to see, but I was used to working in all sorts of conditions. Suddenly I saw them appear. Kitty was covered in blood, I grimaced, knowing it would most likely be BKStyles?, which meant he was gone, but she still had an obligation to finish the mission. He had paid her beforehand through the mail, just in case something like this happened. Kitty leapt from the balcony, shortly followed by Tiana. They stood together on the pavement, talking briefly. I swiftly took my aim and pulled the trigger, grinning as it looked good, but she suddenly bent over, hands on her knees. I swore as the bullet missed, hitting a garbage can near them. The two of them became aware, Kitty pulling out her concealed pistols from beneath her leg warmers, eyes scanning. I took aim again, aiming this time for her right hand. This time my bullet found its target, making her release one of her pistols which Tiana swiftly picked up. The two started to run. ?Shit.? I quickly packed up the rifle and bravely jumped from the balcony, rolling on my sides clutching the guitar case to my chest. I got to my feet, feeling a little bruised. I pulled out my hidden Jericho and aimed, firing rounds at them. They were firing shots back which I managed to dodge with ease since they were shooting from a more awkward angle; twisting their bodies. My eyes were gleaming, this was a brilliant thrill. OOC: Here ya go, Mike. A kinda bored piece before sleep. Hope it?s ok with all. Started probably around the same time as Tiana and Kitty?s posts.

6. Thanks to Disenchanted for the Graphic ^^ ~In Japan~ A young girl with long, flowing chocolate brown hair sat at her desk, poised over a number of papers, notebooks and textbooks. She sighed and put down her mechanical pencil, rubbing her emerald eyes briefly. It was a Saturday afternoon and she was studying for a big exam on the upcoming Monday. The only thing was that her mind was preoccupied with other thoughts. Sakura sighed and leaned back, her head tilting backward. The matter that she had been deliberating was whether to get rid of the Clow/Sakura Cards. Her main reason to do so is because there wasn’t a need for them, and hadn’t been for 6 years, and she didn’t want someone to unknowingly release them again as she had so long ago. She opened the drawer of her desk and removed the items in there. Sakura paused for a moment and picked up her phone, dialling Yukito. When he picked up she requested his presence at her house. He said he was leaving his house before she had even finished the phone call. The connection closed and Sakura pulled the false bottom out of the drawer to reveal a compartment with a lock. She reached into her shirt and removed the Star Key, hanging off a string of leather. She unlocked the compartment and pulled out the pink book, setting it on top of her desk. As she released the seal, Kero rose out of the cover. “Sakura? What’s going on? You didn’t release the Cards again did you?” the bear creature yawned. “Iie. I want to have a serious discussion with you and Yue about the Cards.” The doorbell rang and Sakura ran downstairs to answer the door, letting Yukito in. The three of them were in her room together; Sakura sitting on the bed beside her desk, Yukito turned Yue sitting on the chair, and Kero on the desk. “What is it you wanted to discuss, Sakura?” Yue questioned. She took a deep breath, “I’m...thinking of getting rid of the Cards and the Book for good.” Several hours passed of them discussing the matter at hand before the doorbell rang a second time. Sakura looked at them and nodded, signalling for them to hide somehow. She ran down and opened the door to see Himiko, her neighbour that she was close friends with. “Hey Himiko, what do yo-” she was abruptly interrupted by the phone ringing. “Sorry, go on up to my room, I just have to grab the phone.” Himiko nodded and took the route to Sakura’s bedroom. She took a seat on the bed and looked around the room, seeing the mess of work on her desk, along with a curiously pink book. She stood and stared at it, looking at the circular symbol on it along with Sakura’s name. There was a thought that it could be her diary since it had a lock type thing on it too. But the lock didn’t have a keyhole. She glanced around to see if Sakura was coming, and when she was sure she wasn’t Himiko put two fingers on the latch, surprised when it glowed lightly and jumped open to her touch. Still glancing around, she opened the book and was in awe of the well of tarot cards in the book. She was the type to be interested in tarot cards and such, but as she flipped through the cards, she realised that she’d never heard of any of them before. “The...Windy...?” she whispered, reading the top card. Sakura entered the room to hear her mutter the name and realised what was about to happen. “NO!” she shouted, but it was too late. The same tornado started up, sending her work flying around the room as the Cards flickered, changing back to their original Clow form and disappearing through the walls, floor and ceiling. When it died down, Himiko stood there, still holding The Windy. “I’m sorry...” her eyes were wide, not registering what had happened. Kero and Yue flew in through the open window and Himiko jumped back in surprise. “I need to call, Syaoran.” Sakura rubbed her forehead. “See? This is exactly why I wanted to get rid of them.” “Syaoran, Sakura desu...Sorry, not a social call...Hai, bad news...Uh huh...Aa...My neighbour...Mhm...I’ll send Kero over...Hai...Hai...Aa...Ja ne.” The occupants of the room only heard Sakura’s half of the conversation and she didn’t bother explaining it to them. “Yue-san, I need you to fly to China and meet up with Syaoran.” “Aa, I’ll leave as soon as we’re done.” Yue nodded. “I’m going to be gathering a team of Card Captors here in Japan, and Syaoran will be doing the same in China. Kero-chan, you will act as the Guardian for my team, and Yue will aid the China team.” She turned to face the younger girl. “Himiko, you’ll be leading the team here because you opened the book. Here.” She pulled the leather string from her neck, the Star Key had reverted to its original Clow Key form. She pressed it into Himiko’s palm and curled her fingers around it tightly. A white glow emitted from her hand and when she uncurled her hands it had changed forms, looking like a small scythe with the key part at the bottom. ~In China~ Syaoran hung up the phone and sighed, running a hand through messy, chocolate brown locks, walking back into the room he had been in before the phone call. Meiling was still in her same position on the couch. “What is it?” she asked, noting his frown. “It was Sakura. Someone released the Clow Cards again.” “You’re not...-” “No, we’ll both be gathering teams to hunt. I need to go find Xing Yuan.” “Xing Yuan?” “I think she’ll be the best person to lead the team.” was the last thing he said, leaving. After about half an hour of searching and talking to Yuan they were ready to move on. As Syaoran was about to pass something to Yuan when he felt a tingle in his senses and he pushed Yuan out of the way as a bolt of lightning struck the exact spot she had been in. His eyes narrowed and with a flick of his right hand, his sword appeared. He swiftly fought the lightning and sealed the Card, revealing The Thunder. His sword disappeared as he turned to Yuan. “Here. I entrust you with this.” he told her, presenting his bauble charm that housed his sword during his Card Captoring days. A light shone from her hand and it had changed form. “And this, you’ll need it.” He told her, handing over The Thunder. “...The Thunder...?” she whispered, not believing what had happened. “The Hunt begins...” Sakura and Syaoran spoke in unison. I’m aware the story is quite long, but all of it is quite necessary in my opinion, but I may have gotten carried away ^^;; Anyway. This is my latest RP with some help from Disenchanted. In case you didn’t get it, this is a Card Captor Sakura RP. It’s not really necessary to know a lot about the original anime, but you can contact me for info if you need help, though there’s plenty of stuff online. The main things you need to know is that there are 4 spots available, not including Disenchanted and I. 2 from Japan with Himiko, and 2 from China with Yuan. If we don’t get a lot of sign ups then we’ll probably have to reduce the number. I will be playing as Himiko, and Disenchanted’s character is Yuan. In this RP, Sakura, and Syaoran are 19 in their first year of University, but they won’t be playing large roles in this, maybe only sometimes for advice. And another note is that Touya and Yukito are 26, important because the China group will mostly be hanging around with Yukito unless his Yue form is needed, and even so it doesn’t last long because he’s not at full power. Sign Up Info Name: It has to sound like where you come from, whether it be Japanese or Chinese. Use Family Name, Given Name format. Gender: Male/Female Age: We should all be 18 or turning 18, in our final year of High School. Origin: Japan/China Sealing Weapon: Practically a good conventional weapon that you can use to fight and impale things on, so no projectiles. If I don’t think your weapon is good then I’ll let you know. You also have to mention what form your weapon takes when you’re not using it because you can’t just go around wielding a weapon, and they don’t have to look like keys. Appearance: Physical description; picture, written, or both. Personality: You can either make your personality here, or describe it in actions through the Biography. Biography: How you met Sakura/Syaoran, and when you meet them Himiko or Yuan would be with them, so make sure to remember that, so first impressions, etc. How/Why they asked you to be part of the team. Your character’s personality, skills. How you took the idea of hunting for Clow Cards. I’ll be judging a lot from this section, so make it good, ne? ^^ NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT REVEAL CLOW CARDS I think that should be all, so here’s my character. Name: Kiyoshi, Himiko “Miko(-chan)” [Key-Oh-She, He-Me-Koh] (‘Oh’ like in Octopus and ‘Koh’ in Co-operate. The ‘ey’ in Kiyoshi isn’t emphasised so it sounds more like Kyoshi and Himiko is pronounced quickly.) Gender: Female Age: 18 Origin: Japan Sealing Weapon: Scythe. Himiko’s key looks like a miniature form of the top part of her scythe. When she releases it then it grows to its full size, with a sweeping blade with a deadly sharp edge. Appearance: Here – Copyright bonnietw@deviantArt Himiko is a young woman with a lithe figure, standing at a moderate 5’6”. She has long flowing hair and stormy bluish-grey eyes which change shades depending on her mood. Often when she releases her scythe or is using/capturing a card then her eyes turn more silver which is an unexplained phenomenon but thought of as her own magical ability inside her reacting with the Clow magic. She’s a simple girl and often wears these sort of Pants (Copyright lcibos@deviantArt) [in more of a dark blue and lighter blue for the purplish areas], comfortable, stylish looking joggers, and a grungy black tank top with tears and messy art designs covering it with her small scythe pendant on leather around her neck. Biography: Himiko’s breath huffed as she swung herself around a pair of uneven bars. Her hair was pulled up into a bun so it wouldn’t get messy while she exercised. Doing gymnastics was her favourite form of exercise, but she also enjoyed running. Her brows furrowed as she continued to dwell on what had happened earlier with Sakura. She couldn’t believe that magic really existed, and that she was part of it. Himiko tensed her arms and gave a strong swing, kicking her legs up high so she could jump to the higher bar, catching onto it behind her knees and swinging before she grabbed it with her hands. She knew she didn’t have too long because Sakura said she’d call soon after making calls and talking to some people. She sighed and swung around the bar several times, dismounting after another revolution. Miko wiped the sweat from her body and sat on a bench just stopping and remembering. Himiko looked at the key-like scythe pendant in her hand. Was this really real? It definitely seemed like genuine reality. Kero fluttered beside her, looking like a cute teddy bear with wings. “So....you’re Kero-chan? You look like a bear with wings....” she said, looking at him. “I’m not a bear! I’m a guardian. My true form is of a lion.” He growled, a stress mark appearing on his forehead as he tried to keep his temper. “O-Okay...” Himiko gripped the key tightly in her palm. Kero looked down and saw her clenched fist with the leather string hanging from her hand. He rubbed his chin and looked at Sakura who had a slightly grim expression on her face. Their eyes met and she nodded to him. “Ok, Himiko. You have your weapon, now you have to learn how to use it.” “What weapon?” she questioned in confusion. “The key. It is your weapon. Now concentrate on the key in your hand and unite your power with it. Just say the first thing that comes to mind.” Kero directed, fluttering close to Sakura now. Himiko blinked and took a deep breath, concentrating, and the words seemed to flow from her mouth... “Power of two commune, Radiant Sun and Glowing Moon, Dispell the Darkness to Reveal the Light, Surrender the scythe, Clow’s force ignite, Release!” Wind whipped up around her as the key glowed and rose from her hand, swirling around and growing to reveal a large scythe. Himiko boldly reached out and grasped the staff tightly, the wind disappearing as she twirled it around her body fluidly. “Wow...this is awesome!” she cheered, grinning as she slung the weapon up to rest it across her shoulder (see the picture). Himiko was snapped out of her reminiscing by the sound of her cellphone tune, “Glamorous Sky” by NANA ringing through the gym. She picked up her phone and nodded, hanging up. Sakura was ready to search for other members of her team. She changed into her regular clothes and took down her hair before running back towards Sakura’s house. The chant I used in my Biography will be the one we all use, just putting in the name of your weapon in place of ‘scythe’. I’m quite proud of it too, since I kinda made it up with help from Disenchanted. ^^ Ok, that’s all from me for now. This isn’t first come first serve so try your best in your sign ups, k? And most importantly have fun!

OOC: Hope this is ok, Mike, Will. And in case anyone does know, I based the saddle for Apollo off the one Skybax riders use in Dinotopia. Name: Amelia de Larc Age: 27 Gender: Female Kingdom: Kingdom of Kanto Pokémon ? Type: Dragonite Pokémon ? Name: Apollo Writing Preview: Amelia sat with her long legs dangling over the edge of a cliff, inhaling the salty air deeply as she looked out over the sea. Her body was hunched over, her lithe frame was curved as her elbows rested on her knees. Her indigo gaze was drawn to the golden orb as it sunk beneath the horizon. The breeze ruffled her long, straight, dark brown hair, sending strands flying around her face. The created world was a beautiful thing, but what would be left after the war? After the battle, all the beauty she saw in nature would be tainted by bloodshed and hatred. Some ask that if she has this opinion, why did she enlist to fight? The answer is that if it is going to be tainted either way, she?d rather help the fight than sit back and wait for the inevitable. She closed her eyes and bowed her head, saying a prayer before getting to her feet, turning to look at her best friend. ?Let?s go, Apollo.? she said softly, smiling. There was nothing left for her at home any more, as the sun disappeared. The fully grown, male Dragonite nodded and knelt to allow Amelia to throw the saddle over his head and tightened the strap around his neck which rested above his wings. The seat part of the saddle hung down his back between the wings and ended above his hind legs, where she secured another strap around his belly. It wasn?t a typical saddle to sit on, but more the rider had to lie down, with their legs bent and feet braced against the holds at the bottom along the sides of the saddle and holding onto the thick sturdy strap at the top. It was a dangerous way to ride and if you lost your grip it could be the end. When she battled there was an extra strap that went across the middle of her back to hold her to the saddle for added protection. Amelia and Apollo wore light, yet extremely durable armour made of Gyarados scales and some minerals mined from Mt Moon. They were both only wearing their chest plates because wearing their full suits was too heavy and inconvenient. Their battle armour was the works; helmet, chainmail, full chest and leg armour, all made of the hard, light, flexible material. Amelia shifted her long sword out of the way as she mounted her partner. She tapped his shoulder lightly to signal that she was ready for him to take off. During battle this became less necessary since she was more securely strapped in. The Dragonite nodded and backed away from the edge of the cliff, before sprinting forward and leaping off, plummeting straight down, head first. Amelia grinned at the adrenaline that flowed through her veins as they continued to freefall together. The water got closer with every second, and Apollo pulled up just before they hit, speeding forward, sending water flying around them before he lifted away from the water and headed toward the Kanto mountain base. Apollo was a free spirit and he loved the skies greatly, always spinning and doing tricks while in flight. Amelia was a kindred spirit to her childhood friend, and she never experienced fear when she was flying with him. They just had that special kind of bond that couldn?t possibly be explained in words. He opened his mouth and released a loud roar. She smiled and released a roar of her own, one that she had perfected since she was young. Originally it started as just a fun thing, trying to imitate Apollo, but then it became a form of bonding between the two. ?Head to the mountain base quickly, Apollo.? Apollo made a sound of agreement and added another burst of speed to get hurry them along to their destination.
8. Sakura frowned as she contemplated all the latest happenings. Especially the reveal of the traitor, Gavin. She had suspected him due to his lack of activity in Terrorist acts but had never acted on it, and so was feeling regretful. Deciding that from this point she would work with the feelings in her gut as they weren't often wrong. And the additional loss of indifference left her in surprise. Since indifference had been their spokesperson, she hadn't expected that she of all people would transfer to the other side, making her as much of a traitor as Gavin was. The positive note of course was the new members that had been recruited. It was a good thing that they got rid of the traitors at such a stage, that was they could build up the Terrorist force stronger with those who want to work together to help. Sakura licked her lips with a gleam in her eye. She would do everything in her power to defeat the CTU scum alongside her comrades.
9. Kazuki ran, panting lightly as she risked a glance back to see the Fanbeemon gaining on the group. She turned head on, continuing to run with the others until the last moment where they were forced to confront the enemies. Their feet slapped on the concrete, hitting grass and continuing. "We can't keep this up, they're gonna catch us!" Quincy shouted, breath coming out in huffing pants. "We should just face 'em and get this over with." Michael suggested. They skidded to a stop and turned to face their foe head on, the Digimon rushing forward to meet them except for KoKabuterimon who stayed atop Alex's shoulders. Tristan pulled out his Crystal and Digivice, he took a firm stance and called out the words, "Elemental Digivolution, Engage!" He brought his hands forward and moved them together so the head of the Digivice was pointed toward the Crystal, where the Crystal was promptly absorbed into the Digivice. He felt the energy building and cupped his now empty hand over the device and felt the intense heat rolling off it in waves and pointed it at Flamon. A burst of red energy shot out from the head of the Digivice and engulfed the Digimon in flames. "Flamon, Elemental Digivolve to.......Infernodramon, the Flames of Fortitude!" The evolved Digimon emerged and burst forward in the direction of the Fanbeemon, with the other Digimon partners behind him. Kazuki watched as Lucemon charged onward with strong flaps from his wings to propel him. Falcomon, Ryuudamon, Kotemon, and Swimmon were on the move as well, throwing ranged attacks as they drew closer. The Fanbeemon dodged most of the attacks, flying up higher before diving down at an incredible speed, stingers outreached, aimed for the Digimon below. Infernodramon reared his head back, "Dragon Blaze!" as he released a a strong burst of flame that fried a large group of the oncoming Fanbeemon. Kazu watched all the Digimon, worried about their safety, and the safety of the group, because if their partners let some through they would no doubt be attacked. She heard the call of "Grand Cross" and knew that Lucemon was doing his best. The majority of the partners used their projectile attacks because the Fanbeemon used their flying advantage to stay out of range, though those that could fly gave chase as best as they could. Alex just held onto KoKabuterimon as they watched the action unfolding before them. There was no pressure of any sort from anyone for KoKabuterimon to join in the fight. Everyone had a choice of what to do, and that was to be respected. Kazuki could see Lucemon flying around, mainly working on using his ability to fly just to knock the Fanbeemon from the sky to the waiting partners below who couldn't fly and would take them out. Infernodramon ripped out large chunks of the army of bees, but they seemed endless, constantly coming. But then again regular bee colonies were made up of millions, so it kinda made sense that it could transfer, even if they were just a little oversized. Angel suddenly narrowed her eyes and turned her head. Stephen immediately asked her what was the matter but she hushed him swiftly. It appeared that she was listening for something. "There's something bigger coming..." "Bigger? As in a larger army?" Quincy questioned. All of them looked at each other, not knowing what it was. But the best bet was that it wouldn't be good either way. Then they could all hear what Angel had seemed to before them, a higher pitched buzzing than the Fanbeemon, and louder. Suddenly the Fanbeemon started to buzz at a higher pitch, yet still not the same as the new sound. The source of the sound was revealed as a new Digimon flew in. "Waspmon! Watch out, its Turbo Stinger hurts more than Fanbeemon's Gear Stinger." Swimmon commented. OOC: Bleh, post sucks. I'm rusty. Tried to involve a number of characters and stuff but doing it when I'm kinda tired. The comment by Swimmon sounds weird...
10. I'm assuming that for each set of answers the suspect keep the same number. [strike]Either way I'm mostly basing this particular speculation on the latest set of answers. I'm not really sure but I think Suspect 2 is I'm Not Nomura because I recall something about someone accidentally giving away the location of a bomb or something of the sort. For no real reason in particular I feel that Gavin is Suspect 1, leaving Raiha as Suspect 3.[/strike] As of yet I have no idea who's the traitor but I just thought I'd throw this out. EDIT: Ok, so I just took a look at the other answers and after reading the answers from the first two sets of questions I've changed my mind. My current speculation is: Suspect 1: Raiha Suspect 2: Gavin Suspect 3: I'm Not Nomura Reasons are mainly their use of language, but I can't find that the previous two rounds match with the latest because the latest makes me think that 2 is I'm Not Nomura. Argh, confused. Anyone else have ideas? >.>
11. Yeah, I don't like the One Piece dub theme, but I think there are worse ones. The YuGiOh dub theme song though. Wow, it's horrendous. It's just the music with the words 'YuGiOh' thrown in every so often along with 'It's time to duel'. And the only thing that changed with each different season were the scenes in the opening, while the music stayed exactly the same. In the Japanese version they had different songs for each season as with most anime.
12. Many of the ones I thought of have already been mentioned, including a special props to Samurai Pizza Cats. I loved that show, and I can still remember a lot about it. But one I don't think has been mentioned is Tekkaman Blade, or Teknoman in English. I truly think it was the first mecha anime I ever saw and I remember watching it with my older brother when we were young. And the series of Zoids is pretty old I think, along with the original Digimon series. Oh, almost forgot about Bubblegum Crisis 2040 as well. I watched a lot on tv when I was younger, but they don't play a wide variety in Australia, or at least where I am. But I recall also growing up with the comic cartoons; Spiderman, TMNT, Batman, etc. etc.
13. Getting stuck and frustrated in the middle of RPGs is what makes them particularly special. I totally forgot about Trauma Center. When I first got it I was soooo addicted, but there are some annoying cases that can get really frustrating if you continually can't get past them (experience). I know several of the posts are supporting Pokemon Diamond/Pearl but I'd only recommend it if you like the games. From your first post you sound a little iffy about them. Maybe if a friend has it you can ask them to play it for a little while and see how you like it. I haven't played Chocobo Tales yet but I've researched it and it sounds cute. What's better than doing missions as a Chocobo? Oh yeah, forgot to make the point if you do get Elite Beat Agents, Ouendan or Ouendan 2 you're gonna want earphones XD And I think the game Japan_86 is thinking of is Jump! Ultimate Stars or its prequel, the name has slipped from my mind. It's also in Japanese, with characters from anime featured in Shonen Jump like the ones she listed. I haven't played it so I can't tell you much other than what I've gathered about it in interest. But I have been thinking of getting it. Oh, you mentioned Sonic games, there is a DS version called Sonic Rush. I don't really like it because it can get confusing as the character falls between the two screens when you're running through each level. You either play as Sonic our favourite blue hedgehog, or the new character Blaze who is a purple cat. They both have their own abilities as usual, different to one another and face the stages in different orders. There's a few new system type things for points and stuff and gets complicated. I'm not a fan even as an avid Sonic lover, but you may want to look into it and judge it for yourself. I also forgot Cooking Mama. It's so crazy and fun. There's recipes and you have to do each step and you'll be judged at the end to see how well you did. It can be addictive. Hm, might be back later with more if I can think of them. PS. Thanks ^__^
14. *peeks head out* So does anyone (Rev, Allamorph, A_M) object terribly to me being a part of the editting team? I know we may not need three editors so as I said earlier I'm willing to do writing on the side if needed, especially if there's an area lacking. I'm bored and I don't want to study... ; - ;
15. I can definitely say I wasn't serious in my single post. I'm honestly not for bringing in a Hentai forum, but if debating for it works to distract the opposition, I'm all for it. I think everyone did a great job in their arguments because it really worked people up. Oooooh, new members~
16. Sakura was returning to her chamber after the slaughter of Premonition, an eerie smirk on her face and eyes narrowed menacingly. She heard the echo of a gunshot and an eyebrow lifted. She had no doubt that it was the other traitor of their cell, Nonentity. She shook her head in wonder at how one could possibly think of betraying their brothers in arms, let alone commit an act solidifying the proof of their betrayal. She sat on the chair in her chambers and pulled apart her gun, cleaning each section thoroughly to keep it in prime condition for when she needed it. She contemplated the two latest losses that had happened in such close proximity, their numbers were dwindling and there was still another traitor among them. Sakura leaned back in her chair, eyes staring at the ceiling of the cave and her eyes fell closed as she sighed, putting the gun back together swiftly and with the proficiency as one would with their eyes open. She snapped the last piece into place and her eyes flashed open, twirling the gun and aiming. Perfect. She trusted everything would fall into place in the end, and she had faith that they would be successful in their mission. It wouldn't be easy to find the traitor, the two that would have made the best suspects had already been slaughtered by the cell. She sighed and went into deep thought, contemplating and trying to find any possible clues.
17.
You have already included yourselves by opening a thread, so I find that argument old. Why do you all need an entire forum for something that can be discussed just as easily in the Anime Lounge? Is that not what it's there for? Instead of demanding change, why not try to improve what's already there? Spoiler tags would be an obvious muss when speaking of the more explicit scenes, but I think it's a much more fathomable solution then needing a subforum or your own forum.
To get this straight, the proposed idea is to have a password protected forum devoted to Hentai in all its shapes and forms. Yet some opposing ideas we've had is that why not just discuss it in the Anime Lounge, after all it is still classified as anime. I understand that, but at the same time so many people are saying that there are many OB members that are below the legal age to view such material which is why there shouldn't be a forum. ...Has no one else caught on to the fact that if the members who wish to discuss Hentai do do so in the Anime Lounge as suggested by JJ, it would make it even easier for underage members to view the material! If it was in the AL then NOTHING would be stopping ANYONE from looking at it. On the other hand if we actually had a separate forum with a password, those who are underage are barred from it so there won't be that worry, and those who may frequent the AL and don't want to see things about Hentai wouldn't have to. They could easily ignore it. Perhaps make it into its own section or something as ridiculous as it sounds, because then it could be folded away, like I have the Classic Otakuboards area closed because I don't go into the Archives. I know, I know, people have said that members can bypass the age restriction by giving themselves a birthdate above that age. But what problem is that of ours? That doesn't concern us because that would be the member's conscious decision to do so and to purposely lie, and if they do choose to do that, no one has any control over it whatsoever besides maybe the Admins finding out and changing it. I personally don't watch Hentai and all that, but people are being stubborn and only looking at it one way. A_M especially since you've been strongly arguing about the age of our members. And you may want to look into JJ to see if he's seriously on your side, because that had to be a post against the CTU's arguments of age. Come on, honestly, spoiler tags? How in the world is that helping in anyway?! Sure, it may protect those people who aren't into these things and somehow mistakenly come against it so that they can leave without being scarred, but it is NO WAY helping to keep people below 18 from getting to the information. And about the barely touched argument about larger graphics. Just because there will be a larger allowance on graphic images doesn't mean you have to use it. I'm sure there'll be a number of people that would still prefer to stick to their normal sized banners for the neatness, but it is slack for those who may want to display their artistic abilities more. I've been to many other forums and there have been many beautiful pieces that are larger than ours but set in a way that they don't look obtrusive or ridiculously huge. And of course there would still be a limit of some sort, like sticking with one image in your sig and the amount of characters and such so it won't turn out like the sigs in some forums where they are just pointless and muddled. And I know people have spoken about the different connection speeds. I doubt it would really change that much, and the amount of members using a 56k connection have to be a minority at this stage where there are so many different and better options. Even put a new limit on the size, but we're just asking for a stretch of some sort. We want it bigger, not massive big, but bigger so we can fit more into it. I think giving a larger exception would be great and fun.
18. I wouldn't mind working as a freelancer and/or doing some editting work because I've had experience with that type of stuff. Or if you need someone to write for a certain area then I'd be fine with doing that too, just let me know where ya want me.
19. =O Envy~ I wanna go to Japan ; - ; Uhm, to answer your question... The two Phoenix Wright games; Ace Attourney and Justice for All, are good and can keep you occupied for hours. Ace Attourney has 5 cases, while Justice for All has 4, but each case is pretty long and can take a long time to do. Hotel Dusk Room 215 isn't bad either. I enjoy it, but I can't exactly see much replay value in it. This one will also take a long time to get through I imagine as it's done in Chapters, and each chapter is also quite lengthy. It's kinda like a book. I know you didn't say it, but if you're interested in Rhythm type games check out Elite Beat Agents, or Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2. I personally love all three of these games because they're just fun and good to pass time with. If you can't tell the last two are Japanese, but you don't really need to know how to read Japanese in the game, and Elite Beat Agents is the English equivalent to Ouendan 1 which came out first of the three. I haven't played it much but Final Fantasy III could be an option. It reminds me a lot of the traditional Final Fantasy game and you gain your party of characters early so you can train them up. It's in the older style where your characters have job classes. These are just ones that I thought of from the top of my head as ones that I have. So I dunno. Have fun in Japan!
20. I'm still really interested in this but I haven't had the time to think of a topic to do a sample article on. I was wondering if there's a deadline for the articles to be sent in. I'll be free after Wednesday so I'll try to start work on one then.
21. I'm slowly reading through the Suggestions thread and will reply as soon as I can. Hey, do we get nifty banners too? ^^;;
22. Hey, this seems pretty interesting, and I need something to do to take my mind off studies. ^^ What is your element of power? Hmm.....I think I'd have to say, Aim or a good eye for details. Who taught you how to ride a bike? Uh, I think I'm the most different of everyone. I don't actually know how to ride a bike. When do ...I actually do work? .....Not often. I have a problem with Procrastination >
23. Booooored, so I guess I'll try. 1. Rurouni Kenshin 2. Samurai Champloo 3. Peacemaker Kurogane I put the last one because no one else has mentioned it. >.>
24. I really do hope that we can get a constant newspaper for OB going because I think it'd be a really big hit and I'd feel that it would be helpful, because I honestly don't frequently visit the other forums besides mainly the Arena so it'd be cool to be able to know what's new and all that. The others ideas mentioned in the thread have been great. I'm willing to offer up my services to do writing for this, after all, I'm kinda studying this type of stuff in uni so I guess it'd be a helpful experience? Do let me know if you need me in any way.
25. Hm, some interesting suggestions you have here, A_M. Sorry I don't have the time to post more, but I'll just quickly have my say. 1) I do remember this being brought up before, yes? There have been previous suggestions about stopping new members from creating threads until an amount of posts had been reached or a certain time period had lapsed, something along those lines. If I remember correctly it was voted against in the end but I can't seem to remember the arguments against it off the top of my head. I'm sure James and the like will be able to remember or at least find the details that I can't >
