I love you right now Dmitri! I really need to pay more attention to these things. And I'm going to make up a wand with a little reference to book one. I think there was something about a wand that was very good for charms...*runs off to get book* -
OOC: None of my french will have accents, so deal with it. I'll put the translations in parentheses(sp) until I get tired of it. Arielle walked out of her family's chateau, gazing imperiously at the land. One day, she would own it all. She headed for a nearby village, hoping to taunt the peasants with her abundant wealth, when a hole seemed to open in front. "Merde sainte! (Holy *****!)" she exclaimed, covering her mouth as soon as the words had left her lips. Nobles were not to use inappropriate language, that was one of the first things she had learned. She stared at the two who had come from the hole. Remembering her etiquette, she bowed to them and tried to explain herself. "Excusez ma langue. Je m'appelle Arielle de Lioncourt et c'est ma maison. Expliquez-vous, s'il vous plait. (Pardon my language. I am Arielle de Lioncourt. and this is my home. Please explain yourselves.)" When she recieved only blank looks, she repeated it again, in halted, thickly accented English.

I swear, I'm gonna finish a signup for Flitwick one of these days! If anyone knows anything about him, like background, wand type, etc., pm me. That'll help a lot. Darn short attention span. -

Charli headed for dinner. She felt a little better about making up with Clark but the thought of being replaced still made her uneasy. She saw Clark and sat with him. "I know I said I'd meet you after dinner, but something's come up. I wanted to apologize for being such a...a b*tch. I hope you forgive me."
-
"Was there something you wanted? I have to go." She looked him over. So this is the other sniping teacher. Cute, but what's the point of having him here? They must think I'm not doing a good enough job. Hmm, we'll see about that. "Would you mind if I looked in on your class tonight? I'd love to see your teaching meathods." She smiled sweetly.
-
She looked at him, blinking in her suprise. "Uhh...sure, it's a deal. I'm so glad you're staying and I'd hug you if it weren't for my pride. So," she smiled, "you should go tell Hathoway. Meet me in the gym after dinner."
-
Alicia shook hands with him. "I'm Alicia Elliot. It's nice to meet you. One more question. What's going on here?" She indicated the two men and the demon.
-
"No one has influence over me, this is my own choice. And stop calling me a maiden. I'm not helpless. Besides, the winds are under my control, not his." She looked over at Cross. "Is he really necessary? He's not being very cooperative. We could go to some time when he realizes his power, right? Wouldn't that make more sense?"
-
It's okay Dmitri. I'm thinking about letting this die and going with my original idea of writing this. It's a lot easier.
-
"Then attack me if you must. But I want to help you. I'll explain later, if you'll let me. And Demons do not exist. It's impossible." She took a fighting stance and ready herself. "Go on, then. I'm more than ready."
-
OOC: Give me some time! I wasn't online. I was drawing psychotic-looking clowns. :D Charli ignored him for few seconds, continuing to pummel the punching bag in front of her. "If you really must know, I don't want you to leave. Now if you don't mind, I have a class to teach." She brushed past him angrily and headed for her quarters.

"Thanks, and you? I do believe I won." She looked down at him, then jumped off the hood. "I want my money now." The guy looked from her to Kenny and back again. "You two cheated, I know you did! I refuse to pay anything." "Fine, I'll take my money the hard, yet fun, way." --------------- Carla walked back in and sat down. "Oh good, I'm hungry all of a sudden. Anything else happen while I was gone?" "No. Why?" "Just wondering." She started eating, keeping her eye on Xu and Win.
-
"Boys, I'd like to be paid NOW!" Charli glared at them from the hood of her car. "You can stop arguing and pay me." ------------- Carla shrugged. "I've grown up around racing, mostly on the pro level. But street racing is a lot more real. I like it more. Does that answer your question?" She looed over at Win and Xu. Whe had found two of the racers there. They were giving them odd looks. "I'll be right back." She got up and went out to her car. She had a feeling she was going to need a little more money than she had on her.
-
It wasn't exactly what she had meant, but it didn't matter. He got into his own car and she followed him to a japanese restaurant. They walked in and sat down. She looked around. At least four people here had to be racers. "May I take your order?" Carla looked up at the waitress. "Oh, I'll have tea and fried rice. That's all." She drifted into her own world as Magic ordered.
-
They played again and, again, she let him win. He looked at her suspiciously, but she smiled sweetly. "Ya know, I don't feel much like playing this anymore. You wanna do something else?"
-
"Hmm...then, I'll take Jin." They waited a few seconds for it to load then started to play. Halfway through, she let him win. She didn't want to embarass him anymore. When it was over, she shrugged. "Win some, lose some, I guess."

She smiled. "Wanna try and beat me in Tekken? You might have more of a chance." She smiled and opened the passnger door for him. ----------- Charli slowed to a stop andlooked back at Kenny. She took off the headphones and was about to get out. That might not be such a good idea. Why'd he let me win anyway? Sympathy? She sighed and got out. "I want my money. Now." She sat on the hood of her car and waited for everyone to pay up.
-
"Finally!" She pulled up next to Kenny and prepped, plugging in her headphones and turning on TLC's Dirty Dirty. No one else had to know what she was listening to, for once. A minute later, the flag dropped and everyone took off. She passed two in the first three seconds, and the other two a few seconds later. Her only real competition was Kenny. Suddenly, one of the cars sped past her. Cursing, she flipped a switch, using one of her NOS tanks. It wasn't enough, so she used two more. She heard a small beep above the music. She glanced at the flashing message on the laptop screen. NOS levels low, One tank left. Great, I'm going to lose, unless... Keeping her foot on the gas as hard as she could, she flipped the last switch, hoping it was enough to win.

"Where can I buy from them?" she muttered under her breath. "And that's why we're doing this in the first place, right? We should call John for back up." She pulled out her cell phone and looked through the address book. She fond his name and dialed. She waited a few seconds, then hung up angrily. "His phone's not on. So, when do I get to race?"
-
Charli sighed. "Kenny, you dragged me away from one race to go to another? You really need to think more before you do ***** like that." She was about to leave when he stopped her. "What now?" ---------------- Carla jumped in her car and turned on her PS2. She put in Madden 2003 and tried to find someone online to play with. It didn't take long. She smiled. She might not be the best racer, but she could still play football better than anyone she knew, even if it was just a game.

Alicia held up her blade, blocking him easily. "I don't know what you're talking about. Angels are myths." Just like demons... She thought about it for a second, unconsciously blocking every one of Andrew's attacks. Maybe I am a Fallen Angel. It would explain a lot. But why don't I remember anything? "All I want to know is what's happening. If you tell me that, then you are more than welcome to try and kill me."
