Well. Your friend is certainly dumb for trusting anybody on the net. She's going to travel all the way to a country she's more than likely never been to to meet a guy she's never met in person. What if she does meet him and he turns out to be some thousand pound pedaphile who's 40 years old. That will one break her heart and two it will put her in more danger than she's already in. Or what if this guy comes searching for her. You'll be amazed at how far men will go just to get laid. This is a very very stupid move on your friends part and if I were you I'd do everything in my power to stop her. If you're her friend you'll know what you must do to keep her safe. That's what friends do.

Matt held out his hand to Chris to help him up. "So. Why'd you break into my house fella," Matt asked. Chris looked to Matt and remembered Alex. "Oh shit. I totally forgot about Alex," he said. "Please. You've gotta help me. My friend is in the elevator and he needs help badly," he said. Matt nodded. "Kyle. Come on," he yelled. Kyle came running into the room. "What," he questioned. Matt just motioned for him to follow. The four left the apartment and walked into the hallway. Chris hurried down the hall in the lead. He turned to the elevator and clicked the button for it to open. The door slid open.
-
Matt's head jerked up. His hand seemed to have a mind of it's own as it immeadiatly grabbed a lamp off of the table next to him. He slowly made his way to the door. Eathan followed him slowly. The voice wasn't very clear. Chris stepped into the room and shut the door behind him. Matt drew close to the door that entered the main hallway. Chris reached for the handle. Eathan pointed. "Look." The handle was slowly turning. Matt held the lamp up above his head. Chris slowly opened the door. He saw the lamp and a guy with an angry face. Matt swung. Chirs saw the lamp and ducked. "Whoa!! Hold on there dude," he yelled. Eathan grabbed Matt. "He's not one of them. Hold on," he yelled.

Matt called again. "Hey Eathan. Kyle. Are you guys there," he yelled. Again there was no response. Matt slowly slipped away from the fridge and stepped foot by foot into the main room. Kyle and Eathan sat in front of the television. There eyes wide and filled with horror. Matt walked closer. He saw the screen. On the screen scenes of death at the hands of the mechumans kept replaying. A boy's throat was slit and his body was pushed into a fire. A women's face was pounded with bullets and blood splattered everywhere. Who had gotten these shots? Matt stood up and without reluctancy he switched off the tv. "C'mon guys. Let's eat," he said. His voice seemed to be stunned.

OOC: Yeah. I Just PMed you about this...post. Please sign up first. Thanks. IC: Matt opened the door to the apartment. He looked around. Papers were scattered all over the ground and his bed was a mess. "Heh. Sorry. I'm not one you would call clean," he said. Seems like I'll never find a place that's no screwed over and messy now. He let Kyle and Eathan in and shut the door and locked it. "Are you guys hungry," he asked. Kyle nodded almost violently. Eathan shrugged. Matt went into the next room over and began looking for something high in energy content. He slowly opened the door to the fridge. A couple cockroaches scurried away as the fridge light flicked on. There was two day old spaggetti. He kept looking. "Do sandwhiches sound okay," Matt called. There was no response.

I'd have to choose Final Fantasy 9. Sure 10 had it's awesome graphics and was the first to have voice overs but I couldn't stand Tidus or Riku. FF9 has Vivi man. And Vivi kicks serious arse. I know why alot of people dislike 9. It's a return to the old Final Fantasy games with kingdoms and castles. But that's what made the original games great wasn't it. 9 also had characters that you could easily relate to. You've got the funny girl obsessed Zidane, the depressing Vivi, the protective Stenier, and the tomboy Garnet/Dagger. It's a very emotional game because of the character relationships that are made.

Alright. I have this problem. I really like this girl and I'm pretty sure that she likes me too. Then there's these other guys that like her and she likes to flirt with them too. I really want to start dating the girl but I just don't know how to get her mind of the other guys and on me. Does anybody have any good suggestions.

Matt noticed the man squirming around in the elevator. "Are you okay," he asked. Kyle's expression was full of confusion. Eathan looked at the two. "Yes," he said. He slowly but surely stood upright trying harder than ever to hide his pain. Matt held out his good hand to Eathan. "You're hurt. Let me help you out," he said. Eathan looked at his hand for a second than took it and helped himself up the rest of the way. "What's your name," Kyle asked from behind Matt. Eathan looked at the child. "It's Eathan," he said. He looked to Matt as if he were asking the same question. "My name's Matt. Nice to meetcha'," Matt said replying to Eathan's expression.

Where to begin. Gah. First off we have my Step father. He's a little too social towards strangers. He's new to the state and has already made more friends than my mother, myself, and my brother. He hates my friends and just has too much initiative. And he's a nerd so it embarasses me when he's in public acting like he's shooting electricty out of his fingers. Next we have my compulsive mother who I have to fight to no ends to do anything. If I say anything she suspects something. My brother isn't very social. Nobody really gets him becuase he doesn't have very much control. It's either that or I'm a nervous older brother. My grandpa is an athiest for some unknown reason. More than likely it has something to do with the death of my biological grandmother and my uncle ditching the family. My uncle I've only met once, maybe twice, I'm not sure. I really don't understand him so I can't go into detail but he doesn't keep in contact with us and so I suffer the loss of not knowing my two cousins under him very well. My other cousin is obsessivly compulsive and went through alot in high school. He's pretty cool but he likes being involved in heavy drama. When we were kids I stole his dress shoes from him and he stole them back and then i stole them from him again and we went on and on for no reason at all. I have other insane family members. Too many to list.

Well. I saw it for a second time today and I agree with you Dagger. The dialogue was pretty crappy. I haven't really thought of the whole character chemistry thing up until now but it does make sense. They try too hard to act like they're friends and the movie sucks. After I got out I watched Phantom Menace which didn't really reveal anything to me. All I found was that Darth Maul as usual looked cool and I was sitting there yelling kill Palpatine while he's not expecting it. I can't seem to find any good transitions between the trilogies but than again I haven't seen the Original Trilogy since III came out so I wouldn't know.
Yeah. Tarkin appeared when Vader and Palpatine were watching the cosntruction of the Death Star. He was standing there right next to them and then turns around.
I was amazed though.
At the end the death star is being built.
So it takes 18 years for the empire to complete the building of the first death star yet in Return of the jedi they finish it in little more than a year.

The Dead The dark blood stains on his shirt only personified how much Matt had been through in the past couple hours. His hand was wrapped in some toiler paper which had become very dirty over time. The glum sky above made it an even more depressing town. Such a lively town before the events that had left it in ruins, Red City had been destroyed be that which was created to keep it from that fate. Matt looked into the sky. He had no expression on his face and only stared blankly into the sky. Cars were pilled up everywhere. Damaged buildings and broken windows went along. The feel was very filthy. His apartment wasn't too far off from his current location and there he could more than likely find the resources he would need to fix up his injured hand and find some more survivors to work with. Matt turned the corner which his apartment complex has located to see a ragged little boy going through the garbage bins next to the door. The child lifted his head out from the bin holding a half eaten apple, looking at it like it was gold. He was covered in filth and his clothes seemed to be ripped. Matt made a small motion. The boy's head perked up and he noticed Matt. "Get away!" he yelled covering the apple. "You can't have it becuase I found it!" Matt eyed the boy. How sad it was to see a child in this condition. "Don't worry. I'm not going to take your apple," Matt said putting a smile on his face. Slowly he took a step forward to see how the child would reacte. What would be his next question. "What's your name?" Matt asked. The boy was reluctant to give out his name although the man didn't seem to be threatening. "First you tell me your name," he said in his immature high pitched voice. Matt nodded. "It's Matt," he replied. "Matt huh. My name is Kyle." "Why are you scavenging through the trash Kyle?" Matt asked. This question seemed to hit Kyle hard. "My parents were killed yesterday. I can't get back in my house without them. And I don't want to travel back across the town with all the mechumans around," Kyle said. Matt smiled. "Come on in. I've got some food in my apartment," he said. Kyle's face seemed to brighten up at these words. "Really!" he exlaimed. Matt nodded. He went to the door a took out his key and opened the door. Kyle was quick to rush into the apartment complex's lobby. The lights were out. Matt went to switch on the lights. They flickered and then came on. A small candy machine stood next to an elevator. Kyle quickly ran over to it and to Matt's surprise he smashed the glass and started taking all the bags and bars of candy he could. Matt clicked the up button the elevator. "C'mon kid. We gotta keep going," Matt said.

I just saw it. I agree with you. The
scene where Yoda fights Palpatine with the Duel of Fates theme is a heart pumper
There are so many things in this movie that you just look at and say "Hey. I've seen that in another movie."
And that Tarkin in the end was a cheap rip off of the one in Episode 4. His ears were way to pointy
As for the whole darth thing. I'll give a small explanation about the title as well as how it's related to the rule of 2. The title of darth has been passed down from the main sith lords for over a millenium. It started with that of Darth Bane. Weather or not the Bane in this one is the same as in KOTOR is unknown. Darth was Bane's true name. Bane lived during Lord Kaan's leadership of the sith. Kaan tried to kill Bane and thoguht he had but Bane survived. Kaan found Bane alive but spared him and let him sit on his council. Bane tried to rally the sith lords togethor to destroy Kaan's true enemy: The army of light. But the sith lords became afraid when they found a deep fearsome hatred in Bane's heart. Lord Kaan brought on his own way to dipose of the Army of Light but in doing so all beings within the perimeter of the thought bomb he used were killed, including his own people. Bane was the only one who survived. Bane fled to to the Ruusan moon known as Dxun. he found the tomb of Freedon nadd who led the infamous Exar Kun to evil. He found a sith holocron containing ancient data on the sith. Bane was consumed by parasites called Orbalisks which fed him adreneline and created armor across his body. When Bane emerged from the tomb he had a new thoery regarding the force. The force was being manipulated by too many of the dark side. Bane created the rule that the sith would never number more than two and one would be the master while the other was the apprentice. Bane found an apprentice and dubbed him a sith name beginning with Darht which would become a tradition spread downwards to each succesor. I hope this explains it for you.

You know. I doubt this is the Gameboy they were talking about that was supposedly supposed to beat the PSP. I mean. GBA currently inferior to the PSP and by making this it's obvious that all they want to do is fill in the gaps that were either lost by the PSP or get those who didn't buy the original GBA or the SP to buy something cheap. Again remember how Nintendo released a smaller version of the original gameboy called gameboy pocket before releasing the Gameboy Color. This could be the same situation. This has no chance in beating the PSP which is Nintendo's aim. It's a marketing scheme created to generate profit for the following Gameboy. I won't be dishing out $50 for this primarily becuase SP is working perfectly for me and has a wider screen. In my opinion it's worth the money to those who don't own a GBA system but not for those veteran GBA players.

Alright this is awesome. Now if we could get some female characters to join that'd be awesome. Thanks for signing up all 3 of you and you're all accepted. If you could help me get some more members for this rp than I'd be very grateful. And like I said, here's my sign up. Name: Matt Reed Age: 18 Description: About 6' and 150 pounds. We wears a plain ripped black tank top and some long green camoe shorts. He wears a black wristband on his right hand and wears a chain on his left side. He wears skate shoes. He has two tattoos. One is his left arm below his shoulder of a very detailed dragon and his other is of a hooded figure holding a lantern on the back of his right calve. Background: Matt is finishing his high school. His peers would call him a bit of a psychopath. He likes hard rock and dressing trashy and out of the popularity scheme. He's not all that popular among the big social groups of the school but he's cool with his own friends. He's somewhat of a leader but his judgement can be impared from time to time. He lives to be different. Social Rank: Citizen

Yeah. I know what you're talking about. There's a genre that's a slight deviation from Folk Metal. Grunge Metal. There's also Grunge Punk which is besiclly rednecks trying to rap. Grunge metal is rednecks trying to do some deathmetal.

I might as well. I'm just saying that it would be nice to have a place soley devoted to battles again only amped up like the Adventure Square. At the very least I would like to see a battle inn of some sort where we can set up battle sign ups seperatly.
-
Alright. I'm up for bringing the battle arena back but there are some things that need to be changed about it from before. I read through some of the battles back then and it was disgusting to say the least. Why? It was full of spam and there was so much god moding in it that it wasn't even funny. Back on my old message board Xionbox I had quite a few members who were extremely interested in battling. One in particular member was a problem becuase he didn't understand the meaning of no god moding and would exceed the limits set. This became increasingly annoying and I ended up banning the member after several warnings and punishments. I realized that this was a problem because he was creating only fights were he challenged people.
I don't see the need to have the Battle Arena back, personally. It was taken away becuase of all the threads posted such as: i challeng 2 batul!
I believe this was becuase battles attract noobies and noobies can act dumb at times. I don't know how the battle arena was set up but I don't believe there was a subforum for battle sign ups. I think if we try to bring back the battle arena we should make it similair to the Adventure Square and Adventure Inn. We could ban battles that were challenges and instead have such classifications in the sign up as to how many people can join. I've found that battles where there's a well constructed backstory and motive for fighting do succesful without any traces of god moding. I'm serious about bringing the battle arena back. I want the administration to really consider this. Give the battle arena a seocnd chance.

I'm into horror metal like the infamous Rob Zombie and Wednesday 13 as well as Ozzy and Cradle of Filth. There's alot of different forms of metal out these days. There's just basic metal than you've got black metal and death metal which are both similair only death is the screaming banging heads thing you hear and black is screaming, banging heads, with a very instrumental influence. Us kids who like such bands as Mudvayne, Static X, and Slipknot don't like just plain metal. This is a new phenomenon known as Nu Metal where you're just plain trashy. Than you have old school heavy metal like the bands Sean pointed out. There's also Industrial like TaTu and Rammstein which sing in a totally different language. There's so many forms these days it's funny.

I don't know about all the rest of you out there but I'm looking forward to the sequel to one of the goriest movies ever. The Devils Rejects, the sequel to House of 1000 Corpses is coming sometime this summer and I'm dying of anticipation. Apparently The Firefly family is on the run from a vigilante officer after the murder of those teens and his own brother on Halloween. Both movies were written and directed by the heavy metal master Rob Zombie. Here's the Official Website

I believe the most annoying game character in the history of all games to be Amy Rose from the Sonic games. In the original games like Sonic CD she couldn't talk and that was a good thing becuase these days her high pitched voice and her attraction to Sonic just piss me off. I seriously was hoping that Sonic would just leave her to be killed or something in Sonic Adventure.

I graduate in 07. I think that it's both a depressing and happy moment in your life when you graduate becuase you're leaving all your friends that you've grown up with behind. I've lived in my town for my entire life and leaving high school is going to be hard on me becuase I know I'll never see any of the people I grew up with again. On the other hand it's another step into adulthood. No more high school drama. If you're going to college it's going to be a much more mature sense and it will be entirly different from your previous learning experiences. Much more of an enviroment that one can learn in succesfully. I'm looking forward to graduating two years from now. I tell everyone who's not graduating to cherish your time in high school. It's the last time as a true kid.

I'm okay with Bodom. They're music sounds unique but it gets boring like kakashi said. They've got some creepy lyrics though which is awesome. That's cool that they're coming out with a new album and I'll definetly check it out when it's released.

38 military bases to be closed in the US
Box Hoy replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
You see, the problem with Bush is that he may tell us what he's doing and the benefiets but he really leaves up to us to see the negatives and then he realizes what he has done and trys to compinsate by repeating the process. Those losing their jobs will have tons of experience in themilitary to find another job at a still open base or continue on with their lives. We can only hope that the 40 Billion goes to something other than the war like schools or social security.
