Anime The gundam Question and Answer thread.
Rockstar Haruko replied to Domon's topic in Otaku Central
Thirty children...wow.... Maybe that's why Quatre's so sensitive? I don't know. Qautre's cool. I guess I must have missed that part when they were explaining his sisters. That is kind of freaky. But what about Trowa? There's got to be more to him than just being a nobody who one day got to take over someone's gundam. I like missed a huge portion in the episodes. Cry for me! Cryyyyy!! -
Childhood memories-funny stuff
Rockstar Haruko replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Where do I begin? Hm... I remember this like it was yesterday. I was real little and was looking in the mirror. My mother was lying in her bed with my younger brother. So, for some odd reason, I decided that I wanted to cut my hair. I had long hair and they were in two plaits on either side of my head. I cut off an entire plait and flushed it down the toilet. You can't imagine how mad m mother was. I thought it was funny. Then there was this one time where my brother had stuck his tongue in a socket (he was a toddler) that my mom must have missed when she was trying to hide them from him because he was aways trying to stick his finger in them. One day she fussed at him and told him not to stick his fingers in them anymore. I guess, he was thinking, "she didn't tell me not to touch it with my tongue." She said he kind of like froze and his hair stayed on the top of his head for a while. Wow. We were really stupid. -
No, no, no, no, no.... Swing Swing by the American Rejects! I love that song!!! Most of my friends look at me like, 'how can you like that?' I can't help it! And I don't usually like new punk bands, (I think that's what you call them. Correct me if I'm wrong.) but they're an exception! I wouldn't buy their CD though. *shrugs*

Gunsmith Cats? That anime is like highly influenced by American... um... things. I think the setting even takes place in America somewhere. If I'm wrong then just ignore me. I'm sleepy.

The Grinch and The Cat in the Hat look exactly the same though now that I think about. The only thing different about them is that the Grinch is green. Wouldn't it be cool if the Grinch and the Cat were twin brothers? They could be.

But the limitations would signify that we don't have freedom of speech and yes, there was something like this earlier. ^_^ So it all boils down to this. There is no real freedom pf speech. At least that's what it seems like. People can say whatever they want, but if they say the wrong thing at the wrong time and in the wrong place, then it could cause trouble. People should just watch what they say and take into consideration what other people would feel about their statements. I mean... it's just that simple, but people don't seem to understand that.

I TOTALLY LOVED IT! This one was definately the best one yet! I loved your rhyming scheme and what you were talking about. You really have an open mind and are very imaginative! Great work! Keep sharing your poems!

I can't wait for the Cat in the Hat to come out either. I just hope they don't mess it up. No offense, but How the Grinch Stole Christmas was kind of lame. I thought that there would be more comedy in it or something. It was sweet, but by the time it was over, I was snoring.

Firsties--Anyone here a fan of Linkin Park
Originally posted by Fate I know the songs by heart. I sing them all the time, you know, minus the screaming. My voice isn't used to a vocal rape.
Speaking of the screaming in their songs, I read in a magazine that the main singer guy gets sick from all the singing. It said that he ruptured something or something like that. I don't know. I just know that he gets sick cause he's constantly screaming his words in their concerts. -
Anime The gundam Question and Answer thread.

Gundam Wing movies, eh?:therock: I wonder what they would be about. I mean, it seems like the G-guys are done, right? I mean after Endless Waltz and everything it just seems like there's nothing left. Oh! But maybe someone else tries to take over the colonies later on in the guys' lives and they have children and their children have to fight, and they use even newer mobile suits called...I don't know, Kodomo gundams or something and they defeat the enemy. HA! Now that's a gundam story. I'm so silly. And so ahead of myself. -
Originally posted by Katana [ Those are really all I can think of for the moment. So, my answer is... Anime is in Japan and cartoons are in North American, and since Teen Titans is an anitoon, it's in the Pacific Ocean. ^^
:laugh:This was hilarious! I couldn't help but laugh when I read this one, but it's so true. Funny, but true... whew. I needed a good laugh.

Let's also not forget that Japanese animation was influenced by American animation. I can't remember where I read it, but little details on Disney characters, like the big eyes (i.e. The Little Mermaid, Bambi), were adopted into anime. So I don't think that it's right to say whether something like Teen Titans is "wannabe" or not. Both kinds of animations have borrowed something from each other. They're even.

My aunt is eight years older than me, but she is my best friend. I hang out with her all of the time and we have the same interests. Her friends are my friends and my friends are hers. I'm close with all of my family members, but I think that she is the only one that I'm really really close with. I can talk to her about anything and if I tell her a secret, she will never tell it to anyone unless I say its ok. I always go to her for advice in everything. I don't know what I'd do if anything were to ever happen to her.

Oh that game is sooo fun!! I love playing it. I think I'm addicted to it because you have like goals you have to meet and stuff and you're trying to get all the drivers and streets. I also like how the cars drive. Their so smooth. I usually use either Homer or Grandpa mostly because their cars are the only ones I can handle without crashing or something. Their both pretty funny too, but I think Mr. Burns is funny. I like how he always has some little comment when you get done picking up people and stuff. That game is cool.

It's good that we have Freedom of Speech. This way everyone can express what they feel. Sadly, some people abuse this privilege. KarmaOfChaos set it out straight. If a person doesn't want to listen to something then they don't have to, but people can, on the other hand, practice self-control. Just because a person feels the need to make fun of a group of people and their religion doesn't make it all right for them to do so. To me, there's a time and a place to say certain things. Some people are just ignorant.

I am absolutely in love with False Salvation. That poem is touching and has a lot of meaning in my life also. I just don't have anything to say about it. Winderful work, Arasoi. Oh yeah, nice use of words too. They are part of what makes your poems so great.

G Gundam was all right. I tried to watch it, but I couldn't get into it. I ended up leaving it alone. The animation was cool too. Not too good, but I'll give it credit. After that I just stuck to Gundam Wing and Gundam 8th MS Team.

I just don't understand why Goku's uniform will be blue instead of orange. I mean, that's what makes Goku!! Orange is the color you see him in most of the time!!! I looove how Piccolo will look. It's perfect. He looks just like the animated Piccolo. I was afraid to look at first because sometimes people are picked for the wrong parts.

I have three favorite moments. 1. When Goku first did the Spirit Bomb on planet Namek. It was so cool!! I don't know what made me love that part, but the music went well with it and the way Goku was looking. It was just Great!! I couldn't wait for him to unleash it on Frieza. 2. The second was when Goku was on King Kai's planet, when he died the first time. He had to train under King Kai. It was very funny, I thought. The way he couldn't tell a joke and when he had to chase bubbles. *sigh* just wonderful. 3. The last one was when Vegeta came back to earth after the planet Namek thing and Bulma gave him a pink shirt to wear. I couldn't believe it. That also goes into my other favorite moment when Trunks came from the future and told Goku about the androids. That episode was silly, and it kind of shocked me, too. Those are my favorites! Um... was I supposed to name only one? sorry.

I think they just kick back, relax and have a good time. I remember seeing some Saiyans on a movie I have about the history of Goku or Bardock (one of'em) and they were in a bar, drinking and partying. They were acting like there was not a care in the world. I'm not saying that that's how all the Saiyans were, but there's a possibility. They all seemed rough and mean like a fight could break out at any moment over nothing. Other than that, it's probably just sex, sleep, eating, training. Basically, what everybody else said.

This is really good. Yeah. I could tell you were a little angry, but sometimes we jsut have to let things out. I do that a lot in my poems too.

Hey, Magical Girl. You're embarrassed to say you like Christina Aguilera (don't know either)? I really like her. I think she can really sing. Her image though sucks. I don't know. Maybe all girl popstars start to shed clothing after a while. The Madness Must Stop!!!!

I love AMV's, but then again, I love anything that's animated and has music to go along with it. Especially Fantasia(2000)!!!!! But anyway, their great. Wonderful. Just wonderful.

I was watching Blue Gender, but it was going no where. I mean, the episodes I saw were kind of boring. They were only about Yuji and the blonde-haired girl (can't remember her name) walking around in the desert and Yuji was still getting on her nerves. So I haven't really been watching it. Maybe I should start back.
