He is currently seeking someone he can hold on to, as both the gang and the crew were destroyed. It isn't very hard to make him go all crazy, due to some serious messed up toys in the attic. His insane special is: Electro Shock Hair: Blue Skin: Medium tan Eyes: Orange Stature: A little larger than a normal human, but he looks the part. mental descp: VERY unstable, but also very dependable. Name: "Orange" Maxamillian Sex: Male Age: 19 Race: Cyborg (eyes can magnify for small circuit work, also they can help him in fights, because they let him see what his opponent is capable of, and are also good for analasys and aiming.) Hair: Orange and short... think Strawberry from "Bleach" (see attatchment) Eyes: Amber. Skin: Tanned. Build: Medium-Large. Has large-ish stature, but not the whole absolutely muscle bound thing. Clothing: White shirt, blue jacket, and nifty baggy brown khaki pants. Also wears spiffy Spike style goggle/sunglasses. When he must, he wears a sort of desert cloak, for keeping out of sight, or just avoiding sand deterioration to his clothes. Weapon of Choice: He uses guns and bombs. After all, with eyes like his, aim comes first-nature. Vehicle: He usually uses a motorcycle. Speed: Excellent, Maneuverability: Excellent, Armor: Very Poor Vehicular Weaponry: None on the motorcycle. He prefers using his own guns on it. Likes: Tiny details, machines, girls, adventure, challenges. Dislikes: Extremes, elitists, stuck up people, monotony. Bio: A mechanic. He used to be blind, but with new technology (that he created) he can see through bionic eyes. His general attitude towards life is carefree, but he has a very serious side to him, especially when it comes to tiny details. His skills as a mechanic have been said to be unrivalled. He likes mutants, humans, and robots around the same. He has been looking for some good excuse to leave the shop for awhile... Political Alignment/Reputation: Vigilante Anti-Mechanoid League: Very disliked, but still useful. Orange doesn't mind them. Domo Faction: Neutral, but still useful. Orange thinks they are too rock solid. Robotica: Likes him, but still useful. Orange thinks that Robotica needs to be more tolerant. Mutants For a Better Life: Do not dislike him, but still useful. Orange likes mutants, as in his view, they are extremely trustworthy. Prospectors/Merchants: Good terms, and very useful. Orange needs these guys to sell to. Vigilantes: Loved, and incredibly useful. Orange gives discounts to vigilantes. Righteous Lightning: Neutral, but still useful. Orange thinks they are too reactive. If people want upgrades, they can use my character. Maru was astounded. He stood gaping at the robot for quite some time. Rikki practically had to drag him off. It was then that Maru noticed something. He thought someone was watching... but he couldn't really tell. Plus, he didn't want to get in a fight with a human with Rik around. She might get sad again... He stopped resisting, and called his vespa to him. IT's time she and took a drive... just a nice, peaceful drive... he thought. "Get on." he said kindly. She sat behind him, and clutched him so she wouldn't fall off. He drove off with her for awhile. They didn't really talk a lot, but there was a long conversation. All that wasn't said that needed to be said was said. He stopped by his apartment and Rik got off of the vespa. Maru followed, whispering for it to go park itself. There was a series of crashes coming from the parking garage, and a car flew out of the building, but Maru knew that it had gotten where it needed to go. Maru stood with Rikki for awhile. He took her hand, and guided her up the stairs to his apartment. He reached his door and reached for the knob. He realised that Rikki was looking at him. "What?" He asked. She looked off. "Nothing. Hey, I still need somewhere to stay. Do you think I could stay with you for awhile? Just until I find somewhere I can sleep?" She looked at him, pleadingly. Oh, how Maru hated it when she did that. She only did it because she knew he had a soft spot for it. "Fine. You can stay as long as you like, but only if you promise me you'll try to find somewhere close when you move..." he paused. The akwardness of his statement had just occured to him. "Not like I CARE or anything..." "Thanks!" She said, kissing him on the cheek. She grabbed the keys from Maru, and walked inside. "A...Auri?" Maru said to himslef stiffly.

OOC: Since people need to get into a story... Humans now must choose an allegiance. Choose one of these: Medical Mechanical UEDO Alien Galactic Security Force Aliens now must choose an allegiance. Choose one of these: Destroy (Earth) Control (Earth) Save (Earth) Pirate (With Atomsk) Galactic Security Force Seeker (Of Atomsk's power) Okay. I'll start the snowball. Let's make this an avalanche, people. IC: Maru walked out with another paycheck. He was greeted by Rikki, who was waiting for him by his vespa. "Hey, Rik. What's up?" He said. "Medical Mechanical has just decided to take action." Rikki said with a groan. "Oh SH+T!" Maru swore. "Rik, there's something you and I need to do. NOW." They got on the vespa, and drove off swiftly. Maru knew where he was going. He drove full speed towards a building near the center of town. A bakery. This is where all of the incidents involving Haruko and the kid started. He parked, and ran inside. Rikki followed immediately after him. OOC: Sonofdragon, I really hope you don't mind, but I'm going to need to kind of overrule your post. For the sake of the storyline! IC: They ran down a flight of stairs, and saw the creepy Gothic Kid sitting in the corner. The boy looked at them with much curiousity. "How did you know I was here?" he said plainly. He looked Maru over, then looked over Rikki. Then the sirens came. White smoke came pouring out of the Medical Mechanical building. The Gothic Kid clutched his head. "A-...Aaaa.....AGH!!!!!" A horn protruded from his head. It kept growing. Suddenly, the horn began to take shape. It turned somewhat blue. "Damn! It's coming!" Maru yelled, taking Rikki by the arm out of the building. There was a roar, and then a large blue monster came out of the building. It looked kind of like a ball on three large, metallic legs. The ball, unfortunatley had teeth. Many, many teeth. Maru drew his Rickenbacker. He held it out to his side by the long neck. He put the head of the bass under his foot, and pulled the motor string. The Guitar began to vibrate and make noise. He held the guitar above his head. "YOU WANT SOME OF THIS!?" he yelled, somewhat cliche. *"Advice" starts playing* Maru leaped into the air, and swung. The guitar made contact and dented the creature. He jumped back, and watched in horror as the creature fixed the dent by sucking in some air. The Kid walked out from the ruins of the bakery. He stopped, suddenly yelling some name, it sounded like "Canti". Wait...Canti? Maru thought. The green robot jumped out of the rubble and ran toward the monster. It slammed into the monster, making a sickening noise as the monster kicked it backwards with one of its legs. The dent fixed itself. The robot looked angry, which is hard for someone with a TV for a head, mind you, and turned around and ran to the Gothic kid. A mouth came out of the robot's stomach, and swallowed him up. The robot turned red again. Atomsk's symbol came up on its screen. It started to change. It turned into a large cannon, and fired a shot. The ball came out and pierced the blue monster, and made a hole. The monster began to rapidly deflate. Its legs, however, were a different story. They kept moving, and ran away. Maru and Rikki followed them and lost them around a corner. The ball came back, and impacted into the ground. It made a small crater, in which the Creepy Gothik kid appeared. ------------------ I Can feel it. It is almost time for me to arise... Thought Atomsk.

"Huh. What a weird dude." Maru looked at his Rickenbacker. "Man, only an alien weapon could possibly have taken out one of my strings..." he said as he busied himself with repairing the string. He got it out and replaced it quickly. "Whew!" He said, re-tuning it. Once it was tuned, he played a riff, just to see if it would need any more tuning. Good, I'm not getting rusty. he said. It has been quite awhile since I've fought last... oh well. Time to go home. He noticed that he was being followed. He spun aroud quickly just in time to see absolutely nothing. He heard footsteps coming. Maru smiled and pulled the motor string on his guitar. It revved into action, and Maru swung it around his head, making as much noise as possible. The footsteps began to become confused. Maru grinned wider. He whistled under the noise. The vespa came, and Maru hopped on. He drove quickly towards the footsteps. He saw a person, and tried to hit him, but missed. The man had stepped out of the way. "Sh+t!" Maru cursed. He drove off, just trying to avoid fighting for now. He got into his apartment building. He took out his keys, and entered the room. He turned on the lights, and saw that, yet again, Rikki had decided to crash at his place. He got closer to Rikki. "Hey, Rikki. You know that if you keep staying here overnight, you'll have to start paying some of the rent!" He smiled, and Rikki woke up. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. "M-Maru..." She said groggily. "What's up?" "You're what's up! You always sleep here! Why is it you can't get your OWN apartment? Something next door or something?" He scolded her, in a friendly sort of way. "Hey. So what happened tonight?" "I bagged for over ten hours straight... I'm tired... I need some sleep, Maru." She said, straightening up. She stretched out all over the couch. "Come on, can I crash here tonight? Please?" Maru sighed. "Alright." He said. Rikki smiled, and stood up off of the couch. Maru took off his jacket and threw it into an obscure corner of the room. "So, Rikki. What's been going on since last night?" Rikki moved a little closer to him, and gave a report about the happenings at Meta-Mechanica. "Damn... Haruko really screwed stuff up for us... Falling for that human boy... and that space pirate." He remembered the events of last night. "So, Maru... How have you been keeping?" She got steadily closer. "I've been fine. Except..." Maru looked off. "Except I think that pesky space pirate is back here again. Atomsk..." Maru imagined what it would be like to wield the power of the legendary space pirate Atomsk. He looked on the counter. He had found Haruko's bracelet some days before. The thing that was different about it was that the chain link was standing stright up... He ignored it and looked into Rikki's eyes. She looked at him with intense curiousity. "What?" Maru said with a laugh. "You fought today, didn't you?" She sounded somewhat angry. "Yeah, I saw another alien. Apparently Wettuk is getting impatient..." Maru smiled. "He put up a surprisingly good fight..." Maru remembered that Rikki was a pacifist of sorts, and didn't like it when he got in fights. She seemed somewhat more concerned today. She looked very distressed at hearing the news of the fight. "Why do you always fight, Masu?" Few people besides Rikki were allowed to use his last name without losing their heads. "Rikki... I'm sorry." He realised his weakness for her. Who could blame him? She was beautiful, smart, strong, and kind. Maru walked to her, and held her close. "I won't fight again... unless I really have to..." He squeezed her tighter. "Sorry for making you worry."

Feh. You're not even worth my time, now. I'll be back when I think you're ready to fight... The Homak said, mockingy. That was the last thing Riku heard before he slipped into unconsciousness. Riku... What? We need to get stronger... That Homak definetely needs what's comig to him. We'll just have to train here for awhile. Is this me? Yes, I am you. You must realise your power. You can bring me out at any time... you just refuse. I don't know why you always refuse to release me. It is becoming... bothersome. What do you mean, releaseyou? You still don't get it. I am you, but somebody different. An alternate you, if you will. The one who is still Sardik. I am who you have been for the last few years... ever since you lost your memory. What? You're a person? I thought... Wait... I can get out of here, right? Not until I let you. You need to train. I can help you. Become stronger through me! I don't get it... We both exist in the same body, thus we both can control us as well as the other. But what you need to do is combine our strengths. You can become just as strong as you used to be, and as fast and agile as I am. All you need to do is create some way for us to become one. Ummm... Wait. If you are a part of my soul... then can I just... Just what? Nothing. Let me out. I have a plan. Fine. Sardik awoke to see Marra at his bedside, crying. "What's up, Marra?" Her eyes opened wide, and she sprung forward and embraced him. "Thank the Gods you're okay!" She held him as though he would be gone at any second. "Marra..." She lifted her head up, to meet his eyes, but then looked down again. Riku noticed, and picked up her hand. "You don't need to worry. You can look me in the eye. I don't mind." She looked into his eyes, and stared into them for a long time. They both remained silent. "Do you still..." She started. She looked away for a moment. "Yeah. I do." Riku said. He took her other hand. Her face came closer to his. They met eyes again. Riku sat up, and pulled Marra closer. There they sat, frozen in a loving embrace. It took awhile for them to pull away. Marra once again met eyes with Riku. "You have very pretty eyes, you know that?" She said. "Nah, I think yours are much more beautiful." Riku smiled and moved his face closer to Marra's. "I've been waiting to do this for some time." Riku said. He kissed her, and ran his fingers through her hair. They seperated. "So, should we warn the others, Riku?" Marra suggested. "Why not. Alright, let's go." And they ran to the camp.

"Ohayoo Gozaimasu, may I take your order please?" Maru said with a friendly McDonald's smile. "Um... yeah I'd like a-" "Cheeseburger?" "Actually...I-" "Oh, and a Coke, too I suppose..." "What... wait I'm not-" "That'll be $14.95, sir." Maru grinned. The man looked him over skeptically. What he noticed almost exclusively, however, was Maru's grin. It was a variation on the Friendly McDonald's smile. The one that said You will order what I have just suggested to you, pay your money, and if you're lucky, you'll enjoy it, or I will break both your arms and legs and not quickly, I might add. Would you like fries with that? "And... A large fries..." Said the man, sweating profusely. "$15.50 is your total, sir." Maru handed the man his food. "Enjoy, sir." Maru's look said Or you will die. The man went off on his own way, and found the cheeseburger particularly tasty. -------------------- Maru hung up his hat, collected his paycheck, and headed out to the street. His vespa was waiting outside, next to the bodies of five (almost) vehicle thieves. He got on, and zipped down the sidewalk, running over seven (or was it eight?) pedestrians in the process. He saw an odd looking man smack some people with his guitar. The man walked into an instrument store. He came out with new guitar strings. Aha! I've found family... "Excuse me, sir." Maru blocked the guitar coming down at him with his Rickenbacker. The man looked a little less than surprised. "I'd like to talk..."

Maru peered over his shoulder. The kid had come to. There was a very intersting wound on his forehead where he had been struck. There was a strange horn coming out of his wound. It kept growing until the horn turned into some sort of robotic hand. The hand kept coming out of his forehead, and came out to be a red robot, followed by another robot. This one was significantly larger, and also white. They jumped up onto a platform that was very high up. "Oooh..." Maru stated in bewilderment. The robots went at it. They exchanged numerous unarmed blows, until the red one got an idea. The robot fell down off of the platform, and swallowed up the Gothic kid with a weird mouth from his stomach. The robot exhibited a familiar symbol on its monitor, and Maru thought Is that the symbol of... Atomsk!? The red robot proceeded upwards and started to fight the white robot again. It was a clash between powers. The red robot punched the white robot off into an alley, followed by a large explosion, and the white robot didn't come out. The red robot spat the Gothic kid out, and then turned a very odd and pale teal green. They both collapsed. Maru looked over at the once red robot. The robot was trying desperately to get up, the Atomsk symbol still in its monitor. Maru smacked the robot in the back of the monitor. A piece came off, and the Atomsk symbol was gone. "Well, that was interesting..." Maru said, looking over the horizon. Daylight was coming. "Damn, time for work..." And Maru rode his vespa to the nearby McDonald's. ------------------------ The robot moved. It carried the Goth home.

OOC: WELCOME TO MABASE Mabase is a small, somewhat boring town. Nothing interesting ever happens here... The events that happened last year, however, made this town slightly less boring...if only for awhile... Now the aliens are back, and nobody remembers their specific significance, nor that they even exist. Except for UEDO, that is. They have been searching for the aliens for a very long time, and now is their chance to prove to the world that they can handle this extra-terrestrial threat. okay, here are the specs. Nobody over age 20 realises that aliens are aliens. Nobody may leave Mabase, except for outer space travel. The Naota character is Poetic Chaos (we aliens pull stuff outta his head). Naota and his family now live in America, so they aren't here. Lord Canti is still in town. Alright! Everybody who got in on the recruitment thread, here we go! IC: *"Beautiful Morning With You", by the Pillows begins to play* Maru Maku Masu walked down the darkened streets of Mabase, eating his instant ramen. Curry flavor. His Rickenbacker was on his back, in its blue nylon case. Well, if Earth has one thing good going for it, it's the ramen. He thought, still walking while enjoying his ramen. He then heard the sounds of a spray paint can. It was coming from an alley on his left. He turned into the alley to see a creepy Gothic Kid painting wild graffiti on the walls. "Hey, whatcha doing?" Maru asked, mouth filled with ramen. The Goth just stared at him, then started to run away past Maru. He did not fail to spill Maru's ramen all over his jacket. "HEY!" Maru yelled. He ran towards the delinquent, and whistled in mid-run. Sounds of an engine came, getting louder and louder. Suddenly, an unpiloted orange vespa with a "R!" sticker on front came thundering through a bunch of boxes. Maru pulled his Rickenbacker off of his back and out of its case. He jumped on the vespa, and piloted it. The creepy Gothic kid turned around just in time to recieve a bass guitar to the forehead. "AGH!" the gothic kid went flying into a tree. He was unconscious. Maru looked around, to see if there were any witnesses. None but a small black cat with large eyes. Maru raised his guitar when he realised suddenly that cats don't talk. There's no way he would be found out. But he hit the cat over the nearest bulding, all the same. Maru expected the ramen on his jacket. "Time to get some more Ramen..." he said to himself. He walked off, and the vespa seemed to follow him.

Okay, guys. We're good. EVERYONE, CEASE POSTING! I will now list the people who will be allowed onto the RP (note: there may be changes, putting into consideration those people whose posts need work, and are willing to change.): callmegoddess04 sonofdragon wave_of_death Balinese Cerdic Unborn Lord Xion Undefeated (thank you for being UEDO!) ReFlux Poetic Chaos 0ber0n the Neko so we have ten people so far, but if Anime_fangurl*247 would like to, she may make an acceptable entry form, including all of the requirements specified in my first post, and then be included in the story. You are welcome. And as ReFlux so wisely pointed out, the plot is missing. There was a reason! ^_^ I didn't want anyone feeling restricted here! What we need is some creativity. I will give you an overview in the first post in the Adventure Forum. The Post will be set up soon, and it will be called FLCL-New Generations. BTW, this post takes place after Haruko-san's romp through the town in the series. Although, if some of us need to, you can use machines and other plot objects from the series (like the giant iron and the hand machine required to use it, some of the machines terrorizing Mabase, and other stuff from the FLCL original series.) Alright guys, I hope to see you in the post!

"I have to go out to get some help. We'll need as much as we can get to overtake the Prelate." Riku said. He wandered off, taking Marra with him. As Riku was walking, Chibi looked back, and pointed from where they had come. Riku looked up and saw vaguely a homak's figure on the wall. The homak simply watched them, as if it was some sort of game for him. Riku locked eyes with the man, noticing something very eerily familiar. One of the man's eyes was red. It was the kind of sickening red that made a man's blood turn cold. The color of fire, creating a wintry chill in your body. "What business do you have here, homak?" Riku yelled, not taking his eyes off of him. The homak merely stared back. An answer seemed to come. I am here to see my opposition. You seem...adequate. "Come down and fight us then, if you feel like we're no challenge for you!" The laugh of the homak was absolutely sickening. It felt like your bones were grinding inside your skin. "You truly wish for me to fight you, puny waska?" The homak laughed again, making Riku feel sick. The homak put his hand in the air. The hand seemed to break through reality, through the sky, making a very odd vibe come over the couple. A distortionary wave came soaring through the air, causing both Riku and Marra to be flung backward.

This is an idea I had awhile ago, And I thought that I should follow through on it. Story: Welcome to Mabase. This town is boring. Nothing interesting ever happens here... until... The aliens came. They seemed just like humans, they just had something... odd... about them. Their weapons were very strange, resembling numerous instruments. The Lowdown: Alright, here's the deal. Try to keep it true to the series, as hard as it may be. Races: Human - Can only use weapons if over 21 yrs old. Weapons should be modern, or they can be primitive. Aliens - Can use weapons at all ages. The only weapons available, however, are musical instruments. Jobs: Just chose something reasonable. Alignment: UEDO - United Earth Defense Organization. They try to protect the world from the aliens. Must be 19 or older to take part. Aliens - Their motives are unclear. They tend to range from manic-destructive to calm-peaceful types. Civilian - Any motive, but after a certain age, they will not believe in aliens. Alright, here's my character Character: Name: Maru Maku Masu Age: 18 Sex: Male Race: Alien Weapon of choice: Rickenbacker Bass Guitar (complete with motor pull) Job: Cash Register Boy at McDonalds (A suitably evil organization) Clothing: Sunglasses, casual clothing gone horribly wrong. Favorite color: Yellow Method of Transportation: Vespa Likes: Hitting things, Instilling fear, Girls Dislikes: Boring days, Laziness, idleness Bio: An alien who has been searching for a cause. He found it in Earth. More focused, in the small city of Mabase. He wants to CONQUER. He wants to PILLAGE! He wants to EAT! He wants to do everything that he can, while causing as much mayhem while doing it as possble. All in all: The Spunky-Destructive Type. Alignment: Alien (Duh) Ok, guys. There's how I'd like the character sheets to look. We'll need at least two aliens (not including me) and 4 humans, 1 of which needs to be in the UEDO. I hope to see lots of posts! ^_^

hey, guess what? It's a...*FLASHBACK* "Riku is my name. It's vey nice to have met you!" Riku said. He was looking at none other than Marra Townsend, prized daughter of General Aruka Townsend. She looked down at her feet. "Pleasure to meet you too!" She said, not looking up. Riku looked critically at the girl, then laughed. "Townsend really has taught you well! Don't worry, I won't mind if you talk to me to my face." He said. "Actually, I'd prefer it, considering you have such a beautiful one! How old are you?" "I'm 19 tommorrow, sir!" She looked up cautiously. Riku was shocked. She didn't look more than 15. "Well, that's wonderful. What brings you here?" It was then that it hit Riku. Townsend... THAT'S why you wanted me to wait here... "My father told me to come and meet you here..." She suddenly looked very embarassed. "Yeah... Figures... Well, would you like to stay for awhile? I would surely enjoy your company..." He sat down, finding a place that overlooked the entire basin. She sat beside him, but kept looking warily at him, as though she had never seen something like him before. "So, Riku... are you married?" Riku reddened. "No... why?" Riku remembered all the times Townsend asked him to marry Marra. She went back to looking at her feet. "Well, I don't know... I felt like asking..." Riku kept nodding. He realised that he was staring. He felt like he should say nothing, just so that he didn't screw up and say something dumb... "So... nice day, isn't it?" She asked, her embarassment fading. "Yeah..." Riku felt like he wnted to put his arm over her shoulder, but then decided to discard that thought. He stood up. "I should be going back to my post... My men need me, after all." She stood up with him. When he began to leave, she grabbed his hand. "Don't leave..." she began, but he had already stopped walking. She noticed that she was holding a commander's hand, then let go of it in shame. She looked down and blushed furiously. Her hand was taken again. Riku came very near Marra. "You're just as beautiful as your father always told me. It would be my pleasure to marry you..." He stopped. "I mean..." She looked at him, somewhat frightened. She ran off, leaving Riku all by himself in the Calms. END FLASHBACK Riku came to, and saw that Chuun was gone. Riku looked around, and saw his dead body. He had a kama enlodged in his skull. Gothkir looked furious. The gunmen and the extra guards were all dead. Nobody was seriously injured...except Jiae. She lay in Gothkir's arms, she didn't look conscious. She was breathing, but just barely. And Gothkir was just standing there, looking angry, carrying Jiae in his arms. Almost... Cradling her... Riku noticed that she was bleeding badly. He searched around and found his sword. It was still glowing, but it was glowing green... a very strange green. He looked at it, and it occured to him. Chuun... he was using healing... and my sword got it! He ran up and stabbed her in the area of where she was bleeding. Her eyes opened abruptly, and she shrieked in pain. The glowing stayed in the sword. Oh! I have to use the beam! he remembered. The beam shot out and into her, and she stopped shrieking, and started to calm down. She looked like she had finally healed, and her wound patched over quickly. Riku turned around in time to see Chibi coming up behind him. She looked shocked. "Did you... flash back just now?"

The group was waiting outside the prelate execution yards. "Riho!" Riku yelled. "Yessir?" Riho replied cautiously. "Blast the f-cking wall down." "Yessir!" There was a large explosion and the wall was all but gone. There was Chuun, and there was Jiae. Four kunai penetrated the area, while all the firing squad members held their guns to the source. Four were killed in the process. As the firing squad recieved the order to fire at the group, they noticed the inefficiency of their methods of execution. *click click click* There was a deep and empty silence, penetrated only by the sounds of groans and more frustrated clicks. Only one man had the bullets to fire. The group rushed in as planned. Gothkir ran to retrieve Jiae, while Riho and Chibi fended off against the full brunt of the attackers. Riku and Lucifer and Austris would be the ranged attackers. It was a brilliant plan, formulated by Lucifer. Chibi and Riho would bodyguard Gothkir as he ran to Jiae, split off and kill anyone standing in their way. Lucifer and Austris would protect them with enchantments, and Riku would use his stealth to get as many cheap-shots as possible. The only problem was Chuun. Chuun lobbed spell after spell at Riho and Chibi, while often distracting his blows to get Gothkir away from Jiae. Wait! Riku thought. He pulled out his sword and just as Chuun lobbed the final blow at Gothkir, it disappeared. The blade was glowing now. "Goodbye, b-stard." said Riku.
-
Jiae noticed suddenly that she was being wattched from about a foot behind her. She turned around, and Riku was standing there, staring into the conversation. "Need a way out, huh?" He said. "Well, magic here is amplified, so you can get us out of here anytime!" Riku paused. "But... don't. We should stay and rest up a bit, you know?" Riku looked embarassed. He noticed that everyone around him could tell. Jiae smiled slyly. "Oh. Now I get it. You only want to stay because of-" Riku shoved his hand over her mouth. Jiae seemed to get the picture. "Ah... So I was right!" "Shut up! You have no idea!" Riku was very embarassed. "Look, I'm gonna leave for awhile, so don't leave without me please." Riku started off in the direction of the Calms Basin. He didn't look back, and didn't want to. "If that's how they're going to treat me after getting them out of that mess, then fine! See how they like it when I'm not around to help!" He heard footsteps coming up behind him. They didn't seem organized, so it couldn't be a guard or an assassin, and they were stopping, so it wasn't someone trying to kill him. He turned in time to see... OOC: Hehe... who DOES he turn around and see? ^_^
-
Riku sighed again, except this time not with relief. "Man, I need to sleep a little more..." He thought to himself. "Huh, so I'm in the Calms again..." Riku reminisced about his time in the Calms. He remembered something here that... he didn't think of before... This is the first place he had met Marra... Riku was suddenly brought to attention whaen he heard his other name being called. "Sardik? Sardik? Are you listening to me, Sardik?" Chibi came walking up the hill and smacked Riku upside the head. "Ay! What was that for?" Sardik complained, chuckling. "Well, I've been calling you for awhile, and you weren't responding!" She said, trying to sound annoyed. "Well you should have called me by my real name!" Riku said, suddenly realising that he hadn't told her. "Oh... I didn't realise that I hadn't told you! My real name..." He began. He paused for awhile. "My real name is Riku." "Riku!?" Chibi said, startled. Riku walked off, beckoning for Chibi to follow. Riku really wanted to see the Calms again, before he had to leave... Chibi caught up. She started a sentence, then looked at her feet. She walked side by side with Riku for awhile. I need to sleep... he thought. "I think I'll try and get some sleep. You should too, Chibi..." She kept walking wth him. She seemed like she was trying to say something to him... just couldn't say it very easily.

Riku saw gothkir and the snake-monster meet eyes. There was a very odd psychic wave being sent to Gothkir...one that somewhat disturbed Riku. This place is no longer yours... That's when Gothkir threw the kama. Riku stood, scared out of his mind. He was then confronted by a thought. The guards are here... and they want to kill us... but that snake will provide us a way out! Riku looked at his sword. And we're gonna need this! Jiae! Send a message to everyone! Tell them to get to the snake, ASAP! I'm on it! she replied. Soon, every one of their friends were at the snake. "Okay, everyone. Listen. I have the key to getting out of here right here in my hands." Riku held his sword out. "What I will ask you to do now will probably make you uncomfortable, but please understand that it is the only way!" Riku cut his hand on the sword. "Everyone! Come cut your hand on the sword!" The group looked skeptically at Riku. Damn... not much time before the portal opens... he thought. Chibi stood, and walked over to Riku. She cut her hand on the blade. "I think I get it! Come on! You have to do this!" Everyone came and cut their hands. Even the Lyc participated. The guards and the Kiros, however, did not. "Everyone! Cut hands on the snake's eye!" Riku shouted. They all complied, and Riku shoved his sword into the snake's eye. Rest in peace, friend. he thought. The portal opened. "What!? That's impossible!" The Kiros shouted. "You can't open a portal here..." "Too late!" And the group disappeared, leaving the Kiros confused, and very suddenly aware that he was surrounded by beasts. The group touched down in the middle of a field of white grass. The Calms... Sardik thought. "Well, we're safe now."he sat down and said with a sigh.

"Need a hand?" Sardik, rather, Riku heard. He picked up his sword, hearing the sound of monsters. It was then that he saw the Lyc get shot. He ran by him, picking him up and throwing him off to safety. He'll live. Sardik (I mean Riku) thought He leapt out of the room, unsheathing his sword. There were a lot of vulture-shaped monsters about. He went through and stabbed about twenty, sucking them into the sword. Unfortunately, there were too many to kill with just one sword. He then heard a few gunshots. He turned around in time to see a person on the roof with a rifle. He looked through his scope at Sardik (I mean Riku). He ended up firing at air, as Sardik (Riku) used one of his illusionary tricks. Riku also noticed something odd about the gun he was firing. It fired out pure magical energy. He looked down at his sword, which was glowing strangely. The rifleman shot at Riku, and at that moment, Riku remembered something. He held out his sword. Knowing that all of the monsters were mere magical illusions, he deducted that he had assimilated many into his sword, most likely changing them into the energy that was making his sword glow. "FIRE!" he yelled, probably for no reason, considering with or without his consent the magic would want out. A very small beam came out, just barely larger than the magic bullets the sniper was using. The bullet was turned around into the rifleman, and the beam kept its steady course. There was a yell from the rifleman as his own bullet hit him in the chest. There was a second scream when the beam sucked him in and kept going. "Whoa..." stated Riku unbelievingly. His attention was drawn yet again to something else. Chibi was still sleeping among the vulture things. She was probably going to die. Riku suddenly realised this, and ran to go retrieve her. Sure enough, the vultures had started attacking her, and she had begun attacking them. She had little success, since she had no idea how to kill them. "Chibi! Go for the neck!" Riku cried. He made it there in time to see her cut about thirty heads off with one swing. She's fine he thought, relieved. "Let's find the others!" He told her. She nodded in consent. They kept running until they saw a very annoyed Gothkir, a very asleep Jiae, and a very dazed Lyc...thing....person.... anyway! Riku didn't see the Kiros anywhere. "Ahahahaha!!! You fools! You must either submit, or die!" Came a krios' voice from the bushes. Out came Ta'a Chuun, followed by numerous special guards. "Umm... you couldn't kill us the first time..." Riku began, slowly pulling out a kunai. "What makes you think you can kill us here with less guards?" He asked. There was a long and confused silence.

Sardik woke up, and he was in a room. It was dimly lit, and he looked out the window. There were translucent drapes covering the large windows. He got out of the bed he was lying in, and opened the drapes quickly. A ray of light illuminated the entire room. He now noticed some strange things about the room. Firstly, it wasn't his Well, I'm not exactly surprised. I haven't woken up in my own room for months. he thought. He felt someone touch him on his bare back. "Ra'andu? G'illiamesh a'ken soouen makkaven..." It was a female voice. "Riku... soouen makkaven..." The girl was telling someone to get back into bed... someone named...Riku... Riku... he remembered that name... He felt the girl press herself against his back. "Riku...sosuen metis makaran..." The girl giggled and pressed tighter against him. She was teasing him. Sardik knew that she was using his language, so he decided to try and understand. "Maanan, waskaa. Ukenni menis sikkou." Sardik said, turning around. He saw a familiar face. "Marra?" "Ouji!" She winked and kissed him. "Riku... Oku soouen makkaven messis..." She was asking him to get into bed... with her. "Marra... Noni kappui massakuni..." He drew away from her embrace. "Kappo ma nuni." He couldn't do that to such a young girl... She smiled. "Meeno neeko ukonintoni." She told him that she was old enough. He smiled kindly "Ma nuni." She pouted "Meeno!" "Waa marigo santumi Townsend Hokkoti. Meesuskui, ma nuni, ke pu to neenko akkao...", he pet her on the head. "Koueiki neeno akkao." She looked somewhat annoyed. "Ouiiki masna ou ou!! Ouiiki meeno neeko, nanaki masna ou ou!" Sardik was reminded of something. Marra was only a couple of years younger than he was. She was just a little smaller than most. "Mana...kokui... aki meko nago Riku?" He asked why she kept calling him Riku. "Because it's your name!" She said. She was shifting into common, meaning she was clearly not amused. "It's... my name?" He asked, still somewhat shocked. "Yes, of course it's your name! It's only what I've been calling you since we met!" She seemed to calm down. "Mekkui, Riku." She embraced him tightly, as though she were to lose him at any moment. "Mekkui io, Marra." he said. Sardik awoke. "My name..." He looked at his hands, as though he was looking for some proof of his claim. "Is Riku..." He looked up. It was nighttime again. There was a campfire in front of him, and Chibi was sleeping on a log across the campfire from him. He realised that he had a blanket on him. Did she... he asked himself. He looked at her. She was shivering a bit. This may be a bit cliche... but oh well. he thought to himself. He put the blanket on top of Chibi. "I love you" he whispered, and went to sleep.

This was all happening too fast for Sardik. Well, he had gotten what he had wanted. More memories of his past... but it was all a shock to him. Do i remember Gothkir? No... the name isn't familiar... but he... he seemed for just that moment...he seemed so familiar... He walked back to camp, passing the small, red garbed creature, who was still nailed to the tree on his way. He threw another kunai into his cloak, just for fun. The Kiros flailed maniacally, shouting every and all kiros curses he knew. Sardik sat down, clutching his head. He could feel the memories begin to come again...
-
"Oh damn...", Sardik said, almost inaudible. "This is Gothkir..." He looked at Jiae for some sort of confirmation. "Yes...", She said silently. "Yes, this is Gothkir." "Damn...", Cursed Sardik. He looked over at the weapon. The revolver lay in Gothkir's hand. "This doesn't make any sense... why would Gothkir try to commit suicide?", He looked at Jiae, who had finished healing Gothkir. Gothkir was still lying unconscious in the grass. Sardik noticed something else. Some sort of tiger-ish thing... but when their eyes met, it vanished. "What...was that?"

Rana straightened up. He looked up at the night sky. A half-moon. He wondered about various things, until confronted with the urgency of his mission. He looked in his palm at the large coin in his hand. It had a crest of a snake bordering the coin, eating its own tail. There was a shield that had a griffin coming out from behind it on the coin. "So this is the crest?" He said to himself. He clutched the coin tightly in his hand. He walked toward the inner city with a confident air. He looked like he was exactly where he was intended to be, thus the guards didn't stop him. They figured that he knew where he was, so they left him alone. That was the trick. Rana drew one of his blades and continued walking toward the target's house. A guard was walking toward him. "Excuse me-", he began, but he was cut off swiftly by Rana's glare. You are in my way. I am going somewhere and you seem to think it is suspicious that my blade is drawn. I assure you that that was intentional. But get out of my way, or I will be late, It seemed to say. The guard backed off, somewhat confused. Rana was making good time, and had reached the target house. He was confronted by a dark figure. He didn't seem like te guard who could be fooled by Rana's ambience. "Good evening, sir. I have a job to do, and it would be unwise to stand in my way, so if you will excuse me..." Rana drew his other sword and held it up in a more warning sort of a way, figuring that the guard would get his point (no pun intended)...

I know they aren't. They also are some of the least dangerous. Sardik heard a soft rustle in the bushes. He slowly turned around. He drew his sword unconsciously, having built it up over the years as a reflex. I thought you were an assassin! a sharp, almost scolding Jiae thought, while giving him a dirty look. Assassins don't wear swords! You're right. I wasn't an assassin. I was a... Sardik paused. I was a soldier. Here is where I fought my last battle as a commanding officer. I... guess I was pretty high up... Sardik fished around his pouch for a potion he had stolen from Gothkir's house. He tossed it to Jiae. Drink. We'll need your hand. A tall, spiderlike creature towered over the group. It looked like there was a human in a web on its back. The problem with these monsters was their ability to cast magic spells. They used the anti-matter as some sort of conductor. Conductor... That's it! Sardik picked a rock up off of the ground and flung it at the spider's face, then quickly picked up another to throw at the fireball coming at him at an accelerated rate. The stone went flying up at the fireball, and upon contact with it, the fireball disappeared. The stone was still flying up at the spider-thing. It hit the Spider-creatue in one of its seven eyes. When it hit, it broke and the spider's head was enveloped in a searing flame, and the spider went screaming to the ground. It was still alive, but significantly weakened. It worked! Sardik remembered some of the specs of the Antimatter cannon. It absorbs magic! It also opens a void that, if destroyed, will rapidly release any and all things that were trapped inside! Including... Magic... Sardik looked at his sword. It had most likely absorbed Antimatter, and was now more than just a sword, it was a cage. He ran up to the spider thing and stabbed it with his sword. Surely enough, a void opened up and the spider was stuck in it. The spider disappeared promptly into the darkness. Everyone was awestruck. Sardik looked at his blade, and realised that he was now carrying one of the most deadly weapons ever created. It had the ability to absorb magic. The creatures in the blackmoor... they were nothing more than magical discharges caused by the Antimatter... He was holding a blade that would be his ticket to finding the truth...

OOC: O_O I didn't know this was open! Oh well, Ok Here I am! IC: Rio looked off into the distance. She didn't know why. It could have been to look for someone, or just to admire the view, but she knew it wasn't either of them. She kept staring. The memories of those who she had loved flooded back. They had died here. She couldn't remember how... but it was horrible... all she could remember was the pain... the pain of watching them die one by one. She stood up. Still staring, she drew her sabre and shot a bolt of light at the horizon. She repeatedly did so until she ran out of energy and sat on the ground, almost crying. Zac... There was a strange feeling in the back of her mind, like someone was standing behind her. *snap* She turned around and was face to face with a large demon. Her sabre wouldn't be enough to kill it... She needed magic, which she had used up. Why me? she wondered as she ran away. OOC: Sorry if this is kind of out of context, but I assure you that my character will be in context with the story soon.
